We had to move out of the area for work and because we could not rent our previous home, it had to be sold. It took 2.5 years to get sold and ended up selling for less than we owed. I basically $100,000 in the hole on that sale.

we need to generate some additional cash to either purchase a home in the are where we now live or to continue renting. I currently work for three companies, so it's like having three jobs. Two of the jobs are construction companies and the other is a business I started that produces fly fishing rods and reels. My fly rod business is hurting financially, so The other two jobs are keeping me afloat for now.

I am trying to raise some cash to fund a business venture. I am needing to have fly rods & reels manufactured to my specifications for our fishing business. I need to generate $100,000 to make a run at having our product(s) in Costco.

Please help. Anything from $0.50 to $500,000 is appreciated!

Lets see. I am 20 years old and living in Austin TX-for 2 years now. I am a ballet dancer training with the Austin Ballet. I have been dancing for 14 years. I was adopted along with 7 other siblings in my family, due to abusive and addictive birth parents. My dance teachers are the reason why i am still dancing, paying for tuition, shoes, ect, because my family of 10 already struggle enough finiacially. I graduated early from high school and moved away and now I was acccepted into a school in New York! Alvin Ailey School for modern and ballet, it is unbelieveable how big a chance this is. And now I'm looking around, seeing as I can't even buy a plane ticket let alone be able to support myself all summer into the fall. Things in Life happen for a reason in the most unexpected ways. I am asking to help get me to New York. I havn't been home to see my family in 2 years because I have not been able to afford to fly home to see them, but its the sacrifice we must make to do what we love. I'm from Mississippi, went to Oklahoma last year to see my mum, sistera, uncle.. started helping out an old friend/employer & one evening while fixing the boss' dad's computer for free, met a girl, love at first sight. Then, my parents got me to come back to MS to try out a job. I got the job, very enjoyable, $10/hr, but couldn't forget the girl, she was going crazy thinking I was ignoring her online, I was working & didn't check my messages frequently enough. So I missed her, she missed me.. I came back to OK the day after my birthday & we started our relationship. Everything was perfect. Then, she started losing it, getting stressed for no apparent reason. It turned out the boss had been feeding her meth.(this was oklahoma, after all) so we move out to be happy together, all december we just spent the money I had accumulated working in MS, then stayed in bed together until about New Years, when the boss came around.. we went to casino with her and started working for the ol' boss again, because my job search attempts during December had been fruitless without a vehicle or $ for transportation. So, living with the boss again, problems/drama came back around, my girlfriend would occasionally disappear for 3 days with no communication. I would worry about her, couldn't sleep, worrying/wondering.. we took off to Kansas to get away from the meth-heads. left everything behind, just took a few clothes & ewch other. Everything was perfect.. then my girlfriends aunt started feeding her lies and meth. Effin' meth. girls really get hooked on the stuff. so my first Valentines day was ruined because my girlfriends aunt fed her drugs and lies (i must be a cop because i wont smoke meth with them) and made her think she hates me. She also broke my phone in half and physically assaulted me, but I don't hit females, no matter how obnoxious.. I went back to Oklahoma to work with the boss. this was okay for awhile, but being depressed and lonely, having nothing else to livs for, i stuck with it, no matter how stressful. I was working(for weak pay, but i had free use of vehicles and a place to stay, this was Meth City, Oklahoma, after all - I was the only licensed, insured driver & trustworthy worker they had. I was hoping to accumulate enough funds to take a trip to KS and rescue her from corruption, or at least get her an android to keep in touch, but that never happens when the boss pays you then borrows it back. eventually, the boss' husband went crazy, thought everybody was supplying his wife drugs, or having sex with her, neither of which was I doing, but he kicked everyone out except his nephew, which turned out to be who the one who had sexted his wife from my phone. They were having a relationship, aunt & nephew, which disgusts me.. Anyway, I w(as kicked out as well, my grandparents wanted me to come to Florida to help, meanwhile, my ex comes back from KS with a boyfriend, i get a greyhound ticket to FL.. then the ex kicks her new bf back to KS, comes over needing a place to sleep & get away from meth. I give her uninterrupted sleep, feed her, etc.. and pretty soon we are together again. Nobody helps me get her a ticket to FL for what happened in KS, and before long, matching tickets are sold out. After a hellish, lonely journey in Greyhound, I end up in what seems like paradise, lonely, depressed. My girlfriend wants to get out of Meth City, and I've been trying to make the money with no luck. its been about a week now. My GF texted me how she is heartbroken and wants me to get her out of there. I need to fly her to Jacksonville airport, get her a ride to the nearest airport, and feed her, and I think it can all be accomplished for about $400. I do have intentions of repaying anyone that helps, once I start making money out here. All i need is about $400 to get her out of that drug infested town and out here to the country where she will be away from it all, distracted by lizards, squirrels, bunnies, etc. This girl means the world to me, she's had a rough life, and I want to make her life better like it should be. $400 will get her here to FL with me and I can take over from there, and when I repay, it will be more than was originally contributed, as it should be. this is "begslist" so: Pleeeeeeeease?

This coming August 2012, I would like to fly her out here near me (San Francisco) and give her a week of vacation where she does not have to spend a dime, as she has no money. She lives on a farm with nothing around. She has never been to the San Francisco or Sonoma area.

As for me, I am a single young lady here in SF and I work in I.T. for a living but only have enough to pay my rent (i live alone and support myself) and electricity and food. Nothing more.

I would like to bring my mom to the Napa/Sonoma vineyards on a wine tour. Maybe the wine train tour? Also to Fishermans' Wharf and do all the touristy things. Also a brunch cruise. The Aquarium. California Academy of Sciences. Ripley's Wax Museum. Fine Dining, a concert (maybe Yanni). And I dont know what else.

Plus, her airfare ($500) to get here and back.

This is a dream that I want to fulfill with my mom. You never know how long you are going to have your mom around, and I want to make this vacation spectacular for her! Nothing I want to do with my mom is all that expensive. But I want it to be MEANINGFUL, heartfelt, and a trip she wont forget.

All the financial means that would've let my best friend/spirit sister be matron of honor at my wedding have fallen thru, in true Murphy's Law fashion. I recently recieved a call that my brother is very ill with heart failure. Our mother died at 40 from a genetic heart disease. My brother is 41 and is in need of help . He is single and has no one and I need to fly out back to the states to help him. I dont need money just a plane ticket to get home since we live simple and make just enough to live.

First of all, thanks for reading this.
I am a 21 year old Irish student and am currently studying abroad in Madrid for a year. I have been working since I was 13 so that I could help out at home, and am also paying for university by myself with loans and by working.
I am not entitled to any grants and now my loans have been maxed out. My family tries to help me when they can but at the moment it's not an option.
When I am at home in Ireland I can manage to work and go to university, but since I moved to Madrid I have been really struggling financially. My dad got really sick in August and so, I've had to fly home to see him twice- any money that I had saved was spent on flights.
I was working nights in an Irish bar but it didn't pay my rent so now I teach English classes. They just cover my rent, but I can't afford travel, loan repayments or food. I'm late on my rent because I had to take money from it to try and pay all of these small bills.
I'm really stuck and that is the only reason that I am asking for help. I've spent the last 7 years working and I help out others when I can. Once I get back to Ireland I can start working in a restaurant or something again and I might be in a position to help someone else.

I need 5k to relocate to Arizona. I have a job, but I am living paycheck to paycheck and saving money is not even an option at this point. Every penny goes to bills. I know my financial woes are my own fault, but I need a little help to get on the right track.

I want to relocate as I have a job waiting for me in Arizona that would change my life and my families life. The company will not offer me relocation benefits because of the way the job was posted for recruiting purposes, but will hold the job for me. I just need to get there. I need to fly out, get a hotel and rental car, secure a lease on a home (want to pay 2 months up front), fly home and then move my belongings from IL to AZ.

Seems easy enough. And with assistance it could happen.

My family recently lost their home in Nashville Tennessee and we moved back to the Northwest to be with family.

We sold all of our belongings of value to raise the money for my father's medical transport that cost over $12,000.00 as he can not fly commercial.

My father suffered a sever stroke in 2008, he has been paralyzed and bed ridden ever since.

My mother and I care for him full time to keep him out of a nursing home as we know this would be a death sentence.

I did recently find work and am about to start my new job and with the help of a co-signer we were able to get an apartment that we will move into Friday.

However, that being said our income vs the cost of living is still far from being on par and we have no furniture, no beds, no dishes absolutely nothing as well as just a couple outfits each.

I also do not have a car at the moment and just found out that taking the bus from our new place to where I am going to be working will take about 2 hours each way per day because of the routing and changes.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, I have never been in a situation like this and it feels horrible to have to ask strangers for help, unfortunately my entire family is broke as well and has only been able to offer us love and some food.

even $5.00 helps, as we are trying to pool together funds to just get the living essentials for a new apartment as I mentioned before we really did sell everything literally.

We lost our 8 1/2 month old baby girl 2 weeks ago by SIDS. My heart is absolutely shattered, I miss her smell, her touch and caring for her.
I have 4 sons and our baby girl was the icing on the cake for the family! I am dearly wanting to fly to the US to have Gender Selection as I would love to have another baby Girl. I'm not wanting to replace our daughter but to fill that hole in my heart and to feel love again. I got a taste for what it was like to have a daughter, and it was absolutely wonderful.

It’s really been hard on me because I gave up our car and house to my ex-wife and son who will be five Dec 31th. I figured it would be easier for me to start over because it was just me. My ex had full custody and wanted to make sure they both had a roof over their head and a car to meet her career and child care needs. The saddest and hardest part for me was that I could not afford to live on my own and keep my truck and the house for my ex to live in. I ended doing the right thing and surrendered my truck and moved back home with my parents.
I now been living in Gothenburg, Ne for over 2 years with my parents and I’m really having a hard time keeping a good job without getting laid off or your hours cut due to not enough demand for what we were making or services we provided. I live in a town of 3,500 so the jobs are slim and few by far between. I owe my parents a lot for letting me stay with them but I’m a grown man now and need to get out on my own.
It’s really been discouraging because I’ve been trying to get things together and money saved up so that I can be able to move back to South Carolina to be closer to my son. I have not seen him in over a year. I feel like the worst father in the world! There is no other place I rather be then closer to him or be able to find a job that can pay me a decent wage that would allow me to afford to fly out and see him as much as possible.
The bottom line is that since there are no jobs here I would like to relocate back to South Carolina and get back into my work field as Cable TV/ Collections/ Disconnections. Again thanks for reading my post even though how shameful I feel about it.

Hi, I'm new to this so please bear with me.....

I am a 35 year old single mother of four beautiful children aged 10, 9, 5 and 5 months. I have a spinal injury that after many tests and consultations with Dr's and Neurosurgeons is inoperable and I now have to just 'deal with the pain', which I do, without medication, as I didn't want to add another problem to my ever growing list of health related issues that stem from the issues with my spine.

I discovered just over a year ago that I have a brother and sister (twins) who are 10 years younger than me. It was a massive shock but since finding out about each other we communicate on an almost daily basis through a social networking site and on skype and it feels like we have always known about each other. My children have no-one apart from myself and my mum and to have discovered my siblings and their children has been brilliant for us all.

We desperately want to go and see my brother and sister and their families but we need to fly and to be able to do so we all need a passport, which, having worked it out, is going to be very costly.

I have managed to find someone I know who falls into several of the categories to countersign our passport application forms so I have managed to save some money there and I have, through selling some items on ebay, managed to raise the money for all the photos to be taken and for copies of all of our full birth certificates, but the actual cost of the passports is proving harder to raise the money for.

I am embarrassed and ashamed that I am having to 'beg' for help but I do not want to go down the route of having to borrow the money from a loan company as the interest rates are astronomical and as desperate as I am to meet my siblings, I do not want to do so by getting us into debt as I spent 10 years paying debts off and we now live debt free, buying only what we can afford. We live within our means, do not holiday; in fact my children have never been fortunate enough to holiday; this is something I feel very upset about as I have many happy memories from my childhood family holidays....It breaks my heart when holiday adverts are on the television.

Any help will be gratefully received, no matter how small as we are all too aware - every penny helps!!

I have not seen him since he proposed as he has to fly home to care for his ill father. I really miss him and I can only see him at a certain time. Hi, and thanks for reading my post. I am a mid-thirties guy doing my best to find a long term and stable job after a layoff. while that is obviously a priority, I am also trying to save enough money to attend a very close female friend's wedding in August.
I am in western Illinois, and my friend and her fiance live in eastern California, near Lake Tahoe. Since she relocated there 10 years ago with her then-husband, we have not been able to see each other (although we keep in frequent contact). She and her fiance delayed the wedding partially in hopes to give me enough time to save enough money to travel there and be part of the experience.
My hope is to fly out and spend a few days..preferably a week..but if it came down to it I would take Amtrak or Greyhound. Whatever it took to get there.
