I am a 43 year old woman who is married to a 43 year old man. We both moved to Miami Florida and thought that our lives were about to become better. I went to school for cosmetology, and my husband found a great job in Customer Service with the Visa company. Now one and a half years later we are about to lose everything we have tried to work so hard for. I have finished school and I have obtained my cosmetology license. And I have searched for a job ever since. Unfortunately for me I have found out that Miami is a city where you cannot find a decent place to work without speaking spanish, and that most places they speak only spanish so i cannot find a job yet. My husband just lost his job last month and now we are behind in all of our bills. Our rental agreement states that we can be evicted after the 10th of the month if rent is not paid and we are now going on the second month because my landlord has seen that we have always been good with paying rent. But noone can live for free and now she has told us that if we do not pay rent this week she will have to evict. If there is anything anyone can do to help even 5 dollars we would greatly appreciate it.

I am a 50 year old man.I take care of my mom as to shes been a tempamental diabetic since she was 31.She also has severe neropathy.After my fiancee had paseed away in 2004,I was left to sell our house and to start a business so I take care of my mom and work.The idea I had was to do lawn care,painting-interior and exterior homes,haul unwanted items to the dump for customers I acquired from my business I started after selling my house.I was able to persue my dream business in LawnCare ,and was able to provide my mom with the assitence she needed. Since 2006 I have saved her life more times than I have fingers and toes.This job is also conveinent because if my mom or someone calls me with an medical or any kind of accident emergency I can leave my job to help, return to finish it after I am done.My customers are aware of that precedure since I informed them when I acquired them as customers.Since 2006 when I started my business and purchashed all my equipment needed for the lawn care business,some of the important pieces of equipment had stopped working such as my lawn tractor and weed eater. Recently, I quit my job and started up my own eBay business. It had been a dream all my life, to own my own business. I started just a few months ago, and everything was going flawless. I have a great supplier, great products, and great customer service, etc. While we were new on eBay, they had set limits on how much we could sell and Paypal put 21-day holds on all our funds, till the customers received their items. It was just recently, that we turned into eBay Powersellers and received the status of "Top Rated Sellers".

Everything was going just perfect, up until recently. My mother-in-law needs a LOT of teeth work done. So, I decided I would list my cherished Jimi Hendrix poster online, to raise funds for her teeth work, because my business was new and not to the point of affording $5000 teeth work. I put it up for a 10-day auction and everything was going just fine. About halfway thru my auction, it was generating bids and lots of interest!

Then, the bottom fell out..... A gentleman from California was interested in our poster, and stated that he would like to purchase it. He said if we took the listing down, he would send us $3500. We agreed and took it down. He paid us within 10 minutes! We thought we had hit the jackpot. Not only was my business taking off, now I could afford my mother-in-laws teeth work! The very next day, I put his poster in the mail and we went to pay the down payment at the dentist and a few other bills off. Everything was looking good. Later that night, I received an email from Paypal, that the buyer had put a claim in! He stated that it was not as described, even though he had not even received it yet! It was still in route, thru the postal service. He had buyers remorse and Paypal froze my funds up.

No big deal, I am an eBay Powerseller, I should be able to make the funds really fast, right? No. When a customer buys something from us, we use their money they just paid us, to purchase their part and have it shipped to them. If my Paypal account is frozen and in the red for $3000, I am not able to sell anything or ship anything off!

Now, Paypal has paid the customer back and I am just sitting here trying to figure out what to do next. My dream I had started and finally got off the ground, is now ruined. I worked 20 hour days to get this off the ground, and now feel like a failure. I cannot do anything until the money is paid back. I have no way of doing anything.

I quit my job to do this and we are now struggling. It actually makes me sick, knowing I tried so hard to get to the Powerseller level, to have it all ruined because a customer wanted his money back on an item I had a "No Refund Policy" on. Paypal ruled in his favor without even talking to me.

My Paypal balance is a -$2741.79. I really need help getting it back to ZERO. Please consider a donation for a guy that is really trying to do something with his life. I am a 40 year old male and have been a failure all my life and now I have something that is working, and just when my family started noticing, my hopes were all dashed again. Failure surrounds me.

Alright, its been a long hard road but Im finally starting to see the light. Long story short, IM IN A BIND! Im going crazy as to what to do. My mother passed away 2010 & I was no wheres near ready for her to leave me. So without a job, car or a completed education I took off on my own because she was all I had. I lived with friends while I tried to get my things together but there were some really bad, unsafe & unhealthy living situations so I bounced around alot & eventually wasnt able to get my diploma. I thought I finally caught a break, a girl said I could live with her rent free if I was her sitter 5 nights a week, that was quickly ended. After only 3 mths I find out the house was up for foreclosure & was going up for public sale within 3 wks. I finally found a more stable, long term place to stay a few mths ago, Ive looked into getting my GED & I start working in May for at&t customer service, then I can save up money for a car. I really want to get my CNAs but in order to do that I need my GED & the CNA course is $400 & the GED is $70. I would love to be able to take my GED next mth, the tests only come around every other mth & itll be available to take in early April & Id love to sign up for CNA courses after I pass the GED, my next steps after that is to start my at&t job, save up for a car, eventually get a CNA job then go to college while Im working CNA. Just right now Im in a bind, I cant seem to find a way to make money. Ive offered babysitting, pet sitting/grooming, housecleaning, lawn mowing, and no ones taken me up on my offers. $470 would change my life as silly as that sounds, but it would. Ive lost my mom, been homeless, ive been hungry for days, & Ive felt like I coulntor wouldnt make it, well thanks to some amazing people who are allowing me to stay here rent free until Im able to get on my feet I finally feel like things are starting to look up, I just need a littlr nudge in the right direction & financially Im unable to do it on my own. My husband and I graduated from our local university in May of 2010. We set out to find jobs but every place we applied was not hiring and after 6 months of this we decided to start our own business while applying for jobs as we were getting things started. Still nothing on the job front, and in February of 2011 after much planning we finally opened our own computer repair business. Business is slow going as we have only been at it for just under a year now. And we are not able to pay ourselves at all yet.

And just before Christmas of 2010 we found out we were going to have a baby. This was a big surprise as my husband has been fixed for 12 years and we have been together for 10 years with out anything happening. After getting him checked out, we verified that he is in fact able to have children and the doc didn't seem to know just how after 12 years of being fixed, that it could reverse itself.

All of these situations have come about and made it hard to pay bills, afford basic stuff like diapers for our little girl, and we are even to the point where we need another vehicle and we cannot afford to get one even though it is greatly needed so that I can get my baby to doctors appointments and WIC appointments. Also, so that my husband can still have a car to got to work and travel to customer sites.

I am looking for any donations big or small. Anything helps! I will be using the money to meet our basic needs and possibly save for another reliable car for myself and my baby.

Since I graduated from university, studying music I have worked in customer service as there were not a lot of jobs available where I live, but I was laid off from my job 12 months ago and got behind with my rent by a couple of months, which landed me in £600 worth of debt on top of the debts I had accumulated as a student.

However I found a new job after a couple of months and everything seemed to be looking like it would work out but after a month of working there I had to take 2 days off sick and my new employer decided to terminate my employment. I went back to applying for jobs and selling my stuff to pawn shops to try and make ends meet, receiving benefits but although I could eat and keep a roof over my head I couldn't pay off my outstanding rent.

Then after a few months of looking for work I was helping my mum's friend out with some heavy lifting and helping with her garden work as she lives alone and ended up with a really bad inguinal hernia which left me incapacitated until I could get surgery, I had the surgery which fixed the problem but the surgeon advised me the hernia was a very large one and they had to make a 7 inch incision in order to be able to remove it which left me bedridden for a couple of weeks after.

Then the worst thing happened, I was offered an interview for my dream job a few days after my surgery, I explained my situation and told the employer how much I wanted this job but they said they were really sorry but they needed someone immediately and could not wait.

One of my friends told me about these websites where people help out people in bad money situations. So I guess I'm hoping someone can see fit to help me because I'm not doing too well resolving my problems alone.

My plan is to try and get as much of the £600 rent I owe so I can pay my rent off and re-locate as jobs are so scarce where I live.
I spoke to my landlord and asked if I could move out to re-locate and pay them back when I get a job but they said they're sorry but I need to pay up to date before I move out, so I'm stuck here with no job prospects, I can't just leave owing them this money and run away from the debt because I feel I am a moral and generally decent person and after the understanding and patience they have shown me in putting up with this situation for a year, running out on them would be a disgraceful thing to do to them.
