Desperate Need for Residential Psychiatric Care

Posted by Frenchie01 on 2012-05-23 16:58:00

I am faced with an impossible request I think. 3 years ago I was a strong, confident woman, 13 credit hours away from a BS in Biology with plan of going to graduate school. I was in an extremely abusive relationship with a man that I had to assist authorities in putting in prison. The same man left his daughter in my custody under the pretenses that her mother had abandoned her. I cared for her for two years as the only mother she knew before I found out that he had in fact kept her from her real mother and I had to return her to her biological mother. That same man sent people after me to attack me later and forced me to fear for my life. I still do.

I now understand that I was dealing with a psychopath.

After that man was incarcerated I tried to rebuild and began a relationship with another man who later went to prison for a charge that he accepted for someone else basically. While he was incarcerated my best friend of over 20 year died of unknown and still unexplainable causes. Once the man that I was with came home I then suffered two miscarriages.

I am told by my physicians that the constant state of being in a heightened and frightened state caused post traumatic stress disorder which led to an anxiety disorder coupled with daily panic attacks and agoraphobia.

Due to my condition I lost my job and no longer have health insurance. I am unable to drive or leave my house 90% of the time. I have been hospitalized on several occasions in an attempt to control the anxiety and depression that seem to only be getting worse. I feel over medicated but still as if nothing is working.

My physicians have suggested a residential psychatric program that would last approximately 30-45 days to assist me in in getting a handle on these conditions and assist me in regaining control of my life. However these programs are all self pay even if I did have insurance and range from 40-60,000 for the complete care in a facilty that can handle both the medical and therapeutic side of psychiatric care.

There is simply no way that I can accomplish this, but I feel as if I am slipping away and I am scared that I will never come back.

I just want my life back. To be free from these nightmares, this panic, these fears and to not live my life on medications that due nothing but make me a zombie. I had a life and a plan, I was going somewhere, and now I can't even leave my house for weeks sometimes months at a time.

My parents have basically been placed in financial ruin to assist me during this time, and they can no longer assist me. I am scared beyond words, If I don't find a way to get help, to get better, I fear for what will happen to me, how I will live, pay bills, work, be a functinal member of society.

I feel that committing to a residential program as suggested is my only option left, my only option for survival. I am desperate and scared. But I don't know how to accomplish what seems to be the only hope.

Please Help, someone please throw me a rope, I am desperate, lost in a dark pit somewhere, I can't see out, there seems to be no way out......I need a rope.....Please help.

Have to receive 500$

Posted by daniel on 2012-05-22 18:58:04

I have to receive 500$ now to pay my credit card bill... IT s all I need to pay my bill because I have to rebuild my credit. I lost my job in march but now i ve got a new one but I dont have enough to repay my delay in payment

thank you just 500$...
My daughter, mother, sister and myself are all that we have left. Lung cancer killed my dad, prostate took my grandfathers, breast took my aunts, colon took my uncles. I have cried everyday, all day. We have very little family and very little money. The funerals costs, the bills, took everything we had. We are flat broke. We are behind in all of our bills, rent, utilities, credit card and we really need help. My daughter is 7 and she cries and understands that we are very poor and we don't know anyone who we can turn to. I am begging with a sincere heart in hopes that any amount can be donated can save our small family and keep us going. I am constantly looking for work, but with my mom fixed income, my sister's disability and a young child I am always needed to get medicine, or to wash and clean my family and care for them. Any donation will sincerely be appreciated with humbleness and gratitude and I hope you will receive twice as much for your sympathy.

How Can I Help The Poor And Needy People?

Posted by rwbovee on 2012-05-22 09:58:29

How can I help the poor and needy people? you may ask. I'll tell you how. I'm a poor minister, currently working in a factory. I drive an old, rusty 1985 Chevy Citation. My mechanic tells me I need a newer car right away but I don't have any money for one. It's so rusty the frame has cracked. It's literally being held together with a wire and chain so the frame doesn't rub on a back tire and give me a flat. And I need this to drive 12 miles and back to work every day to keep my paychecks coming in and for my ministry activities. And now the transmission is starting to go too. I can get a newer one right now for $5,000 that would last me for years but have no money and bad credit. So if you're asking the question, "How can I help the poor and needy people?" here's how. Mail a check or money order for all or any part of the money I need, anything will help, to:

I'm going to be a dad

Posted by Daemonarch on 2012-05-21 21:58:09

First of all, I'm terribly sorry for my bad english. I'm a portuguese man and recently I had the most wonderful news, I'm going to be a dad... unfortunately, I'm unemployed and so is my wife.
I need help to start buying some basic things for the child, and I've absolutely no chance of credit (I've already made one) with the portuguese banks. Any help will be extremely valuable... I want to keep this baby and if I can't provide a good environment the government will take the baby from us... Please help.

help with vet bill

Posted by drivindaisy on 2012-05-20 10:58:40

My little dog recently suffered with vertigo, i took him to our local vet & they flushed out his ears but while they were doing it discovered a tumour in his ear canal. He was referred to a specialist to have m.r.i scan & inner ear removal. The specialist vets also advised us to have his larynx operated on at the same time, so we took their advice. The ear operation went well but throat op caused problems & now our fit little dog has been left with a nasty cough for life that needs to be controlled with medication. We expected the pet insurance we had to pay for the treatment but as the tumour turned out to be a polyp he is not covered as he was prescribed ear drops for an infection 3 yrs ago.So now i have put a £6000 vet bill on my credit card that i am struggling to pay off. Any help would be greatly apprieciated Thank you

Hard working, 26 years old and pregnant

Posted by ChatonLea on 2012-05-20 01:58:51

My fiancé and I both got laid off the same week. We are both very hard workers. We were living off very little, but managed to save some money. After a month worth of bills, it's almost gone. We have been searching day and night for jobs and applying everywhere. Nobody is calling us back. We have enough money for utilities, but won't be able to make rent which is due in two weeks. We just got a new little car 2 months ago since our old one broke thinking we were going to be stable enough. We don't have money for that $400 payment either. Our wedding was supposed to be last week, which we had to cancel due to money issues. We just found out we are expecting. Which is the only positive thing so far, but we are going to need money for it also. We have sold most of our clothes and furniture. Both our families are struggling with money at the time so we are on our own.
If we don't get money soon, we will be car-less and homeless and our credit we worked so hard for will be ruined. Homeless and pregnant. I don't know where to turn. Any thing will be very appreciated, be it money or even just advice. We want to give our baby a good stable life, I'm so scared, please help :(

Drained By Divorce and Bad Economy

Posted by downnout81 on 2012-05-19 00:58:23

A few years ago my wife and I divorced. I got stuck with her car payment, student loans, legal fees, and credit card bills. She was awarded our house, but because it was purchased under a VA loan, it remained in my name. She hasn't made a single payment on it in over two and a half years and it is now in foreclosure. My credit is shot. I am a union electrician and due to a bad economy I have been out of work for two out of the last three years. Things got so bad for me that I went over two years without seeing my children. A few months ago I was finally able to borrow enough money from friends to get an attorney and get visitation of my kids again. With all my ex wife's bills that I am responsible for, plus child support and my own cost of living, I am unable to stay afloat. I am drowning in debt and the stress is taking a toll on my body, as I have been gaining a great amount of weight. I know the economy is bad for many people, and I am ashamed and embarassed that it has come to this for me, but I am turning to the many good samaritans that I know are out there and asking you for your help. I am a good person and when times were good for me I always helped the less fortunate when and where I could. Now I, unfortunately, am the less fortunate and I need your help. Please show me that there are still generous and caring people out there and help me and my children out any way you can. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Student Tuition

Posted by corpsdude on 2012-05-18 20:58:07

Psych major at UMass. Overwhelmed with student loans, supposed to graduate this year but can't register for more classes unless my student bill is under $500. Maxed out credit cards, can't keep the cell on, and barely eat every month. Any amount helps and I don't have shame in showing my bills if you want to see them first.

Single dad needs your help

I am a single father of two wonderful kids. I am going through a divorce and now find myself in severe financial distress. I have a good job but due to a layoff several years ago and things that have since happened to me, my credit is not the best and I can't get a loan to get caught up. I am in trouble of loosing everything I have very soon and need help. Anything will help! I would even be very grateful if there is someone out there who would work with me on a private loan that I could pay back over time. I just need help, and soon. I am not trying to scam anyone. I know how it feels because it has happened to me and I can prove what I am saying. I am in debt by about $15,000 and I am having a hard time putting food on the table. If anyone could help, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks for reading and have a great day

Car Completely Died, Need New Solution!

Posted by TuckerJ on 2012-05-18 13:58:05

My 1997 Chevrolet has stopped running. I overpaid $2700.00 for it, and now to fix it, it will cost more than it's value. I live far away from my job where I just started working this week after looking for work for more than four months. So in a nutshell, I'm completely broke.

I decided that the safest route to go would be to buy a scooter, as they're more convenient, there's less likely for something to go wrong, and they're cheaper and better on gas. However, I have absolutely no money to buy one, and since I have no vehicle or transportation what so ever, I won't be able to make it to work, and this will only make my situation worse.

I have found some very nice used scooters for $500 on craigslist nearby. I would so incredibly grateful if you could help me with this $500 and I will have NO problem paying you back $100 or more a month via. paypal until I have paid you off. I can't take out a loan because I'm only 20 and haven't developed enough credit to do so (trust me, I've been down that route).

If you do this for me, I will be able to get to work, by groceries, and keep on going until things get better for me. Also, I was recently accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and a scooter would be perfect for getting around a place like that.

That's all I need, just $500. I'll pay you back monthly, I'll also give you any information you need in order to prove to you that I'm good for it. I can even set up a contract (if need be) stating that I WILL pay off said vehicle by a certain date.

Thank you very much for even taking the time to read this and consider.

$2000 credit debt, unpaid bills

Posted by madder00 on 2012-05-18 06:58:59

I'm a college student considering dropping out in order to help my family with the rent and bills that have been piling up. I'm supposed to be taking care of my mum, but instead, she's taking care of me, my drop out sister and drunk of an ex boyfriend, neither of which are willing to help her financially. I have given everything I could, but its still not enough.

I need to get my credit down again so I can start pumping out rent, or we'll lose our place. We've already lost cable and we're shaky on electricity. I recently put 600$ towards an investment where I was supposed to have a table at an art convention, but my table was lost due to an "administrative error" and my investment was completely lost. I've tried making up for it by promoting my art online, but with little success.

Anything would help. Anything.

Credit card and student Loan debt pileing up

Posted by Thatgraphicsgiy on 2012-05-17 22:58:21

I recently got out of a Long term relationship with a girl who was unwilling to look for a job. She left me ib this relationship with $19,000 in credit card debt, wrn i already have almost $60,000 in student loans that i can barely pay back. I was laid off in 2008 and had to take a series of odd jobs over the past few years before finally settling in with my current position at $3 an hour less than I was making. I am currently living I. My friends basement because adter taxes my take home is only 1200 a month. My bare minimum payments combined with the 500 a month I give them for rent and food I am left with just enough to stay alive.

As a practitioner of Buddhist meditation, I have a strong belief in the power of karma and losing kindness. I am not asking for a complete bail out but I have faith that there is someone out there that has te means and desire to help out. A large portion of my credit card debt was built up after offering up my car to help those in need, including my ex. If these bills were at the very least lessened, I would have the financials and to continue to help those in needs which is something hat I draw much happiness from.

If you Have the means and te desire to help me get back in my feet i promise you that I will return that generosity to others based in your example. Thank you

Our Home is slipping away... Please HELP now!

Just $10-$20 from YOU, could help us make a dream come true, and possibly others on Begslist.com as well!!
As the housing bubble collapsed, my family and I could see the coming recession and its fall out coming. While my wife has a steady and secure job, and I ran a successful public relation business, we could not chance getting caught in the down pour of bad lending and foreclosure we saw coming. That was our last smart move.
As the recession, I might argue depression spread across the country and our town equally, like so many others, we found ourselves affected in ways we didn't see coming. My business began to fail, losing client after client to hard economic times, until those few clients who were left were asking for reduced costs, some even asking to keep services coming though they can not pay at this point. I have tried to oblige. I continue to serve many clients in trying to promote their products and services "pro-bono" so they can eek out a living in these times.
My wife has been great through all this. She works a steady "day job" to barely meet our monthly rent and bills.
We have tapped every credit card, and can't pay their monthly bills and fees. We have ruined our credit, believing if we could hold back the storm, and continue to help those we serve, we would be alright on the other end.
NOW, as home prices are finally in reach, we find that we can no longer qualify for the loan that would get us, and our five sons into a new home. With home costs once nearing and surpassing $200K, we can now buy the perfect home for $50K. That's what we're asking for now: $50K!! Banks, once far too anxious to give loans for over-priced homes to people who could not afford them, now turn us away for a much more reasonable loan that would actually lower our monthly expenses by almost 1/2. We now watch as wealthy investors snatch up the homes once financed by real families and foreclosed on. But in the time it takes to rebuild the credit we need to get financed, these moguls will have all of the properties and be renting them out to all of us who could not hope to own under these terms.
So we turn to YOU! A generous stranger, who can help make our dream come true. YOU can donate a small portion of this expense, and help us to make this dream come true. We are setting a goal of $50K, and hoping to beat the tide of greedy investors from owning what could be our new home. As we get closer to our goal we will use some of the thoughtful contributions we receive to repair the credit we have forfieted, so we might get the funding we need on our own through a bank. IF this happens, and we exceed donations needed, then we will donate the remaining funds to others on Begslist.com, including to the Begslist.com creator to continue to help neighbors help neighbors ... because we all need help sometimes!

Medical and other bills piling up

When my daughter was born in January of 2011 she had to be extracted via a fast emergency c-section. She had been engaged in the birth canal but she disengaged herself and the umbilical cord came out. The doctor was concerned that the cord was strangling her and took my wife to emergency surgery. My daughter survived and is now healthy. My wife developed an infection from the procedure and spent three months with a wound vac and endured two more procedures to try and remove the infection. In the time since I have changed jobs and moved my family back to where I grew up so we could get help with child care for both the baby and her 6 year old half sister from my parents because of the costs of day care. My wife can no longer work. I tried for several months to sell my home. When the opportunity presented itself I moved my family and ceased making the payments on the home I was trying to sell. It is now being foreclosed on. We are covered up with medical bills both from her past before we were married and also from the procedures to stop her infection and also credit card bills that are partially thanks to my ex-wife. After reading through this site I have decided that I guess I am not too proud to ask for help from compassionate people. Please contact me if you have any questions or thoughts on my situation.

Family in serious need

I am a pregnant mother to 6 wonderful children, my husband works in Tampa, and we live in Polk county which is a 2 hour drive. We do not have a car, so he has to stay in Tampa for the whole week. He only gets to spend time with his family for 2 days out of the week. There are many times that he can not get back out to Tampa to work because of our finances. We are trying to relocate back to Tampa so we can all be together again, and so he can work everyday, but do not have the money to afford the move. I do receive food stamps, and have tried to explore other options for help, but have ran out ideas. I am not on here trying to get any "extra" money. I am completely broke, I couldn't even pay our electric bill. If there is anyone that could help it would be a blessing, any little thing would help us right now. Again we are not looking to get ahead, or to pay off credit cards. We are honestly facing homelessness, which means me losing my children. Please if you can help us.. Thank you!
