ANY Help is Appreciated

Posted by hoping4help on 2012-05-14 14:58:00

I never really had any monetary problems until now. Over the years I have helped my family & friends until I have gotten myself into a hole that I can't seem to get out of. I used my income to provide help to others and used credit cards to pay for my own daily expenses which was a very foolish thing to do. I am currently taking care of a disabled aunt and am unable to pay bills AND buy food. I owe a total of $16,000 to credit card companies and am working with a a credit counseling agency to consolidate these bills into one monthly payment. Until I can get this situation under control ANY help at all is appreciated. Thank you and God Bless.

60 years old . Raised 5 grown kids . Wife and I live in the home we built 36 years ago . Our income is my SSDI and a pension . We badly need to consolidate some debt . I CANNOT borrow , believe me I have tried . Had a bankruptcy from medical bills discharged in 2008 . Kept our home . I have 2 personal loans but those companies have change names and their lending practices and will not lend me what I need . I can verify all income and debt , I am not asking for a handout . I need to borrow $10,000 - $12,000 . I will set up auto payments if possible . Please consider my request and please not more than 15% yearly . I would like at least a 5 year term and willing to allow any legal way to set up the loan . Thanks So Much

my daughters drowning in student loans/can't live on peanut butter!

Posted by cleanforaliving on 2011-10-05 13:58:05

Please help!My daughter finally finished her college education and is now drowning in debt/she borrowed (all)to attend college.
My husband and I work, but were not able to contribute with the exception of books,we are below middle class income and have other children, there was no way to save for education. So here goes, she has Fed loans and private loans, totals come to about $35000 many many private loans and only one lender who will consolidate at a hefty 10 1/2-13.3% Yes!!! Crazy,so she 'll be paying on 5 private loans and the fed loans. Plus she still has'nt found a job,she does work at a supper club since high school (bussing tables, hostessing and an occasional night of waitressing). But it doesn't pay the bills (She majored in Public Relations and Journalism)any amount would be deeply, truely
appreciated.Shes a great gal,and would gladly pay it forward when she can.Job offers would be a bonus on this site!

Need HELP!

Posted by HORTOND on 2011-07-07 11:58:13

I am in the army and im the father of a beautiful daughter. I am currently going through a custody battle so that i can be the primary custodian of my little girl. Im only an E4 in the army, so my pay isnt that great. I work a second job waiting tables just so i can make ends meet. I pay my lawyer 700 a month, thats $4300 so far! and i also am forced to pay my soon-to-be-ex wife $695 a month. Not to mention I am paying all of our debts that we accrued while we were married and my regular household bills as well. I put in over 70 hours a week and I feel like things just arent getting better. Im just wondering if there is anyone out there that is willing to help a father in need. I am trying to do everyhing i can to do what is right by my daughter but it doesnt seem like its enough. Ive paid off $14000 of debt since we have seperated and still have $20000 to go. Im worn out and tired. I am willing to provide documention and proof of all of my claims. I just need whatever help i can get. Wether it be someone generous enough to give me the money or lend me the money at a low interest rate so i can consolidate. I appreciate your time and thanks for listening.

My email is hortondenny@gmail.com if anyone would like to offer their help.

Loan after back surgery

Posted by kgriffith on 2011-06-08 23:58:27

In August 2010 I had to have back surgery. The recovery was a lot longer than anticipated. During recovery I had to let my company go and fell way behind on bills. In February I was released to go back to work. That same day I had a secure job. I have a good income and continue to climb the ladder at the new company I work for. Because of medical expenses and expenses from closing my company My credit is horrible and I just can not catch up. I want to consolidate all my bills so I can focus on my job and family. I am not looking for charity. I am looking for a loan.I understand it will have a high interest rate.

In urgent need of $15000 AUD to save me from bankruptcy

Posted by mary123 on 2011-01-11 20:58:58

I don't know where to begin and had no idea sites like this existed but I guess desperate times call for desperate measures. I am a 27 year old mum of two beautifull girls and been married for 6 years. In 2008 we made a stupid decision to sell our home and move in with my parents to buy a business with them. This business cost us dearly and caused my family to lose everything. My parents were forced to sell their home and we all now live together in a rental property. We finally sold the business last month for a total loss of $227000 AUD.My dad was forced to declare bankruptcy but unfortunately there is still $15000 AUD of debts which remain in me and my husbands name which I need help to pay off. I am on social security benefits and cant work at the moment as child care for two kids will cost me $300-$400 per week and will leave me with nothing and my husband is struggling to find work at the moment after working for over two years with no income.I do not want to be forced into bankruptcy for $15000, and I have no assets besides a car that gets me from A to B. I really don't know what else to do and most of the time I am left with nothing of my social security money or hardly enough to buy nappies and formula after paying towards the debt. I don't know if this will work or how it works but I hope that someone will find it in their heart to give me a hand. I have tried to consolidate the loans into one payment, but because I am always late on payments the banks have rejected. Even if someone can lend me the money and I will even sign a formal agreement to pay them back, or if by some miracle, 15000 people will be willing to donate $1 each to help me out? Thankyou for reading this and hope to hear something soon.

LOOKING FOR A 2ND CHANCE HELP!!!

Posted by jojomontroy on 2010-08-02 14:58:58

PLEASE HELP LOOKING FOR A SECOND CHANCE TO DO THIS RIGHT.
Unlike most people Im sure I am here not because of natural disaster or even a job loss. I am here because I am in a situation that calls for help and I have to swallow my pride and ask. I would much rather help be in the form of a loan to consolidate everything so we can pay one payment. My husband and I are hard workers but due to poor financial decisions in our past we have debt and really want to pay back what we owe. The problem we are being swallowed whole and can not seem to get anywhere. (No there is no credit card debt) We need about 250,000 dollars to buy our home (we are currently renting to own) and pay off all our debt so we can have one payment. If we consolidate we can pay a monthly payment of no more than a 800.00 a month and interest can not be more than 24% for a term of up to 40 years. Our debt consist of medical bills, past utility bills (you know the ones you will pay later and later never comes),school loans, loan on harley davidson etc... Because of our PAST decisions and poor financial planning, lay offs etc... we are in a mess and our credit scores are to low for a bank to loan us the money so instead of paying 20.00 here and 20.00 there we can pay off everything and make one payment. Please help or at least point us in the right direction to get help. Please Email jojomontroy@yahoo.com
I am a single-working mom but my hours have been severely cut. I have been trying to find work but everything I find pays less than it will cost me to have a sitter for my son all summer. He is 5 and going into Kindergarten in the fall. I receive no child support and I have no family as both of my parents are deceased and truly have nowhere to go. I have never asked for a handout from anyone and now I find myself desperate to keep our home. I am behind in our rent and facing eviction. I am afraid for my son and desperate. I am a hard worker and I know I will not be in this situation forever but I don't see a way out unless I get help from somewhere. I have been selling anything we have of value for the last 8 months. I have nothing of value left. Every place I have turned to consolidate expenses has turned me down because my income is too low now. PLEASE HELP! I WILL PAY THIS FORWARD IN THE FUTURE!

If you had told me two years ago that by April 201...

Posted by 0 on 2010-04-26 04:58:58

If you had told me two years ago that by April 2010 I'd be reduced to asking strangers for financial help, I would have said you were crazy! But, at any rate, here it goes...
My story begins on 1/08, but first let me give you a little background.
I was married in 1997 and had my only child in 1998. I didn't really need to work but when my son was 2 years old I got a part time job mostly for my own sanity.
In 2003 we divorced but I was able to get a great job through a friend. Things were looking up for my son and I as I was able to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. If you are wondering about childsupport, yeah, I am suppose to recieve 200 per month but I actually only recieve it about every 6 months after the county attorney threatens jail time.
As I worked I went to school part time to earn an associates degree in accounting and in 2006 I was promoted from my administrative assistant position to purchasing coordinator. In 2007 I went BACK to school to work on my BA. I had dreams of being the Controller for the company I worked for but on 1/10/08 those dreams were shattered. It was at 5pm on Thursday, I was wrapping up to go home when my manager asked to see me in her office. I had no idea that anything was wrong but with tears in her eyes she told me that she had to let me go. I didn't think I heard her right so I asked her to repeat what she said... I heard her right. She explained that they had to consolidate the department and I was the last one in the position. She said she had desperately talked with other managers to find another position for me even if it was back at entry level but she had had no luck.
I think that after I left that day and until Monday I was just in complete SHOCK!
I knew I was about to recieve my last pay check so for insurance purposes I sign up for unemployment benefits first thing Monday morning. I thought I would just sign up incase I wasn't able to find a job right away. Little did I know how true that would be.
I didnt get my first check until the end of April and by that time all of what little I had saved was gone and I was getting behind on my bills. I pawned everything that the pawn shop would take.
By 2009, I was at the end of my rope. I hadn't had a single interview in months and although I was getting EXTENDED unemployment benefits through the Federal Government there would be 4-5 weeks inbetween the extensions that I was without a dime.
In July of the same year, with no sign of relief in sight I sold everything I could and we moved back in with my parents.
The problem with this is that my dad is a violent alcoholic. Since we moved in my son has watched as my dad has hit me with anything he has at arms reach and sometimes even with his fists. He has had to listen as my dad calls me worthless, loser, low life, scum, and anything else you can imagine. My dad isn't AS mean to my son because he knows I'd kill him if he ever laid a finger on him.But it hurts my son to watch me get upset when I'm hit.
The ending of the story is near, I promise...
I recieved my last extended benefits check the first week of April. I signed up to have help with housing because I cant put my son through this anymore. We'll live under a bridge before I let him see my dad hit me one more time.
I'll continue to look for more work but in the mean time May is right around the corner which means my car payment is due again my insurance is due again, and countless other bills but my main priority is to get out of this house.
I hate having to ask but is anyone out there can help me financially? When I moved in with my parents I sold most everything so now I don't even have a couch or bed for another place.

Please help us in anyway that you can.

Sincerely,
Donna
