I’m a 21 year old college senior double majoring in English and Mass Communication, and I need help.

I have been living on my own for two years and working very hard (and struggling) to make it. I pay my own car note, insurance, tuition, and every other bill associated with my living expenses. This month, my rent is late and my apartment manager has already filed a notice for eviction. However, she said if I can have it paid before I’m served the papers, I won’t be evicted.

I have nowhere to go if evicted (besides my car). My friends and family are unable to help because they do not have the financial means to do so. I have pawned everything that the pawn shops will accept and sold everything that I can.

I still need a little over $700 to pay my rent and the late fee.

Even the smallest bit helps.

He works on the road and lives a double life, abusing me in front of our children everytime i catch him. Im not one to return evil or have intentions on hurting anyone back. I am a 26 year old married man who has recently become the head of a family. My baby girl was born on the 3rd of March, and I have been steadily looking for work for almost 3 months now. My 2 month financial cushion and emergency funds have been depleted, and my wife is unable to get work for another week because of her C-section complications (doctor's orders). We got an eviction notice today, and have no way to pay. I am a Commercial Diver (which double's as almost everything else, including carpenter, electrician, plumber, landscaper, fabricator, welder, etc.). If you have any type of work that needs to be done and that pays up front (I have until the 6th of April to pay rent), I will gladly do anything you need. Please please help. I had a double mastectomy 2 years ago and received 2 breast implants. However, the surgery caused a very serious infection throughout my entire body, and it almost killed me. The infection originated in my right implant,so they had to remove it.

So one fake breast is still there and one is missing. The area is flat and crinkled and ugly. My insurance company won't pay for reconstructive surgery because they say another breast is not "necessary."

I want to have a husband and family, but having only one breast looks and feels horrible. Please help me get the surgery I need so I can move ahead with my life.

I am a 48yo male. I have had a heart condition since i was 21. About 15 years ago I went for heart surgery and got a staph infection in my chest. I was in the hospital for months fighting this and was told I would not live. I am lucky to be alive 15 years later. However the staph damaged my heart. It enlarged it and over time I developed heart failure in 2004. Then I became diabetic in 2005. The staph also destroyed bone in my chest. I had to have my sternum removed. I also developed irregular heart beats leaving me dizzy most of the time. This left me disabled on Social Security and medicare. Before this I always work 60 to 100 hours a week. Which also contributed my poor health. In 2008 I had my second heart attack (a minor one). It was actually lucky for me. Doctor installed a defibrillator with pacing technology. My dizzy spells were finally under control. Since then I have been working hard to build strength so I can go back to work and have a normal productive life. My car .. 1996 Chevy Corsica is no longer road worthy. Now I have trouble making appointments to my Cardiologist, primary care Physician and physical therapy. This year i have missed 6 doctors appointments and had to stop all therapy. I also have trouble picking up medication on time so i got with out them sometimes up to a week. I didn't realize how important my car was until i couldn't use it. I get $1500/mo from Social Security. $96 of that goes toward medicare insurance premium. My rent is $500/mo. My medications are $400/mo and that is with prescription help. With out that help my meds are $1476. My utilities run $400/on average. The rest I spend on food, car insurance and medical bills. Other than socks and underwear I have not bought any clothes in 15 years ... nothing. I am asking for any help. Most important i need to get a car or fix my car which needs $2300 in repairs. Exhaust, brakes, bodywork and a windshield. If I have wheels I can finish getting back into shape and work to take care of everything else. If I get the help I need from here I PROMISE when I go back to work I will come back here and help people DOUBLE the amount of help I got. Unfortunately if I don't get help my health will go backwards. I will die within a year or two. I just starting gaining muscles back in my legs and arms I still have a long way to go. I need to get cardiac therapy to make my heart stronger. It isn't something I can do at home because I need to be monitored the whole time. Please help. Time is important I have already lost 5 months of therapy and my legs are getting weaker and i am getting weaker. I beg you. Please. But if prayers are all you can give I will appreciate that also. This is highly embarassing for me to "cyber beg." Begging seems like such an awful word, but here I am asking for donations of anything! I don't care if it's 0.25 cents or $1. Anything helps.

I'm a struggling graphic designer in need of a new desktop Machintosh. I'm aiming to raise $1300 to buy a new iMac computer so that I can start designing to complete my portfolio and start applying for work. My last computer failed on me during finals in school. Thanks to my school's computer lab, I was able to finish my work and graduate. That was back in NYC. I couldn't afford living there on my own and had to come to a smaller town to live with parents. I worked minimum wage retail to gain some money, but the physical stress forced me to stop working due to muscle weakness problem I have. A medical affliction caused by a tumor that has been affecting my energy and skeletal/muscle strength for about 7 years. It was hard getting through school with my condition. It was twice as hard having to work on my feet for hours in a retail environment.

Double my misfortune, I live in a place where jobs are hard to come by. A small town which has a lot of developing to do and jobs are far between. I need a car to travel to the nearest grocery store and can't depend on parents to transport me everywhere. This is why a job is so imperative. I'd like to feel fulfilled knowing I'm doing something for my future and earning money to buy my needs. I wish I had the equipment to start looking for work.

I want an iMac more than anything in the world. If I had my iMac, I could update my portfolio, do some online freelance work and help my parents with some bills. I could start applying for jobs from home and not have to rely on my neighbor's iPad to browse the internet. Whenever my family goes to the mall in the weekends, I pass by our local Apple store and I see people walking out of the store with large boxes containing their brand new iMac's, Macbook Pro's or expensive iPad's...and I get angry.

Yes, I know it sounds terrible and I know not everyone buying a computer is a rich business mogul or an overpampered kid whose parents can buy them whatever they want, and they never have to worry about whether they could afford it or not. But it hurts me to know I'm in such a position, that although I am an adult who should be paying her parent's bills, I can't even help myself because I'm unemployed. No thanks to my stupid weak body that can't take a lot of physical strain, no thanks to ending up in a town where I can't get anywhere without having to walk at least two miles, no thanks to not having my computer...

I know Mac's are expensive, but they are the industry standard in what I do. I would like a desktop because they are durable and longer lasting. Hope you read me, and hope even more that you will contribute. Too cut a long story (cue violin) short, I was made redundant for the first time in my life just before Christmas 2010, My wife then proceeded to divorce me - taking the kids, house and everything. To top it all, I have been losing my hearing since I was a kid, and have recently (summer 2011) have had a binaural (double) cochlea implant - which I hope will assist me in re-launching my life. I just need a few dollars/pounds/cents/pennies to help me get by until I get a job - nothing major, but enough to pay the bills/petrol. Most of the little income support I have is being swallowed up by bank charges, with the little remaining going on maintaining contact with the children, food and petrol. I would even appreciate a job if possible and am not fussy about what to do.

I am a single mom, with a disabled child. I was hit with a double surprise last month in the loss of 2 of our social security checks. I had intended to pay the past due water bill last month, but this situation threw a monkey wrench into an already precarious situation. According to social security, we lost the checks because my son turned 16. These agencies never pre-warn you, and if they even attempt to notify you, they send multiple conflicting information, which is not clear on what they are doing.
Because the water has been turned off, and the bill finalized, I now have to pay a total of 343 in order to have the service restored. The utilities company contacted my landlord, who has issued a 7 day notice to me because the lease says that I cannot have the utilities turned off for any reason.
I trust God, and I know He will come through for me somehow, because He's never failed me, but I am getting a bit concerned, as I have exhausted all options. God usually moves very strongly when that happens, so when I saw this site, I figured I'd try it, because you never know what direction He will move from.
The local assistance agency says they can see the loss of income that created this emergency, but want me to provide proof of income replacement in order to get the assistance; which I cannot yet do as I am still unemployed and seeking work.
It's amazing to me; the timing of this. After being forced to wait almost an entire year, due to lack of finances; to take my licensing exam and pay for my license to work, I chose to sacrifice a bit on the bill in order to do this, because I cannot work without the license. I did the right thing, and did not break the law in violating that rule, but waited until I could get my license to practice massage therapy. Now, I am facing the loss of our home. Even if I attempt to set up advertising, the arrangement will take more than 7 days to set up the deals and get the clientele in, and I won't get paid until the clientele have redeemed their deals. My license just arrived, and the doctor that was going to hire me, has "changed the direction of his business." So needless to say, my time is limited and I need some immediate help to remedy this situation. I appreciate your time and interest in reading this, and any assistance you can offer. God bless.

I have a partner of 9 years and 2 children aged 2 and 8 months. Last May my partner injured his back at work he got SSP for 6 months but now were on benefits. My partner is on pills every day not only for his back but also for his anxiety and depression, we desperately need a double wardobe for us and a single wardrobe for my 2 sons anything will help as my partner finds it hard to keep bending down to pick up clothes from the floor, anything would help towards us getting our clothes put away.

Because our nieghbors changed thier land zoning from agriculture to residential, which because we dont own enough land automatically changed our zoning so we got a 30 day notice to get rid of our home. forcing us to move into seperate homes staying with friends until we can get a double wide home to be legal on our land. my signifigant other, Melinda, has recently lost her job and has no insurance and 9 days ago fell down a flight of stairs breaking her pelvis, L-5 vertabrea, 3 ribs, tail bone, skull and orbital. she had surgery on her pelvis a week agoe, and cannot yet even stand. with no home to rehabilitate in and no insurance, it just seems like everything is crashing in around us. It is slow where i am working which with her not working and medical bills from my recent neck surgery piling up, and having to get another vehicle because ours finally kicked the bucket, its just to much. My family and I are in a crisis. I have one child, another on the way and my husband just lost his job. My father also lost his job, so my family can not help financially. My utility bills are due to be shut off, I have two very sick cats who dsperately need care and just dicovered last week I may have cervical cancer. I havetaken out loans and no one else will loan to me. The ones I do have are months behind on the payments and are threatening to take me to court for the collateral, which is my only vehicle and my mobile home. Please, somone if you can, help out. I'm about to be on the street with children and no way to shelter orfeed them. Anyone who can help WILL BE REPAID double as soon as I can get things lined back up. I have never done anything like this in my life before but times are hard and if it helps get my daughter her dream i am willing to give it a go. I am a 44 year old single disabled mum of the most beautiful 2 daughters. emma-louise who is 17 and sarah who is 16. I have numerous health problems one being cause by my ex over ten years ago hurting me so bad i ended up in a wheelchair for over a year. I am no longer in a wheelchair but struggle with daily pain. I have many other ailments but this isn't about me. My girls have had a lot to contend with i am ashamed to say i tried to commit suicide a few time over the last 6 years because of numerous problems i stupidly believed that my girls would be better off without me. However we pulled through together they both left school with amazing results 14 and 16 gcse,s respectively. I did my best throughout everything to make sure they did well at school. Then tragedy struck our family. My dad came to stay with me as he had become ill only 2 weeks earlier he was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer my girls went to a firework display with there dad i went to take my dad his favorite fish and chips i walked in the room and he had died i stood on the spot for what seemed like an eternity and was saying out loud omg omg omg. My girls new as soon as they walked in the door an were hysterical they loved there granddad an amazing musician. we arranged the funeral his jazz band were to be there me and my eldest brother ken and my dad were called the 3 amigos we were so close but my brother who was only 44 had been ill as well. it was the 5th of november 2007 that my dad died his funeral was to be for the following monday. Then early friday morning the 9th of november my phone rang it was my mum my brother had died in his sleep to say we were devestated is an understatement. we had to cancel my dads funeral and held a joint service for them both. our lives have never been the same. my eldest daughter emma has been offered a place at university but as a single disabled mum there is no way i can pay for her. she really wants to be a fashion designer and has made some amazing items a university has seen her potential but i cannot nearlly afford the fees etc. I would ask for anything at all pennies would even help. I have never done anything like this in my life before but times are hard and if it helps get my daughter her dream i am willing to give it a go. I am a 44 year old single disabled mum of the most beautiful 2 daughters. emma-louise who is 17 and sarah who is 16. I have numerous health problems one being cause by my ex over ten years ago hurting me so bad i ended up in a wheelchair for over a year. I am no longer in a wheelchair but struggle with daily pain. I have many other ailments but this isn't about me. My girls have had a lot to contend with i am ashamed to say i tried to commit suicide a few time over the last 6 years because of numerous problems i stupidly believed that my girls would be better off without me. However we pulled through together they both left school with amazing results 14 and 16 gcse,s respectively. I did my best throughout everything to make sure they did well at school. Then tragedy struck our family. My dad came to stay with me as he had become ill only 2 weeks earlier he was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer my girls went to a firework display with there dad i went to take my dad his favorite fish and chips i walked in the room and he had died i stood on the spot for what seemed like an eternity and was saying out loud omg omg omg. I am a 32 year old woman and i live with my 14 year old daughter and my 40 year old fiance of 12 years! We have always had money problems because whilst i have worked in retail, my fiance has had trouble finding a permanent full time job. I have been the breadwinner all of this time. We now have stable, permanent full time jobs and are working hard to pay off our debts that have been building up.

During the past 6 and a half years we had to downgrade our property and rent a small damp home in a rough part of town. The mould is getting increasingly worse and i have to de-mould the walls and windows every 3 weeks. The house smells damp and it is hard to retain the heat as there is no double glazing. The agency is aware of the problem but the landlord doesnt want to shell out any money to fix the cause of the mould/damp so has given us a dehumidifier!!
We are too embarrassed to invite friends or family over and likewise so is my daughter.

My fiance and i have been working to pay off all the debts that built up (£2,000 rent arrears £1,500 water rates, £500 council tax and a £1,500 electric bill). Thankfully we only owe £500 rent now and aim to pay this off by the end of may.

What we will struggle to do is save up a deposit for our next rented property. It will probably be about £1,000 for a months rent in advance and a deposit. We will get our deposit back from this house which is £380, and we will save as much as poss ourselves. We would all really like to move before summer as this house only has a tiny backyard and it doesn't even get any sunlight. The washing doesn't even dry out there!!
