Last year I was put in a real catch 22 situation with my job and had to resign. I was really in no kind of shape to be working anyway, but I was trying. Just a few months before I had to resign, I suffered a total mental breakdown(bi-polar) that I was hopsitalized almost a month for. And I have rheumatoid arthritus, which causes me almost constant pain and fatigue, and has limited the use of my left hand. I applied for disability in September of last year. I'm still waiting on their decision. I have learned how to live without alot of things and have lost alot while I have waited. I was diagnosed bi-polar in 1992. And the rheumatoid arthritus since 2009. Knowing how hard it would be and with the wait and all, and wanting so much not to depend on others always kept me trying to work. Now, I need help with everything. Basically money for household and hygeine items, doctor appointments, and medication. Thankfully, God has already put it on someone's heart for me not to be homeless. If you see this and would like to help me, thank you! I appreciate it very much. And it doesn't have to be a huge ammount. Anything sent is needed and will be appreciated. Thank you.

My story in short

Posted by bedwell on 2012-03-28 16:58:07

I am a 45 yr old stroke victim with a bi-polar husband. My husband has attempted to work but he always gets manic and sick....he's needed hospitalisation so many times I've lost count. I'm not medically cleared to drive and there is only so much locals can help with. It is embarrassing asking someone to drive you an hour into town when you can see from their face they don't want to and even more embarrassing when they say no, they're putting their dogs on the back of the van or some other non-truth.

I can't work....fatigue, short-term memory loss are the main reasons...I'm also very weak and in constant pain from involuntarily clenching my hand. I'm about to start a high school paper to see if I can learn....if I can then there's hope, but my stroke was a serious one.

We bought (unwisely) a house in the country, miles away from any a gym (which would assist me) and a hospital. Don't ask me why as I'm stumped myself....and are now trapped. We are trying to fix our house up to a sellable standard....so we can move to a town but every time we save a little something happens...a tyre needs replacing, our son gets sick....it feels utterly hopeless at times.

We need some money to finish the house and put it on the market, any amount will help,....we don't want to profit from it....and would be happy to just get our deposit back.I can't believe I'm reduced to begging on the internet but here I am. Please help us. I cannot pay anyone back but if things ever improve I will pay it forward, and will answer all serious emails. edwellbj@gmail.com

Disabled musician needs help with funding for college

Posted by joebassman on 2012-01-29 16:58:46

I am a disabled person who has suffered from ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome since age 9. I missed almost all of my secondary education because of my disability.
I studied a 2 year foundation degree and 1 year degree in music at the Colchester Institute. When I went on to apply for a music teaching PGCE at Cambridge, Middlesex, Ipswich and Open Universities I was interviewed but not selected for any of the courses. The feedback on each occasion was that I lacked sufficient subject knowledge to be accepted on the teachers training course. Also, when I undertook classroom observation experience at several secondary schools, it became clear to me that there were shortfalls in my subject knowledge.
As a disabled person I am at a disadvantage when competing with able bodied people for employment. The shortfall in my subject knowledge is a further disadvantage that can be rectified. I have been offered a place at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford Surrey to commence September 2012. My Parents are unable to assist me financially as my father and 2 brothers are disabled and unable to work. My mother has been ill and unable to work for the past year as she has a lung disease and it is not certain if she will be able to return to work.
Previously I auditioned and was offered a place at the world renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston USA. I was unable to obtain funding to attend the course and was informed by the Department of Education that this was because there are sufficient colleges and universities that offer music education in the UK.
Any donations or sponsorship to help me with the fees would be much appreciated.

PLEASE HELP BEING POISONED, NEED $750 TO GET CONFIRMATION FROM LAB.

Posted by ernestbolds on 2011-11-30 04:58:39

PLEASE HELP ME, I KNOW I AM BEING POISONED. I have a very strong reason to believe I am being poisoned by the tenants or staff I the government owned apartment building I'm living in, based on the behavior of the building staff and tenants as well as the severe fatigue and decline I feel during and after every shower I take, cup of the tap I drink, or food I eat from preparation in my kitchen using the water. I need $750 to have the samples I have already collected on video, confirmed by a lab giving me an substance identification, I then can begin taking the appropriate legal action being that I can already prove beyond a reasonable doubt with videos I already have posted on youtube. Any amount you can spare, even if it's just a penny will eventually make a world of difference. The only thing that has delayed me getting justice on this matter for this long is my lack of funding. My paypal.com account email is: ernestbolds@netscape.net if you do not see the paypal donate button below. PLEASE Help me teach these cowards a lesson that will inspire others to seek justice for themselves.

HERE IS ONE OF THE THIRTY VIDEOS I MADE OF ME RECORDING THE BELIEVE TOXIC FLOWING FROM BY FAUCET AND COLLECTING IT IN A VIAL MADE ON JANUARY 22, 2011: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Scekt7p1ZRo

I CANT WORK DUE TO ILLNESS

Posted by yoco2012 on 2011-11-18 08:58:04

Hello thank you for taking the time to listen to my situation. My name is Joe I am a 28 year old married father of 2 daughters. My oldest is 3 years old and my youngest is 7 months old. I was a call center worker for 12 years and did mostly sales, collections, and customer service.
About 2 years ago I started getting ill after moving into a apartment. I am a asthmatic and the 1st year after moving in to my apartment I got bronchitis 7 times, Pneumonia 2 times, 2 colds, 1 flu and mono. I quickly used up all my sick time and had also used up all my FLMA time. One day I had to go to the hospital from work and my employer fired me for it.
I filed for unemployment and won but my Pulmonologist
recommended that I find some other work then call center work due to my respiratory problems. I have a anxiety disorder and recently found out why. I was diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid and I have a small cyst or growth on my thyroid gland. I started experiencing uncontrolled anxiety and fatigue. I went to counseling for the anxiety but it didn’t help much.
I recently moved out of the apartment that was possibly the cause of some of my respiratory problems because we found mold in the hallway outside of our apartment and believed it was in the building too. I have continued to become frequently ill and my fatigue, anxiety, and asthma are making it impossible for me to find a job. I can’t get disability for my asthma because my O2 levels are not low enough.
We moved into a doublewide manufactured home we bought this with a small settlement I received after a truck ran off the road and hit me when I was putting my then 2 year old into her car seat. I was injured but she luckily was ok. The other driver took off on foot. This happened this winter and even after that I have suffered extreme fatigue. Our old car was totaled out and the car we replaced it with turned out to be a lemon. In less than 3,000 miles it blew the transmission and the rear axel broke. It over heated, and we also replaced the battery, 2 pulleys, and the AC went out.

We spent over $4000 in the different repairs on the car and used all of the money from what we had left from the settlement we were going to use to replace the original roof of our house from 1988. Our roof has already had leaks and needs to be replaced

My wife is trying to find work but she has seizures and can’t drive. My wife has only had 2 jobs her whole life and is having a hard time finding work. Now we are in trouble because we have no income and bills keep coming. My parent’s just filed for bankruptcy and cant help us and my wife’s parents are unemployed.

We need help with our bills and to pay for our basic need’s
Our bills are as followed.
Lot Rent 410.00 per month
Water/trash/sewer $100.00 approximately per month.
Phone and internet for two cell phones $150.00 (my wife and 3 year old have seizures and need a cell phone).
Car and home owner insurance $154.00 per month.
Power bill between $100-$300 per month (I live in phoenix, AZ and it gets hot).
We also are paying $100.00 per month to pay the fee for breaking the lease at the apartment that was causing me to get sick so often. We still owe $1,100.00

To put a new roof on our house will cost about $4,000

I wish I never had medical problems so I didn’t have to ask for help. I ask you please if you can help us in any way it would mean so much to us.

Thank you so much,
Joe and family,

Thank you so much,
Joe and family.

I can no longer support my family due to medical issues.

Treatment for PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder

Posted by kitkaplan on 2011-10-11 12:58:49

In 2005 I was on 12 medications, mostly psychiatric. I got a migraine after 3 days of no sleep due to chronic insomnia, which I still have. My Dr. did not know how to treat it and gave me a flu shot and sleeping pills.

I had a severe reaction to the shot and got the flu which turned into chronic fatigue. I also developed cognitive problems similar to early dementia. I have not been able to work successfully since 2005 and have a lot of cognitive problems when I do. I am on disability which barely covers my personal needs and does not cover my bills. My partner supports me.

On top of this I have struggled with mental illness my whole adult life and have felt suicidal most of the time. I have been diagnosed with Early Dimentia, Anxiety Disorder, Bi-Polar, PTSD from childhood abuse and recently Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)which is very hard to treat. (Learmm about BPD here http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=17770 )

The only evidence-based treatment for BPD is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which costs $800/month for a 4 month group with intensive therapy.
(Learn about the treatment here http://www.cognitivetherapynyc.com/DBT.aspx )

As a result of not working I have not been able to contribute to family bills and we are 2-3 months behind on most. We rob peter to pay paul monthly not to get the electricity shut off or the car repossessed or foreclosed on. We faced forecloseure one year.

I hope that with treatment I can return to work. I am happy to talk to you about this in detail if you are interested.

Recently Single Mom needs help

Posted by Mistyhugs4u on 2011-07-22 04:58:20

I am a single mom to 3 kids age 13-8 we came for a visit to see the kids grandparents and my youngest dad called me and told me not to come back. After 8 years of dealing with his medical problems and his drinking addiction. Anyways we are starting over with nothing I do not even have a vehicle a friend came and got me and we were only suppost to be spending the weekend with their grandparents. I have horrible credit due to having fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, IBS, osteoarthritis, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic migraines & depression. I have not worked since 2002 when I was injured at work and had to sue the company but by the time I paid Medicaid back & the lawyer I got a whole $4000 and a surgery that has left me with a permanent handicap due to it never healing right. We are staying with my parents but need are own place ASAP, my youngest daughter needs size 7/8 clothes, my oldest daughter needs 14/16 in shirts and size 3 in jrs. & we desperately need a bed we are sleeping on air mattresses and the queen size one has so many holes in it that it deflates every nite and I end up waking up on a concrete floor. My ultimate dream would be to have a tempurpedic mattress but would settle for any kind of new bed I can not ask for one on freecycle because my parents are worried about bed bugs getting into their house are state has had a bad outbreak of them. I also REALLY need a LAWYER the only income I have is my daughters social security check and I have a LOT of debt and I need 2 file for bancruptcy since I see no other way of digging myself out of the hole. I also will need to find out if I am considered common law married and what I need to do to make sure I have custody of my daughter and her alcoholic father can't get her. If you have read this all the way to the finish Thank You!

Miracle Needed

Please help! Both my husband and myself were out of work for nearly 3 yrs. We lived off our unemployment and savings until once again thankfully finding jobs. Now my husband has lost his new job due to down sizing. We are in serious desperate need of money to pay bills. We are very near to losing our home and my car was just repossessed. Our luck has been down hill for so long now that there is no way out except for a financial miracle to pull us out. My paycheck each week does not even cover the bills. I suffer from a condition called fibromyalgia which causes widespread muscle pain and fatigue and working makes it worse at times. I have had this condition for nearly 18 years, but still struggle to try to make it, even though the pain is getting worse and I don't know if I'll be able to work much longer. I am 51 yrs old and have had this since I was 32. My husband had a crush injury to his leg 5 yrs ago and him finding a job where his leg not swelling up by standing or sitting too long is going to be a nightmare also. We are so behind and about to lose everything. MY whole life has been such a struggle with constant illnesses and other setbacks. But I try to keep holding on. This is the worst it has ever been. I am really on the brink of losing my faith in life! If someone could donate 4000.00 we could get back on track with the bills and house payments we are behind on. Please scammers don't send your emails trying to scam those that are down on their luck...how disheartening to receive those emails. If you can donate ANYTHING at all it would really help. There is a donate button to send through paypal..Please help us..we have no one else to ask!!! God bless you!!!
