I have never been in this position before, and am not sure how this all works. My story starts almost 5 years ago when I had my first child. Immediately after her birth I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis as well as epilepsy. We live with my parents, my mother who is 100% disabled, my father who works two jobs but supporting all 3 of us with debt, and now the burden of my second child. He is due in 4 weeks and I do not have anything. No car seat, or even a bassinet or crib. I feel like nothing but a burden to my parents, as my health and medical bills started this downfall for my family. I have absolutely no help from the father as he is over $35,000 behind on child support. I am running out of options. My parents even tried loans and were denied left and right. I want my children to have a decent start and great childhood, as I did. Please help me give that to my children and take to pressure away from my parents.

My house hold is in need. I have epilepsy and multiple tumors and some are cancerous. I have 2 young daughters and one has a multiple tumor disorder.recently my husband was laid off and is now in search for work. Our bills have stacked up and we have sold everything we owned to pay for electricity and rent last month. This month has been a full on struggle to cover home and utilities. If we don't pay we will be homeless at the end if the month. Our sruggle is to raise $4000 to cover our house electricity gas and water. I know its a lot to ask. We really need a blessing. My fiance and I were both laid off from our jobs in this past year with no luck finding new ones. My mom has been in and out of the hospital all year with seizures and blood clots. In the past two months my car broke down (unrepairable) and my fiancees car was towed. We were unable to come up with enough money to get it out of the tow yard before they auctioned it off (several thousand dollars).
My mom has worked hard her entire life raising three kids on her own. Last year she was diagnosed with epilepsy and can no longer drive. Around this same time she was laid off from her job. Since she was denied state disability her only source of income at the moment is renting out the spare bedrooms in her house. Because of all of this her home is about to be foreclosed on.
On Tuesday this week she went to the hospital for a blood clot in her leg. During a procedure to remove the clot she started bleeding into her stomach. She has been touch and go for days and while the doctors say they are cautiously optomistic she is far from out of the woods yet.
I'm absolutely terrified that even if my mom makes it through all of this she won't have a house to go home to. Let alone be able to buy basic necesseties. I feel helpless and hopeless that I can't do more to help.
She is my everything, and I am begging for you, a kind-hearted stranger, to please do whatever you can to help us. Thank you.

My wife has lupus. As a result we moved across the country to a new state to better her condition. As a consequence, I have not been able to find a job and her insurance is quickly running out. She is getting better, however, she still depends upon a cocktail of medications to ensure her daily well-being.

I have tried for several months to land a job-any job, but with no luck. I am a published author and an historian with a background in archaeology and geology. My wife and I try to lead normal, quiet lives the best we can with her condition. I suffer from epilepsy and as a result I cannot work a night-shift as this will trigger myoclonic seizures.
My wife and I daily make sales on Amazon and eBay and I have been published several times in national publications and have given oral history presentations.

I am trying the best I can in this tempestuous economy to create a healthy, stable home for my wife. However, with the looming threat of limited income and no insurance I can only do so much. I have attempted to create a book dealer business through eBay and Amazon and this has generated some income to supplement my writing income, but this is not enough to support my sick wife.
We try to stay active and engender a healthy lifestyle to encourage her recovery. I am still seeking employment, but as many of you know it is a tough battle. I love my wife very much and am thankful for the care and help she has received thus far. However, I cannot do this alone.

Hi. My name is Julie. I am a single mom. I have one at home, she is 13 and another that just started college.
I worked for a church for 4 years. I only lasted 6 months when a new Minister arrived. I am terrified of being homeless. I suffer from PTSD and Epilepsy. Last month my ex-husband, my daughter's father (the one in college) committed suicide. It just pushed my PTSD symptoms to the surface. I am working hard to hold it all together and I apply for multiple jobs a day. I have $1.28 in the bank, and no money for any bills. I have no credit card debt. Each day I wake up in panic wondering how I am going to keep a roof over our heads. We DESPERATELY need help. I wasn't even able to get my 13 yr old new clothes for school. I am the woman that stops and gives clothes, food, or money to the homeless when I could. Please help us. We just need enough to get by until I find a job. My rent includes utilities and is $581/month. I also have to pay my car insurance and phone. We need your help...Please..

I really need help, I have taken in my Sister and 2 nieces after her husband had been arrested for molestation. My sister doesn't work...she has epilepsy but has been denied for disability. We moved into a slightly larger home so it could accommodate myself, my son, my sister, and my 2 nieces. I don't know where else to turn. I'm hoping that there are people out there kind enough and in a position to help me in my desperate situation. Let me give you a bit of a look into my life.....I have two beautiful sons, 9 and 11.They are absolutely wonderful and they mean the world to me. Unfortunately I am dealing with an unbearable amount of hardships and I cannot give them any of the things they deserve.

I lost my job due to the business unexpectedly closing and soon after, fell VERY ill. I am trying to get the proper care and diagnoses that I so desperately need in order to properly care for my children but cannot seem to find anyone to help me. I have state insurance and it is next to impossible to find a doctor who is actually willing to invest some time into finding out what is wrong with me.

I cannot work a regular job because of being so ill. I have skills in computers and websites, but the job market for that is not very good. I also have college degrees in IT and administration. I am willing to work from home, but there again, no work is available that I can find, but I put in applications daily. We are receiving food stamps, but we are not eligible for anything else. I have no credit card debt or bank loans, but my medical expenses are well into the thousands.

I have tried to get on disability but was denied because I don't have a proper diagnoses from a doctor. It is believed by some of the doctors I have spoken to that I may have severe epilepsy, but in order to get a diagnoses I would need to see a bunch of different specialists and undergo several tests, which my insurance will not cover and I do not have the money for.

I'm a single mom, which makes all of this so much more difficult to deal with. I don't have any friends or family who can help me. I am reaching out hoping to find any kind of help possible. I just don't know what else to do. I feel so helpless, all I want is to be here for my children and be able to provide the things they need. I'm the only one they have in the whole world and I feel like I'm failing them.

I pray every day that I have the strength to keep pressing on but I'm getting really scared because my health is quickly deteriorating. Any donations to help me and my children, be able to afford proper health care, and pay off my debts, would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

I really don't like doing this but I need help so bad I have resorted to this... I am a single mother with a four year old son and on disability. I have a service dog named Cheech who caused me to be in a discrimination lawsuit and since the lawsuit my disability checks have been very irregular (yes, I am fighting the government because they kicked me out of the Social Security Office)I have gone to local charities and LEAP and everything and cannot get the help I need to keep my utilities paid nor my phone. I have epilepsy and a motor development disorder (hence the disability check and service dog and no job) My current balance for my phone is only 50 dollars but my utilities the past due balance is 234.83


I don't know what to do, my son is due to start school soon I have no where to go and nobody to turn to...Please help me.

Gas/Electric/Phone/Rent. I have epilepsy & have a hard time finding jobs. I have no one to help & I've run out of options. I've pawned/sold everything I had of any value. Please help! I was discharged from the U.S. Navy 3 years ago when i was diagnosed with epilepsy, I havent been able to hold a steady job due to the epilepsy spells, and my wife recently died in a horrible car accident. My husband and I are in our 60's and worked all of our lives, but I lost my full time job 3 years ago when the company closed it's doors and cannot find full time work. We have always been honest and hardworking people. It is harder to find a job when you are older and I have applied for everything I could possibly qualify for, often being told I am overqualified. The truth is that businesses are run by and prefer to hire younger people. I would even work for minimum wage just to have a job. My husband can only find part-time work. He is a Vietnam Veteran currently being screened for Agent Orange illnesses and cannot work full time anymore. He has Gout, Chrohn's Disease, High Blood Pressure, skin cancer and bad knees. I am diabetic and have epilepsy.

We have exhausted our savings trying to hang on and keep our home, but need help to pay off our mortgage and debts. We need about $200,000 to keep our home and another $30,000 to get out of debt.

We would be so grateful for your help and will happily pay it forward when I have the chance. I used to enjoy helping others and almost always would stop and buy a meal for a needy person when I was out shopping and miss the joy of being able to do that. I have been in touch with every agency and person I can think of and tried every other option without luck.

I am so scared. The stress we have been under is not helping our health. We never thought we would be in a position like this, but no one does. If you can help us, we would be so grateful.

my mom has recently became mentally ill and very depressed, she has been in and out of the ER and mental facilities. me and my sister have been struggling to get her house paid off she has worked very hard her whole life and I would be devastated if she lost her home considering she only has $2500 left on her loan. she has experienced a very sad childhood and thats probably why she has been having so many mental problems recently shes only 49 years old but yet she has lived a very painful life, when she was a young child she seen her mother take her own life, along with very abusive behavior from her mother towards her and brother, my mom would tell me horrible stories about her and her brother being toddler aged would have to hunt for food in the cabinets because there mother was to sick to fix them something to eat, so they would eat a bottle full of chewable vitamins because they were so hungry. there mother had epilepsy which caused very bad seizures, and I guess she just couldnt take the pain anymore so she ended her short life at 29, after this tragedy my mom and her brother where in and out of different foster homes. but that didnt discourage her from being the best mother to her children, and a wonderful independent women, she raised her children by herself without any help from anyone not even from the gov., she help everyone she possibly could she cleaned a sweet old ladys home once a week because she was sick with cancer, another older lady thats shes close too, she felt bad for one year because she told her she was upset because she couldnt afford to buy her grandbabies Christmas gifts that year, so my mom searched all the goodwills to gather toys for the lady’s grandbabies and surprised her with the toys that Christmas! My mom could do anything on her own before she got sick, she could work on her own vehicle, sew up clothes, drapes, anything, she’s an artist, there’s nothing she couldn’t do, Im just so distraught to see her like this she was always so strong but now I think all those bad moments in her life has caught up with her, please help me pay off her home.

hello, i dont really want to do this but i am left with no toher choice, i know you have seen alot of begs and altho mine is not the worse i would really appreciate your help, i am un fit for work ( i have epilepsy, arthritus in both knees and a crumbling spine ). i need some help to get my life back on track, i reciently lost my grandmother & my girlfriend who i was due to marry, i was ok with everything untill this happend and then i have had to pay out for funeral and headstones, as i was the only one with enough money to pay for these i stood up and id so, but since i have realised my girlfriend had run up alot of debt ( 2000 worth ) i know its not alot to some of you but its everything to me, i cannot get a loan or help from anywhere else, i was an upstanding citizen untill an accident which left me disabled, i held a full time job and stayed ontop of all my bills but now i really feel worthless. i would like to get my life back on track and i am really asking for your help to do this... if i do then i promise to come back here and help others to do the same as i know how bad it feels to be hwere i am and have to ask strangers for help. so please if you can find it in your heart to help me please do so.... thank you so much for reading and thank you in advance for your help.

I had severe epilepsy for most of my life. Had a terrible accident about 4 years ago involving a seizure that ended in a broken neck & a malpractice lawsuit. Got a decent settlement. But, still have a lot of problems with my neck/back. Then about 2 years later I had 2 brain surgeries & have only had a few seizures since...driving again & went back to school. I wasn't able to work & finish school, so I was using the money from the settlement to make ends meet. Now I am 5 wks away from finishing school, but no money or a job yet to pay my bills. My soon to be husband violated a stupid probation from a previous ticket years ago & has ended up in jail tempoarily, which was very expensive. I simply need help getting back on my feet. I'll be working in a hospital operating room somewhere as a Surgical Technologist within 2 months & will gladly make some sort of payments to thank you for your help in my time of need. At this moment I have approximentally $100 to my name. PLEASE help me, I will be forever grateful.

I am a woman with Epilepsy. I was diagnosed last year, I have been on several meds to try to abate the seizures, but I am still having them daily. My husband can no longer work outside of the home as I cannot be left alone. A seizure can kill me or badly injure me.
I am 3 months behind in rent. If I can just get caught up- we can stay on top of it. We recieved a 3 day notice.
My husband does have a job from home, but he may not see his 1st check until March.
Please help. I don't want to be sick and on the street.

I am a kind hearted single parent also giving a helping hand, my next door neighbour sexually assaulted me he was found guilty, l have been left with epilepsy, mental health and a fused ankle on trying to escape, l want to get away from this but l do not have the money to go as l cannot work, l used to love live but now l hate wakening up.
