Lost my kids, mom, and home in just a few months.
Posted by babygirlz4u2 on 2012-05-15 22:58:54
Im 35 have two kids. I, like many other single moms, worked and lived a normal quiet life with my kids. My exhusband threw us out the house almost six years ago with nothing. I worked hard to get an apartment and pay bills and care for my kids including putting them sports to keep them active. Everything worked out ok for all these years until my ex got married. He married into riches and now he wants the kids. Looking at his finances, he took me to court and sued me for full custody, without money for a lawyer I asked for court orderd attorney. That didnt work out for me and now Im having to pay 400.00 mthly for child support and get them every other weekends. I cant even get them to go to church with me cause my ex threw in that he didnt want religion in my kids. How a judge can do this, I dont understand. All this came down in Feb,2012. I cant pay for an apartment so I moved in with my mom in march, 2012. she as of May 2, 2012 had a massive heartattache. now Im out without anything. Because I moved out the way to live with my mom, I lost my job, cause it was too far and my mom was paying car notes on her car and it has to be returned to dealership. and no money for rent on her home and everything has hit me and Its more than I can bear. Please help me so I can get on my feet to atleast so I can get an apartment for me and my kids and and help get my job so I can pay my child support, most important. I pray everyday/nite for God to help me and I was praying tonight 5/15/2012, and I felt he led me here to this site for help. Thank you for help.
Help Me Get To My Job Please?Need A Car.
Posted by EmpowerMe2Give on 2011-12-10 09:58:12
I need a ride to work until I can get another used car. I have been a working man for over 30 years and never took a handout or asked for one. But now, I am desperate. If you could find me a working vehicle that I can drive to work I would do work around your house or work on your car. I was an ASE certified mechanic for 30 years, I do minor construction. I was laid-off when my employers dealership closed, looked for work and finally got a full-time job again. My car died and I had no funds to get another one. Please help me to help others again. Buyer of My mobile Home is in Default and not paying me, I need to get money 4 car
Posted by all4Luna on 2011-11-05 19:58:18
It is too much to bear. I sold my home under contract to a black woman who turned out to be lying crack head. She refuses to pay me the 6,700 she owes me. I am so poor I cannot afford to file in court the 147.00 needed to go to small claims. Also the mobile home I purchased has 2 rooms gutted and unfinished. I need the bedrooms to have floors and walls. I have a 21 year old son with autism and get no help at all from county or social work, etc. I'm also trying to make my home suitable and finished so my granddaughter can come live with me. Her parents are neglecting her and I need a suitable room for her to live in. The home I sold was fixed by me and husband. We invested money so we could get a few thousand but we got nothing! We moved into the mobile home we reside in now but since the "buyers" have not paid, we are unable to finance any fixing the house desperately needs. Also, my husbands car dealership mechani's job got axed and he is looking for ful-time work. I was just given a job after neing out of work with uterine/ovarian cancer and heart surgeries for 5 years. We could really use a donated automobile, and the $6,700 that our "buyers" owe us. We can pay back if and when the judge awards it. We have real estate contract proving that they bought and they are clearly in default. We have always been hard-working people. I need a car to get to work now so I can earn custody of my granddaughter from her unfit father. Please call Kim Freeman at 610-703-1452 if you can donate a vehicle that runs well and any money at all.
Car Trouble

Hello,
This is a rather strange incident that happened not too long ago. I had just completed some training and certification for employment, and I took my wife out to celebrate the accomplishment. We decided to go to Panda Express for dinner. After we ate, I opened my fortune cookie, and it simply stated: "Your luck will change.". I thought to myself, what an unusually bold statement for a fortune cookie. Anyhow, I thought nothing of it and went on with my day. The following week, I was on my way to work and my car just stalled. I could not restart the engine even though it had gas and a rather new battery. I had it towed to the dealership where they informed me that one of the rods in the engine was bent. The car is a 1994 Honda Civic EX, and it only has about 112 thousand miles on it. Anyhow, the price for a refurbished engine from the dealership with a 3 year warranty for that model of car is: $3,400. With the economy the way it is, I don't have that type of money saved up, so I am asking for any assistance to be able to get enough money to pay for this engine.
Thank you.

I have a family of five, just as you might have. I really don't feel right about doing this but when your choices are extremely limited you believe in dreams and the kindness of others who are out there. Hopefully that will be you. I am a 55 year old Married man with a family of five to support. I was in the Auto business ( Parts 25+ years ) until the Mega dealership I worked for closed without any warning about 2 years ago. How could you even think that a giant like that could just close like you turn a light switch off. Well over the past few years and odd jobs I still don't have any thing steady, peace work here and there, and with the unemployment coming and some savings and the last of my 401 we have been able with the Grace of the Lord to somehow survive. Until Now... When things were better around 2005 we refinanced our home, with what I was told was a great option Mortgage. To make a long story shorter I would later find out that this Mortgage may very soon make us homeless. It has last month reset to a level that I can't pay and I have become very distraught and desperate, and plead for any kindness You might show us. Because I am still unemployed with only occasionally peace work I can't even qualify for a mortgage modification at this time. But with your's and the Lords help, I may be able to hold on a little longer and my Prayers for a Miracle will be answered.
Thank you for hearing me and may the Good Lord personally bless you however you can help us, be it a financial donation of any amount, or through your prayers. And remember the Good Lord shines his Grace and Kindness to those that help the ones who are going through hardship

Help me with my car repair bills!
Posted by JimDasch on 2011-05-07 16:58:22
I recently bought a 2008 Pontiac G6, silver beauty.
The dealer showed me a clear CarFax and the car drove fine for 6 months, all of a sudden after recent oil changes by the dealership my car will not start!
I had it towed to the dealer and they said it needs 4,000 USD in parts and labor to be running again!
My hours just got cut from 40 to 20 a week and I can hardly afford to pay the car loans monthly bill. I tried to apply to the dealership for a loan to get the car fixed but my debt to income ratio is too high!
I need 4000 USD to fix my car to keep the job I am already barely holding onto.
Please help me and my family. Karma is amazing, and God Bless.

SUV Rollover!
Posted by Dee5090 on 2011-02-08 15:58:58
We have been having problems since the economy crashed. We lost our home and our fence company was no longer bringing in much money. So I had to go to work, but the only job I could find was an hour away.So I tried my hand at selling cars. After about 5 months there I was on my way to work and hit black ice and flipped my suv 3 times. I was shook up and had a concussion but otherwise ok. I had tried twice before to get an economical car from my dealership but they said I'd need a lot of down. After the accident I tried again but it was the same story. I went to the salesman at a ford dealership that I had bought my Explorer from and was able to get a Ford Focus. Even though we were having it rough I was sure we could make the payment. However one week later they layed me off. I was able to get another job at a department store but does not start for a couple of weeks. So I am in dire straights. The tags, insurance and payment are due soon and I will not have a paycheck in time.I also have a lot of other bills that need paying that I don't want to think about. I need $1600.00. This would pay for my tags, insurance, first payment and gas till my first check. I don't know what else to do. Everyone I know, family and friends, are in the same state as I am.
Please, won't someone out there help me?

Had to put my cat to sleep & also need money to move into a new place by month end
Posted by LKLewis on 2011-02-07 15:58:58
I recently found an affordable apartment in a nice neighborhood, but before I could scrape enough money asside for first & last, I was hit with a hefty vet bill due to my loving cat of many years falling suddenly ill and then having to be put to sleep. I had two jobs, but lost my weekend caretaker job when my only elderly client was mugged at the bus terminal and hospitalized. Now I have just my one 8 to 5 job with a struggling truck dealership, which gives me little financial wiggle room in case of emergencies. I really could use the help in getting enough by month end to move, and maybe some help with this unexpected vet bill.

Furniture-wise, I need a sofa, chair, table, rug, tv and cabinet for tv. A desk would be nice too.
I am not picky. I would be thrilled to have a gift card from ANYWHERE.

Hello all,
My name is Elizabeth, but I go by my middle name Kelly. I am a 38 year old disabled woman (degenerative disc disease, two back surgeries, one abdominal surgery). I current live in El Cajon, California and due to painful reasons I cannot voice, I must move NOW. I am trying to move up to the Bay Area as I have family and friends there.
I have saved $10,000 of my own money, but I need another $10,000 ASAP. I have found land on which to build a home. The land is $9700 for a .27 acre lot. No, that's not a joke. There are about 26 lots available within a sixty mile radius of San Francisco that are listed at/or below $25,000. While I am building, I intend to live in an RV. It's the most cost effective way to move right NOW and have a home of my own for the first time in my life. I have found a suitable and well priced RV for sale. The dealership has agreed to knock another $2000 off, so after fees and taxes, it would be $11,000.
First problem: My credit has been destroyed over the last three years due to medical bills that I put on credit cards (those financial issues are resolved, but still took their toll on my credit). All of my efforts to obtain any kind of financing have now been exhausted. My credit report is actually the lesser of the issues. It's the fact that I'm disabled, on a fixed income, and have no idea when or if I can return to work (I have requested clearance to return to work and have been denied repeatedly by three different doctors). This presents the biggest concern for lenders despite the fact that how little I need to borrow would constitute a monthly payment of only 17% of my income. It makes no difference if the loan is for the land or the RV. I am considered too much of an "unknown risk." And to answer an obvious question, yes my family has already pitched in as much as they can.
Second problem: With the $10,000 I have, I can either buy the land outright, or buy the RV outright, but not both. If I buy the land, I have no way to live on it. If I buy the RV, I have no place to park it to live in it. So, I am throwing my pride out the window and I'm asking for help. If you can and are willing to help, I would be extremely grateful. Every single dollar counts... So, if a dollar is all you can spare, I would still be just as grateful. At the point at which I own the land and the RV (and my car, which is paid off) this will be just enough collateral for a bank to loan me the $45,000 I will need for the cabin kit (it's a small cabin that comes to you in pieces and you put it together yourself.... think Ikea on a much larger scale, and much better quality; it is about $18,000), and the rest of the bank loan would be to connect to utilities and lay a foundation.
I want to make it clear that I am only asking for enough help to get me up to the Bay Area... 10K total. Once I have the minimum I need, this post will come down. I'm not asking for any more than I need to get the land and the RV at the same time. I'm not asking for ANY of the money I will need to build my home and connect to utilities. I can and want to take responsibility for that myself. I'm only asking for the kick-start I need... I've saved half my start up on my own. I need help for the last push to get me to my personal "Promised Land."
Thank you for taking the time to read about me and my situation... I hope that one day, when I am financially established again, I will have the means to come back here and help others the way I was helped in my time of need.
