I really hate begging, but it's my last hope. I was working full time and just barely staying afloat with my basic bills (electric, rent, car insurance). I got injured at my work a month ago and haven't been able to return to work. It's doctor visit and testing over and over again. I am currently fighting to get workman's comp but they said it may be a while. I am a single mother and a 3 year old. She has medicaid and we get food stamps, but I haven't been able to get any other assistance.... either there's an extremely long wait or they're not taking applications. We also do not get any child support, her father is a deadbeat. I have no family to turn to either. I need help with my rent for just this month to keep a roof over our heads. It's $450 . Please help, any little bit will help. God bless.

I hate needing to do this, but I need help. I'm looking everyday for a job, while my 9 year old is in school. I take my 4 year old with me because I can't afford a sitter. We walk because I don't have gas money (it'll be repossessed soon, anyway).
I got my eviction notice yesterday. My cable, internet, and phone are all shut off. Electricity will be any day, now. I'm broke and struggling. I don't know what to do, but I'm trying. Please...if you can help.

Please help I'm working full time living paycheck to paycheck I have a wife and 18 month old daughter to support we had a unexpected emergency room visit and my car broke down shorty after these two bills alone left my family in debt and behind on my mortgage even unable to pay our electric bill we will have no lights in less then a month please anything raised will help

I'm a 45 year old male with 5 children. In 2005 I got retrenched from the platinum mine were I worked and with the state that sa's economy is in I've struggled to get a job ever since and my savings are running out. My twins is 18 and in matric this year and both need new glasses and for that they also need new eye test done at specsavers the qoatation was R2000 ($250) for both. My youngest daughter's primary school is R1500 in arears ($200) and my 5year old needs to start play school and the baby needs formula and daipers,then there is food,rent and water and electricity bills and winters coming! I try do odd jobs to make ends meet but now my bakkie (pick up truck) broke down and I do steel works and used it to move my equipment. Any donations or amount money will do and wil be appriciated very much. There is a thousand illegal ways in SA to make money but Im not a theive. I was a policeman in my 20's and know how crime affect the lives of others.I'm alone with only my oldest daugter trying to help in between her job and 2 baby boys. Please I really dont know what to do anymore and what to pay and what not to pay this month.

Help!! My husband was scheduled to deploy and did not. During this time he was receiving payment from his regular job and the Army. Long story short, his regular job miscalculated his leave and began taking money back through his current pay. Luckily, he saved some of it. We were repairing household things such as leaky roof, bathroom, etc. we are now in dire straits as his income has been sliced in half and we have depleted our savings. I only need about 500 dollars for our light and gas bill which will be disconnected if I do not pay on the 21st. Please help I have a small child and do not want him to suffer without electricity.

My family is on our way out of our apartment. My boyfriend has been unemployed for 2 years, depleted his unemployment account, and I now work 7 days a week and still only get 30 hours in. We are making no money, have 3 kids, one of which has a 9th birthday this month with no chance of getting a present. My bills are going unpaid which means eventually the electricity will be shut off as well as internet and then of course the rent. If someone out there in my area would just hire my boyfriend real soon we might stand a chance. I don't want to be on the streets with my kids and pets. I am just asking for temporary help or a job for my boyfriend. No one in my family has drug or alcohol issues. We are good people experiencing a streak of bad luck. I am exhausted from trying everything only to be rejected every time. But I will NOT give up. I do not have a PayPal account and do not know how this works but would love the help. Thank you.

I'm a college student considering dropping out in order to help my family with the rent and bills that have been piling up. I'm supposed to be taking care of my mum, but instead, she's taking care of me, my drop out sister and drunk of an ex boyfriend, neither of which are willing to help her financially. I have given everything I could, but its still not enough.

I need to get my credit down again so I can start pumping out rent, or we'll lose our place. We've already lost cable and we're shaky on electricity. I recently put 600$ towards an investment where I was supposed to have a table at an art convention, but my table was lost due to an "administrative error" and my investment was completely lost. I've tried making up for it by promoting my art online, but with little success.

I am a pregnant mother to 6 wonderful children, my husband works in Tampa,and we live in Polk county which is a 2 hour drive. We do not have a car, so he has to stay in Tampa for the whole week. He only gets to spend time with his family for 2 days out of the week. There are many times that he can not get back out to Tampa to work because of our finances. We are trying to relocate back to Tampa so we can all be together again, and so he can work everyday, but do not have the money to afford the move. I do receive food stamps, and have tried to explore other options for help, but have ran out ideas. I am not on here trying to get any "extra" money. I am completely broke, I couldn't even pay our electric bill. If there is anyone that could help it would be a blessing, any little thing would help us right now. Again we are not looking to get ahead, or to pay off credit cards. We are honestly facing homelessness, which means me losing my children. Please if you can help us.. Thank you!

Hi I am a mom of 3 children, 1 a special needs child. I work as a nurse assistant but it only covers about half of our needs. I work hard and do my best every day and try to keep a smile and a good attitude but sometimes your best just isn't good enough. My special needs baby is 8 years old and is speech impaired, deaf in one ear, severely asthmatic, and has ADHD. Medicaid pays for most of the meds and specialists but not all. I pay for some of his meds and specialists and then there's the gas to go to and from. All in all I'm spending about $800 per month that medicaid is refusing. I haven't been able to get an answer why as of yet. I've applied for social security for him but have been denied twice and now am awaiting a hearing which I am told could be anywhere between 18 and 21 months just to get a hearing date. I only make about $1500 per month so simple things like even a trip to the laundromat is a challenge. Apart from my son's problems I also have 2 baby girls aged 9 and 6 to take care of. Thanks be to God they are healthy. All of my family has passed away due to various forms of cancer so it's just my children and my husband and self. He is out of a job presently and has been seeking work since being laid off from his last job (about 7 months). I have applied for a pell grant and registered for LPN classes at the local community college to try to help myself but it will take about 15 months to finish school let alone get a job. I've managed to pay rent but am 2 months behind on the internet bill (used for school) am 5 months behind in car payments and am at risk of a repo any day. If I lose my car then how am I going to be able to go to work,school, take the kids to school, take the kids to the doctor,grocery shop, do laundry, or anything else? I currently do not have auto insurance because I can't afford it.(was cancelled for nonpayment 2 days ago.) I managed to pay my water and cell(about $100) to keep that going. I am almost a month behind on my electricity but have managed to keep it going by paying about half the bill per month. As of now, I have a balance of $150. I don't know what to do. If anyone would please help us I would be forever grateful and appreciative.

My wife and I have 3 children with another on the way. A few years ago I was a successful insurance and annuity agent, but the downturns in the economy forced me to get out of that line of work. I am working 3 jobs, putting in as many hours as I can, but with some recent medical bills we have gotten behind. Currently, we are totally broke, and our cabinets are getting pretty empty. We are a month behind on water and electric bills, our phone bill, and our student loans, and it is another week before I can expect any paycheck so I can get to the grocery store and catch up on a few bills. We don't have health insurance, and my work doesn't offer any group plan, so we have had to go on Medicaid for the kids and my wife's pregnancy. We have always been hesitant to seek out government assistance, but last month we found ourselves with no food to eat and behind on all our bills. We applied for SNAP (food stamps), but were told that we make $150 per year too much because of all the jobs I am working. I'm exhausted, but I would work more if I had any hours left in the days to get extra work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Back story: I'm a single mom of two. I work full time and go to school full time. I do not receive child support. My a/c went out recently and before we realized it was out our electric bill had run up to an unGodly amount. My school loans are overwhelming, and to top it off I need to take my kids to their grandparents house for the summer and money is tight. Everything adds up and anything can knock something off the monster that is clawing at my back.

Hi I'm a single mother of two working as a new nurse. I've gotten myself into a financial whole that has been mounting since I started school in 2010. I graduated in 2012 and am now working as an LPN, however I got myself in way over my head my last semester of school and haven't been able to play catch up since then. Currently I am one payment behind on my home, 2 on my vehicle, my water has been shut off, and my payment plan with the electric company is now void and I owe 674.00 to keep electricity. I've tried to receive state assistance to no avail as I do not qualify for their services. Any help would be much appreciated to help me get back on track.

I recently started a relationship with a nice guy that has helped me financially, even though he has no obligation with me (20) and my daughter (4). As a college student I have been struggling financially but with his help I was doing better. Unfortunately, he has not been able to work because his truck was stolen and dismantled. We filed a stolen report but when they found the truck it was too late. Then we used all the savings we had to buy a cheap car just to move around. Unfortunately the car was taken away by the police because my boyfriend has no license and well his not able to get a license. For the past months we have struggled a lot because we have no method of transportation but the worst part is that his not able to work as much because he has no truck or car. What is left of the truck is in the junk yard and the car is still in the impound because we cannot afford to take it out. I am desperate to ask for help because we are running out of money, I have 1000 left in the bank and we only have about 200 coming in every two weeks. If we do the math we won’t make it until I receive my next financial aid in Sept. That’s four month that we have to pay bills, which sum: rent, student loan, credit cards, gas & electricity, food, phone & internet and more, 435+90+65+65+65+65+90+20+20= 915 x 4 months = 3660. Please help us pass this rough patch, so I can keep my small family and continue my education.

Okay so I over heard my mother talking on the phone with the electric company, they told her that if she didn't come up with 422 dollars by Monday, that they was cutting off our power. She didn't want me to know about this because she know's I have a serve anxiety disorder. I listened in as she tried calling her parents, local churches, and friends begging for money, with no luck. My father isn't around anymore and my mom can't find a job. No one will take me, my mom, and my two younger brothers in if our power goes off. We'll have no where to go and be forced to stay in this house. I don't know what we'll do if we don't pay the 422 dollar amount, because if they cut the power off, we'll have to pay 742 to get it cut back on, which we have no way of coming up with that amount. Please, if anyone is reading this, any donation you can make will help us. I'm begging you, please. Please.

I am a sophomore at a local community college. I am currently staying with a family member, since I lost my job 2 years ago. We are about to lose our electric because my sister is the only one working and her income barely covers rent. We have no cable etc at home. I can not start my next semester of college because I owe the school 600 dollars after having to drop 2 classes this past semester because my mother became very ill early in the semester. I was left with her final bills as well. So I just need a break, and anything would be greatly appreciated

I am a single mom of 3, I work hard at my job but was out of work for a short period of time due to one of my children being ill. I am behind on my rent and electric. I need $900 to get my rent and electric caught up. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated and I hope one day when I am on my feet I can help someone in my similar situation.

My name is Daniel, and I recently decided it was time for me to go back to college and get a good job. I have worked construction my wole life, but now I am pursuing a career in communications. Ei started college with next to nothing saved up and a full time job to help with the bills. I realized it wasn't going to be enough so I started looking for online ways to make money. I sold almost everything I own on eBay and realized I was still short. So I discovered online surveys. For those of you that have never done online surveys for money, don't. Every site promised to make me money and the only outcome was my old email address had to be shut down because I was receiving thousands of emails per week. I hope someone out there understands that times get tough. I spend 400 dollars a month on rent, 150 roughly for gas and electricity, the rest goes to cover fuel, my insurance, phone payment, and sometimes when there is something left I eat. If I wasn't a cook at a restaurant I would not eat at all. I'm tired of struggling all the time and if I could just get a little help now I know I can turn the corner. When I finally start my career I will donate money to people in need just like me, because I know what it's like to struggle and want. I'm only asking for enough to get by. Anything at all helps and I really do appreciate it.

So its day two of this begging thing apparently im not good at it cause noone has answered it. I sincerely need someones help. Im not asking for someone else to do without but I could use some serious funds. I owe $630 rent by the 15th or they will start eveiction. I owe $88 for car insurance that has been cancelled as of the 5th. I need $ 28.59 for my past due water bill and my new electric bill is due out any day! I'm going back to work in 4 days to prevent any further neeeds but without help I will be so far behind I may lose it all! Hello I'm a single mother of one and have had my share of badluck. I'm only on here because I just lost my job due to medical issues. I had ovarian cancer and a dog attack. I had a job but they let me go due me going to the hospital. So I need help with my rent and electric bill. I've been looking for a job and can't seem to catch a break. my bad luck started on the way home from adopting my son. our finances were nil from the adoption, but my wife and i were happy with the knowledge that her son was now mine, and the finances would work out. we were WRONG. on the way home, our van died and needed repairs, then all of the overtime i had been working to help pay for things dried up. fast forward two months, now we're on the verge of loosing our home, our gas is off, so we have no hot water and only dried goods for food. the electricity is scheduled to be shut off in a week. and the laptop i tried to sell to make up the money we needed was stolen. if there is a kind soul out there that reads this, we desperatly need $1500 dollars. and i do mean desperate. as in im trying to figure out how to cash in on my life insurance...that desperate. please help!

After caring for the past 5 yrs. for our moms, our son and his 3 kids under the age of 5, we have used all our resources.My husband has been in the hospital every year for surgery. Stents, quadruple bypass, and others. Having 6 other people to care for, our utilites tripled and the food budget was unbelievable. Keeping thelights and hot water running was so hard. It got so bad, that we did lose electric for 3 months. Our only hope is to file chap.7 and chap.13.
Please help save our small home. It is just the two of us now, we are in our 50's. We are trying to raise 2500 for our attorney..

i need help with my electric bill getting shut off soon owe around to the tune of $3500. My partner was laid off in november which has left me to fend all our debts off but this is the icing on the cake, they would not approve us for energy assistance claiming i made 50 dollars over the limit for this program. its gotten to the point where ive had to choose mortgage over electric..we cant be homeless and this is really my last hope for a break in our lives at this point..Thank you all!

I am 57 yrs old and retired on disability. My roommate moved out and now I am stuck with everything. The electric company has informed me that I now need to switch the bill into my name BUT they are requiring a payment of $976.24 to do so; this includes a past due amount and a security deposit. I do not have this kind of cash on hand. My due date is 5/21/12 or the service here will be disconnected.
I am desperate. I have never been in a situation such as this before. I have numerous ailments and require electricity in order to take my daily breathing treatments. I have diabetes, severe asthma, fibromyalgia, arthtitis, and severe high blood pressure. No, I do not smoke, drink or use drugs. I don't even have a cell phone.
Any help you can offer would be very appreciated. Asking for financial help is the most difficult thing I have ever done.

My husband and I had a nice place that we were buying and then we both got laid off well he was working alittle and it was pay insurance or the electric bill. We paid the electric bill and was starting to get on our feet when our home burned to the ground, we did not recieve much help but we found another place to live and stayed there for nearly 7 yrs. The roof started leaking very bad and the land lord just laid tin down on the wet rotting roof well black mold started growing and I spent the next yr back and forth to the Dr trying to figure out what was wrong with me. Lost wieght, exremly tired slept all the time, no energy. well one dr finally figured it out BLack Mold. we moved in with our son and his family and about 4 months ago we moved into a new place. while I was cleaning the bathroom I found black mold all over the walls. We have found another home but we do not have the money for all the deposits on electric gas house deposit. We need ya'lls help so very mch. I will gladly send you a copy of the reciept for which ever one is turned on. I will also send you a reciept so you can take it off of your taxes if possible. My husband works sunup to after dark 6 days a week we only have one vehicle and he works 40 miles one way from home and moving into this new house will help cut down his driving time because it is closer to his work.
