I am a former teacher and recovering addict. I have 18 years clean and sober. I lost my teaching position paying 24.62 an hour Oct.2010 and have been trying to catch up ever since. My father left me a house and I took out a mortgage in 2005. My payments went from 700 a month to 1700. I was skipping a month and paying 3400. It cost me my marriage and my peace of mind. It was embarrasing and overwhelming. I now make 10.055 an hour. I turned in one car (volunteer repo) and now drive an 04 minivan. My power steering pump went out and the driver window is inoperable. I pay my van payment and repo payment monthly.I also pay child support for my 11yr old. I keep her regularly every two weeks and sometimes have nothing but conversation for her. I get no tax return because her mother claims her. I am also a disabled vet. I am in a bind and I can't borrow from my bank. I just need a little help and a push. I don't give up because I can't.

This isnt a beg, it is a warning. Beware of a scammer who is operating on this site calling himself WALTER MICHEAL. He claims to be American, lures you into a Yahoo Messenger conversation wanting to befriend you. He offers you a loan at 15% interest which he requires upfront before you get your loan. He claims that his word is his bond. The guy is a peanut trying to take advantage of people looking for help, a real parasite of the lowest form. He is probably an unintelligent Nigerian criminal who deserves to burn in hell.

I am a hard working single mom with a 6 year old daughter and I have fallen on some desperate times. I have exhausted all of my resources, my bank account is overdrawn and I don't get paid for another week..I have bills due, rent is late, I am panicking. I just can't seem to get caught up..I do not get child support because my ex-husband claims we have 50/50 custody (I have my daughter more) and I can't even claim her on taxes this year even though I pay more childcare and provide health insurance for her. Last year I was declared permanently disabled by my doctor. ( I was on short term disability before that at work but they cut me off at 4 months instead of the year my seniority had earned). This sudden cutoff started my financial downfall into a spin. My job didn't "fire" me or "let me go", they just kept me active (out for medical issues), until I was no longer able to qualify for unemployment. If I had quit, then I would not have received any medical benefits any longer! In the mean time, I started the Social Security process, (which also does not allow unemployment claims) well. it takes 2 years to even see a judge, but somehow I am supposed to survive with no income until then! Ahhh but you are not allowed to work because then the judge feels you shouldn't be filing....( I mean, I am willing to lick stamps or something!) but strangely enough - I would be allowed (if doctor permitted something) AFTER I am approved, up to a certain amount of money. Whacked, right? So, here I am. I am supposed to see the doctor at least once a month for court purposes, but they don't really say how you are supposed to be able to afford to see him, if you can't have any income! My family has been so awesome helping me the best they can, but my parents are in a fixed income and elderly...my sisters have full families and their own struggles. I am so frustrated, I am not used to feeling like I can't take care of myself! I am sure you realize what kind of financial things I need help with..basic living. I am allowed to have food stamps - so thank goodness for that. I need assistance please with things like electricity, water, garbage, doctor, medication and gas for my car occasionally to get to the Dr...I do not have TV (about 1 1/2 years now) as it is a luxury, my parents offered to pay for my internet connection, which I am extremely grateful for...this is how I am able to post to all of you. I feel so weird posting this, and yes it is a bit humiliating. But I cannot stand to see my family go down the tubes because of what happened to me! Please consider helping me in anyway that you can. I have always helped others my entire life and I promise i will continue to do so as I can, can't help it - it is in my bones! LOL

We recently relocated for a new job that is going very well. The problem is that the house we were going to rent was not ready for us and we had a disagreement with the land lord. Long story short, we had to find a different place to live, have not received our security deposit back and we are taking the land lord to small claims court but that does not ensure we will get our money back. My family and I recently moved because of a new job. The new job is great and going well. The problem came in when the house we were going to rent was not ready for us when we were trying to move in. The landlord has refused to give back our security deposit. We are in the process of taking him to small claims court but that doesn't even ensure we will get our money back. Hello, I came across this site thanks to google, I am not sure whether or not this is actually a popular site, just had a good feeling.

I am a 29 year old army veteran. I would be happy to prove my claims (DD214, college transcripts, I.D and whatever else is asked). My 5 years of service hold a very distinctive highlight within the DD214 (release from the military papers) stating I served in a "zone of imminent danger". If the military as a whole represents 1% of the population, those of us who served in such a zone (real warzone, not greenzone) would make up about 1/10th of a percent of the population. To say my sociability has changed as a result would be a gross understatement, but I'm content in the path it has lead me to (a solitary philosopher, hoping to teach the wisdom discovered in the last 2000 years, to others. It would be great if I even found a few of my own insights that turned into a book. I already have 10,000 in student loans in my 3rd year of school, and have atleast another 3 or 4 years to go to even begin scratching the surface of this goal.

I'll even give my phone number out if there is anyone who wishes to speak. I'm an organ doner registered in the state of Ohio(hate that it is not possible to sell a kidney while I live) as while I do currently keep myself away from people for the most part, I have much love for those who find enjoyment in such a strange world, and I want to give the gift of life, even if these same people deemed unworthy of living out my goals.

It is too much to bear. I sold my home under contract to a black woman who turned out to be lying crack head. She refuses to pay me the 6,700 she owes me. I am so poor I cannot afford to file in court the 147.00 needed to go to small claims. Also the mobile home I purchased has 2 rooms gutted and unfinished. I need the bedrooms to have floors and walls. We can pay back if and when the judge awards it. We have real estate contract proving that they bought and they are clearly in default. We have always been hard-working people. Hi, I know my story is probably very common but I have a small family, there is my husband, our two children, and myself living together. My husband has been trying to find work but no one in hiring at the moment. I am currently working for a major corporation that claims they hire more employees than any other company. While that may be true they fail to mention that they like to only schedule their employees for 12-20 hour work weeks and pay every two weeks. Right now I am stuck there because I can't find work elsewhere and I have to drive about 50 miles round trip to work and back which means I'm spending roughly $100 or more out of each paycheck for gas just to get back and forth to work. Because of low hours and spending so much in gas I am having a hard time paying household bills. I don't have cable or satellite television, any paid for cell phones or land-line phone, currently using free government phone, only reason we still have internet is because I am trying to attend online schooling. First, let me thenk you for taking the time to read. I have 2 small children. Their father has a new girlfriend who already gave birth and one on the way. Oh- didn't mention I am 45 years old! Well, this man ruined my life! I left him, got it together just to be laid off from my job. After one year on unemployment I am now being evicted, have the irs after me for claiming EIC (and can't provide whatever proof i need for them) filed for child support and he claims he has no job. I am in the army and im the father of a beautiful daughter. I am currently going through a custody battle so that i can be the primary custodian of my little girl. Im only an E4 in the army, so my pay isnt that great. I work a second job waiting tables just so i can make ends meet. I pay my lawyer 700 a month, thats $4300 so far! and i also am forced to pay my soon-to-be-ex wife $695 a month. Hello, I'm a 35yr old god fearing male married with 3 children. In 2008 my father passed suddenly due to cancer in several areas of his body. He owned and operated a small Roll-Off Waste Company, so what he did was rent out Waste Dumpsters for Residential/Commercial purposes for the disposal of waste and construction debri. At the time when he passed I was working for another waste company. We had planned for us to partner in the Roll-Off Company but due to his sudden passing we didn't get the chance to. In 2009 I lost my job with the waste company that I was working for. I Started carrying out the day to day operations of my father's business so that my mother and I could survive.

At the time of my father's passing he had some loans with his bank which he had taken out insurance policies that would cover the loans in case of death. One of the types of loans he had was a line of credit for $25,000 which the bank didn't offer any type of insurance for that note. My mother and I were left with this burden and since my father used his shop for collateral for the line of credit we're in jeopardy of losing it and the truck and some other equipment and assets that the bank claims is being used as cross-collateral in the case.

Our credit wouldn't allow us to assume the note and continue to pay on it,the bank did use some of the insureance proceeds from the other loans and apply to the line of credit around $5000.00 At the time of his passing the line of credit was delinquent. we were willing to continue to pay on the line of credit, but financially at the time money was tight. Eventually without us being able to assume the note,make payments,or get financing elsewhere to rectify the monies owed we were facing foreclosure on the property.

A judgement for foreclosure was entered last month,so I don't have whole lot of time before the property will go to auction. I desperately need to keep the property and equipment so i can make a living for my family. I'm a hard-working individual who's looking for a break and a blessing. The amount i need including all the fees,court cost etc. to retain my shop is around $35,000 The amount i need to pay off the bank for the shop and have adequate working capital so i can run my business and have opportunity for growth is $100,000

I am a victim who was attacked my a stray dog while walking through my small town on Feb 10, 2011. I immediatley ran to a house to get help and these nice people drove me to the hospital, where I was treated for stitches to my face, along with several "rabies" shots because of the stray dog. I worried for my safety as well as for my health, so the Emergency physician ordered me to take these Rabies Immune Globul)shots. I recently received the bill. I was not expecting to see $9,581.52. Now I am really devastated. How does a victim of a dog attack not get any help? I have made several attempts contacting and consulting with attorneys to find out my rights. Because it was a "STRAY" dog and no one claims the dog, I have no other choice but to be responsible for this Emergency Bill. I would like to post the actual Physicians Bill and a picture of the scars to my face. I won't be able to afford Plastic Surgery, but it's needed. I can live with the scar to my face (12) stitches from under my eye to my upper lip. I just need some help with that Emergency Room Bill. I have taken on another job selling cosmetics to others, yet this still isn't enough. If you or anyone you know may have crossed paths with, that has been a victim of a serious dog bite to the face, you will understand my needs, However for those of you that this has never happend to, please have it in your heart to view the photos.

When I took my G.E.D. years ago. Passed but never received it. I attempted to locate it. To no avail. 22 & 16 yrs ago. My children were born in the middle of my divorce and lost everything I owned .Spent 2yrs homeless. When I found another job and began to get back on my feet after 4 years. Went to work one day and the doors at that job were closed. I was homeless for A nother year. The State claims I owe them 20,000 dollars, Not to my kids but to them. Extremely obvious clerical issues with child support prove child supports blat en folly. Assistant States Attorney of child support only removed the case worker from my case. In the early 1990s, My files at Child support were mixed up between my two cases and some file to do With the STATE of MANE. This caused me to be mistakenly listed on license revocation. DVM completely had no records. I have not seen A tax return in 22 yrs. My job from 2000 to 2002 Ended cause the owner went to prison. I've lived in my folks basement now renting for near 5yrs. 41 years old now and worked At A injection Molding plant for the Last 5 yrs. Made supervisor but had to ask for it. Even though I was already doing that job. As the supervisor's that the factory went through during that period . Were all into substance abuse. And incapable to preform there duties. Not showing up.Or leaving in middle of shifts. I worked my way up to making 11 per hrs running several machines Several people would be paid to run during Day shift . I worked the 14 hour over night shift , Running those same Machines my self, Plus sup duties. These Day shifters had terrible attendance records as well. I lost my job two weeks ago. About to loose inter net phone and my UN employment is being contested by the factory. The real reason for my job loss. Is favouritism. But the person who they were favoring to replace. Me with, Said NO. LOL. Now the factory is in world of hurt. Unfortunately. Both my folks work there and are just before retirement age. My father has had several heart attacks as well. My Account says 0.00 over draft. To pay for A cab home from applying at A SuperMarket the other day. Which I didnt get hired.

I am a working mother of 3 kids. My eldest left school to help make ends meet. My 2nd is in University and his school fees has not been paid which means he could be suspended from attending classes. My 3rd is in high school which I may have to stop soon. I have been working for the past 20 years and saving every penny in every way until lately when my husband met an accident and every penny I had saved was used to pay for the medical bills as well as the claims needed to pay the 3rd party involved. Thanks for reading this posting. My grown daughter and I lost our jobs and our housing all at the same time this summer back in July. We were living from day to day on the streets and rested at bus shelters at night. We did find a temporary place to stay in September for a few weeks for which we are very appreciative and we are still looking for work.
I just found out though this morning that my storage unit in Virginia Beach is up for auction this Wednesday morning at 10 AM. In the unit is the car that our beloved Aunt bought for us. I have invested very much money to hold on to it until I could afford to have it repaired.
The storage company claims they sent a certified letter back on August 25, 2010 but it was never received by me or my daughter.

Hi, I'm Chris, I am 23, an employed college student & I live in southern California.

I am currently living in the Irvine area w/my family. My family is poor to the point of being destitute. I literally do not eat breakfast or lunch since we either do not have food or the food is of such low quality it will make me physically ill to eat it. I buy & only drink distilled water from a local market because it is the only clean source of water available due to contaminants in the public water system as well as the public water is mostly unfiltered reclaimed runoff water.

Educationally I am currently a student that wishes to study culinary arts but is forced to learn networking protocols due to lack of funding. Culinary schools are a specialty school which require a lot of money to attend. I am training for my CCNA+Linux Admin Certs at a local community college.

My first job was to a physician doing medical claims billing part time. This position had me mostly behind a terminal looking at a blinking monitor keeping track of patient records. Starting $8/hr end 9.50/hr. After leaving due to hours being cutback I got a temp job for a company collecting on medical leins. That didn't work out, so a couple months later got a job as a part of the Technical services dept at UCI medical center. Due to having a personal falling out with my parents at the time I was supposed to be hired, I was kicked out. Unable to go to the interview without a car I missed the opportunity until several months later when the position was needed to be filled again. At this point the project that the position was for had already been completed & the final checks were being done. The position only lasted 3 weeks. $15/hr for doing desktop support @ UCI medical center.

After working at UCI a "friend" of mine whom I've known since freshman year of high school told me he could get me a job at his work. Of course after several months of hearing nothing back I realize its just more of the So-cal area bullshit I am so used to.

Since then I have been hired as a model. The agency is setup so that the company accepts models which the models pay into a certain amount ($30) for the service of being sent information on potential upcoming modeling jobs(underwear ads, online catalog modeling etc).

Throughout all of this I've never made enough money to live independently from family financial support due to the unreasonably high cost of living in this area. $800 - $1200 to rent an APARTMENT. $500 - $900 to rent a SINGLE ROOM, NO GUESTS/GF. This amount may or many not include utilities.

The point of the post is to get help. Help by getting donations to help me start a home business in the style of the cottage industry. I have a small business opportunity I could start with $800-$1000 investment that would start me off on the path to independence. Through this I would be selling a specialized product which should net me an income of 3k per month which would allow me to reinvest into the business & provide me with financial independence until I am able to attend a nice Culinary University.

My dream is to be able to attend a nice cooking school & learn to be a skilled Chef.
