I am faced with an impossible request I think. 3 years ago I was a strong, confident woman, 13 credit hours away from a BS in Biology with plan of going to graduate school. I was in an extremely abusive relationship with a man that I had to assist authorities in putting in prison. The same man left his daughter in my custody under the pretenses that her mother had abandoned her. I cared for her for two years as the only mother she knew before I found out that he had in fact kept her from her real mother and I had to return her to her biological mother. That same man sent people after me to attack me later and forced me to fear for my life. I still do.

I now understand that I was dealing with a psychopath.

After that man was incarcerated I tried to rebuild and began a relationship with another man who later went to prison for a charge that he accepted for someone else basically. While he was incarcerated my best friend of over 20 year died of unknown and still unexplainable causes. Once the man that I was with came home I then suffered two miscarriages.

I am told by my physicians that the constant state of being in a heightened and frightened state caused post traumatic stress disorder which led to an anxiety disorder coupled with daily panic attacks and agoraphobia.

Due to my condition I lost my job and no longer have health insurance. I am unable to drive or leave my house 90% of the time. I have been hospitalized on several occasions in an attempt to control the anxiety and depression that seem to only be getting worse. I feel over medicated but still as if nothing is working.

My physicians have suggested a residential psychatric program that would last approximately 30-45 days to assist me in in getting a handle on these conditions and assist me in regaining control of my life. However these programs are all self pay even if I did have insurance and range from 40-60,000 for the complete care in a facilty that can handle both the medical and therapeutic side of psychiatric care.

There is simply no way that I can accomplish this, but I feel as if I am slipping away and I am scared that I will never come back.

I just want my life back. To be free from these nightmares, this panic, these fears and to not live my life on medications that due nothing but make me a zombie. I had a life and a plan, I was going somewhere, and now I can't even leave my house for weeks sometimes months at a time.

My parents have basically been placed in financial ruin to assist me during this time, and they can no longer assist me. I am scared beyond words, If I don't find a way to get help, to get better, I fear for what will happen to me, how I will live, pay bills, work, be a functinal member of society.

I feel that committing to a residential program as suggested is my only option left, my only option for survival. I am desperate and scared. But I don't know how to accomplish what seems to be the only hope.

Please Help, someone please throw me a rope, I am desperate, lost in a dark pit somewhere, I can't see out, there seems to be no way out......I need a rope.....Please help.

I'm on bended knee asking for a very small sum of money, $5.00. I work as a produce assistant at a grocery store. I drive an older car with terrible gas mileage.

I'm in need $5.00 so I can buy enough gas to get to work in the morning. Once I'm there, I can pick up my pay and buy gas for the ride home.

HELP PLEASE! my child support was short this month and I dont have enough funds to pay it. All my bills came at once so I'm very late and very short. I have 4 children. My boyfriend is a 36 year old disabled veteran. He has regular doctors appointments every week. The drive is a 4 hour round trip for each appointment. If he has to miss an appointment because we can't afford the gas it takes months to reschedule it(the VA medical system is busy). I am a pregnant mother to 6 wonderful children, my husband works in Tampa,and we live in Polk county which is a 2 hour drive. We do not have a car, so he has to stay in Tampa for the whole week. He only gets to spend time with his family for 2 days out of the week. There are many times that he can not get back out to Tampa to work because of our finances. We are trying to relocate back to Tampa so we can all be together again, and so he can work everyday, but do not have the money to afford the move. I do receive food stamps, and have tried to explore other options for help, but have ran out ideas. I am not on here trying to get any "extra" money. I recently got divorced and my ex-wife took our car that was paid for to leave me with the car that I found out she hadn't made a payment in over a year on it. I thought we were a few months behind and when I ask for the bank payment slips with the bank phone number on it so I could call and arrange a weekly payment schedule to get caught up she didn't know where it was. She had actually thrown it away so I wouldn't find it. Its a small bank the wasn't even in our town so I couldn't drive up there to talk to them. I asked for the bank name so I could google it but she supposedly didn't know. Well about 2 months ago I was at work and the car got towed! I'm stuck without a car and can't work because I have no ride. She had planned to divorce me and then leave me stuck with a car that wasn't being paid for so it would be towed and leave me without means of transportation so I could work. She always paid the car payments and screwed me over so bad. It sucks. I always use to work 2 jobs and made the most money in our household. She had us move back to her home town in a house that her brother and his girlfriend lived with us so that when we got divorced I would be forced to move out. I'm staying with a friend but I pay rent and it's so hard to pay rent and save for a car when I can't make it to work most of the time cause he or his girlfriend are working and their jobs are far away. I would be so happy if someone could help me get back on my feet by getting enough money for a down payment for a car or even enough to buy a really old cheap car that can at least help me to get to and from work ok! I have been saving money $50 at a time for ten months in an effort to build some emergency funds. I was able to save $2000.00. It took me 20 months. I finally had enough to file bankruptcy and make a new start. Last Wednesday I lost the envelope containing the cash. On top of the at the end of May the rates for the hotel go up to 200 a night. My mother is beginning to think maybe we shouldn't be doing this now but know if we don't then we wont ever move forward. We have had the worst luck with bills, no home of our own, and our family has turned their backs on us with living with us and helping us out financially. I have no idea what to do anymore. This was bad because my sister and I work and go to college in New Jersey and my little sister goes to school there too so we were forced to drive back and forth every day. My mother works with the Board of ED in the city so it wasn't that bad. My cousins are truly terrible people for they non-stop pestered when we would be leaving and basically kicked us out a week before christmas because and I quote "they needed room to put up their tree". After we went back to New Jersey and stayed at a hotel in point pleasant which is where we are now. With much trying and hard work my mother fixed up her credit and we are now much closer to buying a house. We found the perfect one however we have no money for the initial 1,000 because we need to pay to stay at the hotel and my hours have been cut bad. On top of the at the end of May the rates for the hotel go up to 200 a night. My mother is beginning to think maybe we shouldn't be doing this now but know if we don't then we wont ever move forward. We have had the worst luck with bills, no home of our own, and our family has turned their backs on us with living with us and helping us out financially. I have no idea what to do anymore. Please I am in desperate need of help. I just need to give my family the lucky break we need in order to continue with whats right. Please help me with this, I beg of you. We have had too many people turn their backs on us, don't add to that list.

My name is Nick and my family is having an incredible amount of problems. In late august last year we lost our house. My father left us a few years ago so its me (19), my sister (20), my mother, and my little sister (8). For months after my family stayed at a Days Inn trying to get back on track but it was a failure. No matter what we did we couldn't get out of our slump. Because of this we were forced to move into our cousins house in Brooklyn in late October to help catch up.
