Hello. I am bipolar and in the process of applying for disability. Due to my bipolar I cannot keep work and am trying to get myself and my survival together while in the disability process. I applied mid April for disability but it will be several months until anything is done.
Right now I am in need of help for medication and my counseling fees. My medication is 347.00 a month and my counseling fees have to be paid upfront and those are 25.00 a week. I haven't had my medicine in 2 days and if I go much longer I will be in bed crying for days. I don't like to skip my counselor but I will to get my meds.
I just need help until SSI comes through...please..

I never really had any monetary problems until now. Over the years I have helped my family & friends until I have gotten myself into a hole that I can't seem to get out of. I used my income to provide help to others and used credit cards to pay for my own daily expenses which was a very foolish thing to do. I am currently taking care of a disabled aunt and am unable to pay bills AND buy food. I owe a total of $16,000 to credit card companies and am working with a a credit counseling agency to consolidate these bills into one monthly payment. My son is a very smart and vivacious 9yr old. A few yrs ago he was diagnosed with ADHD/ODD and its been a whirlwind and stressful few yrs adapting to everything. After several yrs of counseling and after attending several school he FINALLY has found comfort in a local catholic school. He has made it known how much he loves his school and how much ambitions he has to graduate from that specific school and go on to be a scientist. My intention were to pay his school off with tax returns of course life happen and between my medicals bills and my car dying out on me. I now owe his school the full amount of almost $2,000 that needs to be paid before he starts school again. He DEFINATELY deserves it and has proven so my getting honors again and am hoping someone is able to help me in any way possible. I do great

I am in a situation that sadly, many are in right now. I am working and in school trying to improve our situation. My husband has had his hours cut at his job which has substantially decreased our ability to pay bills. I made the grave mistake of getting caught up in the payday loan loop and I am now at the point where the bulk of my paycheck goes to paying the payday loans!

I have joined a credit counseling program which has streamlined my debts and if I can make the $285 payment per month, I can be debt free in 2 years.

The problem is, with these payday loans looming over me and being obligated to them for over the next year (I have 3 altoghether)I feel that I can never get out of this hole!

Additionally, my company was recently sold and we are due to lose our jobs by the end of this year--which is just too much to even fathom right now.

Any help is appreciated. I would say that the total that I need is $3000 (all 3 payday loans were for $850 apiece--if I can pay them off immediately with the interest where it is now, it would total $3000.

I am in domestic turmoil with my diagnosed severely narcissistic sociopath mother. I am trying to raise money to relocate with my children and pets and cut contact to my family. I went through my savings after I lost my job, trying to find another job and a place to stay. The situation is growing more tense weekly, and I know I need further professional counseling. Hello my name is Richard and I hurt my lower back at the gym. I was married and have 2 sons and I also had a house. Now after 4 years on Disability I am just getting by. 4 years ago I had to have a 3 level back fusion surgery, so I went into Boston to have it done and within months I knew something was wrong. So I went to PT and did what I was told after the about 9 months the Doctor said that the fusion was not healing so he had to go back in again. So this is number 2-3 level fusion surgery and when I got out of the Hospital I find out that my wife of 19 years was leaving me, so we go to court with the attorneys and get a Divorce and I lost my house and 2 sons, I had to move. At that time I had a nice house in Mass. So I just packed up what I had and moved to NH where I live now. Now as time went by my back was stilling doing no better, so I went to PT and then my Disability kicked in thank god because I had gone through my 401K by then just to keep a roof over my head and as luck would have it my back feel apart in other areas, so the Doctor said he needed to go in and fix it all now. So I had my 3-3 level back fusion in 3 years, so I went to PT were I hurt my knee and they had to do a total replacement, I asked myself when will this stop and I have thought about taking my own life. I went into some counseling and here it is 4 years later and my back has falling apart again, so I have to see the Doctor this month. It just sucks when you live in so much pain every day and people that have never hurt their backs have no Idea. So I am happy that I found this site because I cannot go out to the center of Manchester with a cup asking for any extra change. The Disability income only pays for about have my bills, just enough for a roof over my head. Then I have all the different medications that are not cheap, sometimes I fall into the Donut hole and cannot afford the medication so I ask my Doctor for any sample and he said they do not give out samples to the meds I have to take. So that is about it for me and my ex wife, well she married her boss who is a Dentist and they were having an affair for years. The other thing is I have tried to fine working from home jobs, like Data entry jobs but they all want you to pay something up front, which I never have so live goes on ONE DAY AT A TIME.

As hard as it was to just pick up and leave an abusive (both physical and mental) of 12 years, it was even harder to have my youngest daughter who is 3 walk up to me and say "mommy why are you crying, is it because daddy is mean too you?" That absolutely melted my heart and gave me the "final straw" scenario to leave my husband, and take my children so that they can be raised in a non-hostile environment.This decision has definitely come with a number of hoops and hurdles to get over. It doesn't scare me that I am now going to me a single mother, but its all the responsibilities that come with that title.

First hurdle, I had to overcome is finding a place for myself, 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son to live. There is a very limited amount of shelters for women with children, so we ended up staying with my bff in her 1 bed/ 1 bath 695 sqft apartment. While this is only temporary I am glad we at least have somewhere to lay our heads at night. Not to mention I work, 67 miles from my BFF's residence, and my kids school is another 80 miles away. This commute has almost been impossible to make, but my choices are limited at this point.

The things I so desperately need help with now is ANYTHING in your heart or power to do. Donations thru paypal are great and would help tremendously. I have to find a place closer to work and my children's school, I have my daughters school tuition of $385 due every month.I am lucky that her school is working with me considering the circumstances. I also still have to buy diapers and wipes, and organic food because my son has asthma and allergies. I never wanted to be rich, I just don't want to have to worry every week. I hope to be in a better position one day where my fiances not only allow me to live but also to help out anyone else in need.

Domestic Violence is such a mind game, it took me 12 years to see beyond the tricks and realize the damage it has done to not only myself but my two small children who are like sponges. Their behavior lately has me thinking that they will definitely have to go to family counseling in the near future.

Anything that is in your power to do will be so greatly appreciated. .50, $1, $5....whatever will help me rebuild our family unit. My husband mot helping me or focusing on the kids is his way of getting to me, but I cannot and will not ever go back. If anything please keep my children in your prayers, I hurt for them because I could not provide them with a traditional two -parent home. My twin sister desperately needs my help, but I'm in poverty and I have medical issues. I'm having a really hard time giving her much help.

First off, she is barely 21 years old and such a beautiful, lovely young lady. She always, no matter what, tries to be good to everyone, no matter what she has been through, and she has been through a lot. She has a lot of talents, including singing, songwriting, journalism, and poetry. I love my sister!

Unfortunately, she just became a struggling single mom with a newborn baby. She loves her beautiful baby so much and cares so much for him. If I ever have a baby, I wish I could be as strong and caring of a mom as she is. She puts her whole heart into his care.

She's been through a lot in the past year as well. Before she became pregnant, she was hit by a car and lost her job, all the while being confronted with huge medical bills. She can walk now, but has a permanent weakness in her leg and it hurts sometimes for her.

She now has absolutely no support from the father, and thankfully, he is out of the picture due to incarceration. I was aware of the fact that he was always a little "off", but she recently revealed many secrets to me, and he was aggressive and very emotionally abusive to her. He even stole from her! He hurt her very much.

She's staying at my mother's, which, is normally a good thing, but, this is NOT a good situation she is in. It is not very safe, constructive, or loving at my mother's. I worry for her being alone and having been through so much. I know she feels so upset, and it pains me that I can't be by her side. I also worry that the father might try to come back and hurt her if he gets a chance. She is stuck there and she needs to get out, soon.

So, dear stranger, my sister needs your help. She wants to do so much for the world, go to school, learn a lot, and contribute to society. She has a lot of dreams. She just needs that jump start. She needs to get started first.

Please, if you would take a moment and donate something, she would appreciate it so very much. Everything will go towards her beautiful newborn baby and her enrichment, and hopefully a few counseling sessions for the pain she's been through. She needs all the help she can get.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to my story.
Financial support would be deeply appreciated, but ultimately I seek the opportunity to learn the skills to live a self-sufficient life. I am a college educated single mother of a vivacious boy in 3rd grade. More than ever he deserves a healthy mom who can provide all of his basic needs.
My greatest desires include: intensive therapy, financial / budgeting counseling, and physical therapy.
Even though I have had some productive years, I continue to struggle with bouts of debilitating depression. After these episodes it has become increasingly difficult to rebuild my life. I am enrolled in the state run therapeutic program, but because of high demand meetings are bi-weekly at best.
I admittedly have done an atrocious job at managing my finances. Over the years I have attempted several different budgeting styles unsuccessfully, I am certain that much of my failure is due to simply not understanding how to budget effectively.
Finally, following an accident in 2008 I have continued to suffer chronic pain. I am confident that physical therapy would resolve much of the pain. Again financial limitations inhibit me from seeking treatment.
At this time I have been out of work for 1 year, which is the longest I have been unemployed since being of working age. At present I am enrolled in a Work Force program. Although my doctors have not cleared me for work, I continue to utilize what the program offers to the best of my ability.
I am doing my best to make the most of the help that is available to me, but my resources and spirit are dwindling.
I am open to any advice, and would be most grateful to anyone who would be willing to donate their time to help me reach my goals.

I am not sure how I feel about begging people for money, but I am out of options. I am single mother of three (25, 18,16) and grandmother of 2 and I have recently taken in a neighborhood girl 17 yo whos father tossed her out on the street. She is a great kid, and certainly not worth tossing aside. She is in her senior year of school and looking towards college. I want to be able to continue to help her as well as my other children, but this year has been challenging and a never ending battle. I am presently the only one working thanks to our wonderful economy, and I have to drive 1 1/2 hours to work everyday just to stay employed. My 25 year old lost her job when her youngest child passed away of SIDS last december and she just couldnt function. She is getting counseling and doing much better, and has started looking for work, but not having much luck. My 18 year old is in college, which she works to pay for herself. My son is only 16 and really shouldnt have to worry about financial matters. I work, and I work hard to support my family the best I can, I have tried to locate even a second job, but with the commute to job 1 that is almost impossible. My boyfriend has tried to help me, but he got laid off and is presently losing his own house to foreclosure. I am a hardworking woman who just needs a little help. I am behind in car payments, utilities, and we are in desperate need of oil. I have tried to apply for assistance, but the government says I am not eligible because in their minds I only have one dependent, therefore I make to much money. Any little bit helps, so please and thank you if you can.

I am seeking an appointment for counseling about delaying an upcoming eviction from my home. My case's facts:
1. I am 56 years old, never married, lives alone, no family.
2. Lived in my six floor walk-up apartment since Jan 15 1978. My name has always been on the Lease  Contract. 
3. Last full time job ended September 19, 2008. Unemployment ran out. Found two temporary jobs one in 2010 and another in 2011. Presently, actively seeking employment.
4. I have 18 years in Print Production, Plus 8 years in Print Sales - all in NYC.

About 2 years ago I started getting ill after moving into a apartment. I am a asthmatic and the 1st year after moving in to my apartment I got bronchitis 7 times, Pneumonia 2 times, 2 colds, 1 flu and mono. I quickly used up all my sick time and had also used up all my FLMA time. One day I had to go to the hospital from work and my employer fired me for it.
I filed for unemployment and won but my Pulmonologist
recommended that I find some other work then call center work due to my respiratory problems. I have a anxiety disorder and recently found out why. I was diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid and I have a small cyst or growth on my thyroid gland. I started experiencing uncontrolled anxiety and fatigue. I went to counseling for the anxiety but it didn’t help much.
I recently moved out of the apartment that was possibly the cause of some of my respiratory problems because we found mold in the hallway outside of our apartment and believed it was in the building too. I have continued to become frequently ill and my fatigue, anxiety, and asthma are making it impossible for me to find a job. I can’t get disability for my asthma because my O2 levels are not low enough.
We moved into a doublewide manufactured home we bought this with a small settlement I received after a truck ran off the road and hit me when I was putting my then 2 year old into her car seat. I was injured but she luckily was ok. The other driver took off on foot. This happened this winter and even after that I have suffered extreme fatigue. Our old car was totaled out and the car we replaced it with turned out to be a lemon. In less than 3,000 miles it blew the transmission and the rear axel broke. It over heated, and we also replaced the battery, 2 pulleys, and the AC went out.

We spent over $4000 in the different repairs on the car and used all of the money from what we had left from the settlement we were going to use to replace the original roof of our house from 1988. Our roof has already had leaks and needs to be replaced

My wife is trying to find work but she has seizures and can’t drive. My wife has only had 2 jobs her whole life and is having a hard time finding work. Now we are in trouble because we have no income and bills keep coming. My parent’s just filed for bankruptcy and cant help us and my wife’s parents are unemployed.

We need help with our bills and to pay for our basic need’s
Our bills are as followed.
Lot Rent 410.00 per month
Water/trash/sewer $100.00 approximately per month.
Phone and internet for two cell phones $150.00 (my wife and 3 year old have seizures and need a cell phone).
Car and home owner insurance $154.00 per month.
Power bill between $100-$300 per month (I live in phoenix, AZ and it gets hot).
We also are paying $100.00 per month to pay the fee for breaking the lease at the apartment that was causing me to get sick so often. We still owe $1,100.00

To put a new roof on our house will cost about $4,000

Hello thank you for taking the time to listen to my situation. My name is Joe I am a 28 year old married father of 2 daughters. My oldest is 3 years old and my youngest is 7 months old. I was a call center worker for 12 years and did mostly sales, collections, and customer service.
About 2 years ago I started getting ill after moving into a apartment. I am a asthmatic and the 1st year after moving in to my apartment I got bronchitis 7 times, Pneumonia 2 times, 2 colds, 1 flu and mono. I quickly used up all my sick time and had also used up all my FLMA time. One day I had to go to the hospital from work and my employer fired me for it.
I filed for unemployment and won but my Pulmonologist
recommended that I find some other work then call center work due to my respiratory problems. I have a anxiety disorder and recently found out why. I was diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid and I have a small cyst or growth on my thyroid gland. I started experiencing uncontrolled anxiety and fatigue. I went to counseling for the anxiety but it didn’t help much.
I recently moved out of the apartment that was possibly the cause of some of my respiratory problems because we found mold in the hallway outside of our apartment and believed it was in the building too. I have continued to become frequently ill and my fatigue, anxiety, and asthma are making it impossible for me to find a job. I can’t get disability for my asthma because my O2 levels are not low enough.
We moved into a doublewide manufactured home we bought this with a small settlement I received after a truck ran off the road and hit me when I was putting my then 2 year old into her car seat. I was injured but she luckily was ok. The other driver took off on foot. This happened this winter and even after that I have suffered extreme fatigue. Our old car was totaled out and the car we replaced it with turned out to be a lemon. In less than 3,000 miles it blew the transmission and the rear axel broke. It over heated, and we also replaced the battery, 2 pulleys, and the AC went out.

We spent over $4000 in the different repairs on the car and used all of the money from what we had left from the settlement we were going to use to replace the original roof of our house from 1988. Our roof has already had leaks and needs to be replaced

My wife is trying to find work but she has seizures and can’t drive. My wife has only had 2 jobs her whole life and is having a hard time finding work. Now we are in trouble because we have no income and bills keep coming. My parent’s just filed for bankruptcy and cant help us and my wife’s parents are unemployed.

We need help with our bills and to pay for our basic need’s
Our bills are as followed.
Lot Rent 410.00 per month
Water/trash/sewer $100.00 approximately per month.
Phone and internet for two cell phones $150.00 (my wife and 3 year old have seizures and need a cell phone).
Car and home owner insurance $154.00 per month.
Power bill between $100-$300 per month (I live in phoenix, AZ and it gets hot).
We also are paying $100.00 per month to pay the fee for breaking the lease at the apartment that was causing me to get sick so often. We still owe $1,100.00

To put a new roof on our house will cost about $4,000

This started happening in August. I left my house and was walking to the car when I saw out of the corner of my eye a huge birdlike thing swooping towards me. It scratched and pecked my scalp viciously and I had to run to the car. I was bleeding pretty badly and ended up needing some (expensive) stitches where it pecked me.

So about a week later I went outside again and again out of nowhere I hear a "whoosh" sound and suddenly this huge owl is scratching at my face and pecking at me. I ran back inside and again I was bleeding and scratched up, although I didn't need stitches this time. So I started thinking what is going on here?

I was attacked by this owl several times in September and October as well. It's quite large and a brownish-black color. Sometimes it "hoots" as it swoops down towards me. It seems to prefer to attack at night, although it has attacked me in the daytime as well.

The owl attacks have made me very paranoid about going outside, and I can't sleep normally any more. I lost my job after making some stupid mistakes at work because I can't concentrate. The worst thing is that people don't believe me when I tell them there is an owl who hates me and always attacks me. They usually just laugh, or they pretend to have compassion and then tell others I'm crazy. I'm constantly looking up at the sky and checking all trees and telephone poles whenever I need to go outside now. I always wear thick hats and long sleeves now as well. Sometimes I can see the owl waiting for me, perched in a tree, through the window. Once I saw the owl perched in a tree on a bright night when I had to go to the store. I made it to my car and went to the grocery, and when I came out the door and went to put the groceries in my car, I SAW THE OWL ON A LAMP-POST THERE. I panicked and threw all the grocery bags into the trunk and jumped into the car. It is following me and waiting for a chance to attack again.

Anyway, I'm asking for help here for two reasons. First, I need to get away from this owl. I lost my job and am in debt and can't afford to move unless I have some help. I want to move to a different part of my small city, or maybe even to a new city. I just want to start over. It seems like this owl has ruined my life. Secondly, I think I need some psychological counseling, but I don't have insurance. The owl has traumatized me and I'm always worried about it. I sometimes get panic attacks where my heart starts beating really fast and I start to sweat and need to sit down and do nothing for half an hour. It's really scary.

My Wife and I are both disabled Americans. She has had a major back fusion and two knee replacements as well as some heart woes. I myself have just had my second major back surgery, I have an implantable Cardiac Defibrilator and one total knee replacement.
We are both on a very low income, myself on Social Security Disabilaty, she on School Employees Retirement Disabilaty benefits. We have a vehicle that is almost twenty years old and on its last legs.. I am certain you get many letters like this everyday but we really would like some kind of assistance. We would love to be able to move to Vermont where we can be near our children and Grandchildren as they grow and flourish into strong Americans ans be near our Parents as they live out thier golden years. I know we are asking a lot but if there is anything you can do to truly show your compassion , we will speak on every t.v. station, every radio station, make posters, whatever it takes. To show our thanks and support. We're begging you.
The state of Ohio in its infinite wisdom is considering stopping paying my Medicare part b and take away my medicaid because we, "make too much gross income" by the time we pay all our bills we have maybe 50.00 left to last an entire month.
My Wifes Information::::
I was Married to a very wonderful man for 31 years. He developed heart disease and diabetes. He fought valiently but finaly succomed to the medical problems. I became very sad and was almost at the brink of a mental breakdown. I did become involved with the local Greif Counseling service as this helped me to ease my burden a small amount. I began talking to this nice fellow on Pogo.com which is an online gaming site where one may play all sorts of games such as Solitare etc. We hit it off and began internet dating in August of 2008. We arranged to meet in November and upon viewing each other we knew the bond we had felt over the air was a real bond and Leo dropped to his knees and askeed me to Marry him. We married a week later in November of 2008 and have been together ever since. Since than we have both become quite medically burdened ourselves, Leo has a thing called Sudden Cardiac death Syndrome and has had to have had an Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrilator instaled recently. We both suffer from back woes and must seek care frequently. Now we do have a 1996 Chevy Blazer that runs when it feels like it, the airconditioner is broken and what with being in the Midwest is very hot to have to drive around with the windows down. A computer part that costs 1500.00 for the A.B.S. system is out and we just can not afford to fix it. We love the vehicle as it was my first ever fully owned vehicle from a bank loan in my life. If We appreciate everything we have and are greatful for both this site and for all the kindness of others. My Information::::
My Wife and I will be Married for three years on November 28th.We met in late July or early August of 2008. She had just lost her husband of 31 years. I was myself looking for a somewhat different lifestyle than I was in currently. I was living at home at over 40, disabled with a moderate spinal disease and more or less going nowhere. Debbie and I hit it off right away and we were engaged in October and Married in November. We each have been each others rock and best friend and companion. I have since went into the Ministry and have undertaken many courses towards helping others to live as good a life as possible. Debbie is a great personal loss counselor in her own right. I recently became a heart patient and have had to have an Automatic Implantable cardiac defibrilator installed in my upper chest which has a built in pace maker. All this at only the age of 49.Debbie has had to have undergone major back surgery herself and have screws and cages ut into her lower back. This makes us totaly disabled yet we both have a teriffic outlook on life and are always willing to help others. Life is what you make it, not a series of bad events that bring you down. We both appreciate each day given unto us and are so greatful for all our friends, family, and fellow searchers of lifes Grace. If we were chosen to receive a New SUV as we live in snowy Ohio and may move to new England to be closer to some family we would make certain that it was put to good use and everyone would know the generosity of others.
