Hello!

My passion in life is visual arts and how it can be used to bring together and help communities. I currently work as an assistant in an Art Gallery (I was lucky enough to be picked out of 30 possible candidates). I have dreams of setting up my own studios/gallery/cafe/community project combined in the future. I am planning to go back to university part time, whilst working, and study an arts and community MA to help towards my goals. I hope to meet like-minded people and useful contacts, and take advantage of the support and resources of an institution. I am saving as I go and looking for a second job to help towards raising the money needed for the course. I know I will raise the money eventually, I would just REALLY love to get going and not see it as something way off in the distant future! It's not a massive sob story, I know, but I am ambitious (I am the only person in my family to go to university, coming from a very uninspiring town) I don't earn a lot, and anything to help me get there quicker would be a huge, huge help. I am 100% committed to having a great career ahead of me and reaching my goals!

I have many photos up outside of this particular gallery, but you would have to contact me and let me know which one you are interested in purchasing so that I can rotate it ... This is just a way that I am trying to come up with the funds to get off the ground.

I have started photography about 2 years ago, and it has grown to be my passion. I am looking to open up a photo gallery with some of my photos in San Diego, California, to bring more art and culture to people. My family and I are moving there from Las Vegas to start a new chapter.

The money would be used to buy new camera equipment and operational money to run and market the gallery.

My wife and I like to give our time to help people, so part of the sales will go towards, children with mental and physical disabilities. There is a place down here in Las Vegas called: Opportunity Village. If you Google it, it will give you an idea of the great things the people are doing for these disadvantaged kids. And I would like to contribute to things like that through my photography.

I'm just a typical Mom and teacher with a dream. I found the PERFECT location for a live-in Gallery/classroom space. It's in a down-town location of a low-income area even adorned with perfect flower box windows out front to welcome what I hope will be my new students! With an Art- Ed degree, a passion, and a dream- I want to share my vision with the low-income kids in my area to show them that they too can achieve their dream.

Now- what I need is 2,000 for closing costs on my dream home/studio space to give these kids (and my own) what they could really use- a space to create and grow!

Any help would be appreciated no matter how small!
