Posted by RustySt on 2012-05-22 15:58:37

I WOULD LOVE TO GET TO FL. BY DRIVING BECAUSE I HAVE MY DOG'S WHICH ARE LIKE MY KIDS THAT MUST GO WITH ME.
ANYWAY ABOUT 4MO.'S AGO I HAD THE CHANCE TO MEET FAMILY ON MY FATHER'S SIDE THAT LIVE IN FT. PIRCE FL. THAT I NEVER KNEW THAT I HAD, AND MY 2 GIRLS THAT HAVEN'T TALKED TO ME FOR ABOUT 15YR.'S .
NOW SOME WHERE AROUND 30YR.'S AGO MY FIRST WIFE AND I SPLIT UP, AND I DIDN'T GET TO SEE THEM FOR THE LONGEST.
SO WHILE THAT WAS GOING ON I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD EVER SEE THEM AGAIN , AND I MADE A REALLY BAD CHOSE, AND THAT WAS DOING DRUGS , THEFT SCAMS ,AND ROBING PEOPLE.
WELL I WAS VERY FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO GET OUT OF THAT LIFE BEFOR I GOT COUGHT BY THE LAW(keywords by the law)NOW THAT YOU KNOW THIS YOU MIGHT WANT TO HELP , AND THAT IS OK TO BUT I DO WANT TO HELP ANY AND ALL BY TELLING YOU THAT ANY TIME SOMEONE ASK YOU TO OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT SOTHEY CAN HELP YOU DERICT , " DO NOT DO IT" BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO SET UP SOME KIND OF SCAM .
AS YOU SEE THERE IS A PAYPAL BUTTON RIGHT AT THE BOTTOM , SO DON'T GET COUGHT UP IN A RUSH AND GET COUGHT IN THE SCAM.
NOW THAT YOU KNOW, DON'T GET COUGHT UP IN IT.
WHEN I CHANGED MY LIFE I WENT WHERE I KNEW I COULD FIND THE RIGHT KIND OF HELP, AND THAT WAS CALVERY CHAPEL COASTA MASE CALF. WHERE PASTOR CHUCK SMITH SHOWED ME HOW. 1ST. I QUITE THE DRUGS AND STEALING FROM PEOPLE, THEN I LEARNED HOW TO SERVIE OTHERS WITH WHAT I CAN DO EVEN THOUGH I DON'T HAVE MONEY.
SO NOW THAT YOU KNOW THIS MAYBE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND. I CAN NOT BE SCAMED IN TO OPENING BANK ACCOUNTS SO SOMEONE CAN TRY AND RIP ME OFF.
NOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME PLEASE TRY AND UNDERSTAND I REALLY DO WANT AND NEED THE HELP, AND I AM WILLING TO GIVE TO YOU PROOF ON WHAT THE MONEY IS SPENT ON ,HOW MEANY ARE WILLING TO DO THAT.
WHAT I NEED IS A BETTER CAR AND THE GAS TOGO OUT TO FL. THE COST OF THE CAR IS ABOUT $10,000.oo, THEN I WOULD NEED GAS CARD FOR GAS OUT TO FL. AND BACK HOME.
NOW I DON'T EXPECT JUST ONE PERSON TO GIVE ME THAT MUCH , BUT AS YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY PENNY'S MAKE DOLLARS, AND IF YOU STILL WOULD LIKE HELP SOMEONE THAT IS WILLING TO GIVE PROOF!!!! THEN PLEASE FILL FREE TO TRY ME, AND I AM WILLING TO SHOW YOU THE PERSON THAT I SAY I AM.

Hopping for a better situation

Posted by Gr8tful4lyfe on 2012-05-09 10:58:43

I am a 32 yr old mother of 3 who has never been in a situation of desperation such as the one I am about to present to you.  Early last year I worked at a job which paid more than enough money to take care of me and my children.  The problem was that the hours were from 3p-3a, which gave me no time to spend with my kids.  My oldest which is of school age only seen me on tue & Wed, which were my only days off, the rest of her time was spent with my sitter.  My job also had me work holidays and sad to say their birthdays as well.  Soon my daughters grades began to drop and my young children no longer wanted to spend time with me.  They cried for the babysitter and soon started calling me by my first name.  I went to my job and pleaded with them for a schedule change, they declined stating that my personal life wasnt their problem and they have 1000's of people who would love to take my place.  So I was forced to make a decision between money and my kids, I chose my kids.  I quit my job after saving enough money to pay the bills for a couple of months while I search for a job with earlier hours.  I felt this shouldn't be a problem due my previous work experience and my associates degree.  The 3 months I had given my self passed by very quickly without me finding new employment.  Because tax time was approaching and my lease was almost up I decided to use my tax money to find a much cheaper home (unfortunately in a much less appealing neighborhood) and use the rest of the money to pay for rent and utilities for another 3 months.  I have no family who can help me out and my kids father is nowhere around.  I have yet to find employment despite the many interviews and applications I have done.  A truck recently cracked the windshield on my car, my tires are bald, and the engine is going bad.  I cannot afford to fix these things and am now desperate to find a job before I lose my transportation. I would love for a great job lead or even an agency which can help me. A small donation would also help and if you send me your email address, as soon as I get on my feet I am willing to pay it back. For those who read this if u know of some job leads please forward it to me, thank you!!

Extended Family In Need

Posted by Gladys on 2012-05-02 02:58:37

What do you say when you are entreating an entire world of strangers to come to your aid? How do you sound deserving of their help? How do you express, without writing a novel, why you are in need, how you came to be there, how you came to choose this way of seeking help, and how very afraid you feel.
First, the reason I chose this method. I was feeling frustrated one night after being asked to work another fund raiser. While there is no doubt that the family is very much in need their financial security was markedly better than my own. I was wondering why it seemed that it was always people who already had some means at their disposal who got that kind of sympathy and help. Obviously I was feeling self centered but still the thought remained, what kind of resources were there out there for people like me, people barely above poverty level and struggling to keep from going under. So...I started searching the internet and came across references to "begging" online. I was shocked, I was appalled...I was hopeful. The anonymity of it was a big plus.
Feeling so hopeless, and out of control is very frightening for me. I work with the public. The street people call me Smiley because I try to always stay upbeat while at work and they know that if I can I will always help them with a dollar or two when they need it. There are many people ( even those who are only a few years younger than my 55) who call me Mom and have come to me for assistance both emotionally and financially. I have two adult children of my own and many more that have come through my household and are a part of my family even though they are not related biologically. I send my own Mother money a couple times a month. She lives on a fixed income that doesn't even cover here cost of living. I can no longer afford these things but I don't know how to cut off the aid to others even though I, myself, am in need of aid.
My husband and I come from poor families and were determined to make a better life for our own children. Since we both only had high school educations neither one of us are in well paying jobs but we have always managed to survive and our children never had to worry about whether Mom and Dad were going to be able to feed and clothe them. But things have gotten progressively worse this year.
I tried to start a small business in order to provide my oldest grandchildren and one of my children with a secure job and something meaningful to do. Trying to keep them out of the "system" and teach them to have self respect, and trying to provide a means for them to have financial security. But the business never picked up and we were funneling money into it...my daughter lost her husband and we were also supporting her household. The financial strain has put us in debt that we cannot pay. Our cars have broken down, there are three running vehicles for six drivers to use getting to work and looking for work but no money to repair or replace them. My daughter and her children are living in my home, having lost theirs, and my husband and I are staying with my youngest and her family. Her husband was recently laid off and she is expecting her second child. My husband had to have surgery and that put him off work for six weeks, and now in order to keep his job we have to somehow pay for hearing aids ($3000 for the least expensive ones). Although it is hard we have stuck together and are helping each other as best we can.
The problem is that I see no end in sight. Just the electric bill is $6oo a month thru the winter months. Fuel is outrageous. Food for this many people (5 adults, 3 late teens, and 3 small children) is very expensive in this state. Mortgage payments, gas for cars, and phones...these are things everyone has to pay. I know there are many who are far worse off than I, at least we still have roofs over our heads. But the output is so much higher than the income and each month, each WEEK, sees me feeling a little more desperate. How will I, will we, end up? Will we all be living on the street next year? The interior of Alaska is no climate for the homeless. I don't know what it will take to make this better, to make my family secure but I hope there is help out there for us.

Help Us Start Over

Posted by openyourheart4me on 2012-04-14 13:58:58

My daughter and I are in need of finding a place of our own. These past couple months have been extremely hard because of the death of my mother. We were all living together and my mom was splitting the rent with me and I was working to take care of her. She was sick with Cancer and she had the operation and we all thought she was going to be okay. She did not recover like we expected and she ended up going in a Rehabilitation Center and we visited her often until she came home. I am the youngest of her children. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister and we are called the Berry 5. We were allways known as the Berry Family from the time we were little. My mom started to do better and we were so happy to have her home. It came time for her to Start Chemotherapy and Radiation. She was scared but I and my sister talked her into it because we knew the doctors had told us that she needed it because the cancer had spread to her lymp nodes and when they did the surgery they were not able to get everything. My mom had done one week of Radiation and she went in for one session of Chemo. The same day she had Chemo she seemed fine and then 2 days later she was having fevers, throwing up and so extremely weak. I thought it was because of the Chemo because that is what was explained to us. My concern was she couldn't keep anything down. I needed to give her medication for her Diabetes and High Blood Pressure but everytime I gave her anything, it all came up and so I was so scared because her blood sugar was high and I didn't want it to get any higher. She began to complain of stomach pain and I thought it was another side effect of the Chemo. For a couple days of her vomiting and having diarrhea, I was able to get some fluids down her and it seemed to stay. Little by little we both thought she was doing better. Her strength was not there though, it was difficult for her to even get up to go to the bathroom. The following day she continued to vomit and I was scared so I told her she needed to go to the hospital, because I felt that they could help her more. They could give her medications through an IV and they could find out why she was so weak and everything. She was scared and did not want to go but I convinced her. The ambulance came and took her to the hospital. I tried to follow her but I had to pick up my 11 year old daughter from school. I did go and they would not let me go back right away. I told them my mom had been brought in and they told me she wasn't checked in yet. About 20 minutes passed and I went back up to the window and they told me they would see if the doctor would let me back there and they were saying my daughter couldn't come back there because she wasn't 14, I told them she is only 11 years old and I'm not leaving her in the waiting room with strangers and that she was coming back there with me. They finally let us in and we went back to see my mom. I couldn't believe they had her hooked up to so many machines and she was on morphine and so out of it. I walked up to her and I said Ma, I'm here and she turned and looked at me. She was happy to see me, but then she told me that they told her, they found blood in her stools. I told her it was probably just do to her Hemorrhoids. but she said they told her it was positive for something. I asked her for what and she didn't know. I began looking for the doctor so I could ask questions but he wasn't around and everyone I talked to told me the doctor would be in soon to go over my mom's condition. I stayed with my mom, just holding her hand, telling her I loved her and that she was going to be okay. They came in to take her to have an ultrasound and my daughter and I waited. The doctor finally came in and told me that my mom had an abcess in her stomach that had burst. I said what are you talking about? He said that she had a condition called peridonitis and that the abcess burst and was releasing all this poison inside her stomach and her blood pressure was dropping dramatically. He then told me it was too dangerous for them to operate at that time because her INR level to to high. My mom had been taking Cumadin for a blood clot that she previously had and the cumadin made her INR level extremely high and her blood was not clotting so they said if they did surgery, she would bleed out. They said they needed to correct it by giving her lots of blood products and they gave her all kinds of strong antibiotics and blood and plasma. They were pumping so much stuff into her, I didn't know what to do. Her blood pressure was like 85/60 and then like 76/40 and it was getting lower and lower. They had her hooked up to so many IVs and then they told me that she was the sickest person they had in the ER. So many doctors and interns and students and nurses overcrowded my mom's room. I called my sister and told her what was going on and she came down to be with me and my daughter. They told us they would do all they could for my mom but that it didn't look good. I began to pray, my mom had always taught me to pray and give things over to god. As the night went on, they decided to put an IV in my moms neck, they said it was more direct and if and when she went to surgery it would be better to have that in place. They made us leave the room and they had like 10 people in there with there machines and cameras and equipment to help guide them where to put the IV at. I had never gone through this before and I was so scared but I was keeping my faith. One doctor wanted to talk to me and my sister alone and I didn't want to hear him telling me anything negative. He asked us a lot of questions concerning my mom's health and history. He then told us that she was in acute renal failure and that her colon was damaged where the abcess bursts and fecal was being released into her abdomen. This is the last thing I wanted to hear. I asked him if they could fix it, he said they would do all they could but that their main focus was trying to bring her INR levels down because they were dangerously high. She was also anemic and that is why she was so weak, her blood level was extremely low. They were continuously giving her blood products, antibiotics and plasma. My sister decided to take my daughter home with her. I told her I would call her when I knew when they were going to do surgery. The surgeon had spoken to us and said that it was a good chance, and that operating was her only chance and once her blood level was corrected that they would go in and repair the damage. I felt some what relieved but as the night went on she was in a fight for her life. The main doctor working on my mom's case came and told me that her breathing was not getting any better and that he needed to put her to sleep so he could intubate her and put a breathing tube down her throat. He said it would be good to have anyways so that she would be ready when they went to surgery. There was nothing I could do except walk out of the room and wait. I continued to pray and wait and pray and wait. Hours went by and I would walk and peek inside the room and see my mom's blood pressure increasing some, this gave me hope but then the doctor would come and tell me it wasn't looking like she was improving and that we needed to prepare that she might not make it through the night. i couldn't believe what he was telling me. I called my sister and my brother and told them , they were praying as well. I didn't know who to listen to, one doctor is telling me it's hopeless and the surgeon is telling me it's a good chance she would be okay once taken to surgery. I sat in the hall because they wouldn't let me back in and they stayed with her at all times, monitoring her and giving her medicine and all the blood and stuff back to back. Then they came out in the hall and told me they were ready to take her to surgery. They said she might not hear you but you can still talk to her. I walked up to her lying there, so still and I told her how much I loved her and i told her to fight and that we would do it togther and that I would be here when she woke up and that I was not leaving her. The surgeon put me in the OR waiting room. I was all alone in there by myself. I waited and waited and only 20 mins went by and a security guard told me there was a cafe there and if I wanted to go grab a cup of coffee that I could. I went downstairs and got the coffee, as soon as I reached the OR floor I saw the surgeon standing there, he walked over to me and he said, I'm sorry but your mom's heart stopped during surgery and we revived her but then it stopped again and he said I don't we can get it back. My whole world just crumbled, I began screaming and crying and I fell to the floor. I was just askig God why. Why is this happening? This security lady came over to comfort me and began telling me how sorry she was and asked me if I had any family I could call. I called my sister and told her and she said she was on her way down. She lived in another city about 45 mins away. I was still on the ground just broken and this lady began to tell me that God would help me and give me the strength to go on. She asked me if I had any children, I told her I had a daughter, and she told me I needed to be strong for her. I wasn't trying to hear all that. My whole world was ripped right from under me. A couple of doctors and this lady helped me off the floor and the surgeon that came out , came out again and told me they would take me back to see her. They brought out a wheelchair and wheeled me back there and when they opened the door, my god I just saw them on top of her doing chest compressions and I was just screaming and then the surgeon is telling me I need to make a decision because everytime they do that, they are hurting her and he said, you don't want her to suffer anymore. I was just waiting on my sister4. I didn't want to make that call but I didn't want them pounding her chest in so I told them to stop. It killed in me inside. They wheeled me over to her and I just cried. My mom was only 60 years old and she had her whole life ahead of her and I don't understand why any of this happened. She was such a beautiful person and she had been a christian for 33 years. SHe loved the lord and she raised me and my siblings up in the church. I couldn't believe that she was gone because I had prayed and prayed and I just knew that God would spare her life. I lost my real father at the age of 16 and even then I didn't know him. I always had my mom and she remarried when I was 11 years old. She had been married for 19 years and my step father passed away in July of 2008. He was a sickly person and she took care of him and nursed him for all those years. He had diabetes, high blood pressure, prostate cancer, he was on dialysis for kidney failure, he had a four by pass surgery and he was in and out of the hospitals for years. She suffered so much seeing him suffer and taking care of him, he took what little strength she had. But because he was her husband she did all she could to help him and she loved him so much. So now all remains is just me and my siblings. It's hard because my mom was my best friend. I can't remember a time when she wasn't around. We did everything together and we lived together for years and I took care of her. I wanted so bad for her to be okay and to make it through surgery, I had been taught for years about the love of Jesus and I couldn't understand what he chose to take her away from her children and grandchildren. We had a two bedroom apartment and she had her room and my daughter and I shared a room. After she died, I went home that morning with my sister and I stayed over there for the remainder of the day. The whole day was just hurting, crying and calling the rest of the family. I felt so bad because my youngest brother, say youngest because he is the youngest of my 3 brothers, even though they are all older than me. He came to the hospital to see my mom but he thought she was still alive and the doctors didn't tell him, they let him in the room and she was already covered up and he walked in and was like, it's over ?? he couldn't believe it , he just broke down. One of the nurses that was in the OR called my sister and he was crying, apologizing to us because he thought my brother already knew. He told us how sorry he was. Now my family is broken, my mom was the rock that held us all together. We didn't have money growing up, we didn't have a lot of the finer things in life but we had love. She loved us like no one could. She did it all for her children and most importantly she taught us about God. She lived her life for Jesus, she would pray on a regular basis, read her bible daily, go to church often as she could and when things looked hopeless she took them to god in prayer. She prayed not only for her children, grandchildren and siblings but for people all over the world, she would pray for all the countries and for the sick and homeless and anyone she could pray for. She gave over the years endlessly to Trinity Broadcasting Network, Feed the children, CBN, David Terrell Ministries, Boys Town, Children International, Food For All and to so many others. Month after month, year after year she was giving. She taught us how to give and there were times when we would just make food and take it to the park to give to the homeless, bottled water, sandwiches, noodles, chicken or whatever we could. She would never turn down a person needing help or asking for spare change, she would give freely. She would tell me all the time, it's better to give than to receive and that god would bless me. So I began giving as well, I would call and donate and try to help whenever I could. My mom was also a big giver to the goodwill. Over the years we gave so much, and everytime they would ask if we wanted a donation paper for a tax write off she would say no. she didn't want that, she was giving freely and she didn't want anything in return. That's who she was, she was the person who would mentor you and talk to you about Jesus and how over the years he brought her and our family through so many trials and tribulations. SHe praised god for everything, for the good times and the bad. She used to always tell me to be thankful and to praise god. Now there were times when i was suffering so much and I didn't want to praise god, I wanted god to help me and at the time it seemed like he wasn't. My mom was always there to tell me baby, hold on.. give your burdens over to the lord and he will help you and supply all your needs. I realized that he did just that. I remember when she had surgery for the cancer and she was wondering why god allowed her to come down with that. It was hard for her because her faith was shaken then. She couldn't believe after she was faithful to him for so many years that he would allow her to suffer so horribly and there my sister and I were telling her that she would be okay, that God loved her still and he had not forsaken her and that he would bring her through this. She was so discouraged at the time but we would not let up. She couldn't believe this was her children mentoring and encouragiing her as she had done for us over the years. She told me, she was happy and she felt relieved that her living and everything she had taught us was not in vain. She was thankful to God that we were listening to her and by example we followed her footsteps. She began to get better and we thought she would be okay. My mom was a pure Christian, she didn't drink, didn't smoke, didn't do drugs, didn't curse. She would make you turn the tv channel if you were watching something that cursed. She loved her cowboys though. Her favorites were Bonanza, The rifle man, High Chapparal, Wagon Train, The Virginian and so many others. She also loved the old shows, the clean shows, the original dennis the menace, columbo, family affair, petticoat junction, I married joan, hawai five o, the streets of san francisco, i spy, murder she wrote, in the heat of the night, matlock, the big vally, dr quinn, little house on the prairie, family ties, good times, 227, what's happening, the jeffersons, the brady bunch and so many others. Her favorite game shows were The price is right, deal or no deal, let's make a deal, the newlywed game, match game and who wants to be a millionaire. I loved spending time with my mom, she was someone I could always talk to and she would never judge me, she would tell me how much she loved me and how proud she was of me. She taught me how to carry myself as a lady and she taught me how to stand up for myself and I owe her so much. I felt like I let her down that night she was in the hospital and I told her she would be okay and that I would be waiting for her when she woke up but she never woke up. I felt that made me a liar. I had been taking care of my mom for months and I was preparing her meals, giving her medications on schedule and was taking her to her appointments and running errands for her. My mom had been weak for so long because before she found out she had cancer she was bleeding perfusely having vaginal bleeding and they made her very anemic. Before surgery she had 4 transfusions and then after surgery she had 2 more. She never got all her strength back and after she had the first surgery, she was too weak that they sent her to Ballard Rehabilitation and they were working on getting her strength back and getting her up and walking. She did so much better when she was in there and when she came home, they sent out a home health nurse, a physcialy therapist and an occupational therapist. They began doing exercises with her and the physical therapist thought it would benefit my mom to have some help with getting around. So she ordered her an walker , the kind that had a seat on it, she ordered her a wheel chair, a raised toilet seat with the rails and a shower chair and shower bench. So when my mom started walking more better she was using her walker all the time, it was helping her because she had the support to keep her from falling and when she got tired , she could just sit down. I did all I could to take care of her, on a daily basis. She was not strong enough to shower herself, so I bought the shower hose and I began to shower her daily, dress her and do everything for her but I loved her so much and I didn't care what I had to do, she was my mom. There were days when she thought she was a burden to me and she would tell me, that I work to hard and that she was sorry she was not able to do things for herself and i would immediately tell her to stop talking like that. I would tell her, she was my mom, I loved her and wanted to look after her and that she wasn't a burden on me. That she took care of me when I was little and over the years and now it was my turn to take care of her. She told me a couple weeks before she passed away , you said, you really stood by your mom, when all the others went on their way. you stood by your mom. She said, I don't know what I would have done with out you. She said I don't know how I would have made it and she said god is really going to bless you and he will remember everything you did for your mother. She told me how special I was and now that she is gone , I remember everything she ever told me. It has been so hard, going through all her things and seeing all the cards and letters she gave me over the years. Everybody keeps telling me it will get better but I don't see that happening. I can't go one day without crying for missing her so much. I am grateful because she is not in any more pain but I am hurting so badly without her. I have a big sister but we have never been that close, she seems to want to spend more time with me now but nobody could ever feel that empty space inside my heart for my mother. I recently moved in with my brother and I want so desperately for me and my daughter to be able to get a place of our own. It costs so much to pay for first and last months rent and I have this old 1994 car that has been giving me so much trouble and I am barely scraping along , just trying to make it. I would appreciate any help I am given. If anyone can find it in their heart to help me and my daughter move out and get our own place or simply help us with the day to day necessities, it would be greatly appreciated.

Help Us Start Over

Would Be Grateful For Any Help.

My name is Jamie. I'm a 24 year old disabled college student ( I have celebral palsey ) studying to be a LCSW . A few years ago, I lost my Daddy to diabetes and with his death, I lost the only person who ever believed in me.

My mother is abusive both physically and emotionally. Because of this, I chose to be homeless instead of going back to live with her. I was homeless for almost a year and never panhandled . I just went without and lost a great deal of weight -- getting very sick.

I was diagnosed with PTSD while my father was alive because of my past and it only got worst after he died . Still , I pushed on. I got a little apartment and got myself back in school.

This year, I lost my grant because one of my prof failed EVERYONE in that class and it affected my others as well. Because of this, I had to pay for classes myself and have been pretty much broke ever since.

I never begged while homeless , but I'm doing so now.

I should also mention that I let someone stay with me for a while and she took full advantage of me and put me futhur into debt-- but I refused to let her be on the streets in the cold because I remembered what that felt like.

Everything that could go wrong this year has but I refuse to give up.

I need money for food as my food stamps have run out this month. My phone and cable are about ready to get shut off as well and I need both for school.

I'm just as poor college student doing my best to get by. Please help me.

Cable: 53.00 needed by the first
Phone: 60.00 - ASAP

Food: Any amount.

Thanks again.

Hello, the fact that I am writing this is making me realise that this has been the worst day of my life.

For the past two years I have been in love. A whirlwind romance which gave me a release from my miserable abusive upbringing. I moved in with this beautiful, kind, intelligent girl who I had fallen for. My parents did not approve and they saw her loosen their iron grip on me, she gave me the confidence that I never had to stand up to them.

I had to decide between my parents who had habitually beaten me, put me down, turned me into a shell of a person. or the only person that ever has and probably ever will love me. I chose her, and I haven't seen or heard from my parents since, part of my believes it was a perfect excuse for them to rid me of the son who had only ever disappointed them.

I was in dreamland, I was invited into her home and from day one it felt more like home than the cold loveless one I was brought up in. Everything was great for a few months and then she left a highly flirtatious conversation up on facebook with a man in which she was bragging at how many other men she had slept with in the past year. My life turned on its head. I gave her another chance after weeks of pain, tears and excuses. She convinced me everything was going to change. Three months on to that day I hear through a friend that she with another man in a nightclub the other day.

I am lost, I am trapped. I have no money. My parents do not care about me and the one person that I have ever loved has betrayed me multiple times.

I feel humiliated, i feel physically sick, I am mentally and physically exhausted. I have nowhere to go, i need to escape. If I leave her then I am homeless if I stay with her then I am bound to being abused again, this time not physically as with my parents but mentally. My heart cannot take this torment anymore.

My mouse is hovering above booking a flight to Amsterdam tomorrow. I have chosen there because of the large UK community. I want a new environemnt, i need to meet people for the first time in my life. I want to live and work somewhere else but I just do not have the funds to do it. I have been reliant on people all my life and I just need a chance to completely start fresh and I cannot do this round here or in this country. I need to travel, i need to experience things which I have never experienced. I do not deserve any charity but I am desperate, so very desperate. I am literally begging for any help.

Thank you so much for reading

Under threat of eviction

Hello,
I am a single mom, with a disabled child. I was hit with a double surprise last month in the loss of 2 of our social security checks. I had intended to pay the past due water bill last month, but this situation threw a monkey wrench into an already precarious situation. According to social security, we lost the checks because my son turned 16. These agencies never pre-warn you, and if they even attempt to notify you, they send multiple conflicting information, which is not clear on what they are doing.
Because the water has been turned off, and the bill finalized, I now have to pay a total of 343 in order to have the service restored. The utilities company contacted my landlord, who has issued a 7 day notice to me because the lease says that I cannot have the utilities turned off for any reason.
I trust God, and I know He will come through for me somehow, because He's never failed me, but I am getting a bit concerned, as I have exhausted all options. God usually moves very strongly when that happens, so when I saw this site, I figured I'd try it, because you never know what direction He will move from.
The local assistance agency says they can see the loss of income that created this emergency, but want me to provide proof of income replacement in order to get the assistance; which I cannot yet do as I am still unemployed and seeking work.
It's amazing to me; the timing of this. After being forced to wait almost an entire year, due to lack of finances; to take my licensing exam and pay for my license to work, I chose to sacrifice a bit on the bill in order to do this, because I cannot work without the license. I did the right thing, and did not break the law in violating that rule, but waited until I could get my license to practice massage therapy. Now, I am facing the loss of our home. Even if I attempt to set up advertising, the arrangement will take more than 7 days to set up the deals and get the clientele in, and I won't get paid until the clientele have redeemed their deals. My license just arrived, and the doctor that was going to hire me, has "changed the direction of his business." So needless to say, my time is limited and I need some immediate help to remedy this situation. I appreciate your time and interest in reading this, and any assistance you can offer. God bless.

wedding help!!!!

Hi, I'm new to this and also a tad embarrassed but i really need help towards my wedding on 29th feb 2012. I have recently taken on a 2nd bar job to try and help but I am now exhausted, i hardly see my children and with only less then 5 weeks to go we are still no where near the funds needed and stressing more then you could believe. we aren't having a big over the top wedding, we are being married in church and then a party in a pub hall afterwards but even the smallest of weddings mount up. You may think well you chose to do it, well yes but our main reason for getting married (other then loving each other) is for our children, so that they have a stable and together family life, with the security that marriage offers. Please any small donation would be greatly appreciated and once the wedding is sorted and finances stable I will be donating to others that need the help.
Hi,
I am a trainee teacher at university. I am also a mum of 3 with 2 step children. I work in school as a teaching assistant to supplement my university costs as well as to gain useful knowledge for my course. As an older student, with other commitments my course follows the part-time progression route and will take me 4.5 years to complete as opposed to the standard 3 years. This means that my cost extend for an additional 18 months and whilst I love my training, current job and am excited about my future career prospects, as with most things money can be an issue and at times is very tight indeed.
I am due to start placement on the 6th February and this will inevitable incur additional costs. If possible, I would be really grateful for any donation, whatever the size, to ease my mind during this time.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and for your donation should you chose to leave one.
Claire

Helping my daughter honor a friend

Posted by allibeech on 2012-01-18 09:58:10

Hi..my name is Alli. Thanks for taking the time to read my page.
My daughter, Brooke, is 14. She tragically lost her best friend in an auto accident shortly before Christmas. They were inseperable, and chose to spend most of their free time at the local no-kill animal shelter volunteering. The cats and dogs meant very much to them, and they had both decided to pursue careers working with animals.
After her friend's funeral, Brooke made a pledge to raise money in her friend's name to donate to the shelter. She has put her heart and soul into this, but as we are in a mostly rural area, it hasnt been that easy. Brooke has a goal of raising $5000 by what would have been her friend's birthday in July. I know it is a lofty, and perhaps unrealistic goal..but this means so much to her. Would you be kind enough to contribute? Thank you ever so much, and God Bless-

need to work to stay in school and get life on track

Posted by justneedboots on 2012-01-05 20:58:55

Hello, I am a young college student who is struggling to stay in school financially and better my life. Growing up my family actually went down in class from working class to working poor. My old home was and still is in terrible shape. The loss of relatives and equaled loss of income sources, and the house just fell apart and turned into a hoarding house. As a child, I dreamed of having more and it was suggested that the way to upward mobility was through college. I chose to take this route, but I didn't realize how difficult it would be for a low income student to stay in school. If I don't get and opportunity to make some money while in school, then I can't finish.
I need a full-time 2nd or 3rd shift job, or I need part-time job where I am guaranteed at least 20 hours and $8.00 per hour. It is a struggle to stretch a financial aid refund check for literally 6 months to cover expenses during school and living when school is not in session. I need this job to be in Greensboro, NC. I am open to all job possibilities, but I need to not travel with this job. I have to just go to the job site, perform my task, and go home. I have many skills, but my best assets are my trainability and enthusiasm for learning. I also am resourceful and will adapt to whatever situation I am in. If you would like contact me for a position you may email me at lwillia3@ncat.edu. I would greatly appreciate any opportunity that could come my way. Thank you in advance, and God bless.

real family needs holiday help!!!

I know everybody has a story and there are probably plenty of people on here who really need help. I am sure if you are reading all of these that it is hard to tell who is real and who isn't. This is the first time I have ever done anything like this and to be quite honest, I am embarrassed and ashamed to put it out there. We have always paid our bills and been on time. Up until two years ago i had a 720 credit score too. That is over with. You see we had been foster parents for the last 5 years and had really enjoyed it. In fact we adopted a child through fostering. He is our fourth child, the other three are our birth children, and he is amazing to watch. We know we were doing it for a purpose we might never know what it is but i know I have a son from it that I would have never known.
About two years ago we took in a sibling group of four that were my nieces and nephews. This brought us to 8 children. Our car was too small, our house was too small and for about the first year we weren't receiving any financial assistance. My grocery bill every month was over $1500.00. As you can imagine, most months I had to choose between feeding my kids and paying a bill. I chose to feed them. In doing this we had a home foreclose on us, we had a car repossessed. I couldn't help it. We did the best we could and limped along.
About 6 months ago we discovered the sibling group was being physically abusive to my children. We couldn't help them and hurt our children any longer. We made the difficult decision to let them move to a therapeutic home that would be more of a fit for them. One where they could be together. It was a difficult decision and one that I struggle with everyday. I love them and miss them but was forced to make a decision for my family. I had to choose them.
In the mean time we have tried to get back on our feet but you know how the snowball seems to roll sometimes. You feel like you cant catch a break and wonder why all this stuff has to happen to decent people just trying to do the right thing.
As we speak i can't pay a car payment of 402 which makes it two months behind and if it rolls into january it will be three months and that means they start repossession. I cant pay phone and gas and have until the 21st to do that or they go off and i don't have a thing for christmas for my kids. Its not like i spent too much money on them and cant pay my bills. I don't have anything. I have about $100.00 in the bank to make it until January 1 and I simply don't know what to do.
If you are out there and read this and it touches your heart please help. I have never felt so helpless in my whole life.
I have already sold off anything I had of any value.
I figure if i could get $2500.00 I could get groceries and pay the utilities and car and have a little bit left over for something for the kids for Christmas.

Won't you please look inside your heart and give something, anything.

Economic Hardship

My family and I have fallen on hard times. We have been trying to get caught up on bills since we both lost our jobs earlier in the year. Although we have since found employment, neither of us make enough to pay all of the necessary bills. At this time we are homeless. We had to make a choice to lose the car or to lose our place. We chose to lose the place and not the car because we need the car to go to work and to the doctor. I am asking for someone to please help us. I have asked everyone in my community for help like the Salvation Army but they did not have any funds. I need 300 dollars for the deposit on a new place. Thank you and God Bless.

Good person in bad times. Need money, but mostly prayers.

I don't really like asking others for help because I have always thought I could do things on my own. I learned that this is just not true, at least for myself. I learned this by fighting my addiction to pain medications. I tried to quit countless times with out help and was unsuccessful. Close to death I went to treatment for my addiction in May of 2010. I stayed the recomended 90 days and chose to stay an additional 5 months. The good news is that I was able to do it with help. I just had to be willing to ask for it. I am now trying to get back to my job in the pharmacy feild. As you may guess, there are a lot of hurdles to jump with my situation and feild of my profession, but I truly enjoy it and think I am good at it. Hopefully I will be able to go back to work within the next year. Until I do, I could greatly use any support and prayers I could get. Thank you

Coal Mining

Hello! I'm a 28 year old father of three in desperate need of a job. I moved to Eastern Kentucky in 2008 due to lack of work in my home state of Ohio. I have three children and no way to provide for them. I Chose mining as a career choice, but was unable to find a job. I have been trying hard for three years to find a mining job. I have both a KY underground and surface mining license. I am currently attending college and so is my wife. We have no help with child care, so we are having to work around each other and college to try to make it. I have carpentry and HVAC skills, and a 3.8 GPA in college. If anyone in the Eastern, KY area or elsewhere can help my wife and I would be forever grateful.

Please Help A Small Family

Posted by Elfay on 2011-09-06 12:58:56

We will be homeless August 31, 2011. There are 2 adults, including myself. We have a 12 year old special needs son which makes it difficult to get full time employment or any employment.

My husband has cancer and has a difficult time with every day living. And does not qualify for disability nor does our son qualify for Social Security. We don't qualify for TANF either only foodstamps.

We are flat broke, the last bit of our money, which was going to go for the rent and utilities was stolen.
If anyone could help us we would appreciate it. We both want to work but can't find work.

Please help us before we are out in the street. How do you tell a child who has Aspergers Syndrome he doesn't have a home any longer? It just breaks my heart this is our last few days here unless we get help with our rent and utilities.

We tried all the charities and churches, they are all out of funds right now.

Thank you and God Bless.

Update: we haven't gotten any donations or anything. We are packing up the car and leaving tomorrow. Our small family will be split up. I will go into a shelter and my son & husband will go to FL to stay temporarily with his mother. She only has room for 2 other people.

I added my paypal account hoping someone will take pity on us.

Thank you and God Bless.

Another sad update: my husband and son drove 600 miles to FL on Thursday and it was dreadful, the car was packed to the max. We have a small car it it was totally over loaded. What else was he to do? Our son has Aspergers, the only way he can survive a crisis such as this is is some sense of normalcy, meaning he needs his things, things that mean a lot to him even if they seem trivial to use they are not to him. So we loaded up the car with books, games, dvds, what have you.
Well, they get to my husband's mother's house in South FLA and instead of a loving welcome they get the worst from her. She is all over my husband and calling him all kinds of terrible things. She's down on her grandson, all over him. These 2 came 600 miles away and this is the welcome they got. Needless to say they are leaving FLA and returning to GA. Out of shear desperation. We will have to go into a shelter. We have no where to go. Noone has donated a dime to us. Just advice. Advice is nice but it doesn't pay the rent or utilities.

Does anyone even read these posts besides us who post them? I would love to hear from success stories that came from here. It would be a huge confidence boost. Rescent success stories within the last 6 months to a year.

My faith in God has increased within me, however my faith in humanity is failing.

We are no different than most of those also posting on here. Our needs are no more in demand. We all have a common bound, we are desperatly trying to keep our families together, through this crisis that seems to keep getting worse.

My cell phone is a pay-as-you-go, I only pay 25.00 a month for 300 mins, unlimited texting & net usage. 25.00 is an awesome deal if you have 25.00. I don't have it. So now I can't even talk with my husband to find out when he's coming to ATL (my service will be over September 7) or even post on here or check my paypal if some kind soul donated anything. We didn't really have it last month but we figured it was worth it, especially since we haven't had a pc for years. This is our only link to the internet - this and the library.
Some would say a cell phone is a luxury, not if you don't have a landline, we haven't had a landline in 2 years. Its become an absolute nessisity.

We don't smoke or drink, take illegal drugs or spend money on frivilous things. My clothes are beging to get shabby as are my shoes.

If anyone can donate a cell phone card of 25.00 it would be most welcome. I feel terrible asking but its my only link to my family in FL. Without it I have no phone. Forget the net I can live without it but not to be able to call my husband is terrible. its scary not having a phone.

My husband has a Safelink cell phone - a Welfare pay-as-you-go they only allow one per house hold. He gets a set amount of mins for free a month, you can chose to roll over your mins too on some of their plans. So mine is the only paid cell phone.

Thank you for reading and God Bless.
Firstly, I believe it is important to be honest to anyone who would like to help me. I do not pretend to be innocent or the victim of the world. The situations I have gotten myself into as of late, are all entirely my doing. I take full responsibility for everything. Unfortunately, I am beyond desperate financially and I am unable to help myself which due to this fact, I have come to my last resort online.

Growing up where I have, the only thing to do is to go out every night and drink until the sun comes up or get married and have children by the time you're 18. I chose the party/social life and it has finally hit me that I am failing myself and the potential I know I have to be something other than a washed up woman sitting at a bar doing the same thing I did when I was 21, only alone and probably creepy to the other 21 year olds. I have my ex-boyfriend to thank for this realization, I think. Due to my wake-up call, I have gone through the steps of growing up. I stopped hanging out with the people who didn't want to change and better themselves and I have filled out my FAFSA so I can get financial aid to go to the cosmotology school that I have always wanted to attend, Paul Mitchell Academy. Everything seemed to head in the right direction, until I decided I would go out one night for just a bit after not going out for almost a month. That 'bit,' cost me my first DUI. Attempting to still stay positive, I got new job outside of a bar and away from the area of my problems. The positive shortly turned to negative with the realization I would have to pay $1,000 for a 6wk class as well as pay off a $2,000 ticket, not including what would be my SR-22 insurance on top of living expenses and bills. Still, I stayed slightly positive, until now. My car's motor has blown and now, I am without a car and relying on the few people I do know for rides only to work. It makes me feel pathetic to have to ask others for help. I feel so helpless and worthless that I have gotten myself in such situations as these and it is entirely my fault due to my irresponsible actions. I do not ask my friends to take me to the grocery store or help me to run the errands I need because I do not like to put people out. So, I order take out and eat at the restaurant I work at almost everyday, it's getting rather old and I don't feel healthy. I can't ask either of parents for help as they are not able to give it, even though they would if they could. My mother lives off of disability and her car is breaking down as well. My father works, but I'm not really sure how he makes it on the little money he makes. I am in a bind, one that seems to get tighter and thicker by the day. My positive outlook and my hopes for a better life is slowly but surely diminishing by the day. I feel so awful for asking for help from strangers, but if weren't so absolutely desperate, I wouldn't. I want to make something of myself I want a better life, and it's time to move on, but I need a few helping hands to do so. If anyone out there is willing or able to help, I am asking so very humbly for it. I appreciate you listening to my story and for any of those who care to help someone in need. I want to thank all of you beautiful people who do selflessly help someone you don't know get back up on my feet and hopefully back on track.

I have a solution if you need money

Posted by thankyou2 on 2011-07-07 18:58:01

To all who are reading this post, I chose not to ask for money but do need it to pay a lot of credit card debt from a failed business. I hopefully can help you in sharing with you
a business that truthfully costs only $5.00 one time to begin.
Really! You can do this by sharing it like I'm doing. I have just begun last week and already have dozens of people who have joined. I look forward to being debt free with this incredible discovery... http://www.onex.me/SeriousCash1x
I hope this blesses you like I believe it will me.
