Replacement money need

Posted by pdpjmjpypwmw on 2012-05-09 19:58:57

Hello, to everyone. My name is Phinehas, and I currently live in
Phoenix, Arizona. I as an ordinary private individual is seeking monetary assistance of $2,500 ( must be in U.S. currency only ) from anyone is in a position to help me. I have no affiliation with any church, charitable organization, or company--business or otherwise whatsoever. Unfortunately, I was deceived by someone that claimed to care. The result of this caused a deficiency in the bank account that resulted in it being closed out by action taken by the bank. This money was used for working on personal project expenses, bus fare to get around to do various errands, and to buy health care products that would not be covered by any government funded health care plan, and food supplements that also which is not food stamp eligible. Prior to my parents passing, they were my sole caretakers, because I was and still am semi-disabled and unable to work. I was placed in an assisted living group home due to not being given more desirable alternative suitable choices. Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

desperately seeking money for last semester of college

Posted by journey22 on 2012-04-27 18:58:46

I am desperately seeking some kind of financial help for my son. He is a senior in college and he/we have exausted all means to pay for his last semester. when he first started in 2008, we tried to pay for his tuition but it was taking everything we had. Eventually i filed for bankruptcy which entitled him to get more financial aid money. Now in 2012 he has one more semester to go which will include his internship and one class. We found out that he is not entitled to anymore student loans under a bachelor's degree program. He is not eligible for Pell because our income is just a little over the alloted amount. We have exausted all other means. He needs $2800 to pay for his last semester. The money needs to be paid by May 21,2012. I am trying everything possible to get this money. We were depending on some funds from a WIA program but found out only 2 days ago that was not going to pay. Now with May 21 being only 3 weeks away, we have no idea where the money will come from. My son is 22 years old and will be the first out of my family to recieve a bachelor's degree. He is the youngest of my mothers 9 grandchildren and the only one who will have a degree. He has been trying to find a job and was only able to find a job through a temp service that lasted only about 3 months. If you are not able to donate and know of any other funds available please pass it on to us. Any amount that anyone can or will donate will be appreciated and i am sure you will get a blessing.

Can't use FAFSA, Grants, or Federal Monies

Posted by Future-Engineer on 2012-04-24 23:58:19

Background:

I was born in Argentina, but have lived in Texas since I was 5. I had no say in it; my parents decided that’s what was best for me since Buenos Aires was so crime-ridden. I graduated high school like normal kids, went to a community college right afterwards, and worked part time to cover its costs. I got an Associate’s in Science (Nursing) and then dropped out since I couldn't afford to attend a university nor decide on a major. My GPA was a 3.4 at the time.

I'm now 25, working full time (Geek Squad, can’t do much with an associate’s), studying electrical engineering, married to my high school sweetheart, and have my goals set! I just have one thing holding me back...MONEY. Since I backtracked when I changed majors, I had a few sophomore classes to take. I'm finishing them at the same community college, and I'm registered for the Fall semester at the University of Texas at Dallas (Junior level courses). I have gotten nothing but As since I've been back!

Why I Need Your Help:

Now, you may be wondering, why can't I use FAFSA? Well, I recently obtained my permanent residence. That was a big roadblock growing up. One of the agreements I had with our nation was that I would not use federal funds (welfare, food stamps, grants, FAFSA, etc) for the next 10 years. I work full time and attend as many classes as I can per semester; I have no time for lollygagging.

Sallie Mae can only loan me so much, and banks nowadays make it very difficult to borrow from for school. All the scholarships I’ve looked for require either citizenship or full time enrollment, neither of which I am. (Can’t enroll full time because I need to work full-time to make ends meet) My father is a construction worker and I don’t know my mom, she left us when I was 7. I just sold my laptop on eBay and made myself a cheap one from recycled parts. I've tried getting internships, but I'm not deep enough into my career to be eligible yet. Nearby family members don’t have any spare cash, and don’t make enough to co-sign a loan for me….So I’m here, hoping some kind strangers can help me out.

I am a hard working student, good Samaritan, bilingual, a jokester, drug-free, do calculus in my head, pay taxes, 740 credit score, and drive a broken down Pontiac. My only goal right now is to finish school with flying colors as soon as possible; just need this financial roadblock to meet a wrecking ball.

Will you help me smash it down?

Need help with accident Medical Bills

Posted by clayton-ak on 2012-04-24 14:58:33

I cannot believe I am asking for money on a site like this, but I don't have any other option. I am 21 years old and live on my own, away from previously abusive parents. I have no family I can ask for help or I would not be here. I work at a ski resort and on December 2011 I was injured in a snowboarding accident off the clock when another rider slammed into me, breaking my jaw. As I spat up blood from the rips in my gums as my jaw displaced, the rider got up and rode away. Despite the accident was not my fault, I am still paying the medical bills. My hospital bill was $1500 with x-rays and the surgery was $5000 to have my jaws wired shut. I applied for under 21 medicaid for help after the accident (turned 21 in march) but you can only make about $550 monthly to be eligible! I am barely able to pay my bills as I don't make a lot and already lived paycheck to paycheck. I spent up my savings and checking to get by and pay off medical interest. I don't expect my bills to magically disappear here, but anything helps. Thank you, and God bless.

Loving married couple need help to pay for IVF

Posted by sarahwease on 2012-04-21 16:58:55

My husband and i have been married 7 years, both work full time but bought a house (when i say bought, i mean got an interest only mortgage on a rubbish deal tied in for 5 year)that was 3 years ago and we pay our way but thats all we can afford to do, we try to save but what pity little we manage to put back is always needed for something, most recently the dentist, needed antibiotics 3 times, £7.50 each time because we work,£17.50 just for the dentist to see me and thats the NHS dentist. Sorry for going on, our problem is that we desperatly want a baby together, we have been through every test the docs wanted and the end result was unexplained infertility and as weve been trying for 7 years he gave us a 1% chance of conceiving naturally , usually the NHS would offer 3 attempts at IVF but because my husband has a son (hes 16 now) who i love and have been lucky enough to have in my life, we are not eligible and will have to pay approx £5000 for 1 attempt at IVF.Obviously if anyone by some mirracle was able to help i would get and provide with receipts or a statement of how much it costs. i havent got a bit of paper with the price on but ill sharp get one and show you. I hate doing this, begging, it's against everything i stand for bar one thing and i would give my life just for the oppportunity. My husband is 43 which to the docs is no issue but im 28, 29 this year so the clock is ticking. ivf is only offered under 36 years for woman.Any help even just advice, we'd be most grateful, please and thank you. I work hard to be a self-sufficient single mother. When I lost my job through no fault of my own, I contacted my Mortgage Company and asked them to work with me. They said they would give me a forebearance agreement but after submitting all the requested documents they didn't follow through. In August 2011 they did the robo-signing of my loan that resulted in my house being put into foreclosure. Fortunately at that time they didn't give me a sale date. I was told that since I was getting unemployment I was eligible for a unemployment bridge loan modification program. Again I submitted all the requested documents but my mortgage company once again dragged the process out from Aug. 2011 up until my unemployment benefits ran out on April 7, 2012, I received a notice on April 14, 2012. I received a notice saying that my house is set to be sold on May 29, 2012. I'm in a desperate situation. Both my parents are deceased, my son is an straight A student that will have to go move to another state and stay with his father if I lose our home. The timing for the sale is very bad because I have two job interviews coming up April 30th. I need $20,000 to pay the bank's attorney fees and a years worth of arrearages. If 1,000 kind people could find it in their hearts to each donate $20 my son and I can remain together and continue to enjoy our life in our Old Kentucky Home which was built in 1892.

Need Help in Paying Rent

Posted by denise3288 on 2012-03-19 13:58:21

Hello,
My name is Denise, and I lost my job due to being misinformed by the State Pension Plan, that I was eligible for retirement as of Oct. 1st, 2011. After leaving my job of 30 years, an audit was done, and it was determined that I didn't actually have enough serviced credit hours to retire. But by the time I found out, my job was already filled.
The job market is tough, and after completing at least 95 + applications on line, I recently received an interview two days ago, and think I have the job. I also have a tenant renting one of the rooms in the household, along with my sons income which should cover the months ahead. But I need help for the back rent, or I will be evicted on the 28th of this month.
Please help if you can.

Sincerely,
Denise
