Industrial Engineer in Western Pennsylvania has seen tough times since 2006. Plants closed and were shipped off to Mexico and China. I'm happy to say that as of May 2012, I've found another job and I'm back on the treadmill of life practicing my trade once again.

I need to bring my vehicle payments current so I can keep my job. If I can make it to November.. all will be fine. I need $7500 and I will pay it back on November 9, 2012 in full plus $800 interest for 5 months

I wouldn’t normally do this but I so want to go see me son compete in the 2012 London Olympics in the sport of Judo. My son will be given tickets to his event for us watch him compete. But neither his sister, my mother nor I have the money for airfare and hotel. I live on a very small pension and SSDI, which isn’t very much. I live with my mom helping here out since my dad passed away last year and she as well does not have much money either. I have no credit cards and had to file bankruptcy due to the lack of unable to work because of me disabilities and the state finally put me on SSDI and that isn’t that much. My son has been doing judo since he was 7yr old. When he took his 1st Junior National Championship at the age of 8 in Hilo, he came off the plane and told me we was going to go to the Olympic. He never lost that goal. He is now going for the 2nd time around. . Back in 2004 due to layoff and my job being outsourced I ended taking a earlier retirement. My son headed off to college with a partial scholarship in judo. I helped support him in rent, phones, car, insurance, as well as airfare to travel to many international tournaments to help him qualify for a spot on the 2008 Olympic team. I even went back to work using almost all of my funds including my saving and 401k’etc just to get him to the level that he needed to be at and because of that I was unable to go to China in 2008 when he went to his 1st Olympic games because I spent it all getting him there. Then in 2009 I got laid off because the job was being outsource but when I tired finding work I was unable to and the state finally tested me and told me because of my disability that I could no longer work and then put me on SSDI. So if your willing to help that would be a blessing but if you not I understand.

I finished university over a year and a half now, and have ever since been dragged down by my student debts, It's my own mistake I know but with the job hunt being so difficult since I finished university I resorted into borrowing money from my father to become a esl teacher which made sitiuation worse, but has now resulted into me moving to china to work and am barely making any money to even send my dad or live.

I,m new to this and had no choice do to my Finances Working.. at Sodexo. We do not get bonuses ect...even though a Big Corporation and I made a mistake promising my Fiance in North Thailand I would arrive there by xmas. My husband died about three years ago after a very long and costly illness. We had a child late in life, and his father's death hit him very hard. I was fortunate to have a job, but it just was not enough and as time passed, it became apparent that I could not keep up my mortgage payments.
Guess I was blind, but my son fell in with the wrong people and soon was supporting a raging drug habit. By the time I realized what was happening, he had robbed me of thousand's of dollars. Even though he is clean now, he desperately needs treatment, but has no job or insurance, and I have not been able to find any inpatient treatment for him.
I had to give up my house and sell my possessions to survive. I was blessed enough to find a small rental house in a decent neighborhood. Unfortuntely, my bills wipe out my paycheck every month, and I find myself without enough food and gas. I have tried everything I know of to generate more income. I have sold my most precious possessions on ebay (can't eat china and jewelry)and did make some headway, but for at least a few more months I cannot see any way to survive. I even tried writing a book, but that did not work. I am not lazy, and work very hard and never thought I would be in this position, and would not even consider doing this if I could find any other option. However, being hungry is an incentive to do whatever you have to do to eat. The transmission in my car decided to die, and I cannot affort to get it fixed. I am driving an old car that rides like a covered wagon, but so far it has gotten me where I am going.
Not asking for a house, car or anything like that. I just need a little money to help with groceries and gas for a little while till I can get caught up. I have reached the point where I decided to clip coupons to help buy groceries. Wrong! That stuff on television about couponing just doesn't work. I have no groceries in the house, and no gas to get any if I had the money to go to the store.
I guess I should count my blessings, because I do have a roof over my head and electricity, and a job, though that is not guaranteed for long, and that's more than a lot of people can say. If I do not get a cent, maybe I will get the prayers of the people who may read this, and that would certainly be appreciated. God has given me many miracles, and I know that he works through people. I need money to buy a plane ticket out of China. My husband moved us here 1 year ago, but I'm not allowed to learn the language or get a job. I have no money, and no way to ask for help. There is no way to communicate with people.

The more time goes by, the more violent he gets. There is no law here about it, and he is the only one who can communicate with the police, anyway.
