I don't like the word beg but I guess that is what it is. My pride is high and I hate asking for help but I don't know what else to do. I saw something on TV and decided to try this. Here goes!
I am a 39 year old with 3 children and a disabled husband. I have a lot of issues right now that I am trying to deal with and keep my family off the streets. I don't mind sharing my story if need be because honesty is the best policy. My husbands SSI is very low, as if he has not really worked and he is over 50. I have been trying to keep my head up and keep my bills paid. I work but my job is a PRN position because it was all I could get. I was making a fairly good pay until they decided our department needed cut backs and cut our hourly pay almost three dollars. I am trying so hard to finish school to be a LPN and then a RN. I have been trying to finish school since 1992. I know that if I can get my degree, I can provide for my family. So, I have bills up my butt and school is hard. Now, I am dealing with losing my financial aid because though I have a high enough GPA, my other cumulative average is below standard. I knew nothing about that. I was focusing on making sure my grades were good enough. My 14 year old daughter is pregnant and I can't even afford to begin buying baby things or think of how to save for it. My husband is so content with his little check until nothing else matters. My oldest daughter is in college with me trying to get her LPN but her hearts desire is to be an OB/GYN but they changed the required score level for the SAT and ACT and she registered one quarter to late to get in. Had she registered earlier, she could have gotten in the school she wants to attend but now she has to go to a local college and earn credits and then transfer, IF her grades are good enough. ON top of all that, my husband was just hit in the rear by another driver and our car was totaled and he was hurt. So, my only car, of which I was paying on still, is gone and I owe to much on it for the insurance to pay it off.
I feel overwhelmed, depressed and like I will never make it. I am working, attending school, and trying to write a book and do a gospel CD. Anything to try and bring in money to support my family. I really don't know what else to do.
I don't know if this works or not, but I am willing to try. I have felt so bad until at times I wanted to just end it all but I know that is not the example I want for my children. I want to see my grand daughter born and I want my children to finish school and do better than me, but also see me come out of my struggle. I keep telling them I am going to buy the house we live in, they keep laughing and even with that, the land lord is talking about putting it on the market because I can't come up with what I need to even start buying. I pray that God blesses my household and family. If someone does decide that my issues are worth helping, then I pray God bless you with an overflow for your blessing me. I don't know what else to say but thank you in advance. As embarrassed as I am, I can only pray this is real. If not, at least I got to vent and get it all of my chest. I had no one else to tell anyway.

Earlier today I tried getting a checking account. My credit is so poor I can't open one. How pathetic. I am posting this because I want out. I have been married for 30 years. I married at the ripe age of 18. I produced three children. I have tried to do everything right, never fooled around, have been the perfect wife. Was a stay at home mother until my children went to school. Started working for the school system so I could be home when my children got home from school. Did the sports, you name it. I'm tired of being verbibly abused and not trusted. I tired of the bills not being able to be paid and getting collection calls. I have tried to earn money, have even gone back to school to get a higher education. My husband hates me going to school and gives me a hard time. He informed I can't go this summer, I can't attend classes.I am worn out and fed up. I can't leave because I can't support myself. My credits ruined so even if I try to get a better job and they check my credit they wouldn't want to higher me. That's my story, yes I'm begging for money, because I want out, to start over, find myself and be happy. No I don't want another man in my life. I need to find me and be happy, before I can ever think about trying to be with someone else. So pathetic that I let this happen to myself, where did I go wrong.

im a single mom to 2 daughters

i am in the midst of a disability claim as my dr has not released me to work in over a year, i have M.S.

i do not qualify for state assistance on medical and 200.00 in "cal fresh" benefits.

at this moment i still have 150.00 left owing on my renatal deposit that i have been making payments on.

Rent is dues but that is only 226.00 ( i have section8 which assists in my rent payments)

Edison is 153.33 past due

we would appriciate any help some one is willing to extend. Food would also be a blessing.

i was going to school at university of phoenix i have 37 credits but due to financial aid issues and my being sick often i had to with draw.

for the last 2-3 years I'm trying to convince the administrator of the building I'm living on to repair the roof because I'm living at the last floor and water started to wet my ceiling. For all this time they did not do anything and the water started pouring from my ceiling to my walls and floor. They came into my appartment 3 or 4 times to notice the damages the water did to my home and they left the same way they came. Finally, few months ago the started working on the roof and now, the part above my appartment is fixed, by the ceiling, the walls and some of the furniture needs fixing and I'm not able to do this by myself because everything is very expensive and my salary cannot cover the construction matterials, the food needed to survive on a daily basis and the bills for electricity, phone, cable and bank credits. I covered by myself some of the construction work, by buying matterials and working in my free time to fix the damage, but I'm about $2500 short of finishing the renovation job. Any help to reach the needed sum will be very and kindly appreciated. Best regards to everyone and thank you for your help.

I have never asked for help but after numerous interviews extensive hours of submitting my resumes online. My parents who can't help me with my situation do not live in the same state as I do and they are constantly helping me because no matter what I keep trying to feed my children by standing in line at churches for food donations. In November I had to withdrawl from school temporarly because I lost internet connection due to not having money which I was not able to finish my degree in completing 6 credits to graduate. Today I called to re-enroll and I was told that I have to pay $2,400.00 even and then I'm able to re-enroll and finish my two classes to recieve my degree. My parents have helped with my bills but they are not able to help me with my tuition. So I have searched everywhere and now I'm left to ask the public for help. My major is criminal justice and I really want to finish because I'm so close and then just hopefully I will be able to get a job so then I don't have to keep going to charities to get food but rather give back. I already try and give back by giving away things that I no longer need such as clothes that my children outgrow. The suppor I get for my children all goes to my rent which everything else is included which I thank God for that. So please please any donation will help and I promise to give back by paying it forward and those that know me know that I'm just that kind of person who has always given back. Just today I still have yet to find work and I'm so hopeful that once my degree is completed I will be able to find work. I am hearing and speech handicapped man aged 46 years living in Kolkata, India. My wife is also same handicapped but not fully educated, and have normal 12 years son. Presently, I am working in odd jobs but earning low income is not quite enough to make both ends. The saying about foolish middle age women is not a myth. I’m one of them. My name is Pat.

To make a long story short; my partner I met when I was 41, succeeded in 2 years to gain total control over me, my life and everything I ever worked for. He did it so cleverly and smoothly that I didn’t even noticed when I had simply nothing, no one and nowhere to go.

When he had me in his hand, he turned from a gentle, clever, kind and loving man into a tyrant, abuser, dipsomaniac and sadist. When my paralysis and apathy got to big I obviously was no sport anymore. One day he took whatever suited him (mine, his or gained together) and left me with piles of unpaid bills, debts taken in my name I didn’t know of and far too high rent for one person to carry.

But I’m a fighter! I’m a survivor. I decided that I’m blessed to be alive and will honour it with doing my best or even more to straighten up my life.

I have been struggling night and day since he left and I have succeeded to secure my electricity, heating and water supply. At Christmas eve I was thanking in prayers that I could afford a little food. I welcomed New Year’s toasting with myself with a small soda (pure luxury…). I started to see the light in the tunnel, gaining back my self-esteem and seeing that everything will be solved.

Until this morning.

My landlord (a big company, impersonal and no one to talk to) have informed me that there is a 3 months’ rent debt he was obliged to pay but never did and also he took out a deposition of 3 months that entitles to live in the flat.

If I don’t pay it ASAP I’m out in the streets. And I will be. He has misused my credits so I’m marked in all the systems; no loans, no flats, no telephone, no credits, not even a Visa, nothing.

Please, help me. I have no one to turn to. No family and what friends would be left after all the dramas, his manipulations and deceits and my absence? I refuse to give up but honestly – I don’t know how long I will have the strength.

Anything will be of help. Anything since I have nothing. I beg you. And you know – see it as an investment; Can this be solved I can’t see anything that can’t, and then It will be my turn to pass the generosity and helpfulness to the next needing person. And I will! To do that though – I have to survive.

I am a Navy Vet who has been without a job for 3 years. I have been living off of my GI Bill while I work towards my BA. My benefits ran out last semester as I don't quite qualify for the post 9-11 GI bill due to when I was honorably discharged. I am only 3 credits away from my BA and I am having allot of trouble making rent for myself and my 9 year old daughter. Financial Aid will pay for school but it leaves me nothing for rent. The medical bills keep coming.

We got in over our heads when we had to use our credit cards to meet deductibles plus the 20% we owed as part of medical expenses.

All this due to cancer.

Which I still have.

I was diagnosed in 1997.

I am desperate and sorry to be doing this.

If I could work outside the home, I would. My health does not allow me too. I applied for government assistance and was denied.

I quit working to become a stay-at-home-mother and because of that my social security disability credits expired.

We have been making late payments on everything: including mortgage, utilities, and of course, the credit card.

We live frugally. We do not have any luxuries. No iPads, iPhones, or fancy toys.

Our two cars are quite old and paid for, but keep giving us EXPENSIVE trouble.

There doesn't seem to be any end to pit that we were "forced" to dig because of my cancer and the endless bills.

I even had to go without medical insurance last year for six months. I was terrified, but we simply did not have the money to make the insurance premiums. I went without medications and medical care.

My heart is heavy with sorrow.

My husband works hard, but unfortunately, just does not make a lot of money. He tries. Bless his heart.

Yes, I am begging, I don't want to but i need to humble myself. I have 15 credits so far and a 4.0 GPA. I am working on another 3 credits, but I am short 311.00 to finish paying for it. I also had to drop my next class, because i do not have the money. I left a full time job when my husband transferred back to his hometown. I have not been able to get employment. We had to file chapter 13 (have to pay his child support), so I can not get a loan. Stafford loans do not cover it all, and I did not get a pell grant. The course I gave up costs 1242.00 for 3 credits, plus books. I am trying so hard! Please help if you can. Thank You!

In the past 10 months I have had to have an emergency appendectomy and two surgeries for a tonsillectomy. All three of these surgeries, on top of the numerous ER visits associated with them and the unfortunate need for an ambulance once, I have been strapped incredibly tight this year. I am a full-time student without insurance, and between school and the surgeries/recoveries, I haven't been able to work as much (I do work about 20 hours a week at school on top of 16 credits, but it barely pays for my food.) My cell phone has been off for a month, and at this point I really don't care, I don't need it. I do however need to be able to be able to pay rent, or else I'll be looking for a new place in the midst of all of this. Rent (+ utilities that are owed to landlord) equal $500 for me this month. I am hoping that I can find a job to help me with December (by January I should have more student loans available to get me back on my feet). Anything you can do to help me by Tuesday (I know this is short, but I really waited until this was my last option) would be fantastic. Every little bit will help since it will mean less having to sell off things such as text books I am still using, or any of my 3 electronics for 20% what I paid on them. I always help others when they are in need, now its my turn. I am so behined on everything, from my mortgage to my car insurance and I have nowhere or no one to get help from. I have lost my job due to company closed and cant find work to cover even my bills or to survive on. My home has myself and husband who works almost 15 hrs a day, still not enough and my daughter and her son, whos father passed away last year, she had to move back home, and she works but barely enough to support their needs. She only 22 and could not get Social Security since the baby daddy didnt have enough work credits, he was only 21 when he passed. Any help would be great ! I dont need cash....please just help pay my bills. I am begging for any help.

Hi I am a 36 year old single father who needs help to finish college.

I am only 4 classes (12 credits) away from getting my degree.

I lost my aid because I was out for a time during the semester and lost it because of it.

Any help will go towards covering my credit hours, books, and other expenses towards finishing up my degree.

I am on a fixed income where it is nearly impossible to finish up there, my deadline to finish is coming up fast.
