I'm a Struggling Author, my book was released in 2010 with no real hope for getting it to the market, deriving from my real life story of how I had to struggle from the pain and the shame of my father's way of showing me that he loved me, my life went in turmoil, with no purpose in living, I found myself running from place to place, after my husband no longer wanted me when he found out that my twisted mined daddy had taken my Innocent. Domestic violence, Rape and Incest is no joke, At a very young age of 13, I experienced all three crimes in ways no human should have to face. My father carried a 45 automatic hand gun threatening to kill me if I tell, when I beg him not to touch me, he would stand off a few feet from me and hit me in the head with Apples and Oranges. The migraines became so severe until I could not do anything but go to bed and keep my head tied tight with a scarf until the pain would ease. As I grew older, I became more reserved not wanting to be around too many people, I would sing in night clubs at night and play for churches on Sundays just to keep a roof over my head. I did not have any real friends, and some of them told me they would not have chosen me for a friend. When I would get a Job, most of the time I would get fired or quit because I could not stand any kind of authority, my father always interfered in anything that I made an attempt to do, he would come to the school and embarrass me in front of my class mate, telling me to get my ass in the car and let's go. I"m truly a survivor, sharing my story and listening to others sharing their story made me realize that there are many people out their hurting from the same things or maybe a difference kind of hurt. My Center will be a resource center where you can get healing from the inside and peace of mind knowing that you are somebody, we will mentor, counsel, do training with professional, Practitioners, self help tapes,good source of water for detox, we are a nonprofit org. with lots of love to give and a friendly environment. I would like to build my center with 1 1/2 ache of land included for 1/2 Million. Anyone out there that can help me to make this happen will be blessed. Buildings are just to high to rent, and grants along will not cover all of the cost to run this type of business. Hello all ladies and gentlemen. I am in need of whatever kind of help I can get. I am a young full-time college student, and I'm trying to pull myself up by my own bootstraps so to speak. I grew up in a crowded house with my mom, grandma, great-grandma, uncle, and little sister. I didn't grow up with much money, but I always had what I needed. As I got older my family's financial worsen as the adults started dying off. All of the adults contributed to this pot, and when we lost an adult we lost contributions that were detrimental to our livelihood. Meanwhile I was a stellar student and had aspirations outside of my living conditions. This sometimes didn't float well with my family, and it showed in their actions often. I realize now, that they probably didn't want me to discover how disappointing it is when you hit and miss. I feel like that happened to them often.
I realize this is a long story, but maybe this background information can help you understand why I am asking for what I am asking. I think I am from the first (or one of the first) generations where college was thrown down everyone's throats. We're the classic Barney, Arthur, and Sesame Street kids. I don't know if the Baby Boomers were as forced as we are. After all, this is suppose to lead to upward mobility. I was fed that if I did not take this route, then I would be destined to poverty and an uncertain future. I realize now this future is even more uncertain than what I was expecting it to be. I've learned that a college degree doesn't guarantee certainty, and that you actually need quite a bit of help just to get through.
I am and have been own my own since I started college 3 years ago. Forget not having the extra money when I need at times. I don't have a strong support system, and my house at home is almost unlivable now. I do not have my license or a car because no one practiced driving with me, and I can't afford to pay for driving school, the car, and the insurance to get me started. I got tired of having to leave campus and figuring out where I was going next and how I was going to get there, so I found a student friendly apartment. It's nice to not have to move because I usually don't have help, but I am struggling to keep it. I am desperately seeking work in whatever kind of way I can have it. I get full financial aid, but it's hard to stretch 2 refund checks over an entire year.
I'm finally getting to the point. I currently live and study in Greensboro, NC. I am a dean's list engineering student. I learn most things quickly, and I am not afraid of real work. I need a full-time job or a part-time one that will give me 20 hours + a week. I would prefer 2nd or 3rd shift, but if I have to take a break from school to get myself together I will. I have 1 9 month old. 3 4months old. 4 10 weeks old. All were dropped off at my house. Just looking for good homes before winter sets in. They are all adorable and friendly.

Help me keep my Rottweiler. She was a gift from my husband who passed away in 2006. I've been disabled since 2005 due to a musculoskeletal illness, so when my husband passed we lost our home to foreclosure and had to move in with my parents, one of whom is disabled and both are in their 70's. Now they are facing foreclosure since my father lost his job last summer.
Our dilema is that insurance companies have prevented us from renting since they will not insure rental properties with tenants that have dogs on the "dangerous breed list". Liberty is not a vicious or aggressive dog in any way, she is friendly to everyone.
Our only option is to buy a house. We have $3,000 of the downpayment saved. We need to raise at least another $9,000 to be able to put down the 20% required for investor financing to keep the transaction legal. A family member has agreed to purchase a home for us, since our credit has been damaged due to the foreclosures and sell the home back to us at cost.
We are looking for an inexpensive foreclosure that suits our needs and budget. Whatever you can give would be a blessing to Liberty, myself, and my parents who I now take care of. Please don't let me lose my Gal Pal now after everything we've been through since 2006. I had an accident that resulted in a broken ankle and torn ligament. This happenend last March while I was out in the woods.. fell very awkwardly on a slope and fell on my left foot.
I have been on a plaster and crutches for 4 weeks. Now just crutches.. They are awful to handle.. I am pretty much bedridden apart from dinner time... Luckily for me my boyfriend is taking care of me but still not easy to live like this.

I have now run out of paid sick days and I am now on SSP which I cant afford! I have asked for loan and overdrafts and they were declined as I already owe money to the bank...
I even considered to ask my family and/or friends for money but the situation is pretty bad with everyone.
My boyfriend is even in a worst situation than me so cant ask him for help.. although he is giving me all the support he can, money is becoming a problem. I havent been able to complete my housing benefit form as I need to get to the office to show my passport, etc and I cant get there... Even if I get it it wouldnt be much help...

I know it's a long shot but I was wondering if you could help at all or getting anyone else to contribute.. Even a fiver here and there can go a long way... or just even a pound!

My physio said I could go back to normal by mid June... with some luck... That would mean I could get evicted from my flat!

It is not possible for me to get back to work in these conditions, my company is ok about it whcih is good but their premises are not really disable friendly. Also I live in a top floor and have to get downstairs whcih means hopping on one leg. Thta is terribly dangerous.. I have had little accidents doing so..

I am a 19-year-old student of sociocultural anthropology who also has a strong interest in ecology and the environment. My life's dream is to one day start my own ecotourism company that employs local people in developing nations, encourages responsible and environmental-oriented travel, increases cultural awareness, and gives back to the community. In the past I've been lucky enough to participate in several overseas tours with such companies; I financed my most recent trip by working the night shift in the dairy and frozen foods department of a local supermarket for several months. However, the one nation that I have always dreamed of working in is Zambia: a landlocked nation in southern Africa brimming with diverse landscapes, breathtaking natural beauty, and friendly people. Unfortunately, poverty remains an ongoing problem in some rural parts of this nation. My ultimate goal when visiting Zambia is to communicate with some of the local people in their own languages (I've been studying Bemba and Nyanja) in an attempt to better understand the social, political and economic climate of Zambia, support local lodges, hostels and safari guides, and learn more firsthand about environmental issues in this beautiful and fascinating land. Of course I always prefer to work hard for such travel and research opportunities, and will be perfectly honest when I say that there are many people on this website who need cash donations for reasons far more vital than mine. For a student who is currently unable to find work, I am unsure of how I'd pay for a trip to Zambia at some point next winter. I am a 19-year-old student of sociocultural anthropology who also has a strong interest in ecology and the environment. My life's dream is to one day start my own ecotourism company that employs local people in developing nations, encourages responsible and environmental-oriented travel, increases cultural awareness, and gives back to the community. In the past I've been lucky enough to participate in several overseas tours with such companies; I financed my most recent trip by working the night shift in the dairy and frozen foods department of a local supermarket for several months. However, the one nation that I have always dreamed of working in is Zambia: a landlocked nation in southern Africa brimming with diverse landscapes, breathtaking natural beauty, and friendly people. Unfortunately, poverty remains an ongoing problem in some rural parts of this nation. My ultimate goal when visiting Zambia is to communicate with some of the local people in their own languages (I've been studying Bemba and Nyanja) in an attempt to better understand the social, political and economic climate of Zambia, support local lodges, hostels and safari guides, and learn more firsthand about environmental issues in this beautiful and fascinating land. Of course I always prefer to work hard for such travel and research opportunities, and will be perfectly honest when I say that there are many people on this website who need cash donations for reasons far more vital than mine. For a student who is currently unable to find work, I am unsure of how I'd pay for a trip to Zambia at some point next winter. Benjamin Goodman, a 4 Year Old Boy With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Loses Mother and Sister in Auto Accident. Your Help is Needed.

Benjamin Goodman, a bright and friendly 4 year old boy is in desperate need of your help. At only 4 years old, Benjamin was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Even more unfortunate is the fact that Benjamin lost his mother (my sister), and older sister in a auto accident (September 22, 2010), less than 2 weeks after being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Benjamin is now living with me (Ronnie), and my wife Ann. However, immediate and long term financial assistance is needed. We were referred to Begslist as we have nowhere else to go and no one else to ask.

Benjamin grew up in harsh conditions and his daddy walked out on their family shortly after he was born.

We are in no financial state to attend to the large amount of financial responsibility that struck the family and we will appreciate anything. Every bit helps!

I am looking for help in building an Earth Bag home. We are a family of 5, myself, husband, and 3 children, living in a 110+ year old farm house that my great grandparents built. It is very drafty through the winter, it is in desperate need of windows and other costly repairs. We are to the point where we feel that a new home would be the most cost effective way to go.
