Need $15k Family Emergency must relocate to AZ ASAP

Posted by mjc102853 on 2012-05-14 14:58:40

Please help me I am in a really bad spot. In 2006 husband died..we owned an internet cafe. In 2007 I closed cafe & started looking for another IT job...no luck even for data entry or help desk (still looking but am told I don't have current skills & no money to get update/education). Tried to sell off all store stock & in 2009 Ebay/Craig's list sales became slim. Cashed in bonds/savings acts/401k/stocks to make ends meet. Eventually in 2010 no more corners to take from & part-time jobs just not meeting all obligations. Now son-in-law in AZ has health problems & daughter+2 grandaughters need help desperately. He had gall bladder removed a year ago & he is one of a few that cannot easily live without it...having really tough time with digestion & weight loss. No time to sell everything. WILL DONATE ALL NON-PERSONAL ITEMS TO CHARITY(s) OF YOUR CHOICE. ONLY WANT TO KEEP LIVING ROOM FURNITURE, 2 DRESSERS, CARD/TRAY TABLES & PERSONAL CLOTHES/KITCHEN/FAMILY ITEMS & COMPUTER. One day at a time

Hello my name is Richard and I hurt my lower back at the gym. I was married and have 2 sons and I also had a house. Now after 4 years on Disability I am just getting by. 4 years ago I had to have a 3 level back fusion surgery, so I went into Boston to have it done and within months I knew something was wrong. So I went to PT and did what I was told after the about 9 months the Doctor said that the fusion was not healing so he had to go back in again. So this is number 2-3 level fusion surgery and when I got out of the Hospital I find out that my wife of 19 years was leaving me, so we go to court with the attorneys and get a Divorce and I lost my house and 2 sons, I had to move. At that time I had a nice house in Mass. So I just packed up what I had and moved to NH where I live now. Now as time went by my back was stilling doing no better, so I went to PT and then my Disability kicked in thank god because I had gone through my 401K by then just to keep a roof over my head and as luck would have it my back feel apart in other areas, so the Doctor said he needed to go in and fix it all now. So I had my 3-3 level back fusion in 3 years, so I went to PT were I hurt my knee and they had to do a total replacement, I asked myself when will this stop and I have thought about taking my own life. I went into some counseling and here it is 4 years later and my back has falling apart again, so I have to see the Doctor this month. It just sucks when you live in so much pain every day and people that have never hurt their backs have no Idea. So I am happy that I found this site because I cannot go out to the center of Manchester with a cup asking for any extra change. The Disability income only pays for about have my bills, just enough for a roof over my head. Then I have all the different medications that are not cheap, sometimes I fall into the Donut hole and cannot afford the medication so I ask my Doctor for any sample and he said they do not give out samples to the meds I have to take. So that is about it for me and my ex wife, well she married her boss who is a Dentist and they were having an affair for years. The other thing is I have tried to fine working from home jobs, like Data entry jobs but they all want you to pay something up front, which I never have so live goes on ONE DAY AT A TIME.

Unemployed and Rent's Due

Posted by akhlut on 2012-04-02 10:58:46

I was in a masters program, but I couldn't juggle schoolwork and raising my son at the same time, so I withdrew due to my grades. That was back in December, so I was able to pay off January's rent. I filed my taxes as soon as I got my W2s and got my tax refund, which I used to pay my car payment in advance (as I was behind on that for several months), my past due bills, and rent for two months. I thought I'd get some employment, but I'm either horrifically overqualified for most entry-level work(2 bachelor's degrees) or a bit too underqualified for nearly everything else. The sweet spot for jobs that I'm qualified for aren't here where I live.

And I've called private charities, talked with the government, and asked friends and family. The charities are all underfunded, the government gives way too little to pay rent with, and my friends and family are living from paycheck-to-paycheck and can't swing enough my way to pay rent.

I just want enough to keep a roof over my son's and wife's heads until I can get some gainful employment.

Help maintain a place for our children.

Hello,

As someone who is in a leadership position at YourCompany, I know that you’re pressed for time. But please, could you give me your full attention for the next 30 seconds as you read this letter?

You see, the children at Plainfield 5 Star Gym would like to continue to have a place to call theirs this year. But you know how it is: government budget cuts, on top of too-small budgets in the first place, have combined to make it impossible for them to be able to do so.

Unless someone steps in to help them. And that’s where you come in.

The benefits of being at Plainfield 5 Star Gym are priceless: teaching children about the wonders of self esteem and motivating them to learn about their ability to achieve goals with discipline is one of the best ways they can learn about themselves and develop their interests, leading to future careers in hundreds of fields.

By helping the children at Plainfield 5 Star Gym to be able to have a place to retreat , you are not just helping them, but you’re also investing in the long-term future health of your community and even your company. A healthy, well-trained workforce is the most valuable asset at any company, and by helping our children to have gym they so desperately desire, you will be planting seeds for future employees loyal to your company.

Not only that, by contributing you will also be receiving free advertising and positive public relations in the community. That’s because we will post your name in the program for the boxing events , as well as on any materials produced promoting the amateur events. To top it all off, we will have a “Partner Wall,” bearing the names of all the contributors to the gym, which will be prominently displayed at the boxing events itself.

By contributing towards the boxing gym in Plainfield you can help our children immeasurably, receive free advertising and promotion for your company and feel good about it all!

Would you please help? We’re are out funds to pay the rent for our gym. We need to raise a total of $50,000.00, which will cover the cost of 50 children from the community to attend without cost, rent, equipment rentals, presentation tables and chair rentals, printed materials like entry forms and flyers .

Any amount you’re willing to donate will be greatly appreciated!

Please contact Rich Johnson at 908 447 7174 to find out how we can work together to give our children the best opportunities to succeed while giving your company the exposure it deserves for helping us out.

Hope to hear from you and thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Rich Johnson

PS: In lieu of a financial donation, we’d be happy to accept any donation in form of donated items or services. Please contact Rich Johnson 908 447-7174 to find out what items or services will be needed to maintain a place for our children.

NEED A JOB

Posted by worklesswitch on 2012-01-25 13:58:17

I have worked for the most part since the age of fifteen. My first job I mopped floors in a small bake shop. One week I would mop the front, and the next week I would mop both the from and the back. I would make $1.00 the first week and $1.50 the next week. Back then that would go quite a ways. I have worked in food service but am looking and willing to learn new areas. I have bakery experience and stocking and receiving experience. I however am unable to drive a forklift. I am unable to drive as a result of almost dieing when I was six months old. Am looking for work in The Muskegon Michigan area, or something that I can do at home without any cold calling or having to have someone call you. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Entry level positions where no or little experience is required would be a big help..

Please help me fund my dream!

Hello

I recently started up my own opera company and I am looking to fund our inaugural production of Cosi fan tutte. I am seeking funding within the region of $6000 in total but all assistance is most appreciated.
The action has been updated to modern day Italy, we have our whole cast and venue up and ready to go. But the dream will vanish if we cannot get the money behind it.

You can find out more details about the project here:

http://www.pozible.com.au/index.php/archive/index/4727/description/0/0

We have a performance target date of March 18 2012 for the venture which is why we are looking for the money immediately. This is the best date to tie in with our venue, the beautiful Makers Market at Abbotsford.
Funds include costuming and props, set design, hiring chamber orchestra and instruments, publicity, payment of director and music director, buying rights to specific images and creating posters and programmes. The artists, including myself, are NOT making any money from the venture and are giving up their time for free.
I am a highly motivated self-starter with extensive experience in both the practical and administrative side of the arts. In return for your valuable help I am able to assist you to get your own business projects up off the ground in areas such as data entry, copywriting, editing, proofing and the creative process. Or if you are a creative organisation or individual needing a hand, whether it be through performance or administrative matters, I would be happy to help you free of charge.
Additionally, my wonderful troupe of singers can perform at your next corporate functioning or gathering - we will even travel as a special thank you!
This is an exciting new initiative that you and/or your business can get involved in from the ground level. I guarantee that this venture will make money - so if it is difficult for you to get involved as a donor, we can organise a repayment scheme.

I can't tell you how grateful I am. Thank you so much for your time.

Please help me achieve my dream!

Racing Sponsorship in the Pacific Northwest

Posted by racer-n-need on 2012-01-17 01:58:35

Sponsorship has been in integral part of racing for years.
Racing can get expensive. There are many items that need to be taken care of just to get out and race. You have to get a car, strip it completely, get it running (buy parts, tires, fuel) and even paint it! (someone has to paint the Sponsors name on the car). You have to store the car someplace when it is not in use, and you need a shop to work on the car. On race day, after you already paid the entry, you have to get the car to the race track, and bring it back home with you to prepare for the next race. You have to provide a scorer and crew, all of which is separate admission to the track, and feeding the crew and keeping fluids in them helps keep them on their toes to make any quick fixes! All of this, and all the time spent by all the team members add up, and most if it comes from our own pockets. Now go one step further and multiply this by about 36 races for the season, It adds up. That's why we need Sponsor Help.

Why Sponsor Us?
By Sponsoring us (or any other racing team), there are several benefits. A presence in racing business. Advertising before, during and after every race. The Car, Driver and/or Crew can schedule special appearances at your place of business for promotional purposes. You even get support from us, the team members and crew. When you sponsor us, you sponsor the team, and your visible pretty much the entire race! Lastly, When we win a race, YOU win a race!
Be a Sponsor!!
We offer several sponsor packages to suit various needs. They're not written in stone, so we can customize your package to suit your specific needs. We take our Sponsors seriously. Without you we can't make this happen!
Doesn't have to be Cash!
We have a many costs to cover.Parts, Tires, Gas, Tow, Entry Fees, Pit Crew Fees, License's, etc. or even just plain hard working talent. Whatever can be donated to helping the team counts!
Benifits of becoming involved in our race team as a sponsor.
We would be happy to display the race car at your place of business or any activity you may have such as a company picnic or special sales event.
And, of course, your company name or logo displayed on the side of the race car. Your company name will be exposed to as many as 1,500 race fans every week. These are local people that spend thier money locally.
We would accomodate any other special arrangements that a potential sponsor may require. Again, our agreement could be totaly negoitable in order to best serve the advertising needs of the sponsor.

Barely scraping by. I am self employed, but not bringing in much at this time. Need to get back home to see my animals and get my belongings. Only wanted to be gone from my home for a small amount of time and have been "stuck" in my current rut for longer than expected. I really just want to get back to my old hometown. If you can help I would really appreciate it. I haven't ever done this before, but I do not have anyone to turn to for help.
My email is violet8880@gmail if you want to contact me.

9)I can work independently, while meeting schedule
deadlines.
10)I can multi-task.

My mother has had a stroke. Mom and I lived together and shared expences. We
are so very close and I come close to losing her. We have no other family to
help us, it's just us against the world. Mom is in a nursing home rehab
center to gain strenth in walking and memory. When she is done with rehab
she will need a safe place to live, meaning a place that has no steps, easy

entry into the shower and bathroom, and close to doctors. I can't bare
leaving her in a nursing home, I would like to take care of her in a safe
environment with easy access to doctors. We rent and shared expences and now
all the expences have fallen on me. Plus driving a long distace to see her
in the nursing home rehab. I could really use some extra money for getting
an apartment set up and moving expences. I am wanting to get moved before
the weather gets real bad. I do have a job but can't get the money fast
enough to get moved right away. I would appreciate your help at this
difficult time.thank you

Struggling teen who needs happiness

Posted by Pleasehelpme90 on 2011-12-24 20:58:07

Hello thank you for taking time to read my entry. I'm a teen in my last year in high school. My father left when I was born and my mother has abused me growing up. I have no siblings, no friends and in my eyes at least, no family. I currently live with just my mother and we have a horrible relationship. Every day I'm bullied by her either calling me too skinny( i'm 5
3 and 117 pounds) or saying that I'm useless, that I'm stupid or that I was a mistake that ruined her life. My most recent problem is that college applications are rolling in and she refuses to help me with anything financially. I've tried looking for jobs but every time I get an interview she forbids me from going because she doesn't want me to work. I refuse to stay at home all my life and never get an education and I don't want to go out selling drugs or robbing people in order to get money. I have no other relative in America to help me and if my father had a million dollars he wouldn't loan me a penny. This problem amongst others have made me very depressed with life. I know they say money can't buy you happiness but if I had enough money to pay for college so I can better my future I would be a lot happier right now. I don't ask for hundreds of dollars whatever you have even one dollar can get me that much closer to a better future. Thank you again for taking your time out to read this. Have a nice day.

A little hope is hard to come by, perhaps a bit of help?

Posted by Spyke on 2011-12-15 19:58:41

It has been a difficult month. The dog got attacked by cats over Thanksgiving and had to go to the vet. The day after we took her she was grabbed by German shepherds. Though she's fine physically, I worry that she is going to need training to calm her down on leash again. A drunk driver hit us last week and totaled our car. We have student loans that are due and precious little to eat in the house. We have one income but we need two, we need two cars but the one we had to buy is two years older than the one we lost because we didn't get much from the insurance company. Nobody is willing to hire me at the moment, after family emergencies, marriage, and full time classes kept me out of the work force for two years. Once I graduated, there was nobody willing to hire, and I got caught in an unemployment trap, stuck with a clean slate, all the right education, and no experience at a time when experienced people are filling entry level jobs. We worry about the coming year with rising rates and costs, and we wonder if we can make it any more. I would really like to be able to pay down on my loans. It feels like it's too late for Christmas, really. Our extended families are all limited income so they can't help at all. There's not a lot of hope around here and a whole lot of worry. I would really like any help at all. A little cheer, especially in the holiday season: a little bit of help for the car, the rent, the student loans, the fridge. I don't ask much, just if you stop by this, don't ignore it; contribute and pass it along. Help restore hope to our fledgling family. Help me show my husband that not everyone in this world is interested in taking and destroying.

Injured firefighters family wont have Christmas

Posted by FFighter on 2011-12-01 14:58:58

I'm a firefighter in Texas with two kids and a wife going to school. In February, while forcible entry training(breaking down doors), I tore a ligament in my left wrist. Although workman’s comp was covering 75 percent of my pay, they were making those payments every three to 6 weeks. Unfortunately, during that time many of my payments for phone, utility, and even mortgage ran past due and accumulated a ridiculous amount of late fees.
I have been back to work for one month and have only barely started getting my bills together, but because I am so far behind we are still barely able to make minimum payments to avoid incurring any more late fees.
I just spent my last check entirely on our mortgage, to keep the water from getting shut off again, and on our car payments. The account is now negative. Now, we barely have enough cash for gas for myself to go to work and my wife to go to school (not to mention her brakes on her vehicle are way overdue to be replaced). My retired firefighter father offered to buy us groceries for the next 2 weeks, but due to his fixed income and his own personal medical bills, I have a hard time accepting his money, because he will be putting himself in a financial bind. Anything you can do to help alleviate the financial crisis we are in would help to make us stable enough to at least get my children gifts for this Christmas. This is my first time, so I really don't know if this will work, but I certainly hope it does because I have absolutely no other options. Thank you all so much.

Need help getting back on my feet

Posted by TiffanyK90 on 2011-11-17 10:58:23

I am 21 years old..my boyfriend and I live with his mother and she is asking us to move out if we don't find jobs within two weeks.

My license got suspended because I couldn't afford insurance. I don't have any alternate modes of transportation and there are no businesses within reasonable walking distance. There's not much work in the area I live in either. We have sold virtually everything we own and all the money went to bills and now we are stuck again. It is winter and we have nowhere else to go if we are kicked out, we will have to resort to living in my car that is falling apart and risk driving illegally. I am stuck. I have applied online to every place that IS hiring with no luck. Our family has done all they can for us and we now have nowhere to turn.

I need help. I am willing to work if anyone needs a typist or data entry person or any kind of online/typing work I can do it for you.

Thank you and God Bless

Needing To Move For Better Opportunities

Posted by DKSchae on 2011-08-31 18:58:28

Hello, my boyfriend and I need to move from Fort Lauderdale to Tennessee by November of 2011. I have been unemployed since January 2009 and have had some temp jobs and interviews, but no permanent hiring. It’s very hard down here and not getting any better in South Florida. I have also been making clay jewelry pieces to sale but it isn’t bringing in enough income to support the cost of living in South Florida.

We have a relative willing to let us move in as long as we pay rent for 1 bedroom and help her with her baby. She even has a job opening for me which I will definitely take. However, given current financial issues we can barely make the move. We need an estimate of $2,000 to pay for preventive car maintenance, gas to travel 880 miles, packing material, and 2 months worth of rent for the bedroom.

I would be more than happy to help you in exchange for helping me. I have experience with general office work including MS Word: documentation, proof reading, editing, research, and data extraction; Excel workbooks: charts, tables, bookkeeping, and data entry.

Needing To Move For Better Opportunities

Posted by DKSchae on 2011-08-31 09:58:37

Hello, my boyfriend and I need to move from Fort Lauderdale to Tennessee by November of 2011. I have been unemployed since January 2009 and have had some temp jobs and interviews, but no permanent hiring. It’s very hard down here and not getting any better in South Florida. I have also been making clay jewelry pieces to sale but it isn’t bringing in enough income to support the cost of living in South Florida.

I need money to help take care of one of the many daily struggles that we face on a regular basis. I have a family and recently graduated from college in Kentucky (degree in management). I need a good job to support my family as well as a place to rent. I am willing to relocate anywhere. I am a hard worker willing to start from entry level. Please help me out. Thank you for your support.

I Need A Job Urgently

I have been out of job for about 10 mths and still have various bills to pay. I am desperately in need of a job - an online job - could be data entry or even writing, as long as it can give me a steady stream of income. Thanks.

Please Help

I have lost my job for about 10 mths and have not been able to get a new job cos of my age. My sister also lost her job but in May this year. My brother is heavily in debt. (He also owes loan sharks.) My father is rich...really rich...but he is simply too selfish and self-centred to help out. Worse still, he still expects me to pay for utility and conservancy fees. I need money to pay the bills and for my daily expenses until I manage to get a full-time job. Or if you have an online job like data entry that can give me a stable kind of income and that can support myself and pay my regular bills, I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

Small investement required

Hi,
My name is Simon and i live in the UK, I have been under the weather for 3 years due to lifes ups and downs ,and i am on the road to recovery ,I took up texas hold em poker a year ago and have played in 2 big live events one in the UK and one in Europe which i qualified online for ,for a total of $30.I live quite close to Europes biggest poker club called dusk till dawn and i wish to start playing 3 or 4 live events a month plus a few small tournaments a week.
The problem i have is there is no public transport to this venue and i need a cheap car to get me there and back , i am offering someone the opportunity to 30% of any winnings i have there for 1 year. this can be checked online when i am in a tournament at the dusk till dawn poker club website , I am looking for £800 to purchase and insure a vehicle for one year, all entry fees to any tournament will be met by myself.
If things goto plan as i expect i estimate a minimum return of £2500 and i think that is on the low side if i am honest , thanks for reading and i hope someone is willing to help me get started and make a bit of money for their investment.
After 1 year if anyone is interested I would welcome someone to join funds with me to enter the bigger tournaments around Europe
I can be contacted at soxieicke@yahoo.co.uk
thank you for reading
