Hi. My family really needs help. We are a family of 5 living in San Ramon, CA.

In January of 2011 both my wife and I lost our jobs. We have been working to make ends meet ever since. Last year was the beginning of our misfortune. After losing our jobs we spend months looking. Then in June we were evicted from the home we lived in for 3 years -- financial problems. We moved into a hotel where we lived for a month looking a new place to live. Living in a small room with a 17, 13, and 2 year old was tough.

In additon to living in the hotel my wife and I found out we were pregnant. However, the pregnancy turned out to be ectopic. No insurance and an ectopic pregnancy to get through. It wiped out our savings.

We finally found a place at the end of July. We used the last of our money to get rent the place. My wife started working towards the end of August. She didn't make enough to support us, but she was working. Now, I just needed to find a job.

After a few months of looking I decided to start my own business. It is tough, but it also has potential. I have a limited marketing budget so growth is small.

Next up, my wife got pneumonia and was out of work for nearly a month. This killed us. we fell behind on rent and cannot catch up. We havent paid rent since January. We owe rent for February and March. Total -- $6100. And we have April coming up. We would love to stay in our home but it looks impossible. I understand the owners dilemma and am happy we got to stay this long.

We are looking for some catch up. Anything would help, anything at all.

We have tried various community agencies, but my wife makes a too much (the standards are set very low) or since we live in San Ramon agencies do not serve that area.

We thought about moving, but with 2 out of 3 kids in school it would be extremely difficult to uproot them.

We got our 3 day eviction notice today. We need to be out of our home by Monday at noon unless we can pay rent. If we cant we need to find a new place to live.

My family is falling apart. My friends dont have the resources to help (well I did have one friend pay Decembers rent for us but he cannot help anymore until he builds back some savings). My parents and my wifes parents are not able to help (fixed incomes and no savings).

Desperately seeking help, I am a disabled older gentleman (50's) on a limited income. Who through much searching has found the Love of my life. However circumstances beyond our control are keeping us apart, since she too has a limited income. I am trying to raise the money required for her to get to me, but the process is slow & prices just keep
going up & up.
It is seldom that a person finds someone who is so similar, & so much of what they were looking for.
As most do not find their true Soul-mate, & I hope against all odds that I will be united with mine.

This is my first endeavor into cyber begging or what ever they call it. As I was looking at the sites and stories I realized my dilemma is quite small compared to others. I am almost embarrassed to write it but here goes. I am currently homeless, staying in a shelter with a bone disease in my right leg. It is not fatal but it sure does present a not being able to support myself situation. The future while it looks better is still bleak on the money front. My bone disease is not going away for ten years they tell me. That’s it I can not work, I am horrendous medical shape, I am out of funds, I would really appreciate help. I am 27yrs old and have just came off a life support machine I have several illnesses and due to being critically ill I lost my home andd possessions after not being able to afford the rent me and my child who's only7yrs and my carer have been given a 3 bed house with adaptions as I'm disabled I live in the uk and can't get help from no where as I'm out of work since being critically ill the housing team have said I have to move in in 3 wks time but I have no money to floor it and as I'm so ill and have a child social services have said if I don't move in there considering taking court proceedings to look into removing my child, I have a carer but I need appliances to keep my medication that keeps me alive in,and flooring which is £1000 throughout my landlord said if its not all done in 3 wks I will lose the house and we will be homeless.It is not my fault I'm critically ill and I can't risk being homeless affinity as I know I will die I'm so poorly if anyone can help me raise £2000 so I can can provide me and my child a stable home and not end up homeless even if it's small donations please get in touch and I can provide proof of critical Heath and the dilemma I'm in this is my last hope. I am do depressed through this it's having affect on my physical and mental Heath im so scared. I've just made lots of bad decisions and I'd love a chance to start afresh without letting my parents know how much debt I've racked up as I know they will never trust me again if they do and we already don't have the best relationship.

I have not received my degree as a result and charges have been added to what I owed since then and finally my University sent the debt to the state's revenue department for collection and they've added their own fees. Things have really come to a head now because I am actually an international student and after spending the past couple years in mostly unpaid internships because I have no certificate to show employers and being unable to work other jobs that do not require a degree because it's illegal with my status, my visa has expired and I have to leave the country in a couple weeks and I don't have the degree I came to the US to get.
With the little payments I've been able to make subtracted, I now owe $11633. I know that that is a great deal of money especially as I've racked up other debts that takes the money I'll need to truly get out of all trouble to about $15000. But I really have nothing at all right now and any amount of money at all will help, $5, $100, anything.
And though I know paying back $15000 will take years for me to do if anyone has that to spare, I would want to do that for my own peace of mind. But it's obvious that anyone willing to lend me that with no security and just my intention to finally get out of this rut, get a good job and pay back over a period that will hopefully not exceed 5 years will probably be someone who can comfortably give away that amount but respects my need to eventually pay it all back through paypal probably from another part of the world.

I need help more than ever now. My landlord just gave me an eviction notice last night because I'm two months behind on the rent. I have a storage unit in Vista, CA with what little I own in there and I just got a call Sunday that everything in my unit is going to be auctioned off Oct. 15th if I don't get that rent up to date. I owe about $400 on that. Because of my breast cancer and other medical problems I applied for State Disability, which I've been turned down twice for. Last week I had a hearing in San Diego and lost. I guess I'm not disabled enough in their eyes. I'm looking for a job as a Bookkeeper or Administrative Asst. but the unemployment rate in CA if now over 12%. If there is anything you can do to help it would be greatly appreciated. God bless you.

I've been going through breast cancer for the last 15 months. Although I'm now cancer free, the aftermath, the pain, the numbness, humility of having only one breast is worse than when I was going through chemo. At least at that time I was getting some help from a cancer organization based out of Orange County, but they serve San Diego County also. I'm a 58 single woman with no husband, no kids and no one to take care of me but myself. Although I'm emotionally ready to work only part time right now, I was recently hired and working 15 hours a week…. Not much. It’s not enough to pay my rent, put gas in my old van, let alone go out to dinner or a movie with a friend. My resume is on craigslist and I have a great deal of administrative and bookkeeping experience. I have about $2 to my name, my rent is past due and I have no money for gas. My cell phone needs a "Straight Talk” phone card every 30 days I purchase at Wal-mart (which is $45). I'm not getting any help from any organization, I’ve been turned down three times for disability and I can’t apply anymore. I don't know where to turn. I drive a 16 year old van with a transmission that is failing and it cost $90 to fill the tank. I don't want to be homeless again. My rent is $700 a month and I have none of it. I’m now two months behind. The landlord has already given me an eviction notice and I like where I live. I was told God would take care of me. I pray a lot but I feel my prayers fall on deaf ears. I don't know who to turn to or how to ask for help so I’m just putting it out there. Can anyone help me please? I you know of any organizations or individual who are able to help without being strapped themselves, that would be greatly appreciated. Even if several churches helped me with $125 to $150 each (Paid to the landlord, not me, a gas card or Wal-Mart card) that would solve my immediate dilemma. Please feel free to call or email me. I have a dilemma with finances. At the moment I am attending college full time, and my girlfriend lives in the Philippines. She is my first and only love, and I was hoping to visit her next summer. Sadly, after an exhaustive effort to find a summer job, I have come back empty-handed. So far I have saved up $450, but I figure I will need about $1,500-2,000 to visit her (along with the much greater expense of getting her here after). I love her so much, and I'm so worried about her situation there. I really want to get her here with me as soon as possible. She told me that she believes God will find a way for us to be together, and I believe God's will flows through people(which is why I'm looking for generous individuals). What i will say is this. I am a 28 year old male that lives in Texas. I am a hard working man that is taking care of his sister and her baby, my 4 year old nephew. Up until the past couple weeks i have held a decent job, but was unable to save any money. With the rising gas prices, a minimum round trip of 90 miles a day and food for 4, the 1400 a month i made at my job was just barely enough to keep up. The 4th person was my brother, he recently volunteered to move in with a friend of his to help out. My sister and I do not have this luxury. So the 2 of us are about to starve/become homeless, if something doesn't go our way soon. The reason for the dilemma is 2 weeks ago (April 15th) I lost my job. I have 2 pay checks to survive on until i find a job, which rent($550) is due on the 1st and the utility bill($150) is overdue. I we have a total of $730 with no source of income, family members are in tight situations, the job market for our skills is seemingly filled and we don't know where to turn. We live 10 miles from the closest city we both only have about an 1/8 of a tank of gas, neither of us have car insurance anymore as they have lapsed, and only my sister has a phone now (paygo phone with 3$ left on it *3 days of use max*). I don't know where to turn. I normally have a few months of living cost saved up but with such a small paycheck supporting 4 people i was unable to do so.

I'm not even asking for money exactly, and even though it would be GREAT, a job would be BETTER! I'm willing to do anything! NO SHAME! If any of you have anything you need done online I might be able to do it! If you live near or in the east side of Dallas(we live outside of the metro area by about 30 miles)I'm willing to keep your yard up, wash your car, pick up trash, clean horse stalls, build a deck, build cabinets, dance around to humor and entertain... It really doesn't matter to me at all what it could be. But if not, money is the next best thing. FOOD!!! Food would be a HUGE help! Heck, I would work for food! (Unlike those people you see at intersections).

If you are able to help us at all with anything it would be greatly appreciated! The things we need are Food, Rent, utilities, gas, phone and internet too as it would aid in job seeking. Neither of us have outstanding debit or owe anyone money. P.S. We have applied for food stamps and aid, but as we are not state residents we are unsure if we will get the assistance we need.

I am a 19 year old young woman, with a very good head on my shoulders. My mother kicked me out when I was 14, which forced me to couch surf throughout the years. I met my father when I was 17 for the first and last time. Though all my moving around made highschool very difficult to attend, I am happy to say I got my high school diploma. Currently I am living with a friend, who is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I plan to attend college in the fall of 2011 for nursing. I have been looking very hard for a job, and will continue to look until I find one. My only dilemma is ; I dont have a vehicle. Im not looking to get an Escalade or something ridiculous. I am 53 years old businessman from tiny island of Sri Lanka. I started my business in 2007 after retiring from a leading solid rubber manufacturing company (Trelleborg Lanka PVT LTD Swedish own company) where I worked as the manager procurement for good 13 years. I am B.Sc graduate and diploma holder of rubber and plastic product manufacturing.

At the beginning my business, natural rubber processing industry was a success. I even renovated whole plant which was more than 50 years old and purchased two trucks to transport raw materials and finished goods to and from my facility. My trouble started in latter part of 2008 due to global economic down turn. Prices of our finished product, processed natural rubber ( Brown crepe ) declined rapidly in a space of few days thereby incurring heavy losses. Somehow I did managed to dragged my business till 31st march 2009 despite heavy losses. I provided 55 direct employment for very poor peasants in rubber growing area in Sri Lanka.

Due to heavy debt and pressure from my creditors I had to close down the factory and sold it out at very low price to settle my workers dues and some debt. I even had to handed over my vehicles to leasing company due to my failure to settle due installments in time

Ultimately I ended up with Rs. 8.5 million loss ( Approximately US$. 85,000) . Now I lost whole my earning for past years. Some of my creditors filed court cases against me. Some are putting pressure on me to settle their dues. They even posing death threats . I have been mentally and physically abused by my creditors everyday since closer of my plant. Police at the complain of my creditors may arrest me for default. Now I am in dilemma. I need police protection for safety of my life from death threats. At the same time police want me to settle my creditors debt as some cheque issued to creditors were dishonored.

I do not have any saving except my provident fund. After toiling hard for last 30 years, I earned around 3.5 million rupees ( approximately US$. 35,000) . At maturity, when I turn 55 it will be Rs. 4 million. I will get around Rs. 1.5 million as inheritance after selling of my parent properties (House where I live now. My share is 1/6 of the total value). Those wealth can be accessible only after another two years.

As I do not have fixed income nowadays, I am unable to overcome my difficulties without help of charity or donation. Legal expenses and my medical expenses aggravate my misery. My life now totally depend on sympathy of my age old friends. One provide shelter and the others provide meals. Now I am like a beggar although do not beg on the roadside.

I wrote several letter to relevant government organizations for compensation or bailout package, but nobody looked at it as government in short of money for that kind of compensations. I wrote to parliamentary ombudsman as well. All were in vein. Local red cross society replied to my request saying that they do not have mandate to give financial help to individual although my case is worthwhile to be considered.

Although I have taken all the insurance covers needed for our industry, like workmen compensation, fire. Flood, storm and tempest , burglary, personal accident, consequence lost cover could not be obtained due to nature of our industry. I put forward claim for US$. 75,000 but was not entertained due to nature of our industry.

I am looking for a help to settle my debt and restart a business. I can offer my EPF and inheritance as security. But those would be matured only after 2 years. House can be sold out only after flood situation due to unplanned development is permanently arrested by local government in our area. Otherwise a buyer can not be found. Our family and dear friends “Lindsey Mlekush” & Amanda Hein have been donating food, time, medical supplies, under ground fencing, blankets , pillows, tarp everything you can imagine a helpless animal needs to numerous rescues throughout Georgia for quite sometime now. We are always looking for the best way we can help these helpless animals.

After some excited brainstorming we came up with the idea to open our own not for profit rescue. Hence the name “Kandi Boo Rescue” came about.

Please allow me to offer some background into what inspired us to open Kandi Boo Animal Rescue.

We were informed, through corroborated stories of animal rescue volunteers of many unspoken tragedies that were suffered by the less fortunate animals at the local humane society. Notwithstanding the tireless endeavors and good intentions of the animal shelter, the fact remains that these facilities are unable to handle the increasingly heavy caseload of animals that are being rescued, abandoned or
relinquished every month - and unfortunately, the only option that many of these animals face is euthanasia.

After being made aware of the heartbreaking plight of these homeless animals, we feel
committed to do something to assist these no-kill animal rescue organizations, which are committed not only to educating the public about the issues of animal overpopulation, and offering of spay and neuter services to help address this problem, but also to finding foster or permanent homes for homeless animals, in lieu of euthanizing them. Our goal is to help defray some of their ongoing rescue-related costs: e.g., imminent medical care, food, sheltering, and follow-up vet visits (which include prescription costs).

Over the past few weeks, the media has given coverage to the heartbreaking plight of homeless animals – people are abandoning them left and right as they struggle to make ends meet.



The situation has become acute, and although taking measures to help
control the overpopulation of animals is important (through spay & neuter programs), our hearts lie with alleviating some of the current suffering of those animals already born that are unable to help themselves.

As a frequent donor to numerous charitable causes myself, I am sensitive to the fact that during this time of economic recession, it is most important to reach out and lend a hand to those less fortunate than myself, including the animals.
I myself own 4 former rescue dogs, Lindsey owns 2 former rescues and Amanda fosters animals from other No Kill Rescue Centers until they get adopted into their forever home.

Our last former “rescue”, who came to us, a very sweet, but timid guy, who rarely wagged his tail, and was too shy to display much affection. Now – “Sebastian” “referred to as “Mr. Wiggles” by some of his female fans) - is the estate’s ambassador of love, and a huge hit with our guests – especially the children.

It would be wonderful to offer a second chance at happiness to many more of these helpless animals who want nothing more but to be part of a loving home.

And so the dilemma begins.

We lease a 3 bedroom home on a very nice property…however the owner of the property will not give us permission to build kennels for the animals in the high kill facilities. And we are not in a position to buy a home as all of our extra income goes to care for these animals.

That is where you come in, we are graciously asking if you can donate a 3 bedroom mobile home and possibly a spot of land in the greater Savannah, GA area.
Either or is great, but if you could donate both we could get started allot faster in the building process.

Everything we receive is through donations, we don’t ask for cash donations in any way, shape or form. Materials for building the kennels, dog food Veterinarian vouchers for animals that need medical attention so on and so forth.

Once we are up and running with the rescue we plan to incorparate Autistic children as well as children with other handicaps into our program.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate cats and dogs that are on the high kill list for euthanasia, treating their illness if any and placing homeless animals into safe and loving homes, and not toward administrative costs.

Our family and dear friends “Lindsey Mlekush” & Amanda Hein have been donating food, time, medical supplies, under ground fencing, blankets , pillows, tarp everything you can imagine a helpless animal needs to numerous rescues throughout Georgia for quite sometime now. We are always looking for the best way we can help these helpless animals.

After some excited brainstorming we came up with the idea to open our own not for profit rescue. Hence the name “Kandi Boo Rescue” came about.

Please allow me to offer some background into what inspired us to open Kandi Boo Animal Rescue.

We were informed, through corroborated stories of animal rescue volunteers of many unspoken tragedies that were suffered by the less fortunate animals at the local humane society. Notwithstanding the tireless endeavors and good intentions of the animal shelter, the fact remains that these facilities are unable to handle the increasingly heavy caseload of animals that are being rescued, abandoned or
relinquished every month - and unfortunately, the only option that many of these animals face is euthanasia.

After being made aware of the heartbreaking plight of these homeless animals, we feel
committed to do something to assist these no-kill animal rescue organizations, which are committed not only to educating the public about the issues of animal overpopulation, and offering of spay and neuter services to help address this problem, but also to finding foster or permanent homes for homeless animals, in lieu of euthanizing them. Our goal is to help defray some of their ongoing rescue-related costs: e.g., imminent medical care, food, sheltering, and follow-up vet visits (which include prescription costs).

Over the past few weeks, the media has given coverage to the heartbreaking plight of homeless animals – people are abandoning them left and right as they struggle to make ends meet.



The situation has become acute, and although taking measures to help
control the overpopulation of animals is important (through spay & neuter programs), our hearts lie with alleviating some of the current suffering of those animals already born that are unable to help themselves.

As a frequent donor to numerous charitable causes myself, I am sensitive to the fact that during this time of economic recession, it is most important to reach out and lend a hand to those less fortunate than myself, including the animals.
I myself own 4 former rescue dogs, Lindsey owns 2 former rescues and Amanda fosters animals from other No Kill Rescue Centers until they get adopted into their forever home.

Our last former “rescue”, who came to us, a very sweet, but timid guy, who rarely wagged his tail, and was too shy to display much affection. Now – “Sebastian” “referred to as “Mr. Wiggles” by some of his female fans) - is the estate’s ambassador of love, and a huge hit with our guests – especially the children.

It would be wonderful to offer a second chance at happiness to many more of these helpless animals who want nothing more but to be part of a loving home.

And so the dilemma begins.

We lease a 3 bedroom home on a very nice property…however the owner of the property will not give us permission to build kennels for the animals in the high kill facilities. And we are not in a position to buy a home as all of our extra income goes to care for these animals.

That is where you come in, we are graciously asking if you can donate a 3 bedroom mobile home and possibly a spot of land in the greater Savannah, GA area.
Either or is great, but if you could donate both we could get started allot faster in the building process.

Everything we receive is through donations, we don’t ask for cash donations in any way, shape or form. Materials for building the kennels, dog food Veterinarian vouchers for animals that need medical attention so on and so forth.
