Post a Beg Now!

I was robbed by a man I was in love with

Posted by Joeluv on 2012-03-12 21:58:48

I was in love with a man. After 10 years of hard work I had saved up $22000,enough to put a deposit on a house. My partner had asked me to marry him and told me that he owned a house in the UK where he was from. He was over on a visa. He lost his job and I lent him about $7000 because he said that he was going to sell his house(and pay me back)in the UK and he would come back we would marry. Later when it came time for him to return to the UK to sell the house he told me that he needed $15000 to pay for back taxes that he owed on the house(before he would be able to sell it. which I gave him. He never returned and he cut all contact. Any help would be appreciated. I am heartbroken and destitute. I have an 8yr old child and I feel very stupid but I was so blinded by my love for him. Thank-you for your time and bless you for any help you may be able to offer.

Could be homeless soon!

Posted by CountryGal8096 on 2012-02-25 21:58:38

I am in a desperate situation and could be out on the streets if help isn't found. I started getting sick in April of last year and didn't know what was wrong with me. After being hospitalized in June I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. I was again hospitalized in July. I became very ill in October with severe symptoms and nearly committed suicide, but was saved by the help of a friend and having a good doctor. Due to illness I was unable to be productive at work and lost my job in November. I am now stable on meds and am ready to work. I will begin my new job on March 5th, but I am so behind on rent and most likely will not be able to start paying a significant amount of past due rent until well after the eviction process has started. I'm scared I have nowhere to go but a homeless shelter and the curfew conflicts with my new job. My sister shares my apartment but is unable to pay my half of the rent. We are destitute at this point...our gas is being shut off Thursday unless we can find an agency to help us. We were awarded food stamps, but it takes 7-10 days to get the card and we are surviving on what my dad can get, local food banks, and begging my ex for what limited help he can give. I will be working soon like I said, I'm not lazy, I got sick which I did not choose. Any help is appreciated. Thank you and God Bless!

IN NEED OF EVERYTHING!!!!

Hi, I have been a single mum for 12 years. I was made redundant 6 years ago and since then things havent improved. I have 2 jobs which just about pay the bills. We are not destitute, I struggle to pay the mortgage and bills but thank god we have a roof over our heads. I'm in desperate need of a new car (the tyres are costing more than the car is worth!) so that I can get to work to earn the money to pay the bills...!!! I dont want a new car or a porsche just a decent runabout to get me to work and back and to be able to take my daughter to singing lessons, that's all she wants to do is sing! Thank god we have our health (just) but life is tough, I know it is for lots of people now. Thanks for reading this and hope you can help us.

Dissabled couple, married 49 years, and need some help.

Posted by willway on 2012-01-27 19:58:49

My wife and I have been married 49 years in May. We have always worked and are now living totally on Social Security. I will soon be 70 years old and my wife is 68.

We own our home(free and clear)and are not destitute, but we do need help.

We are both dissembled, My wife is on oxygen 24/7 and, due to nerve damage to both legs, I cannot walk or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. I manage to get around by hanging on to things.
As we get older there are some things that need to be taken care inside the house.

We have asked for help from our County to install new windows and doors that I have already purchased, and have had on hand for the last few years. I have checked with Habitat in our closest city and there is no help available in this part of rural America. The siding on the house is decaying badly and needs to be replaced. We also have siding and roof damage from a large storm here last spring.

We managed to get a kitchen remodel completed last year, by a handy man who owed me some money. This makes it much more accessible for my wife and I.

I have the tools and the know how, but my body wont cooperate.

I have never asked for help before, and have always been there for anyone that has needed help, but I am no longer able.

Thanks for reading this old mans long winded beg.

Truck Fire Surviver

Posted by truckfiresurviver on 2011-11-16 09:58:55

Hello. I am a commercial driver in need of financial help. My situation is 100% verifiable. On 9/20/11 I was driving a tractor trailer in Lamar, Pa, delivering a load to New Jersey when my truck caught on fire. To escape certain death I had to jump out of the burning truck, sustaining injuries in the process. A few minutes later the truck exploded and was incinerated. There was no driver error. Everybody who hears my story tells me that I'm lucky to be alive. However, Ive been out of work ever since. I do have legal representation in a workers comp case pending in Pa. My lawyer informed me that it may take up to a year before I start receiving workers comp benefits because my employer failed to have workers comp coverage while operating his business in Pa. I have absolutely no income. I lost my home and is now staying with a relative, sleeping on his couch. My car was towed due to expired tags. My bill to get my car out of the tow yard is now $2500 and rising daily. If I dont get my car out I will lose it in less than two weeks. I'm in serious pain daily from my injuries but cant get medical treatment because I dont have medical insurance and is forced to wait until I begin receiving workers comp benefits before I can get medical treatment. I applied for and was denied public assistance because I have only joint, and not full, custody of my 6 year old daughter. Even though NC Dept Of Social Services sympathized with what happened to me they told me that nc dss policy dont allow a parent with only joint custody of his child to get public assistance despite the fact that the nature of my occupation (over the road commercial transportation)prohibits me from having full custody of my child. I cant work until I receive treatment for my injuries. I dont know what else to do for money while waiting for my workers comp case to go through.I currently cant even provide food for myself and my daughter. Everyday I'm sinking deeper and deeper into destitution, anxiety and depression.I am sincerely hoping that somebody will read my story on Begslist and decide to help me. I am a hard working American citizen that, through no fault of my own, was involved in an on the job incident that left me injured, homeless, carless and destitute. I need help.Again, my situation is 100% verifiable. If you have any questions please call 980-345-7601 and ask for Wayne. Any and all help you can provide me will be truly appreciated.

Lost Job Trying to Get Back on Feet

Posted by Struggling1 on 2011-10-12 00:58:06

About a year and a half ago I lost my job and have been trying to get back on my feet ever since. I do currently have a job but nowhere near what I lost. I am barely eeking by, but I am not concerned for myself but more for my young daughter and my wife. We are not destitute and there are definitely more needy folks but we are struggling. Thank you for any help.

Despiracy at it's worst

Posted by Cke1234 on 2011-08-30 09:58:50

I'm at a point where I have absolutely no idea what to do. I know that I'm not the only person who is in a fix these days, but if there is ANYONE who can help me, I'd be forever thankful !!!

Ive tried everything I can possibly think of to try to come up with the money that I need for rent. I'm $400 short and I have two days to come up with it. :(

I've been looking online daily for odd jobs that I can do, but every ad I've found is either way too far for me to get to, or doesn't email me back. I'd have no problem selling my stuff... If only I had anything of value.

I do work, but like many struggling Canadians I don't make a whole lot of money. $10.25 an hour is pretty hard to survive on. It's pretty depressing when you work, and at the end of the week you have absolutely nothing to show for it.

I really don't know if anyone will actually see this.. Or if there is anyone who can actually help me...

If youre in the same situation as I am, let me just say I totally understand... And I hope that you get the help that you need. Nobody deserves to be destitute.

Renew my teeth so I can get a job

Posted by normsdental on 2011-07-01 19:58:43

I need to renew my teeth so I can get a job. No - not the reason you are thinking!!!..... I was always a candy-and-soft-drink kind of guy from my earliest childhood in the 40's. The sugar ruined my teeth over a period of many decades. For all those years I kept ahead of the damage because I paid out extraordinary amounts on dental care, year after year, and everything seemed "normal".... I don't drink or smoke or use drugs of any kind. Now I am "sorta retired", trying to live on Social Security at age 68. I tried to "live thrifty", but gradually almost all of the old dental work failed and I lost almost a majority of my teeth, especially all of the uppers in the front - the "interview teeth" ! ! ! ! . I can barely live on the tiny amount I get from "SS" plus pay sky-high regulated-monopoly prices for dental work, so I am living in my car in pain. I am just about to go out panhandling in San Francisco to do SOMETHING! and today I saw this site. Can anybody help me? I can't get a job with my teeth ruined like they are now. I still have maybe half of my teeth and half of the rest are broken rotting stubs, some actively lapsing into toothaches every few days. The remainder are outright missing. All my fault from childhood onwards, I am sure you are saying.....All too true, but I am asking anyway. Please help with anything you can. I have lots of dormant "mainframe" computer skills and internet abilities. I also lots of more-customary regular-job skills, but I am destitute in S.F. with routine monthly expenses - especially with storing the last of my possessions. I can't upgrade my situation unless I have some good-enough teeth that I can go out on a job interview. Also I need to pull the recurring toothache teeth. Thank you in advance for helping me renew my diminishing life-prospects...... Once I get a good job I can definitely pay the rest myself, but I do need some help to get started!

HELP!!!

Posted by kimbirdy on 2011-06-22 12:58:47

Please help! Both my husband and myself were out of work for nearly 3 yrs. We lived off our unemployment and savings until once again thankfully finding jobs. Now my husband has lost his new job due to down sizing. We are in serious desperate need of money to pay bills. We are very near to losing our home and car. Most times, we do not have enough food to eat. Our luck has been down hill for so long now that there is no way out except for a financial miracle to pull us out. My paycheck each week does not even cover the bills. I suffer from a condition called fibromyalgia which causes widespread muscle pain and fatigue and working makes it worse at times. I have had this condition for nearly 18 years, but still struggle to try to make it, even though the pain is getting worse and I don't know if I'll be able to work much longer. I am 51 yrs old and have had this since I was 32. My husband had a crush injury to his leg 5 yrs ago and him finding a job where his leg not swelling up by standing or sitting too long is going to be a nightmare also. We are so behind and about to lose everything. MY whole life has been such a struggle with constant illnesses and other setbacks. But I try to keep holding on. This is the worst it has ever been. I am really on the brink of losing my faith in life! Please help us or we will soon be homeless and destitute!

Donate to help me while I help others - Cloudsourced Caring

Cloudsourced Caring

Hello, my name is Matt, and I am in a financial bind that I do not wish to continue to be in. Rather than just post requests asking for personal help, I have created Cloudsourced Caring to use the power of the web to help others, while others help me.

Seventy Five cents of every dollar given to Cloudsourced Caring will be given at the end of each month to a charity or needy family suggested in emails from donors. The remaining 25 cents will go to me and my family to help address our financial situation. Once my financial situation is addressed 100% of the donations will be given to charities and needy families.

I have chosen the name Cloudsourced Caring, because cloudsourcing is a way of getting information from a large group of people on the web. I believe that this same group, by using the power of the web, can turn a little help from a lot of people, into a lot of help for people desperately in need.

Now that I have explained my plans for Cloudsourced Caring, I will tell you about the necessity that is the mother of this invention. As I mentioned before my name is Matt. I am 36 years old and married to a beautiful woman and have two wonderful sons.

These facts are the happy side of my life. The unhappy side of my life comes from the burdensome debt load I have become buried under. I have approximately $50,000 in personal debt to family members, approximately the same amount to creditors other than my mortgage, and close to $5,000 in past due medical bills. Due to this, I am behind on most of my bills including my mortgage and utilities. Circumstances beyond my control as well as quite a few unwise decisions over the last 15 years have put me in this position.

In addition to all this my family is sacrificing to make ourselves better by working to get my currently unemployed wife a long overdue college degree.

As I have a roof over my head and am not as destitute as others out there, I could not ethically go out and just beg for assistance, and have chosen to assist others in the process of solving my problems.

So with all that I have said considered, I thank you in advance for your donation to Cloudsourced Caring. And remember if you send us an email as well as a donation, you will see how much of your money has helped my family each month, and how much has been donated to a charity that helps others in need.

I believe that when the world has been kind enough to help you, you must do everything you can to help it. So in addition to asking for your assistance, I am going to put a challenge to the web as a whole. Send in your $1, $5, $10, $50, and so on donations as quickly as possible. I think we can see $500,000 in donations by the end of 2010, which would erase my family’s previously mentioned problems as well provide $375,000 to help others in need. And in addition, I think we can see $1 million in donations by next August. Picture how much that can help the needy families out there. If celebrities can have of a million followers on twitter, we can have a million one dollar donations in a year.

Thanks for listening,

Matt

23 year old Raising $800 to become Independant!

Posted by Tissue on 2010-07-30 02:58:58

Hi, I'm Chris, I am 23, an employed college student & I live in southern California.

I am currently living in the Irvine area w/my family. My family is poor to the point of being destitute. I literally do not eat breakfast or lunch since we either do not have food or the food is of such low quality it will make me physically ill to eat it. I buy & only drink distilled water from a local market because it is the only clean source of water available due to contaminants in the public water system as well as the public water is mostly unfiltered reclaimed runoff water.

Educationally I am currently a student that wishes to study culinary arts but is forced to learn networking protocols due to lack of funding. Culinary schools are a specialty school which require a lot of money to attend. I am training for my CCNA+Linux Admin Certs at a local community college.

My first job was to a physician doing medical claims billing part time. This position had me mostly behind a terminal looking at a blinking monitor keeping track of patient records. Starting $8/hr end 9.50/hr. After leaving due to hours being cutback I got a temp job for a company collecting on medical leins. That didn't work out, so a couple months later got a job as a part of the Technical services dept at UCI medical center. Due to having a personal falling out with my parents at the time I was supposed to be hired, I was kicked out. Unable to go to the interview without a car I missed the opportunity until several months later when the position was needed to be filled again. At this point the project that the position was for had already been completed & the final checks were being done. The position only lasted 3 weeks. $15/hr for doing desktop support @ UCI medical center.

After working at UCI a "friend" of mine whom I've known since freshman year of high school told me he could get me a job at his work. Of course after several months of hearing nothing back I realize its just more of the So-cal area bullshit I am so used to.

Since then I have been hired as a model. The agency is setup so that the company accepts models which the models pay into a certain amount ($30) for the service of being sent information on potential upcoming modeling jobs(underwear ads, online catalog modeling etc).

Throughout all of this I've never made enough money to live independently from family financial support due to the unreasonably high cost of living in this area. $800 - $1200 to rent an APARTMENT. $500 - $900 to rent a SINGLE ROOM, NO GUESTS/GF. This amount may or many not include utilities.

The point of the post is to get help. Help by getting donations to help me start a home business in the style of the cottage industry. I have a small business opportunity I could start with $800-$1000 investment that would start me off on the path to independence. Through this I would be selling a specialized product which should net me an income of 3k per month which would allow me to reinvest into the business & provide me with financial independence until I am able to attend a nice Culinary University.

My dream is to be able to attend a nice cooking school & learn to be a skilled Chef.

Donation link at the top!
tl;dr = 23 year old starting a business with an $800 start up cost. Looking for donations to reach my goal.

(Current job only pays bills which leaves no money to save/invest.)

For some reason the site wont accept the E-mail from paypal donation button so I put a link.

Thank for for any donations, I will start my business asap and help those in need when I stabilize.
