Post a Beg Now!

SOS!!!!! Save our Sanity!!!

Posted by samiam on 2012-04-05 15:58:59

This is extremely new to me.I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would have to humble myself and beg for financial assistance for my Fiance' and I. We have had a constant streak of unfortunate occurences in our life. He was laid off his job a month ago. Then suddenly last week I was terminated by my job. We have lost our only vehicle which is on the border of reposession. We have been utilizing public transportation which can become unreliable to get to potential job interviews. Our rent is due next week which will be facing eviction due to lack of funds. Our utility bill is overdue and we have several disconnection notices. We have had to pawn our electrical devices such as our Television, computer and even my engagement ring which was forfeited due to non-payment. We have turned to governmental agencies and churches but the funds were always limited.
We currently have no income coming in at this time. I may have a new job but it will be too late for this month's bills and we can end up literally in the streets or in a shelter, We have no family to turn to. If you could find it in your heart to assist us financially to get us back on our feet with whatever donation you choose we will be most Grateful.....

Please Find it in you to help us !

I found this site and am in a desperate situation- I am in the process of filing for disability and am unable to work. My husband lost his job the week before Thanksgiving- he has numerous resumes and applications sent out but no phone calls. He has applied for unemployment but still has not been approved or denied. We had to get help for the past 2 months from family and friends to just pay bills, however our family and friends are limited with the help they are able to give.We had to apply for food stamps and did get approved but since we dont have children at home we are not eligible for any kind of state financial help. We have rent due now and utilities within 3 days and only have $7.50 LITERALLY in the bank- we truly need a blessing and a financial breakthrough to get us through this time. The total amount of rent and utilities is about $1000.00 or we will have eviction notice and disconnection notices. but we would greatly appreciate any and all help offered.I understand that you probably receive many letters asking for assistance so if you decline my request for help.-Thank you for your time and consideration.-God Bless you all..(Please no scams- i truly need help and would prefer use of Pay Pal if at all possible)

Short of blowing my brains out, I feel as though there is no light at the
end of the tunnel. I never could have envisioned being in the current
situation that I find myself in. Let me explain...My wife and I have been
married for 20 years and are raising 2 kids, a boy and a girl, both
teenagers. We always thought we were doing a good job at parenting...you
know, instilling laughter and family, morals and virtue, dignity and self

worth, etc. We just reached our 50's and were looking forward to possibly
traveling and spending some time together once the kids left the nest.
However, all that came to a screeching halt last year when our daughter
informed us that she was with child.(She was only 15 at the time!) KABOOOOM!
Talk about devastation. To add insult to injury, the young man and his
family went so far as to deny acknowledgement of the baby for the first six

months of his life, and to this date, (he's 10 months old) have not
contributed a dime to the babies welfare. To compound the injury, I was laid
off from work three months after his birth.
Needless to say, it has taken a tremendous toll on me and my wife. We have
exhausted our savings on rent, car payments, car insurance, utility bills,

medical bills, diapers, formula etc. We can barely buy food. There are days
I don't eat, just so the rest of the family can. I don't sleep much, between
looking for work and taking care of my grandson, (he is a blessing in
disguise. He gives me the strength I need to keep going. I put him to sleep
humming Amazing Grace) I find that I am experiencing intestinal pain as well
as severe migraines at times. I think I'll chalk it up to depression and
stress.

I've served my country proudly, and was honorably discharged...a few medals,
some ribbons, presidential letters of appreciation and so forth, but when I
asked for any type of assistance from the government I get denied because I
made a few dollars more than the threshold.

It gets better...the house we were renting was sold and we were given 2
weeks to move, we robbed from Peter to pay Paul to get into our current
residence. Now we find that we may have to move again by the beginning of
the new year, which at this time is impossible to do on our own. Needless to
say, Santa won't be making any house calls this year. (Although I will do
whatever it takes to make sure my grandson has a 1st Christmas.)

All of our bills are past due, due for disconnection or have been

disconnected. There is just no way we can do it by ourselves anymore. This
is by far the hardest and most embarrassing thing I've had to do in my life
and I'm not proud of it...however, as the song says "I ain't too proud to
beg". We need desperately for a miracle to keep from being homeless. Please
help us.
They say when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Unfortunately, I ran
out of sugar. Please help us. God Bless!

as severe migraines at times.

God Bless!

I put him to sleep

as severe migraines at times. I think I'll chalk it up to depression and

Please help a family in need!

Posted by familyhelp1973 on 2011-11-25 18:58:08

God bless you for even taking the time to read this. I am a single mom with 4 kids. I am barely able to put food on the table to take care of my kids. I work 2 jobs and still I am constantly getting phone calls from bill collectors and getting disconnection notices from the light company and water company. I am 2 months behind on the rent and 2 months behind on my car note. It will not be too much longer I will be forced out of my house and my car taken away (that means no way to work, then what am I going to do?) Please help with whatever you can!!!!

family crisis

Posted by susannahg on 2011-10-31 02:58:19

Hello to all the kind-hearted, generous Begslist Donors. I am here asking for help with my family crisis. I have been out of work for just over a year, with many, many unsuccessful applications. I am a single mother of a beautiful son. I am a visual artist with a Fine Arts degree. I hope to pursue post-graduate studies in the near future. I am a hard worker and am determined to find work. 4 weeks ago I broke my ankle and had to have surgery. I am recovering well, though it has been difficult. As a consequence of not working for a year, my financial situation is utterly dire. I am seriously behind in all my amenities bills with disconnection pending notices, and every 2nd week this past year, there is virtually no food in my fridge or pantry, which causes much distress and anxiety for my son and I. My washing machine is dying and I have no means to replace it. We are so worn down by this and my broken ankle was like the last straw! I would be forever grateful to anyone who assists me by donating. I am an honest, responsible, resourceful and frugal person. Many thanks.

Mother of 3 young kids...DESPERATELY NEEDS HELP PLEASE!!!!

Posted by mommyof3babies on 2011-09-27 17:58:04

I don't know where to turn to but I am a mother of 3 young children (ages 4, 3 and about to be 2 years old). My husband has just left me and I have been looking for work but it has been hard because I have not worked since 2006 when I got pregnant with our first child. My oldest is also autistic and does not understand why Daddy is no longer at home with us. My husband left me with all of our bills unpaid and he also took our vehicle. The water was shut off this morning and today I received a disconnection notice for the electric bill. I am going to apply for assistance through welfare tomorrow but I am desperate and not sure what I am going to do because we will be homeless if I cannot get assistance immediately. I am out of diapers, wipes, bath wash and I am about to run out of food. I have no friends and no family around to help me. I have tried borrowing money off my family back east but they are not in a position to help me. Can someone please offer and advice/help or direct me to the right place please??? Thank you.

Hi! So..I guess there comes a time when I need to swallow my pride (coming from someone very independent this is difficult). I'm a single mom of 2 kids and have a job, although, my grandmother had heart valve replacement surgery and my father broke a vertebrae in his back recently which caused me to put off paying my gas and electric bill as they live 2 hours away and I used the money for gas back and forth several times instead. Now the disconnect notices came and I can't put it off anymore. We live paycheck to paycheck so I can't come up with the money to avoid disconnection. The gas wouldn't be as hard to let go since it's getting warmer out but I will not give my kids cold baths so I'm asking for someone to help us. Even if it's just $5..we will be thankful for anything. I always help people out in need and hoping my good deeds will return to me now that I am in need. The total amount I need is $307 which will avoid disconnection for both the electric and gas. Thanks so much for reading this! God bless!
