I'm 27 years old and I take care of my very sick mother, 6 kids, and myself when I can. We currently have no lights. Our lights were turned off Friday due to someone stealing my identity in the past and running up a high light bill and they even stole power. I'm now being forced to pay for the bill. I know your wondering how they can do that. Let me explain: power was in
my mothers name, then they found out my name was on the lease when we signed a special form cause my mother is on oxygen. At that point they said pay it or we will disconnect. I do not have any savings left or even a credit card to use. Plead help me ... I don't know what else to do but to swallow my pride and beg. If UT wws

Hi. Thanks for reading this. I am 27 and u a 16 month old little boy. I moved into a new place and new state in September. I work part time. Unfortunately the heating system they put in my apartment isn't economicly feasible. In the last few months my heating bill is now close to 800 and they are coming to disconnect it. I've been trying to save up some money to move back home but not having a full time I can't. If anyone could please help put in any way I would be truely grateful.

I moved out of state about six years ago. Ever since I left, my family has been financially and emotionally struggling. I typically send them $750 a month. Since October of 2011, I haven't been able to send even $20.
I came out here for school, which I can no longer afford. I have two jobs that don't pay me nearly as much as they should for the work that I do for the companies. I work from midnight to five at night, every weekday. The income is barely enough to pay my rent, utilties, medical bills, and buy food for myself...now my nephew is coming to live with me. When I visited my family over the holidays, they commented on how much weight I had lost--that I look good. Little do they know, I'm losing weight because I can't afford to eat on top of bills.
I just received a notice of disconnect from my gas company, my electric bill is two months overdue, my landlord is constantly on my doorstep, the collection agencies are constantly ringing my phone. I don't know what to do. I can't live like this, I can't support myself, I can't support my nephew. Please help my family if you can. Thank you and God bless.

I live in a household of 8 people. We have a disconnect notice for December 1st, of 2011. The bill is over $1200. We will be able to pay about $500 on the bill on the first of December, but that is not enough. If we could get some help paying this, my one year old daughter's life wont be disrupted by this.

Please help us.

I'm truly embarrased to be in need as I have always tried to hold my own. However, I have recently divorced and my ex husband has truly made life difficult for me and our 5 kids. He kicked us out of our home, moved away with his girlfriend and her kids and now has stopped all support. With all of our court dates we had to attend and my oldest daughter being diagnosed with a liver tumor and treatments in another city, I lost my job. Now I am receiving disconnect notices and have nowhere to turn. I'm scared and alone in this. I have applied at so many places and yet not one call back once they find out I am a mother of so many children. I'm scared when he finds out I am having financial difficulties that he will try and take custody of my babies. Right now my bills are stacking up and I am approximately in need of $500+ to catch up my bills and avoid disconnect. I feel I have let my kids down. Please donate and help me. I've never been on this side of the fence. I have always helped others in need. I understand God doesn't give us more than we can handle and is beside me at all times. One of seven children, I am the youngest and the leader of the pack. I have been the one to provide for and help my other siblings but where do I go when I need help. I have provided shelter for many of them but in doing so have fallen very behind on bills. My utility bills have arrived this month with a "Final disconnect" disclosure and I am having a hard time to make ends meet. Now I find myself here to ask for help and not be publicly embarrassed to ask nor to have my siblings know what's going on. I ask anyone to help me financially privately for me to keep my sanity. Dear friends, today I am in desperate need of help. I have no other options and am really hoping that someone will give a look at my story and will consider helping in any way they can.

I am currently deployed, before deployment I ran into a few problems with backed up loans and credit card debts. A couple of these organizations notified my Commander; now the military is taking a good amount of my paycheck and forcing me to pay off these debts. This leaves me with net pay of around $500.00 per month. With this my wife cannot pay all the bills or take our kids out for nice times. Lucky housing is free but we had to disconnect phone and internet. This is my first deployment and I’m so stressed not knowing what the future brings.

I’ve tried getting help from the military but they need to stick strictly to their regulations. I have had classes on how to live with less but right now I cannot live at all until I know my family will be ok. I’m so depressed wishing I could go home to give a hug and let them know all will be ok.

I am in need of some extra money to help me with bills. I am a single mom who is trying to get an education in school. I do work but my hours have been cut down due to the economy. Please help me. I have received a gas and electric disconnect notice and have to chose between power or food. I just need a little extra help. I ususally don't beg because I am very good at fiquring out how to make ends meet, but I feel like I have tryed everything and I don't know what else to do. I feel desperate.

right now things are better Im just about to be threatened disconnect of my electric.
I owe 219 by the 16th and dont know how to do it. I have a home with all electric so that means no cooking laundry etc. If some one is willing to help I will pay it back. I will also provide the method of payment straight to the electric company,

Hi everyone. At this point I'm unemployed for a DUI charge I got last year and I haven't been able to find a job since November. I take responsibility for the charge and I know it is my fault, but it's the first time I have ever been arrested for anything, and it's ruining my life. I'm on probation so I have to pay for my court fees this Thursday or I will go to jail for violation of probation. I don't even have any food to eat. My light bill is past due 2 months and is now $563.09. I called them and asked if I could pay half now to keep them on but they told me I must pay the full balance by June 1 or they will disconnect me regardless. I also have to pay my cable bill which is 170$ that includes the internet and phone which gives me the ability to job search online and receive calls through my home phone. The light bill is the priority for me though, I will go out and ride my bicycle to find jobs, but I still don't have enough money to pay it. I'm most likely going to be evicted on the 1st because I can't pay the rent, but I would at least like to keep the lights on so I have a minute chance of finding a job. I will accept any donations, $1, whatever you can generously donate. I am really desperate. I usually hate to ask people for anything, but I guess I am above pride at this point. Hi! So..I guess there comes a time when I need to swallow my pride (coming from someone very independent this is difficult). I'm a single mom of 2 kids and have a job, although, my grandmother had heart valve replacement surgery and my father broke a vertebrae in his back recently which caused me to put off paying my gas and electric bill as they live 2 hours away and I used the money for gas back and forth several times instead. Now the disconnect notices came and I can't put it off anymore. We live paycheck to paycheck so I can't come up with the money to avoid disconnection. The gas wouldn't be as hard to let go since it's getting warmer out but I will not give my kids cold baths so I'm asking for someone to help us. Even if it's just $5..we will be thankful for anything. I always help people out in need and hoping my good deeds will return to me now that I am in need. The total amount I need is $307 which will avoid disconnection for both the electric and gas. Thanks so much for reading this! God bless!

Hi I am a Single Mom of two Wonderful Boys ages 8 and 10.My 8 year old has severe asthma and is on a breathing machine.I just received a disconnect notice on my Electric/Heating bill today.It is due for shut off on Jan.17th.I have no way to come up with the money by then.I receive Social Security myself,and My ex refuses to pay child support and I am really struggling right now.I don't like asking people for help because I have always stood on my own 2 feet.A friend of mine told me about this site and at this point I am really desperate.It's still Cold outside and I heart with electric.And my son HAS to have his breathing machine and again runs on electric.Without my electric so much can go wrong.I have tried my family and was told no.I even tried to work something out with the electric company and that did not work either.Please can some one please help us!!!

I just lost my job. I used to work in nursing, but due to the construction that is taking place, cost had to be cut. I was fired, with a promise that when construction is done I can have my job back in a year. I'm 52 years old, I'm raising my grandchildren, 2 boys, 5 and 7, there mother is in prison for drug offense. I tried to look for work, at another nursing home, McDonald s, and hospitals. Its been a couple of months now, and I'm still jobless. I think they see me as too old. I have received disconnect from the power company, I got to the end of week, then its lights out. I also know that the eviction notice is not too far off. I'm done, I have no family other then my grandbabies and a locked up daughter. I really need some help. I am begging you, please help me

I am the mother of five boys my husband is unemployed and looking for work, i am in nursing school with only 3 months left till graduation we are on the verge of loosing everything internet will be shut off the 30th for non payment cable will be shut of the 17th for non paymeent but i dont care about those things we have no propane and i am ok with that i mean i heat water for things needed but electric i cannot do without i will not be able to cook and the summer is getting hotter and hotter with it soaring to 100 degrees i cannot keep my kids in a house without electric please for my kids ages 13 12 9 8 and 3 i can verify this bill please can you help me disconnect is the 20th have contacted churches and everywhere i dont know what to do no one has any funds please help me
