I know this is a lot to ask, but I really need your help trying to keep a roof over my families head and them feed as my luck has ran out.

I have lost my job ( I am looking for a job everyday ) and now my home is in foreclosure, as I am try to work with the bank to keep it but does not looking like it will happen. on top of this the little saving I had two year ago was lost in a bad investment that was recommended to me by a financial planer that was to help me plan for the future and now he is no were to be found.

My husband is a disabled, retired Army veteran. About 10 years ago he purchased a camp in Maine that he planned to fix up and move into for his retirement. Unfortunately he has suffered flood damage twice, once he had flood insurance, or thought he did, but the insurance company refused to pay saying they hadn't processed the payment on the day he opened the policy and the flooding occured over the weekend so he was not covered! The second flooding FEMA came in and didn't bother going under the house so they only gave him $800! Both times the flooding destroyed all the insulation and a great deal of work. He now has to jack up the house, have a foundation put in, then level everything in the house. He cannot live there. He applied for an equity loan from the bank as the property is valued at $139K and there is no mortgage. But we have moved to Nevada as I was offered a job here that paid better than back east. We want nothing more than to get this house fixed up in Maine so we can either sell it or possibly retire there. Right now if someone was willing to give an equity loan of $40,000, we would take that instead of begging. Please consider helping us before this Maine house gets flooded again and we lose everything there. If each person who reads this can only give $1, it wouldn't take long to reach our goal and then we could give back in the future!

i finally got accepted into pharmacy school and i am broke. i cannot afford to pay bills and school fees at the same time. i got 2 kids and a mother who suffers from clinical depression since my dad left us. i decided to go to school to change my future outlook for my kids, whose father by the way gave up his responsibilty and paternal rights. i have been doing it ALL BY MYSELF! i have lost the weight to prove it. none of my family is here they are mostly in Congo. i am the oldest of 6 children and i am trying my best to assist and be the bread winner of my family. i only make 10.00 an hour and the school i got accepted into, i can not get any loans because i still owe money or i am deliquent on my house bills. i cry EVERYDAY for help!! sometimes i wanna kill my self other times i wallow in a depressive state.....PLEASE HELP ME!! i will take any dime or dollar...thank you

I have a family of five in need of financial assistance to make ends meet this month. Our rent is due plus late fees which equals $1500. I recently decided to make a better future for my self and my family and decided to go to nursing school which by the way at the time sounded like a wonderful idea. I now have only 12 months left and we are sinking fast. My husband works his butt off to provide for myself and our three kids but recently work had dropped so we are now about to be evicted. I now have to choose between finishing school or quitting to get a job and help out. I am not a begger by choice and would gladly pay someone back over a monthly payment. PLEASE HELP IF YOU ARE ABLE!!!!!!!!!

Books of Brian Tracy and Robert Kyiosaki won't help me , no seminars or personal trainer. I want to fulfill my dreams, I want to have the possibility to study, travel, and in the future, I want to live in my dream home.

At the moment i'm unemployed and I realy need your financial help to pay my bils and fulfill my dreams.

I have a precise plan. I know it may take some time but I am prepared for this.

I am finally getting serious about paying off debt that includes a hefty student loan, credit cards, and medical bills from a serious car accident that I was in last year. Right now I am behind on my phone bill and barely making rent. I am in need of a 'hand up' rather than a 'hand out' in order to get moving with this plan. We are an average family who have fallen upon very hard times. My wife was let go from her work about 18 months ago with no severance pay and has been unable to find any payable employment since... she has been volunteering at the local school as a classroom assistant but really could do with finding some new work soon.

As you can imagine with my wifes income lost to us things have been tight for a while now so it was an awful second blow when my employers went into administration and the factory was finally closed with all employees laid off, again with no severance pay just over 6 months ago now by the Administrators... we had been hopeful of a buyout but it didn't happen and the whole lot of us were placed onto the scrapheap. As it was we had no payrise for the previous four years...

Things are now hitting crisis point for me and my family, I have only been able to find 4 weeks of paying work in the last six months... we have sold the family car to try and keep my daughter in college and have the house up for sale in the hope we can pay off the capital and start renting but if we don't make this next mortgage payment the bank are going to start foreclosure on us... as for my slightly younger son and his college future that is currently looking very unlikely...

The family pets (2 Cats and 1 Staffie Dog) are as much a part of this family as any of us yet we are now with great reluctance and heartfelt pain considering having to give them up to a the local rescue centre... I think I will cry a thousand tears if I have to let them go but I need to be pratical and focus on my wife and children and putting them first... For I will cry a million tears if I let them down any further than I already have...

Any HELP you can give us will be most gratefully received and a prayer of thanks will be said for every penny.

Have been a great nurse for 36 years, now unemployed and have not found a job. Certainly did not think the job problem would affect nursing. I know God has a plan for me, and hope for a sign/guidance soon. My savings are almost gone to pay bills/mortgage. Don't get me wrong, I am so blessed in many ways. Am trying not to worry, but have no health insurance, all my savings will be gone in a month and I don't know what to do. Am trying to be positive, since being out of work allows me to help my future mother in law (she is 94)My fiance and I are trying to keep feeding a colony of cats, some ferel, but some have become very loving and they all look forward to our daily visits, and the food we bring. Any help would be so appreciated. Hopefully I will be able to get work soon and be able to help others.

i have experienced a major loss of income and an increased living expense and have fallen behind on my bills so bad that i can not even dream of a future. i know what i need to do, i am determined to do it but i am unable to afford the cuurrent bills and find it difficult to even dream of fulfilling my plans for a secure future for myself and my children. my plan is to catch up on the current bills, get out of the car loan that i currently have and purchase a vehicle that has less expensive payments, repair my credit,my taxes and enroll in courses for real estate and/or bookkeeping. i have 2 children who have suffered and lost out on so much due to the finances, the job requirements and insecurity. i really need help to follow through and i promise to pay it forward when i am able. i will appreciate any help i can get and will keep all donors posted on the progress if they are interested. i have worked hard my whole life and have never caught a lucky break. unfortunately i have chosen a career that requires skills that i either do not have or that i am getting too old for. i have been in this business since i left home at 17 and have worked in every facet of the business but the job i am best at is for younger people and i am quickly approaching the age where i will no longer be able to comprete or will find employment less likely. i am looking for a better life. an easier life and the opportunities that i deserve but i am unable to obtain in my current situation, job and finances. please help me. i need approximatly $15-20000 but anything will help , be very appreciated and well invested. thank you

Last night, I found out that I may lose a huge chunk of my already very low income. I'm very frightened.

My worst fear on this earth is being homeless. I am already very much physically alone--in the sense of the only daily companionship I have is my three cats.

I am really, really scared. In the last year and a half, I've lost, my educational future, three jobs, my home, my flat...I was just getting back on my feet and now am told I owe a huge sum to the govenment because they made a big foul up on my paperwork.

I so want to be dead, it's not funny. I am NOT committing suicide--but that said, I would give anything to be dead. To me, it would be like winning the lottery. Life is far worse than death, as far as I can see.

I would very literally rather be dead than homeless.

When you're poor, or alone, or mentally ill---people treat you like dirt--like you've no value, whatsoever.

But, when you're homeless--in most American's eyes---you cease to exisit altogether. I would rather be dead. I really would. I'm really, really scared. I could use a hug right now--not a "virtual" hug, but a real one--oh, how I would love to hear the words, "everything will be alright." But it's not, and there's no one there. I'm just so scared and lost and lonely. I wish I were dead.

Full time college student, with a two year old son, needs transportation to get back and forth from school and daycare. I'm out of options and running out of time. I won't get any finances till September. We already have food assistance and medicaid. I just cannot keep going out walking cold mornings and coming back hot afternoons. I know it is not fair to him, but I am doing the best I can to secure a future. I continually look for work from beyond sun up to sun down. I know times are tough right now on everyone, I don't expect any help. I just can't not try. Thank you all for even reading. Be safe and may god watch over you as well.

I need money for an apartment. I am currently living with my ex boyfriend because I would otherwise be homeless. He is emotionally and physically abusive and it is extremely difficult living with him. He wants me to move out as soon as possible, but no later than the end of July. I found an apartment for $700 a month, but need a few thousand to move in--deposit, furniture, two months rent.

I have a job but I barely make enough to pay my bills. I can't even buy myself groceries. I apply for other jobs every day and never get them. I am a college graduate and am intelligent and would appear to be pretty normal if you saw me at the store. But I have slept in my car when my ex boyfriend has kicked me out at times and I fear I will be living in it soon. It wouldn't be too bad, I guess, but I have cats and it's impossible for my cats to live in my car.

I am a good person and always try to help other people whenever I can. I just need a little help now. I have no friends or family anywhere in the area and I feel hopeless. I have had a hard life, from an abusive childhood to where I am today, but I am strong. I am positive about my future, if only someone would be willing to help me today.

Even a very small amount would be appreciated.

I was laid-off from my job last year and as hard as I have tried, there isn’t anything to do in this rural area I live in. It has been a very humbling experience asking others for help but I realize it’s not about me. I have a son and a daughter and they have a range of needs. I can do without but they need clothes and other necessities.

I know that God is in this situation and although I may not be able to return the love showed to me and my family I do plan to pay it forward in the future.

I'm India... I'm now a student & stay-at-home mom of 6 month old twins. I previously worked as a make-up artist, but due to overwhelmingly high daycare costs i've decided to stay home their first year. I also have a set of six year old twins. Before my 1st set was born I weighed 118 pounds, after weight after they were born stayed a steady 125. So, when I found out I was having a SECOND set I immediately wasn't worried one bit about it because I'd dropped all of the weight before. Well, unfortunately this time it wasn't so easy. The second set left my body a mess. Due to a c-section my doctor told me to not exercise for six weeks. As soon as I got home from the hospital I began dieting. Running twice a day & sit-ups EVERY morning & night. Well, it's been six MONTHS & my stomach is STILL flabby due to loose DEAD skin that will NEVER re-gain it's elasticity. So unless I get the surgery, i'll FOREVER have this pooch. My insurance doesn't cover, obviously because it's cosmetic & I just don't see plastic surgery being in my immediate future. I just want to feel good about myself & look great in my clothes again. For someone who's had a nice body ALL of her life, THIS is NOT ideal. I know this might be a LONG shot, but if you can... PLEASE help! I'll gladly send you pics, if needed.

I am a young mother of the best little boy around. It's been a stressful time since the day I found out I was pregnant 6 years ago. It seems like everytime there is a little light, another emergency comes up and I'm right back at square 1. I have enrolled back in school for the fall semester. I will be going to become an elementary special education teacher. I want to show my son there can be a bright future for the two of us. The donations I am asking for would be used to purchase a car to get me to and from school, and for cildcare while I am furthering my education. Anything is immensely appreciated and will be going to help a young mother who truly wants a better life for her little family. I greatly believe in karma and shall continue to teach my son that when you do good things, you are open to recieve positivity.

Im a single 29year old mother of two beautiful children, my son is eleven and my daughter is three years old. My son got 81% for maths this last term, so I know he has tons of potential, but currently I owe the school more than two years of school fees and end of this month, they are handing us over to their lawyers.
