I simply need to pay off my car or sell it. $12,505.69.
It's a 2006 white Dodge charger. It's so dependable I hate to sell it but I will to avoid voluntary repossession. If someone will pay for my balance I will give them the title if they want. Or donate it as a way of saying thank you for the blessing. I will bless someone else. Which means a lot because I love this car and it means a lot to me.
I simply was naive enough to buy a car I can't afford. Living beyond my means. And I'm trying to do better. It's practically fully loaded. I've only to replace new fan motors and that was this year.
Please. I am serious and will get paperwork if you don't believe me.
I will give you my car if someone will help me. : (

I canât believe my life has come to this. First and foremost, it is important to know that I am a hardworking, responsible individual. I love going to work every day as a child and family therapist knowing that I have the ability to help make positive changes in othersâ lives. I also, for whatever reason, feel very uncomfortable asking for help. I donât think I have ever asked anyone for financial help in my life, let alone a âdonationâ. I was always taught that if you want somethingâ¦. YOU WORK FOR IT! I have had a job since I was 13 yrs old and it taught me to appreciate the value of the dollar and hard work. But what happens when you physically canât? My values speak to who I was, who I am and who I want to be and why I am worthy of your help.
⢠Be respectful, giving, loving and kind to others.
⢠Treat others as you would want to be treated.
⢠First and foremost dedication to my family and friends
⢠If you want something, you have to work for it because nothing in life is free
⢠Work hard and you can achieve anything you set your mind to
⢠If you believe in something, be passionate about it
⢠Love what you do for work â Life is too short
⢠Do not be selfish, but selfless â be there or give to others as much as you can
Resilient for many years âstruggling through a childhood of undiagnosed ADHD - low self esteem, disruptive and impulsive behaviors, poor attention, disorganization, ambivalence about making life decisions, flunking out of college my freshman yr at 18 yo (which led to me having to pay any subsequent schooling on my own), moving and attending a new school at the beginning of my 8th grade year with a scoliosis brace that had to be worn 23 hours a day, having major surgery at 14 yo and missing 3 months of my freshman yr. As an adult, moving from NJ to Ma away from my family who I was extremely close to due to a marriage that didnât work, losing my father to cancer and watching him waste away in front of me and feeling helpless. I did return to school as an adult committed to helping others and figuring out my own insecurities. Over 7 yrs (25-32 yrs old) received my bachelors degree from Rutgers University with high honors and my masters in clinical social work from Columbia University also with honors.
I know what I am capable of and I know how much I have to give to others. But at this point in my life, I also need to be honest with myself about my physical limitations.
When I was 12 yo I was diagnosed with a severe case of scoliosis and had to wear a body brace for 1 ½ yrs. Bad timing, I guess⦠I had just moved and was starting my 8th grade yr in a new school. Two yrs later (1983) I had major reconstructive surgery (14 hours, in a body cast 6 mos, couldnât ride in a car or sit for more than 15 mins a day for 3 mos) and my spine was fused from T3 to L4 â all at 14 yo! Over the years, my back problems were just âpart of my lifeâ. Now at 43 I am disabled and in need of another major surgery due to collapsed discs that are compressing the nerves in my lower back. The pain I endure is affecting my ability to sit, stand or walk to any period of time. I had to leave my last job as an outpatient therapist a couple of years ago due to my inability to commit to a schedule because of my pain. I have been taking pain pills, which I do not want to become addicted to and have worked out an arrangement with a caring chiropractor. Not to mention at work I have kids, teens and their families who depend on me to help them, some of who I donât charge because they canât afford it. So, my schedule is minimal, my bills are racking up and I continue to try to help people sometimes at my own expense (physical). I have no health insurance because I canât afford it, I live in a 800 square foot apartment that I share and I drive a 1998 Nissan Maxima that has over 200,000 miles on it! I donât have âthingsâ because I donât NEED material things. It kills me to ask for help, especially monetary. Itâs hard for me to accept help but I have no problem giving, lending or helping other people. My friends say that I give âtoo muchâ, but I feel that if I have it to give or I can do something to help someone else be happier, less stressed or more comfortable than I will. And Iâve been taken advantage of many times because of this â for example, 3 yrs ago, I lent a co-worker $5000 to assure that as a single mother she would have a dependable car for her and her 3 kids. She has not paid me anything yet. Gave another friend my car for 2 weeks to use because her car was in the shop and she couldnât afford a rental. It was definitely an inconvenience, having to walk to and from work a mile, having to way to run errands until the weekend, etc. But I did it because I knew how much it meant to her and how much it helped. I then find myself thinking ⦠who will be my angel when I need one?? And I doâ¦. Please, please help!! I donât have a choice right now. I need surgery, physical therapy/personal training in order to continue working for others. Thank you so much for any contribution you can make! God Bless!
College Loans: $60,000
Surgery: $250,000
Credit card debt $40,000 over last 8 yrs to support me at times when couldnât work
Physical Therapy $2,000

Wow⦠thatâs hard to see⦠: ( Feel like Iâm on the verge of a nervous breakdown!! Please be my angel

Employment Sought: Clerical Support, Or ?
Posted by solo1 on 2011-08-26 22:58:04
Hi- I was laid off at the end of 2009, and I am seeking employment. I am currently living in the Twin Cities area, but am open to relocation.
I key 50 wpm, am familiar with HIPAA, medical terminology, general office equipment, customer care, call center, busy phones, electronic records and using various software to perform job duties, including Word, Excel and Access.
I would consider other types of work, as well. I take the bus, but I am dependable. Perhaps I could work in exchange for a studio? I am open to any and all (legal and appropriate only) ideas.

Family of 5 about to be homeless
Posted by sasharocks on 2011-08-11 08:58:14
My family has recently fallen on hard times. I have been trying to go through the application process for disability (SSI) for the last 9 months and am unable to work. My husband has been unemployed since last November when he was layed off from his job and has had no luck in finding a job. His unemployment benefits barely cover our monthly expenses, but have been our only saving grace. Unfortunately, they are just about exhausted and we are facing some even more difficult times. To top it all off, we are currently in litigation with our current landlord due to unacceptable living conditions in the home we rent from him. We have 3 children ages 8, 7 and the youngest is only 10th months old. We have tried to find help everywhere we can in order to better our situation, but it just seems there is no help to be found. My husband has a ton of job skills and is very dependable, if anyone knows of any type of construction jobs, or anything dealing with computers, we would be most grateful! I truly hope that there is some way we can find help here so that my husband and I can save our family from these desperately poor circumstances. Thank-you so much for reading. Amanda R.
Need help to move, go to school and start a new life.
Posted by nc2tone on 2011-07-28 09:58:03
Well where do i start. I am 27 and am trying to move cross country. I was working very hard to get by (I currently live in an affluent collage town called Chapel Hill.) and trying to save up to move. I was doing pretty good, got enough to get a dependable car after not having motorized transportation for like 5 years and was saving the moving costs to get to California where I have a job waiting for me(till October)when I got laid off by the university. Now im in a bind because I really hate it here.It is to expensive to live and the only jobs around barley pay enough to get by and thats with food stamps so you cant save money, have a decent paying job in a much cheaper place to live in way north California but cant afford to get out there.(catch 22 cause if i was there id be making enough to make the trip no problem.) I want to get there because the living situation is cheaper and with the job id have id be able to go back to school and try to do something with my life besides work in fast food (want to be a history teacher). Please anything helps and if you include an address Ill write you a thank you card.
NEED RELIABLE VEHICLE
Posted by helpmeifucan on 2011-06-21 22:58:42
I'll get to the point. I need $2000 so that I can buy a reliable vehicle. I lost my job of 10 years, where I was making $72,500 a year. Along with it, I lost my beautiful home and my car was repossessed. I am now starting to get back onto my feet with some contract work that I am doing as a Multimedia Specialist (graphic & web design, video-editing, 3D animation), but a dependable vehicle would allow me to take on contracts that I normally wouldn't be able to accept. All help will be greatly appreciated and I will offer to create or optimize any images or small media project that you need done. Thank you very much for any help that you offer.

To Whom This May Concern,
I am a 51 year old man who has never asked for help from anyone before. I am only doing this because I love my family and as a last resort. My family has no idea I have posted this at this time.
My Situation:
I am married to a wonderful woman who has two children. (My step children). She does receive $117.00 a week in support. That is her only income as she is not working due to spinal injuries. She has already had a spine fusion and will have another operation soon as she still has spinal issues not dealt with yet.
My health is not optimal. I was diagnosed with Diabetes in 1989. I had a heart attack in 2000 and had a stent put into my left circumflex artery. In 2005 I had triple bypass heart surgery, Coronary Artery Disease and Diabetes run in my family. I do not have health insurance right now and so I have not been able to see a doctor for my conditions in a couple of years now. I should be on two types of insulin, long-acting and short-acting. I should also be on medications for my heart, blood pressure and cholesterol. I can not afford these so I haven't even bothered to try and get scripts for them. I fear that this is beginning to catch up with me.
As I said my wife is not working right now. I am currently driving a cab and I am also trying to find a new job, but do to my health I have been working less and less. Also the economy & fuel prices have basically taken a big bite out of the cab industry. Very long hours for very little pay.
I also have two children of my own ages 21 and 20. I am very active in their lives and always have been. I still pay child support to their mother as I went into arrears due to the heart attack in 2000 and the triple bypass in 2005. I currently have a payment arrangement with the courts to pay this off over a period of time.
Here is my request. The bottom line is I do not make enough money to support my family(s) anymore. I am hoping that through this post two things could happen.
1. I am hoping that through this post enough people will see it in their hearts to help my family and I out through some donations.
2. I am hoping that maybe someone out there will read this and possibly have a job opportunity that will enable me to provide for my family in the way I would like to.
The following is a run down of my qualifications and work skills.
First I have a very high work ethic. I am very dependable and dedicated.
I am highly experienced in the customer service industry with experience successfully working under high call volumes, meeting and exceeding performance matrixes utilizing various tools, software and other techniques.
Over the years I have worked as a customer service representative, team leader, escalation representative and supervisor.
I have also worked in technical support of cable, internet and telephony.
I have also worked in the paratransit industry as a driver, scheduler, dispatcher and operations manager.
I have provided customer service in the following capacities:
⢠Setup of new customer accounts.
⢠Resolution and helping customers understand billing issues.
⢠New sales and upselling of services and products.
⢠Technical support for products and services.
I have worked with the following operating systems and software packages:
⢠DOS, Windows 3.x, 95, 98, ME, XP, NT, Vista and 7, MAC OS, Unix, Linux
⢠MS Office, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Frontpage and Outlook
⢠FileMaker Pro
⢠Aspect
⢠Avaya
⢠Siebel CRM
⢠ACSR
⢠Cable Data
I also have the following skills. HTML, CSS, PHP (Intermediate Abilities.)
In closing, whether or not you choose to help, thank you for taking the time to read this. Although, not a religious man by any means, I do believe in GOD and with that say to you, God Bless.

Need a Hand Up Urgently
Posted by lrosario75 on 2010-11-04 08:58:58
Hi...I have always prided myself in being able to take care of my family...Some recent unfortunate circumstances have led me here...
My father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the end of March and passed away early June...He left a huge amount of debt and a house in forclosure...I live in another state and when he passed I spent my savings on trips to NY to help my mother with the funersl arrangements and take care of her...During that time, my brother and I found out that our mother had been cheating on our father for over a year and using his money to help fund her boyfriends cab company...When we confronted her she basically told us she wanted nothing more to do with us and that she only acted like our mother to please our father to get his pension money..She told us we were dead to her now and she never really loved us anyway...Since then my brother has been sent to Afghanistan again and I'm left trying to recover my losses...I'm trying hard to get back to where I was financially but it's not happening fast enough...I have sold and pawned almost all of my valuables to keep gas in my car so that I'm able to work and keep food on the table for the kids...I even pawned my wedding ring which really hurts me and I'm having trouble getting it back...I have $38 in my back account until next paycheck after paying all of my utilities...
I honestly am not asking for a handout...Just a little help to get my wedding ring back and continue to keep food on the table for the kids and continue being able to get to work...I am an honest dependable hardworking mother who just needs a little help to get through the next few months...

Happy New Year Everyone!
I live in Kensington, MD. I am seeking a full-time job. I am currently working part time as a swimming instructor/water aerobics instructor. Have experience in coaching and am a licensed pool operator in both Maryland and D.C. I have 17 years as a medical transcriptionist experienced in all specialties. Radiology is my forte and also have over 20 years of experience as a legal secretary at all of the "top ten" law firms in D.C. I can go back to any of these and do well with my eyes closed. I type over 100 wpm and my shorthand speed is 85wpm. I am also open to any other type of positions you have available. I am dependable, loyal, professional, personable, compassionate, a quick study and hard worker (workaholic) who is willing and able to go above the call of duty. I love to travel and helping others. Please e-mail and I can provide resume and written references. Thank you and God Bless!
