Huge Credit Card/Student Loan Debts

Posted by sportsvine on 2012-05-01 16:58:48

Hello there! I am husband and father in a household of 3. My baby boy is going to turn 1 year old on June 23rd, 2012. I have a job as a 4th grade teacher on an Indian Reservation in South Dakota. I have been married for 6 years now. I believe I make good financial choices. We do not use tobacco or drink. We have never been criminally fined. I do not own a shiny brand new car (our vehicles are 2001 Olds Alero and 1996 Dodge Dakota), or a huge house (we are renting a 3 bedroom house) I consider myself very hard working.

Yet, we are spiraling into more and more into debt with each passing month. Despite our modest living and good choices, we are on a path to bankruptcy. I will be forever grateful for any help my family may receive through this website. We have about $30,000 in credit card debt, $15,000 in student loans, and $3,000 in medical bills. If people become extremely generous to our situation, we will not accept more help than these debts. I also look forward to updating everyone about my (hopefully) dwindling debts through a facebook page I created specifically for this plea for help!

My facebook page created for updates of my financial situation is Chris Vhelp. I will accept friend requests so I can update everyone who is interested in how much I am being helped.

Thanks to everyone in advance!!!

Transmission Repair Biology Major

Posted by mjbeliever07 on 2012-01-22 20:58:35

My name is Marie and this appeal is for help to fix my 2003 Dodge. The transmission pump has gone out and now it needs to be rebuilt. The cheapest estimate I have got is 1,700. I'm a college student in my junior year and trying to finish up my last semester. It's tough not having transportation. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I must pay county taxes or I lose my driver's license!

Posted by nott2late4me on 2011-12-31 14:58:05

I owe delinquent county auto taxes in the amount of $184.00.
I moved last month and paid new rent, security deposit, electric company deposit, natural gas deposit, etc.
I have no extras-no cable, no internet, no house phone, and that I can deal with.
I DO have a good job and need to drive to work each day.
DMV will suspend my driver's license TONIGHT if I do not pay the past due county taxes for last 2010. HELP!!
I get paid in 2 weeks but must register my vehicle for 2012. The State of Virginia(and most states) will suspend my driving privileges if my past due personal property taxes are not paid.
I just spent my last $68.00 dollars replacing a front tire today on my 1994 Dodge Caravan.
Will you please help me?
My mailing address is P. O. Box 811, Mechanicsville, Va, 23111.
Happy New Year!!

Please!!!!!! I need to sell or payoff this car.

Posted by Raindrops on 2011-12-29 08:58:39

I simply need to pay off my car or sell it. $12,505.69.
It's a 2006 white Dodge charger. It's so dependable I hate to sell it but I will to avoid voluntary repossession. If someone will pay for my balance I will give them the title if they want. Or donate it as a way of saying thank you for the blessing. I will bless someone else. Which means a lot because I love this car and it means a lot to me.
I simply was naive enough to buy a car I can't afford. Living beyond my means. And I'm trying to do better. It's practically fully loaded. I've only to replace new fan motors and that was this year.
Please. I am serious and will get paperwork if you don't believe me.
I will give you my car if someone will help me. : (

Need money for car repairs

Posted by Spyke on 2011-12-15 20:58:59

Help! We got hit by a drunk driver on dec. 02. The guy that hit us had a BAC of .246, and ran a red light. We got 2700 for our car from insurance. WE are trying to repair and rebuild our credit ruined because of student loans so we had no wish or extra income to finance. We wound up getting a 1994 Ford Taurus wagon. They put a new engine in it that's going to be done friday, but it's still a 17 year old car that will probably need repairs. WE are on a tight budget, and we would appreciate being able to build a rainy day fund for the car so that we don't have to worry when something will go wrong. We're fairly good at fixing most things. Our last car was a 1996 Taurus and we fixed the brakes, rotors and calipers, replaced the battery and terminal wires, spark plugs and wires, changed all fluids, repaired hoses, and we were about to replace the catalytic converter on our own when we got hit. Previous cars we've worked with have taught us how to replace tires, radiators, water pumps and fuel pumps. We plan to maintain our new car in a similar way so that we can keep it for a couple hundred thousand miles. It's not just about keeping costs down, it's about keeping a serviceable car on the road and out of crowded landfills. It's about a car that you love through a long relationship, a vehicle that you understand every quirk. It was that way with my '96, and I just know it will be that way with my '94 With a rainy day fund I would feel much more secure when it comes to fixing the inevitable problems that come with a comfortable old lady like a 1994 taurus LX wagon. She is getting a new engine so the head gasket issues of the second generation Taurus's 3.8L essex are going to be mitigated if not eliminated for at least the next 100,000 miles, but the tranny and AC especially, followed by suspension, electrics, brakes, steering, pumps (fuel and water), and of course the routine tires, oil, wipers, brake pads, etc. are all possible future repairs. All the fun of having a car that you can't lightly trade in. Parts usually run $80 average if it's anything like the '96 in terms of maintenence, ommiting outliers like tranny and AC. Any help you can give would be appreciated. I know I'm starting to sound like Ray Stantz talking about the pile of 1959 caddy that became the ghostmobile.

Oh and also, I'm up to suggestions as to what I am going to name this car. So far we've had a 97 dodge stratus named Pearl, a 1994 Buick LeSabre named Einhander, and our last car was a 96 Taurus named Wyrd (after the goddess of Fate). Yeah I picked the name after the first 2 listed died in the same month and we scrapped both for this one. Ultimately totalled in a wreck with a drunk driver was a fitting end for such a car with such a name, but it still makes me sad, that much AMERICAN BUILT and ENGINEERED chicago assembled car with the 3.0 L vulcan engine, cast of iron in the forges of Ohio and not a single leak despite topping 153k. Only 145 HP but it got the job done beautifully and dependably. You just don't get cars like that in the new millenium. *sigh* i will miss my 3rd gen taurus. Every day i see a dozen of them being driven bearing the characteristic curves and oval rear window. Anyway. . .a rainy day fund would go a long way towards helping me to learn to love her older sister. Right now I'm thinking of calling her Providence.

Getting a divorce from habitual liar. HELP!

Posted by ThisFamilyNeedsHelp on 2011-12-06 13:58:11

Please help! 37 year old mother of a 5 yr old and a 12 yr old is getting a divorce from my habitual liar husband. I thought I married the man I would spend the rest of my life with, I had planned on only doing it once. I do not work right now. I was doing hair when we met and he wanted me to quit and stay home with our son until he started school. I saw that our relationship was heading downhill and not getting any better and decided I need to go back to school to finish my Bachelor degree in Business Management. I am hoping to finish up by July or October of next year, 2012. I want to open my own business so I can support my wonderful children and give them the things they need and some of the things they want. My 2 children and I, along with our 2 small dogs, had to move in with my mother, uncle, grandmother, and brother. We have been here for a year on Dec 10th and have been separated from my husband that long. He has given me very little money for support in the past year, spent all the tax return, took out a loan on my previously paid off vehicle and spent that money, and ended up getting me in trouble with a bad check to our previous landlord. We had a 2007 Dodge Ram Quad cab, I was primary on the loan, he was secondary, and he said he was trading it in for a Chevy Equinox, better gas mileage and cheaper payments. this was 3 months ago. I am now realizing, how can you trade in a vehicle when the other person on the loan never signed the papers? So now I have people calling me saying they are coming after me for the Dodge truck. I have no clue what I'm going to have to or be able to do on that.

He put a bunch of our stuff in storage when we separated, we moved to Missouri with my mom and he moved in with a friend in Iowa and then LOST it, so I don't have a lot of stuff I've worked for and had before we even met. The list of stuff he lost...5 seat sectional with chaise lounger, 37" flat screen tv, PS2 and about 12 games, Wii and 2 games, new surround sound, 5 disc stereo system, new bluray player, box of my season dvds like Smallville, Friends, One Tree Hill and ER, a huge box of my Disney VHS that I had been collecting since high school, nice new short entertainment center, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, washer and dryer, refrigerator, tall dining table with chairs, vacuum, electric can opener, butcher block knife set, corelware dishes, stainless steel pots and pan set, toaster, king bed, bookcase, desk, riding lawnmower, 2 weed eaters, etc. I probably could keep going.

I'm living on the good will and love my family offers and my small student loan refunds. I get NO child support. I am looking to pay off $15,000 in student loans, the $6200 loan on my Tahoe, the $1100 bad check and a couple hundred in lawyer fees, and the $1,400 Target Visa he ran up and let go bad. I need 4 new tires, an alignment, and a new windshield on the Tahoe. I would like to build my children and I a house in the next 3-4 years.

My goals...
~ Finish my BSBA in Management, end of 2012.
~ Thinking about getting my MBA.
~ Open my business, if you are interested I can tell you about it. Looking for potential investors. Working toward fall of 2012, may have to be fall of 2013.
~ Build my kids and I a house, which my mother will eventually come live with us. Right now she is taking care of my grandmother. If my business takes off like I foresee, I would like to build as I have the money so I don't have a mortgage, or put 50% down and get a loan for the rest.
~Be happy in life!

I am an honest Christian woman and I believe that the bills should be paid first BEFORE you go out and blow any money on luxuries such as eating out. He eats out a lot!

If you find it in your heart to help me out, please send me a note with how you would like for me to use the money, 3 choices as there will hopefully be others who can help me, and I can send you proof that that bill was paid. This is new to me and my first attempt at "cyberbegging", which has taken all I have. I am proud and have done many things on my own, so it is very humiliating for me to have to take this route.

I would assume your donation is tax deductible, but you will have to check on that.

If this works for me, I will give back and help out others who need it.

God Bless you and your family. Happy Holidays!

I don't like begging like this. I'm sooo embarrassed. We moved to a great new apartment 3 months ago. My husband has been without work for 2 years, well actually in and out of work. I have stayed by his side the whole time. We have 1 son named israel. He is 6. I had two jobs and was able to move my family out of the "hood". A neighbor got shot. We got a nice place then I lost a job. Everything went downhill. Our car is about to go out, its a dodge neon. I had saved enough to get us one, little did I know they sold us a flooded car. Should have known c,ause it was right after the hurricane. I got loans to help but now I'm trying to pay those. Which got me behind on rent. I can't give up. I need help rent is due on the 3rd. Please if anyone is reading can you spare anything? I'm sorry to beg. I'm holding my head up high. School starts soon and I don't want my son to miss a good school. If we don't pay rent we get evicted and have to move in a hotel which we would be considered homeless and I don't know if he can still go to the good school. Please anyone? Anne

Any help is welcomed. Needing transportation or Job please.

Hello, I'm Sherice. While I am a hard working young lady who is use to working for anything I or my family need, life throws unexpected changes sometimes.

two years I started going back to school, since the school was a bit ways from me I used what I had saved for my first paid for by me car. I found a great deal online and was able to talk the seller down to what I could afford at the time. I paid 6,000 cash and didn't have to worry about any notes.

One year later and it was gone, A flood came into TN and damaged more than we could handle. I'd only had the car one year. The insurance I had did not cover it and fema only gave us 7,000 for everything.

I'm still trying to bounce back, I had to put school on hold, and even now jobs are hard to come buy and me and my family are living pay check to paycheck. The only jobs that seem to call back are at the least an hour away and not on a bus route. So I searched online and found this site. I am asking that you please lend a helping hand to me to buy another car so I am able to go further away to look for employment and hopefully find something to help my family.

I've searched online and found another car like the one I had at the cheapest price I could find. It's a 2007 dodge caliber for 7500.

I'm also open to employment that will pay well enough so I can just work for the money.

currently I have a part time job as a phone clerk that pays min wage, but it only lets me work 10hrs a week. on top of that our water was recently cut off due to us trying to keep up with the light bill so we are now trying to get that back on as well.

Any help is welcomed. Needing transportation or Job please.

Please, anyone who will listen I am forced onto the streets in danger of rape and murder, because I am not safe in my 20 foot 1977 broken down Dodge motor home. I can't go to WEAVE, because they won't allow all my pets, my family will not take me in with them either, and any friends I had are too scared of the guy I'm running from to help me, or they have left me, because they could no longer watch me being destroyed by this person. I love my animal friends and am willing to crawl through the mud with them because they are all I have left in the world and the only ones who always love me, although I can see their sadness and disappointment every day. Please before it is too late for us all. I am Misty, they are Angel, Kona, Rover, Chunky, Mama, Buckwheat, and Baby the newest stray I could not find a home for and could not stand to let them be put down. I have even been willing to be admitted to a mental facility or thought about getting myself arrested by the police just to have a moments peace. I am going through physical, psychological, emotional, financial, abuse and sensory deprivation. I eat 15 days out of the month at the most every month, for 12 years now, to make sure my critters always have what they need first. I am in a dangerous neighborhood with no transportation, and my health has deteriorated to the point where constant pain is here, and death feels around the corner for me. I had a collapsed lung, from pollups, during my last job while simply walking to the restroom on my break, chest pains, constant head aches, asthma, allergies, panic attacks and clinical depression, I have applied for SSI, and SSA to get benefits but it is a slow, repeated process that is very difficult to get if you are 37 years old and appear okay to someone who isn't really looking or looking deep enough. I have no medical, or dental, and need both critically. I also need flea, ear mite, and tapeworm medication for my pets. I just need a boost to get away, and start the healing process for us all. I'm not looking to be rich, or greedy just out of this very toxic, and destructive environment, and want very much to build a life for us all by getting healthy, possibly going back to school and definitely, work. I do have dreams, goals , and invention ideas, but no opportunity in this captive, unhealthy, oppressive situation. I wish to be a mom (to humans)if still possible, and truly in love someday, and desire mostly to be a good, kind person to others. I am willing to show our (critters and my) progress to whoever willing to help so you know helping me is not in vain or a waste, to your mental and emotional satisfaction. And will hopefully be able to eventually give back in return someday, the sooner the better. This help would save our lives, salvage our love and health , future and happiness, and the love and appreciation, I can already pay you back for right now. Honorably and respectively, and non-shamefully that is, or I would have tried less dignified things by now. I grew up with an alcoholic step dad, which, possibly, set me up, unknowingly, for the situation I am in now. This is not an excuse, but it is the truth, that I, apparently, was not strong or smart enough, or had opportunity, to overcome the result of that. Regardless, of fault, I feel guilty and regretful, and so so sorry for not. Please give me a chance, and WHEN successful, very hopefully, I will spend my whole life giving others a chance at a good life, as well. Thank You, so much for taking the time even to just care enough to read this. Please, please, PLEASE? And, HOPEFULLY, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Love always, Misty and furry family. My husband has exhausted his unemployment benefits I am the only one employed. We onw a 1995 Dodge PU and a 2000 Grand Caravan my van needs a new transmission but we cannot afford it my husband drops me off at work I work about 10 miles away from home i bring my lunch and stay in then he picks me up at the end of the day we have 2 school age children which at times makes it hard for us to all go together any where we can't ride 4 in a truck. I need help either with a used vehicle or cash donations to be able to fix my transmission then i would not have to rely or beg for rides. Please someone help.

Dear Friend:

My name is Barbie Nemeth.

We are writing to you on behalf of our up and coming not-for-profit “no-kill” animal rescue. Serving greater Savannah, Chatham, Liberty, Long & Effingham Counties.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate cats and dogs that are on the high kill list for euthanasia, treating their illness if any and placing homeless animals into safe and loving homes, and not toward administrative costs.

Our family and dear friends Hess Putnam, Amanda Scearce & Lindsey Mlekush “co-founders” have been donating food, time, medical supplies, underground fencing, blankets , pillows, tarp everything you can imagine a helpless animal needs to numerous rescues throughout Georgia for quite some time now.
We are always looking for the best way we can help these helpless animals.

After some excited brainstorming we came up with the idea to open our own “not for profit” no kill rescue. Hence the name “Kandi Boo Rescue” came about.

As of right now I am driving a 2006 Dodge Caravan which I cannot transport animals in, the traveling pet carriers are too large to fit into a mid size van.

We would like to ask you to get involved and donate a beater truck for transportation to these high kill animal shelters to our local veterinarians that are donating their services to help heal these animals so they can be re-homed to loving families.

There are also times that we have to transport an animal to a foster family in the event the center is full to capacity.

We rely solely on donations, “no cash donations”, hence the need to go directly to the source for the donations that we need.

As this is a “not for profit” rescue center your donation would be 100% tax deductable.

Thank you for your time we hope to hear from you in the near future.

Please contact Barbie Nemeth at 912-224-9543 or reply to this email.
God Bless

Here it goes, my wifes parents where living in Washington State in there RV a 1972 dodge that was falling apart. The winter was approaching so being a good samaritan I spent 1000 dollars + going up and bringing them down to live with us in Oregon. They have been living with me my wife and our kids for the last 9 months. They are having a real hard time in this economy as arnt we all trying to save money to buy a newer RV to live in. I have started a fund to try and generate some money to buy them an RV. They are good folks that are down on there luck, There both in there 50's her mother has social security and has real bad health issues and he spends a lot of time taking care of her. If you all want to help them out please donate anything you can to Paypal ackerman1969@gmail.com God Bless you! My guarantee to you is that 100% of all donated money will go to my wifes parents to get an RV and be able to live on there own again.
