My 1997 Chevrolet has stopped running. I overpaid $2700.00 for it, and now to fix it, it will cost more than it's value. I live far away from my job where I just started working this week after looking for work for more than four months. So in a nutshell, I'm completely broke.

I decided that the safest route to go would be to buy a scooter, as they're more convenient, there's less likely for something to go wrong, and they're cheaper and better on gas. However, I have absolutely no money to buy one, and since I have no vehicle or transportation what so ever, I won't be able to make it to work, and this will only make my situation worse.

I have found some very nice used scooters for $500 on craigslist nearby. I would so incredibly grateful if you could help me with this $500 and I will have NO problem paying you back $100 or more a month via. paypal until I have paid you off. I can't take out a loan because I'm only 20 and haven't developed enough credit to do so (trust me, I've been down that route).

If you do this for me, I will be able to get to work, by groceries, and keep on going until things get better for me. Also, I was recently accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and a scooter would be perfect for getting around a place like that.

That's all I need, just $500. I'll pay you back monthly, I'll also give you any information you need in order to prove to you that I'm good for it. I can even set up a contract (if need be) stating that I WILL pay off said vehicle by a certain date.

My wife and I are expecting baby number 4. We had a suv, but it was repossessed recently because we fell on hard times. We have a reliable car, but it is a sedan, and when the baby comes in September we won't have enough seats in the car to fit everybody. I can do basic tune up type maintenance, and a buddy of mine is an old school "shade tree mechanic", so I can fix one up if it's in safe condition. I have found suv's and mini-vans on craigslist for sale by owner for less than $2,000. I don't have that kind of money right now, and we are only 4 months away from the due date. Please consider helping us get the family vehicle we need.

I was a employee of my previous company for over 10 years when after a merger I was laid off and given a joke of a severance package from them.

I have been looking for a new job for over 7 months now with no luck. Bills are piling up and I don't know what to do. I have offered services on craigslist.com and fiverr.com and have not really made enough to cover bills.

My son just turned 2 years old and I don't want him to have to grow up in the same atmosphere I did with my mom always struggling to make end meat.

Injured on my job 8/16/2005, fighting with SSA since Jan 2006 for SDI which is currently at the appeals court and I have 8 more months before they will decide. Husband passed away at a young age of 49 in 2009. I have no one to ask for help. Been living on less than three hundred a month and food stamps since injury. I am on section 8 housing. I have always managed to get the money to pay my bills through light cleaning or selling stuff at swap meets or on craigslist. No longer have a means to get stuff and take to swap meet and no sales or cleaning calls from craigslist. I am way behind on my bills and if utilities get disconnected I can lose my housing aid. I need new glasses as I can no longer see properly out of mine and I need a truck to be able to go to the swap meet again so I can earn the money to pay my own bills. As of now I need 2500.00 dollars to get caught up and get glasses and 3000.00 to 5000.00 to purchase a truck tag it and insure it. Having a truck will able me to make money to keep my bills paid were I won,t have to be here begging for someone to help me. I am very afraid with my disabilities and other health issues at becoming homeless and being alone. So please help with what you can. Anything you help me with is a blessing and I Thank you. Hi everyone. My name is Denise I am 65 years old and a disabled veteran. I am from Springfield, Missouri. I have problems with my knees, legs, back and even though I can not get around easily, I am on a cane. I also suffer from severe depression, migraines and flash backs from war, I am very forgetful among other things. I had to move in with my son and daughter in law because I can not live alone or take care of myself. I have also had a triple bypass and have two brain tumors. What brings me here today is last night my chair broke. When i sit in it i start to sink down in the middle and I can't let my legs up. My son and his wife can not afford to get me a new chair. I have been watching Craigslist for one but I am having no luck at all. Having a comfortable recliner to rest in would mean the world to me. I am drug and drink free, no pets, kids, or drama looking to relocate anywhere. I don't want anything for free.. I will work, clean, anything (but not be a girlfriend...i've gotten enough of those offers on Craigslist to know to put that in here)until I find a job and then pay rent for my room until I can get on my feet. I have to move by April 24th. i'll only have about $480 to my name, no car, and very few belongings. Just need a stable place to get back on my feet. Thank you

I'm helping a friend who is overcoming agoraphobia. I recently helped move him to a home where he can live with supportive people who are getting him the proper medical care, and slowly getting him back on his feet. Our problem is...he has no bed. He is so very appreciative of all of our help, but truly I cannot afford to buy him one. He is sleeping on the floor on a comforter now, and waking up stiff and sore. He'll be starting work soon, and needs good sleep! I'm a single mom raising two boys, so my only to help at this point...is to find resources. Please help! We'll seek out a used bed or Futon on Craigslist or thrift stores, just to get him off of the floor!

Hi; I am a USAF Vet. I am still fighting to get my benefits which landed me to living out of a truck. Eventually I came home with my mother but now Ive caused her to struggle. My bills are piled up and the rent is backed up. thought since i had something saved id move so my mom wouldn't struggle and i gave the deposit of $3000 for an apartment found off craigslist come to find out he had "rented" it to me and 3 other tenants and now he's nowhere to be found.Used a different name for all of us. tried for a payday advance got scammed out of $150. If anyone can truly find it in their hearts to help me get caught up give my mother something to catch her up on her rent and make it back to where I ill be given work Id be grateful. Ill even work for it ill do ANYTHING and i mean ANYTHING! Ive been scammed hurt abused and used to where I dont know what to do anymore.
We risk everything to defend this country but when it comes to being there for us this country isn't there for us.
Even if someone can spare half the money or something at minimum $750 for the rent please. Anyone?

Please help! I have been given a Legal Notice to Quit by the State of Indiana. I have less than 10 days to pay my 800.00 worth of rent and back rent before me and my kids are evicted. I have tried selling things on craigslist, and I am still looking and applying to almost every job I find, but It has come down to this.

I am desperate and will lose my home this year.
The balance of my home ($41,000.00) will be due in full this year. I bought a small home on a land contract from a very kind Christian man who believed in me. He helped me because I was unemployed. Three years later I still cannot find even part time work. I have applied at over 200 companies. I am also caring for my 86 year old father which I want do as he needs me. I have a 99 Mini Van, high miles. No toys, and I have sold what little I have on Craigslist. My father has a small fixed income and health insurance. I have none. I am single with no children. I was adopted. My parents gave me all the love a child could want. We have never had much. My parents always taught me "People before possessions" I lost my mother a few years ago. I will do anything to make sure my father is cared for. He has early signs of dementia. I watch him slowly lose weight and memory.
Anyway, my friend passed away and my loan is in the hands of his estate. His family will repossess the home if I can't keep up with the payments, and pay the full balance. It is a (1976) manufactured home and I have learned no bank will finance the home even if I were working. I don't know if my friend knew this when he loaned me the money, but he had a heart of gold. I guess I should have checked into this.
I have tithed and given to The United Way for 20+ years. Now I'm in trouble. My small church is unable to help except with food. I'm trusting God and asking for help from anyone in a position to do so. ANY amount would be a blessing! My faith is strong & God is in control. The fact is, if I lose my home, I lose everything. If you are unable to help, I welcome your prayers!!

I've never done anything like this so I'm not sure what to expect, but am hopeful that somebody out there can help. I'm attending a prestigious four year college in the fall, and am extremely proud of the effort I've put in to get this far. I graduated high school one year early (despite some major roadblocks in my home life) and spent the next six months working 40-45 hours per week.

I am eager to leave home once and for all, and put all my energy into my future. I've saved what I could, paid what I can and will continue to work diligently towards establishing myself as a productive adult.

However, despite my best efforts, I am still a couple thousand dollars short of my expenses for school. I've asked family members and friends, sold everything I can on Craigslist, and have spent many nights stressing about whether or not I'll be able to actually attend the school I've worked so hard to get into.

I'm not asking for alot, I know that anything will help. This is me asking for perfect strangers to look into the kindness of their heart and donate what they can, or are comfortable with.

My 78 year old mother got into a Contract with a real estate Scammer on Craigslist and I had to spend my life savings to get her out of it. Ive been taking care of her since '96 when her husband died and she had a stroke. We had to sell our home in 2011 to pay off bills that she had racked up. We now stay in a 7 x 12 trailer on a friends farm and i can not seem to find a job that will hire me as I can only work part time because mom needs a full time care taker. I need money to buy a house or trailer before we get kicked out, my friend is getting tired of us please help financially.

hello i work as a cna i get sent home half day when there is not enough residents. It happens alot in the new year. I have bills that need to be paid rent and food. I put some of my things on craigslist and only scammers have contacted me. My husband is laid off and I have no one to help me. Please I have no one. even if it is alittle it still helps.

6 months ago we responded to an ad on Craigslist. It was for property managers in Fl. We accepted the position sight unseen and in good faith. With my wifes health getting worse and having a hard time working. This seemed like a good thing. We took our savings and left for Florida. Well when we got there it turned out to be a scam. Lesson very well learned! We ended up in south Ga with her sister. I recently started a job that requires travel. our car is up for repossession due to our payments falling behind. I have tried to make payments when I started working and they said it was to late so I am using the car till they come and take it. We have financed 2 other cars with them and always on time. I wonder if the people that work in those places ever fell on hard times. I am not sure if that is the right thing but I honestly did try to catch up. When they take my car I will not be able to travel. This job is not very steady but it is work till I find another. I am looking for work in the Albany Ga area. If anyone from this area reads please consider me. I have a good work history and can provide a resume. I have posted many resumes and have responses from many scammers. This is the first time I have ever begged for money so I don't even know how to beg for it! Here we go, I am a college student, I tried fafsa they gave nothing supposedly my mother earned enough she is a mother of 4 and currently unemployed, doctor said she can't work anymore but the social security keeps rejecting her application. A single mother who is very ill had one surgery back in March and a heart catheterization because of a blocked artery this past November 4th. She has another surgery coming up
first week of December due to a paralyzed vocal cord. Obviously, there is no money at all. I enrolled in a payment plan at my school. I was working during the summer but ended up laid off from work like many. My earnings went to helping my mother with my brothers’ expenses. I managed to pay my first two payments at school but today was the deadline for the second to last payment. The previous one was only 2 weeks ago (I don’t know how the school expects for you to wind up with a chunk of money in two weeks). I ended up paying back in October 26 $311.75 for the tuition payment. Also, 412.50 for my rent and utilities on the side about 100. I was freaking out after that since I ended up with $5. I got on craigslist listed my belongings but only managed to sell one pair of diamond earrings. The pawnshop wouldn't even want to sell my other diamond white gold earrings!

In the end, I went this morning at 9am (est) and paid $60. I have a hold now on my account for not paying the full amount, which means I won't be able to register for classes on spring if I don't come up with $563.50 plus a late fee by December 9. Please help!!!!!!! My main concern is my college payment. I really need it and I tried loans but I don’t qualify and I am constantly applying for jobs still nothing there yet.

Recently I was let go from my job. It's been about a month since I have had any income coming in. I had to leave my apartment and move back in with my parents as I could not pay my rent. This has just made it harder on my parents with the extra money on food they are spending. I try to help them with what I can, mostly with work around the house to help. I am constantly looking for work with no luck. It has finally come to my realization that I can't pay my upcoming phone bill, insurance, credit cards all which are at max, or for the money I need to pay to my college so I can finally go back to school. As of now I am not receiving unemployment and don't know if I'm going to be able to qualify or not. Even if I do it's only going to be enough to pay for maybe my insurance. I've recently posted some of my items on ebay and craigslist to sell just so I can pick at the debt I'm in.

I need help more than ever now. My landlord just gave me an eviction notice last night because I'm two months behind on the rent. I have a storage unit in Vista, CA with what little I own in there and I just got a call Sunday that everything in my unit is going to be auctioned off Oct. 15th if I don't get that rent up to date. I owe about $400 on that. Because of my breast cancer and other medical problems I applied for State Disability, which I've been turned down twice for. Last week I had a hearing in San Diego and lost. I guess I'm not disabled enough in their eyes. I'm looking for a job as a Bookkeeper or Administrative Asst. but the unemployment rate in CA if now over 12%. If there is anything you can do to help it would be greatly appreciated. God bless you.

I've been going through breast cancer for the last 15 months. Although I'm now cancer free, the aftermath, the pain, the numbness, humility of having only one breast is worse than when I was going through chemo. At least at that time I was getting some help from a cancer organization based out of Orange County, but they serve San Diego County also. I'm a 58 single woman with no husband, no kids and no one to take care of me but myself. Although I'm emotionally ready to work only part time right now, I was recently hired and working 15 hours a week…. Not much. It’s not enough to pay my rent, put gas in my old van, let alone go out to dinner or a movie with a friend. My resume is on craigslist and I have a great deal of administrative and bookkeeping experience. I have about $2 to my name, my rent is past due and I have no money for gas. My cell phone needs a "Straight Talk” phone card every 30 days I purchase at Wal-mart (which is $45). I'm not getting any help from any organization, I’ve been turned down three times for disability and I can’t apply anymore. I don't know where to turn. I drive a 16 year old van with a transmission that is failing and it cost $90 to fill the tank. I don't want to be homeless again. My rent is $700 a month and I have none of it. I’m now two months behind. The landlord has already given me an eviction notice and I like where I live. I was told God would take care of me. I pray a lot but I feel my prayers fall on deaf ears. I don't know who to turn to or how to ask for help so I’m just putting it out there. Can anyone help me please? I you know of any organizations or individual who are able to help without being strapped themselves, that would be greatly appreciated. Even if several churches helped me with $125 to $150 each (Paid to the landlord, not me, a gas card or Wal-Mart card) that would solve my immediate dilemma. Please feel free to call or email me.
