I have been trying to get my locksmith business started for 1 year now. I do some work but there are lots of things i still can't do because of lack of equiptment that i can't afford now. Things have been tough with my wife having to have surgery and many other stumbling blocks this year i try to put as much as i can back it to the business. My wife thinks that i'm not charging enough sometimes for my services but in most cases i'm trying to help other though these troubling times. I'm not like some locksmiths that will rip people off but instead i want to help people out. I understand that sometimes you can lock your keys out of your car and you just can't afford to pay someone money you not really have to unlock your car. I know that when my grandmother was living that she had to use locksmiths to unlock her house door after she was locked out. I know that people on fixed incomes are getting rip off by some locksmiths. I want to help all the grandma's and grandpa's out there that need locksmith services with affordable services and work with them so that they don't have to worry about taking money from their food budget but they can still have security they need. I have got some equiptment but i need a code machine and other equiptment to do the job right and make my services more affordable. I am in need of around $12,000 dollars for new equiptment and also for concrete work to put up a building that i have had purchased for a few years now and have not had money for concrete work.So that i can use it for locksmith store. I would also like to add employees later if i can get enough work for them to do. God has been good in keeping our needs supplied during these hard time. Since we have had lost of income it seems like every time that we don't where our next meal might come from he fills our table again. I just ask if you might could help us out with this business please do and i will pay it forward to others. This is something that is very hard for me to do is to ask for help. I've recently been disowned from my family, now its up to me to find a way on my own. I'm a full time student and the only break i get is winter break to come up with a concrete way to support myself. I found a job and a apartment but i won't be able to stay because housing closes when students leave.
I'm raising this money to pay for my apartment so i can work here and be able to go to school here which is a lot cheaper than new york. I'm working on constructing a home using earthbag techniques and I'm short on materials. I need a few hundred dollars for more sandbags, barbed wire as well as chicken wire and concrete to cover the outside of the structure. I'm using recycled doors and windows and lumber for flooring and other structural elements. My goal is to live off the approximately half acre of land I own, including farming wood for heating and cooking as well as food. I also need a new pair of boots, I'm wearing my boots and socks out fast as I'm doing all my digging to fill the bags with a shovel, no power tools or help from other people. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a small array of solar panels for electricity but I have no water storage or collection set up. To set up water storage and collection will take several hundred dollars as well. More solar panels and storage batteries are always desirable. If possible I can submit an Amazon wishlist, as I'd prefer to get assistance in the form of materials and equipment that I need, rather than just money, as I'm trying to get away from the monetary system entirely.

My husband (a Pastor) and myself have legal guardianship of two children who would be in a childrens orphanage or foster care had we not made the sacrifice to take them into our home and raise them. Our home is old and small (a trailor) but we felt obligated to give these children an opportunity to have a family lifestyle. We were recently victims of Hurricane Irene and although we were more fortunate than others in that we still have a livable structure; we did sustain extensive damages to our home that we are cannot afford to repair. I am unemployed because I have ongoing health issues and my husband receives a small salary based on what our church is financially able to give which varies from Sunday to Sunday...we own a company (concrete finishing) but business has been very slow due to the economy. Yes, we have tried other local resources and FEMA who can only give us $394.00 which will not pay contractor estimates or travel to our rural area. We have ruled out loans because we are not able to pay back so in essence....we decided to try this avenue and pray for the best. We would be grateful to get a used home or foreclosed home because the repair to our current home is probably more than the market value of it. I know there is other people like me but I need help. Me and my son was kicked out of my oldest daughter's house because i called the police on her husband for hitting a minor. Now I had to ask my exstep daughter and her family, if my son could stay with them and go to school until I get organized.He is staying there but I am homeless and have to sleep at the local recreation park area on some concrete.I take baths at the gym and have to hide my clothes in the bushes. My mother is in a retirement home because she has had MS for the past 35 years. I wash my clothes secretley there and have to resort to dumpster diving at the Winn-Dixie to get food. i recently found a wonderful woman on the internet, while I was taking a break from looking for jobs, and she wants to come stay with me. She has no one in her life and in need of money so we can get us a place for us and my son to live in together. I figure the rent, deposit, light deposit. food, and a $400 down payment on a used car and some beds to get started on would be around $1500-$2000. I am a single mom to 3 kids age 13-8 we came for a visit to see the kids grandparents and my youngest dad called me and told me not to come back. After 8 years of dealing with his medical problems and his drinking addiction. Anyways we are starting over with nothing I do not even have a vehicle a friend came and got me and we were only suppost to be spending the weekend with their grandparents. I have horrible credit due to having fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, IBS, osteoarthritis, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic migraines & depression. I have not worked since 2002 when I was injured at work and had to sue the company but by the time I paid Medicaid back & the lawyer I got a whole $4000 and a surgery that has left me with a permanent handicap due to it never healing right. We are staying with my parents but need are own place ASAP, my youngest daughter needs size 7/8 clothes, my oldest daughter needs 14/16 in shirts and size 3 in jrs. & we desperately need a bed we are sleeping on air mattresses and the queen size one has so many holes in it that it deflates every nite and I end up waking up on a concrete floor. My ultimate dream would be to have a tempurpedic mattress but would settle for any kind of new bed I can not ask for one on freecycle because my parents are worried about bed bugs getting into their house are state has had a bad outbreak of them. I also REALLY need a LAWYER the only income I have is my daughters social security check and I have a LOT of debt and I need 2 file for bancruptcy since I see no other way of digging myself out of the hole. I also will need to find out if I am considered common law married and what I need to do to make sure I have custody of my daughter and her alcoholic father can't get her. Both of us chrisitans have big hearts and accepted people in our lifes that have done nothing but stole from us and even let there envy tear us apart. My nightmare started the day after my birthday when my sister and my babysitter changed my whole life and took everything from me. I was sleeping upstairs when the law came and arrested me and I was totally oblivious. My babysitter whom was downstairs on my computer messaging my sister, had woke me up crying saying we were going to jail I totally confused just waking up walked downstairs immediately to my open door and walked outside to five guns pointed at me and telling me I was under arrest. I had never been in trouble my entire life, I have and now had a perfect record, and never would hurt anyone, everyone in my community knows me and knows that i would give the shirt off my back. Well 'i was arrested and charged with distribution of drugs and put in jail with a 100000 bond, I still confused after six days of being in local jail had finally gotten bailed out and found out that when my babysitter, which had kept my son the night prior nat my apartment because it was my birthday and me and my boyfriend had rented a suite to have a nice relaxing night for my birthday, had been making drugs and had all this hidden in the attic of my home. Totallu unaware I walked out of my home with five guns half asleep when my 11 year old son watched these cops throw me around on the concrete like a rag doll, scraped my skin all up, and slammed me head first into the ground screaming and fighting these cops to quit hurting his mommy. Totally unaware of what this girl had in my attic I was telling hese cops to search my home I had nothing to hide while they were being cruel and jerking me all around in hang cuffs. It was trultuey the worst day of my life. Helpless and handcuffed, crying, hurting and wanting nothing more than to comfort my confused son, I laid there helpless trying to figure out what was going on. The babysitter soon had came out of my apartment behind me with her hands up stating that there was stuff in my attic and stating also to the cops it was all mine. I was flabbergasted, freaked out, and speechless. I didnt have a ground to stand on.The apartment was in my name and she blamed everything that was in my attic she had been doing the night before the arrest on myself. So hours later I am taking to jail when much to my knowledge I was notified in jail that they released the babysitter, which was a third time felon in drug court, and on parole which i was unaware of. So six days had past and i was stuck in jail crying, in vigorous pain from the freezing cold temperatures and from sleeping on the concrete cause there was no bed in the holding cell i was locked up in with 11 other girls. It was six days later my parents were finally able to bail me out and my father had to put up his week vacation and sale things to be able to do. I came home and was notified that the very next day after my arrest my apartment was broken into and robbed of everything me, my son, and my boyfriend had owned. Down to our clothes, we had lost everything. After a few days things started to surface, i was completely positive that I was clean, had passed the drug test and prayed that God would bring to the surface any proof to prove that I had been set up. Well my parents which are christians had had my son the day prior to me getting out of jail and they had questioned him about what the babysitter was doing while she babysat him the night before the arrest. He simply replied and without knowing that everything that was found in my apartment was in the attic, he had told my parents she was in the attic and when she was questioned by him she simply replied checking it out and told him to get to bed. Thats when things started to slowly make since. My boyfriend the day after my arrest had came to the apartment and had picked up a few things during the day before the aprtment had been robbed that night and had picked up my two laptops and his also. Much to my surprise he had brought them to my parents where i am now living and I signed on to it like normal and went to check my facebook where when I had typed in facebook.com it came up on the babysitters facebook still signed in and we were able to see the email and text messages prior to the day of my arrest when she was babysitting texting friends inviting them to my home and using code talk stating she had some candy and they should chill. I was again speechless. Now due to all this and the chrges I am facing I am looking at 2-5 years if I dont get a lawyer and fight for my future, and with the proof I have i can have justice served, I have been in college three years with one year left, my boyfriend whom is governement in the military has been ordered by his supervisor to stay away till my court dates are over and prove i am innocent cant even help me and my family have and know i am innocent. i have lost custody of my son, and live with him and my parents and my whole life due to this girl is in shambles. After several lawyer consultations, I have been billed 5000 for my lawyer and due to jail time I lost my job. I am in desperate need of financial help to protect my future and the future of my son. i am already in debt to my parents who are both diabetics, and both have high blood pressure for 2600.00 which they didnt have, and now they are hurting for money. I am a very honest hard working person and I have never been in a situation my whole life where I asked for help from anyone. I am not asking for anyone to give me this but I am asking that if you would read this, and again I can prove anything you need, to give me work, help me raise the money to protect my future cause i am truly innocent and without a job i do not have the funds to pay for this lawyer, I would even agree on terms of a loan. You are my last hope. The chair I dream of is a Frontier all terrain wheelchair. For the first time I will have some freedom. I could even get to the nature park by my home. I am medically disabled, and am able to squeak by on regular monthly expenses. But I am living in a 'fixer-upper' that has not been fixed.

1/2 of my flooring is ripped up due to mold. I can't replace it, so cracked concrete is what I have to walk on. The rest of the carpet is disgusting from what the prior owners did to it.

I cannot move, as my mortgage is really low.

It costs 10K to renovate one of these 30+ year old units (condo) (800 sq. feet) not including things like the A/C (also needs replacing) and the stove.

In the 6 years I have lived here I have managed to save enough to replace the water heater when it rusted out, and the disposal for the same reason.

Otherwise, if this were a rental unit and I had a landlord, he'd be a 'slum lord' as these are not proper living conditions for me and my precious dog.

My name is Ashley and I'm a sophomore in college. I hate blogging but I figured I should type something up to tell you guys a little about me and my fund. Obviously, whatever I raise here will go straight to my college tuition. As you all may know college is expensive. I hate that you pretty much have to go IN debt with student loans and such, in order to better yourself so that you can get a nice career. It's all a fucked up system and unfortunately it's unavoidable.

Any contributions are very much appreciated- no matter if you send $1 or $100. I know the economy sucks and many people's finances are tight. Gas prices are reaching $5.00 and above. What kind of shit is that?! I predict a huge boom in bicycle sales this summer.

What I also predict is a lot of negative feedback about this. I am already anticipating getting spammed with hate emails. They'll probably sound similar to this: "Why don't you try going out and finding a job? What makes you think you deserve free handouts? YOU SUCK!" blah blah blah... go ahead and hit me with all of those punches. I won't blame you... I know how frustrating it can be to see someone get a little help while doing absolutely nothing while others are out there putting in concrete effort, struggling, making things happen. ok so here goes. for those of you who know my past know how far i fell into the depths of addiction. after spending 8 yrs under the department of corrections supervision. behind bars and on parole. I realized, again, who i am and where i came from. I was raised Right I Just Forgot. Today i am a father, dad and someday a husband.i'm almost 9 years clean. my life is good . however there are times when ,what i call "my Lion" awakens and tries calling me back to the life of debauchery i lived for so long/ to put my lion to rest i spend a lot of time fishing. hence my plea. for the last 3 yrs ive been professionally walleye fishing locally competing against other teams. sure for cash, but mainly for the the sense of peace and freedom i feel on open water,instead of the fear, loneliness and hatred i felt on the concrete ocean i came from. today i feel my peace and freedom being threatened, ive contacted corporations, and businesses both locally and nationally expressing my desire to partner with them and share my story of success However the the "economic crisis"which hit me personally. Until a month ago i'd been unemployed for a little over 3 months. has most corporations and businesses not sponosing this year.With that and having to take a job that barely pays the bills surely wont allow me to be on the water hardly at all, let alone in a professional series of circuits as planned. therefore i am reaching out to my friends and family, to their connections and resourses to ask for help. I live in Miami, but I dont fit here. My dream is to own a farm up north, raise organic foods and to eventually help to promote conservation and sustainability by creating a program for students and concerned people.
While I have not made concrete plans, I know the first part of the plan is to raise the money to buy the farm.
It is a big request, I know. It isnt rent money or a car payment. However as I think about how we are destroying our planet, I know that I need to work to find better ways to do thing, better ways to teach, better ways to live.

we need to stay in our school district for our boys to continue to receive the special education they are doing so well in, they are in 1st and 3rd grade. we have had to move 3 times in 14 months due to inability to pay rent. it is becomming harder and harder to find affordable housing in this school district. my husband is a union concrete laborer and has been on unemployment more then he has worked. we only have $800.00 of the rent for Feb., which is $1575.00/month. thank you so much-- anything helps--
