My name is Ann. I live in a small town that is in the flood plain, I lost my husband in 98. In 97 I had 14 inches of water in the house. Had flood insurance that helped get the home back in living condition. In 2003 I was in an accident that caused me to quite my job as a firefighter paramedic. I have only worked part time for three months this year, My credit is bad. I live on a fixed income but have been able to pay off my existing mortgage. But now my home is falling apart. The foundation has shifted and the floors and walls are sinking in. I am in need of help getting the house I have torn down and get another home elevated above the flood plane. I am desperate I do not know what to do. My home is no safe. My family is not able to help so I am asking for any and all help that I can get. I am retired and barely existing on social security income and took out a payday loan to keep my lights on several months ago ($500) and now every month I have to pay it off and take it out again just to survive. I am disabled and this is driving me nuts! Help!

I have health insurance but due to recent precondition problems I am risking losing my insurance getting a necessary though seemingly optional cosmetic tail implant. I was born with a partially emerging tail about 3 three inches long that I can vigorously wag and I have a condition where when ever I am nervous , anxious or anticipating something happening my tail starts to wag fast and hard with a sort of red light going on in my head because my imagination pictures my tiny three inch stub of a tail being a long elegant leopard size implement with a graceful swagger. Since I was born I could not wear ordinary pants. So I went to various plastic surgeons over the years to see what could be done to augment my unfinished limb. The good doctor i found devised a way that takes parts of my buttocks and builds a muscle tail approximately three feet long that will extend my tail enough that I will be able to put an end to that red light in my head that says it does not function. Yes I will end up with a smaller behind but it will definitely be worth it in a trade off that gives me the tail I have always wanted. The doctor estimates that the operations will cost between $478,000 and Three million dollars. Yes I know what you are thinking is this tail worth that much money? Of course. I will be able to swing from trees by my tail with the new power muscle tell that can be built for me. I will have three limbs above my waist. I will feel whole for the first time in my life and I will make medical history as the first human in some 200,000 years to have a tail that can express itself with grace and elegance. If I can't raise the money I swear I am going to join the ranks of the circus freaks and get the money wagging my disgustingly ugly existing tail in public. I know that sounds demeaning but I am still proud of my tail and blessed to have it. I am thinking of getting a couple of monkeys to develop an act to get top billing on the freak show circuit. Planet of the Apes Man and Monkeys would be a good name for the act? You just don't know what it is like having just a stub of a tail when you are so close to having the real thing and swinging it in the trees. Hurry and donate before Obama care has to pay for this.

I have been unemployed for many months. I try to put food on the table with side jobs and helping others in the meantime. I've spent many sleepless nights sending out my resume in hopes to find a job. I'm 41 years old and have my 20 year old daughter and step son living with me. She is pregnant and due in a few months. My step son does work but it's very low pay. Nobody will hire my daughter while she is pregnant. If all this is not enough, now we must find a new place to live because our land lord has sold the property. We can pay our bills but do not have the money to relocate into another home. We need funds to find a new place and move from our existing home.

As I fall upon my faith in the Lord I pray he sends us help through these trying times. I have prayed for help and the answer to reach out to those on the net has presented itself to me. I am not looking to scam anyone's hard eared money. My family needs help plain and simple. If we don't find a way, we will be homeless:(

I have two reasons for my plea here. Firstly, I live in Sweden, and my girlfriend in America. Finding the money to travel between each other is hard, and we are both studying with extra jobs on the side, which makes it even harder. Any donation would help us see each other often, and eventually move in together.
Secondly, I need help funding my Firearms instructing. I will explain below.

I have been instructing in firearms safety and handling for about 1½ years now, and have instructed both off duty Police Officers as well as soldiers coming in for extra training in their off (Or permitted) time. I love what I do, and I really do believe I'm making a difference to help others save lives.

The subjects I teach are firearms safety, fundamentals and tactical employment of lethal force. These are very important skills for both police and military when it comes to a situation that threatens their lives.

Recently the instructing was bumped to a higher level which means I have to upgrade my kits of equipment, but I lack the funds to do so. The money I make on instructing goes mainly to funding my studies, as well as maintaining my already existing equipment.

I am about $800 USD short, and any donation would be a great help both for me to continue my instructing, and to make sure that our Police Officers and soldiers can keep doing their job at their top capacity.

Unemployed, single mother of two small children seeking financial help. I have been searching for a job for over a year, registered with a number of agencies, applying online with no result. I am in debt up to my ears, depressed and contemplating not existing. Trying my best to be there for my kids and desperately need some help.

Where do I start? I have a history of Bipolar disorder and depression. I'm on a lot of psychiatric medication. In my life I've had several days I've felt hopeless. Life is supposed to be fun. For me, it hasn't been that way. Now I'm married and my wife suffers from depression. She needs gastric bypass surgery due to the weight she's gained. She's been declined from insurance companies because obesity is viewed as a pre-existing condition. I could use money to help her get the surgery she needs. I am a solo mum with my invalid 81 year old father and 2 teenage boys at home. I work 2 jobs to keep us. My son will be 17years old in 3 weeks and he wants to work. He is in his final year at school, year 12. When finished year 12 in 2012 he wants to be our family's third generation farmer.Our family for 2 generations have worked and lived on the land for farm owners. Helping out on other peoples farms for all of his 17 years he has a wealth of knowledge and experience far beyond his years. I am not financial enough to feed us every night let alone give him any assistance for a bright albeit a hard working future. We live in Queensland in an area where most of the casual farm work is already taken.Please, we do not have any family who can help us out with a job let alone a dream. A little help from a lot of people can help get my sons future off the ground to run and own his own farm.Having his own farm has been the only job he has ever wanted.He has 2 willing workers in myself and his brother to get things started. There is also a lot of his peers who also have grown up in this farming district, youth who are willing and able to work along side of him. The alternative is they too will be out of work by the end of this year. We need what to us is an enormous amount of money,around $750,000.00 to purchase an existing Lucerne farm.He wants to be innovative and extend the Lucerne producing farm into a mixed business, Lucerne and old fashion calf rearing.There are no existing farms of this type in the area.There are many Lucerne farms locally but no calf rearing farms. We have done our homework, calf rearing is very viable. The Northern Territory runs successful calf rearing farms.This is also an area we are comfortable in. For extra pocket money it is what we have done in the past when we have been allowed to use the owners property.Please help me buy my boys a job and more importantly a very Australian future on the land.

I have been unemployed for three years. A little over a year ago my unemployment was cut and since then we have been barely "existing" my wifes income. I just got word from my brother that he can get me on where he works if I can get there. The thing is I need help with relocation. My brother would help but he is in a financial fix of his own. In recent years I have put so much focus into taking care of the cost of living including rent, car costs, and medical costs for some unexpected health issues. My job does not offer health insurance and when I looked into out of pocket cost I just could not afford it. Health wise I am doing pretty well. But, even with daily care, including brushing, flossing and mouth wash my teeth proceed to decay. I try my hardest to care for my teeth, I do not smoke, I don't regularly drink alcohol, and I invested in a cyber-sonic tooth brush after reading about the over all benefits of using one. I maintain regular normal oral hygiene, but I have defined decay and pain.

I have a family history of poor dentition. When I was a child I used to have enamel treatments in which is they would put a layer of clear acrylic over my teeth once a year. It has been many years since those treatments. Another issue that compacts the pre-existing issues is acid reflux I suffer from while I sleep, which the dentist told me furthers the decay, especially in the back. My teeth desperately need care.

Recently one of my teeth began to hurt, I bought a few over the counter remedies and tried to deal with the pain in hopes it was temporary. The pain persisted so I decided visit a dentist. After examining me he told me the immediate problem was two abscessed teeth both needing root canals. Both teeth combined were $6300. I need far more work than that done and some of my teeth may be beyond repair.

They say the smile is the gateway to the soul. I want to feel comfortable smiling and talking. I don't want to wonder if someone see's my teeth. People shouldn't judge but they do. I just wish I could do what is needed to feel comfortable. At this moment, it seems such a difficult goal to reach. Please help me.

My son has Crohns disease and was going to college and working as a manager at a McDonald's. He has had to give up his college and his work due to the last flare up. He and his wife have 4 children to support and feed. They do get some help with food via food stamps but they cannot pay for medicine and medical visits because his condition is pre existing he cannot apply for insurance. He is under severe pressure of going to jail for not being able to send child support for one of his children and also they stand to get evicted if they do not come up with the money for the rent. The rent is only $197 per month but the medical bills are piling up. I am so scared that they will lose their apartment and also not be able to visit a doctor due to loss of insurance. Lost home due to sale of mother's estate. Have no job, no unemployment compensation, just food stamps, which is not even enough for all food. Have to live in my car and eat things like cold canned foods that should be heated. Have no money for gas and am running out. Continually get hassled for parking and sleeping. Have no money for clothes or to get existing ones washed. My pants constantly slip down due to weight loss and other clothes are worn. Would get job if I could have a place to stay to look right, etc. Homeless shelters in area are terrible and one may not even be able to get into one. I could lose thousands of dollars worth of items plus irreplaceable invaluable personal ones if I can't continue to rent the storage unit that they are in. I will soon owe $50 to keep my car registered and legally driveable. It is difficult or impossible to sell a car without a home or the ability to post pictures of the the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't where else to go. I was laid off in May 09' and I have been struggling to get back into the work place. I want to make homemade dog/cat treats but I need start money.It will only cost about $200 for licenses and supplies. My savings are gone and NEED help to help myself. My disease is slowly affecting the cartilege all over my body and lots of days I'm in severe pain and never have a day without any pain at all. I have 12+ prescriptions, but can't fill them all as insurance doesn't pay for them all. I see different doctors on a regular basis along with lab work and tests. I'm 59 and my husband of 34 years is 67. He continues to work so I will have health insurance. He also runs a paper route 3 nights a week with my help some of the time. I can't work..I was a hair stylist and child care provider...but since I don't have enough work credits the last 10 years, I can't get disability. Under the guidelines, we have too much income for government/state help. Yes, too much, hahaha, hubby makes 9.00 an hour at his security job.
I worry about him since he is getting older. Please, please, please help. If I could pay for my health insurance, he could retire. Since I have a pre-existing condition, i would use COBRA for 18 months and then convert to a private policy until I qualify for medicare which my husband now uses.

Hello, thank you for looking through beglist as a place to give, I just discovered beglist, it is nice to be able to choose the type of situation to which you would like to donate.
My husband and I both lost our jobs at the end of November 2010. The store where he was a computer technician went out of business, and I was wrongfully terminated, and am the middle of appealing my case. Just before Christmas and two at once, the timing is terrible.
We have both applied and been approved for unemployment but it does not look like that will get us by.
Since beglist recommends keeping it simple, honest, and to the point, here is a list of our needs:
*Money to pay for health insurance, $200.00 a month (I have health issues and without insurance my medications are approx. $1500 a month) Co-pays are $30 and I see three different doctors regularly. I would like him to have health insurance also, but guess we can put it off since he does not have any pre-existing conditions.
* Rent $675.00 a month
* Electric $114.00 a month (we never turned on our gas heat so we are just using a couple of space heaters right now.
* Dog and cat food (1 dog 1 cat) $70.00 every 3 months
* Garbage pickup $65 every 3 months
* Chase credit card bill $200.00 a month
* Citi credit card bill $200.00 a month
* H.H. Gregg (GE Money bank) credit card bill $60.00 a month
* The kids are due for a Veterinary visit and vaccinations I am not sure how much that will be (1 dog 1 cat)
* Student loans (Sallie Mae) $145.00 a month
* Dish Network (we cut our bill down by half already but cannot get out of the contract without a huge fee) $42.00 a month
* Internet (Time Warner Cable) (we don't get cable T.V. just internet) $50.00 a month
* Verizon wireless cell phone bill $140.00
* We have well water so no water bill
***In short, our bills total approximately $1871.00 a month, yikes! We are getting unemployment, which adds up to about $1540.00 a month. I did not list food or gasoline or auto maintenance in our bills. As you can see, things are very tight.

I've spent over $7,000 on root canals & extractions over the past few years, and I'm almost done with the necessary work. Then I can move on to what my dentist sees as the best solution for someone in their 20's- 4 dental implants supported by partial dentures. I have 3 empty spots in the front of my mouth, and I'm so self-conscious about them that when I smile/laugh, I cover my mouth with my hand and feel very silly. I don't have any molars or the teeth right in front of them, so I chew with my front teeth only. I turn down any invitation that involves eating, and it's very depressing.

I have 1 more root canal to go- on a tooth that hurts every day. I've reached the allowed outstanding balance with my dentist, so he can't perform the work until I pay my bill. I can't take pain medication other than at bedtime because I have a full-time job, a part-time job and a son who needs me to be alert when I'm home. I have an existing loan for a car repair that was done so I don't have that avenue. I am literally begging for any help that you can offer. I always told my son that if I ran into a pile of money I would find people who really need help & donate some of it to them. I will keep my word that some day when I have extra money (it has to be in the near future, right?!) I will come back to this site and donate to others who are in difficult situations. I am not the needy in far-away Africa or India. I am the needy of America and I need help right away.

My name is Levi and I have turned to asking for donations on the Internet as a last resort. I have lost my income, have no savings at all, no property, no assets, vehicle, etc. I have a mental disability which has hindered me from keeping / finding jobs. My combination of Asperger's Syndrome, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and ADHD have had a potent effect on my ability to keep a job, resulting in my being dismissed from around 3 dozen jobs in the 12 years that I have been working. I am applying for social security disability benefits and IF I qualify (which I will probably not), then it will be 4-5 more months until I start to receive benefits. I do not want my body to be found laying in a ditch somewhere so please give me the money I need to pay my bills for at least these several months.

I'm 31, live in Lynnwood and this is my first time posting to ask for money. But now without any income or people to ask for help, worst case scenario is that I will die on the streets. Next best scenario is that I will lose everything and get a bunk in a homeless shelter. But I have been quite happy to have my own apartment and my own furniture for the first time in my life. I don't want to lose everything I have worked so hard for, plus living in a shelter will make it next to impossible to find a job, on top of my pre-existing conditions.

I don't want material objects like your couch, sofa, TV, CDs, bicycle, bikes, etc. I just need a donation from a kind-hearted person who believes in helping those in need. I found a doberman-mix pup abandoned in our local Kmart parking lot. He was a bag of bones with a filthy rope around his neck that he'd been tied with. He was frantic and frightened as cars came in inches of hitting him...no one cared.

I scooped him up and took him home in my car with the idea of taking him into the SPCA near my house. I was told to take him to the other location 10 miles away so I decided to keep him over night and feed him...my mistake. I named him 'Rope'.

Our local SPCA is overwhelmed with aniamls and I realized more than likely he would be euthanized...I couldn't bear that thought. I kept him even though I already had a dog.

Rope LOVES children and people in general so I tried to find a family for him with no such luck. He developed demodic mange which was very agressive due to his malnutritioned state.

I have been unemployed since 2008 and existing on unemployment insurance but pinched pennies to take him to the Vet. I've since learned this may be a life-long condition and hope there's a caring Vet or dog lover out there who might help me with the expenses to get him healthy.

I feel Rope is a great dog; he LOPES like a horse, tucking his back legs under him in the most unusual manner. It's really something to see! Everone who sees this laughs their heads off and gets much joy from it.

He has an adoreable little face and the sadness in his eyes disappears when he sees children or when he lopes around the cul de sac in lightning fast circles.

Won't someone please help as he's currently in his third atttack of the parasites and his fur is falling off and he has many sores.
