Hi, I am a single mother of a 7 year old and a 9 year old. I was laid off of work in February when the company I worked for closed its doors. I receive unemployment but it is not near enough to cover bills. I have gotten extremely behind on my bills because my landlords have been very patient with me but I fear that their patience is running out as they have told me that if I can not get caught up soon than I will have to find somewhere to go. I fear that my children and I will end up on the street because I have no where to go. Please anything that you can help me with would be greatly appreciated.

My husband and I have been married for 30 years and have grown children. Most of our excess money goes toward helping them and the grandchildren. In the meantime our kitchen floor is almost falling through in three spots, our bathroom has mold all around the top of the walls and all our windows are completely molded. There is at least a half inch open space in our doors that allows cold/heat in so our electric bills are outrageous. We really need help in order to clear out the mold so ourselves and our grandchildren will hopefully not be affected.

My Mother is in hospital from last 7days with multiple fractures and injuries after sudden accident with a truck.

I don't know whether I am doing this right or wrong. I never thought situation would be like this.

I am NilotPal. I work in a small private firm and earn sufficient to live a happy life with my old parents, my wife and my 2yr old son. I used to spend all I earn to make them happy. My mind never said that someday such accidents may happen and I need huge money for that. I should have kept some money aside to handle such situations.
Seven days back a drunk truck driver hit my mother and ran away. I got some advance from my employer but that was not sufficient.
So after knocking all doors I am begging here.

Kindly somebody help me, please - even a small donation will help me a lot.

My wife and I have been married 49 years in May. We have always worked and are now living totally on Social Security. I will soon be 70 years old and my wife is 68.

We own our home(free and clear)and are not destitute, but we do need help.

We are both dissembled, My wife is on oxygen 24/7 and, due to nerve damage to both legs, I cannot walk or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. I manage to get around by hanging on to things.
As we get older there are some things that need to be taken care inside the house.

We have asked for help from our County to install new windows and doors that I have already purchased, and have had on hand for the last few years. I have checked with Habitat in our closest city and there is no help available in this part of rural America. The siding on the house is decaying badly and needs to be replaced. We also have siding and roof damage from a large storm here last spring.

We managed to get a kitchen remodel completed last year, by a handy man who owed me some money. This makes it much more accessible for my wife and I.

I have the tools and the know how, but my body wont cooperate.

I have never asked for help before, and have always been there for anyone that has needed help, but I am no longer able.

( The burglar was caught thankfully...but nothing returned!!).I find it very hard to ask for help as I have been very independant in my life but I am getting to the stage that I think I might have to sell my home to raise some money. I pray every night that something will change!

I am asking for help getting my son flying lessons. This is a dream of his since as far back as I can remember. He is a ggod kis and does well in school. We will never be able to aford to send him to college but if we could get him his aviation license, this will open doors he would never be able to walk through. HI, Last Aug my wife and son were coming home from local county fair and laughing and talking about the things that happened when i was hit by a drunk driver. Had serious injury to my left arm and was just back to work after being unemployed for year and half because my company closed its doors. i was 9 days shy of my 90 days and my work let me go because of missed days of work due to this accident. I cant tell you how hard this has been for my self and family. while on serious pain meds my wife was left to make desions for us and ended up pawning our wedding rings to get money.We have had a black cloud over us since last june since our home was broke in then my son broke his ankle,i was hit by drunk driver, wife fell down stairs in september surgry in november my truck took transimision leak, then recently took another leak in another location then trying to make 75.00 to help pay for the leak i was helping a friend get their snow blower when my truck slide on their ice in their driveway and i was thrown into a tree. I am currently employed, however I am not able to make my monthly financial obligations with my current salary. I need additional income or a better/different job.

I work for a wonderful retailer currently. Human Resources is what I have done in the past. 2 Years my company had to close their doors so my part-time job evolved into full-time. It's just not enough income to support my children and I.

My name is Tammy, I have a daughter at home and twins on the way. We use to live in a community for women and children only that were involved in sexual/physical abuse. My daughter was sexually abused by 3 men. We lived there for 8yrs and when I thought I was stable enough to move on we moved out! My 23yr old son passed away on Jan 7, 2011 after suffering for 2 long yrs and my 21yr old daughter just got back from Iraq and is looking for a place. Reason I am looking for a partner at this point, I am from Washington DC, in which I have a site call ok2bbi.com , I got up one night out of my sleep and said this is what I am going to do, open a clubhouse for Lesbian & Bisexual women, so I did my research in DC the results was great I mean these women want this clubhouse and was ready to signup, so at that time i went to look for retail space to host this clubhouse, but the retail down north was way out of my budget so the first thing I thought was do the test in Atlanta, and the results was even better then DC... so here I go again looking for retail space in Atlanta area, I did not want the heart of Atlanta so I did Norcross and the retail space was cut in half ... so I told Atlanta if I can get 100 of you signup I will have a clubhouse open for you on Nov 1st, which 200 signup and I had a clubhouse open for then Nov 5th .. so I kept my word ... once I open my doors no one was on the other side ... I was like what happen to my 200 members who signup ..lol no one came forward, I mean I invest my last into this clubhouse over $20,000 ... I( still believe in the clubhouse and not going to give up on it, just bad timing its the holiday season, right now I am up for anything to get this place occupied ... I had a guy who wanted to invest but when it came time to come to the table he said he had $20,000 to invest, but came time it was $20,000 worth of furniture ...lol ... its lots can be done with this place, I use to be in the porn business which I still own it, but its not much money in porn no more ... which I love the adult entertainment business ... I have never done anything like this before but I am desperate today. I lost my job due to the company went bankrupt. I lost my 401 k because the company went bankrupt it wasn't much but it was mine.I lost my medical for my family and have no job. The man across the street has cancer and can no longer do his yard so we help out there. Sometimes I make food for them and send it over. My mother said if you do good in this world and help others it will came back to you 10 times. So I ask of you to help us with anything you can so we can keep our home and stay and help my friends. I'm a firefighter in Texas with two kids and a wife going to school. In February, while forcible entry training(breaking down doors), I tore a ligament in my left wrist. Although workman’s comp was covering 75 percent of my pay, they were making those payments every three to 6 weeks. Unfortunately, during that time many of my payments for phone, utility, and even mortgage ran past due and accumulated a ridiculous amount of late fees.
I have been back to work for one month and have only barely started getting my bills together, but because I am so far behind we are still barely able to make minimum payments to avoid incurring any more late fees.
I just spent my last check entirely on our mortgage, to keep the water from getting shut off again, and on our car payments. The account is now negative. Now, we barely have enough cash for gas for myself to go to work and my wife to go to school (not to mention her brakes on her vehicle are way overdue to be replaced). My retired firefighter father offered to buy us groceries for the next 2 weeks, but due to his fixed income and his own personal medical bills, I have a hard time accepting his money, because he will be putting himself in a financial bind. Anything you can do to help alleviate the financial crisis we are in would help to make us stable enough to at least get my children gifts for this Christmas. This is my first time, so I really don't know if this will work, but I certainly hope it does because I have absolutely no other options. Thank you all so much.

Looking for donations for house repairs, heating and electric bills are outrageous. My roof is falling in and the doors are falling off. I am a single mother, I ha to give up my vehicle, I live 20 miles from the nearest job market. Lost my son in a accident in 2005, and the bills have taken me down. We didn't have insurance for funeral or accident bills. Fixing the other person's vehicle took everything auto insurance paid, we only had liability. I have lost my home, auto and everything else. I have 2 boys in high school and a daughter in college. I do work, but hours and pay are short. I would appreciate any help you have to give. Thanks for reading my beg. Badly in Need of Help

Hi, i have never really done anything like this before so here goes. I am 29 years old and have worked in the service industry most of my life as a cook. I have always said i was going to go back to school but i never really found the time since i have always worked 50+ hour weeks. For the last year work prospects have been dismal. You would think that service industry work is plentiful but i have been proven otherwise. Pretty much what brings me here now goes like this :
I had what i thought was a decent amount of money saved up after the restaurant i worked in closed its doors. When i had first started saving this it was originally intended to go into my college fund. After paying rent, car payment, phone bill, food, internet
along with some quality of life expenses i am down to my last 23 dollars. I have already either sold or am in the process of selling anything of value i have in my apartment (funny enough having a hard time doing that too only thing that sold quickly was my xbox 360 and my flat screen). Again, i don't know what to do. I keep doing the right thing. Looking for a job has become my job. I have tried to do everything i can to minimize my spending even down to eating one meal a day and walking to look for work (you would be surprised how after a while walking a few miles is preferable to paying 2.25 for a bus fare). As time is going by my clothing are starting to deteriorate and my shoes are worn on the outer heel of each to the point i can see my socks. I do have another pair of shoes but when you are looking for a job dress shoes i wore once at a wedding and damn near tattered jeans and super faded shirts doesn't sound like a good idea when you're trying to impress a potential employer.
I feel like i am just screwed now. Soon i wont be able to afford my cell phone payments (i need this to keep in touch for job prospects) and i am currently arranging to find somewhere to stay temporarily since i wont be able to afford my apartment anymore (makes me glad i had the forethought to pay a few months rent in advance while i still could). I don't have any family left and my 2 friends in the world and now ex girlfriend are having enough money problems of their own they couldn't help me if they wanted to. I am currently only eligible for foodshare and a reduced payment plan for my electricity. I have tried every state resource that is meant to help out people in my situation but aside from the foodshare and utilities assistance all i found was jaded city workers and disappointment.
Getting to the point i have nowhere else to turn for help aside from charity. I don't have money left and i am freaking out. I ran a laundry list of things that everybody needs and i cant afford simple things anymore like soap, shoes , toothpaste and clothing.
I am planning on getting what i need together and go to college since i don't want to be a cook for the rest of my life but i need some help. Anything that can be thrown towards my expenses so i can keep my head above water until i manage to find a job and pay for my high school transcripts to be translated so i can apply for financial aid and go to school (i am aware that college is not a solution to my situation but i can at least take that time to learn something new that i can apply to hopefully increasing my earning potential). I cant do this if i am homeless.
So please anything can help since its more than i make right now. I am scared and i honestly do not think i will fare well homeless in the streets. I don't want to end up homeless in the dead of winter.
