Repossessed Home In Need of Repair.

Posted by khannah on 2012-05-21 08:58:22

Hello, My names Kaylee and I am in need of a little help if possible. My parents divorced this year and it ended with me, my mum and my brother moving to a 2 bedroom repossessed property that is in dire need of repair. My mum works, but her wages only cover our necessities and there’s no room to save for the house to be repaired. Me and my brother help where we can but we are on little wages ourselves. We currently have no ceiling or flooring in the lounge and kitchen and every wall in the house needs repairing and painting. We also need a sofa and other bits of furniture as we currently have plastic garden chairs. I have a friend who is a builder and is willing to do all the repairs for us, it's just the part of raising the money for materials that’s an issue.
I would be most grateful for any donation that could help towards my cause and I know it’s not life threatening and in some people’s eyes not a lot of money but for us it could make a huge difference to our lives. My mum suffers with Bipolar and this can have a huge impact on our everyday life, with the house in such disarray this can cause my mums behavior to be very erratic and disorganised, I just feel with a home she does not need to worry about that it will help us all to lead a better quality of life :)

In need of furniture for new apartment

Posted by Ulquiorra on 2012-03-21 16:58:28

My name is Alec, and I am an 18 year old male moving into an apartment on my uncle's NH farm-house's property.

I have no bed, no chairs, no table, or anything else for that matter, furniture wise and most unfortunately no money.

I am currently sleeping on a blow-up mattress that deflates while I sleep so I am laying on the floor when I wake up.

What I am hoping to find is:

A bed (bedding would be nice too)
A small/medium sized desk/table
A chair (or two)
Some pots and pans to cook with
Some paper plates/bowls and plastic utensils
A desk lamp
A floor lamp
anything at all is greatly appreciated

If you have any of these items and are willing to let me have them please contact me on my cellphone at 1(781)789-1983 (Call or Text).

I am currently located in Center Barnstead, NH (approx. 20miles from Concord and Rochester and approx. 40miles from Laconia) and am willing to come to you to pick up anything you're willing to part with that I can use (distance dependant).

I would like to thank you all in advance for your generosity

Amish solid cherry custom dining table with 6 matching chairs and matching reproduction ice box! This was a purchase I made from a local amish furniture store brand new, I am the only owner. I have no children and the table and icebox has been used maybe 10 times total. Both are in mint condition. Solid well made by an amish craftsman it is stunning and my pride and joy. The only thing that I honestly cry about selling, but I am terminal and in debt so there ya go. I paid 7560.00 for the table with self storing leaves (seats 16 total) with 6 chairs and matching ice box custom made pads for every inch of wood 4 years ago. I am asking 3700.00 for all of it. Please call me at 360.474.1337 or by email SSHARRINGTON@frontier.com
You will be amazed by the beauty created by hand a complete joy eating with friends and family! Definatly an antique to pass down to other generations.

Help to restart woodworking business

Posted by Jjcold417 on 2012-01-03 23:58:50

Hello, my name is Jim and i'm a teacher by trade. I also own a small woodworking business. We (my son and I) build adirondack chairs planter boxes and patio furniture. This business is my passion, but like so many today I have fallen on hard times. My dog needed emergency surgery last winter to the tune of $5,000 and that, combined with other things wiped me out! I had to sell or pawn most (pretty much all) oft tools to pay the vet bill. My beloved dog didn't make it and we are still on pain for that. I would love to get back to woodworking, but need help to re-tool. I need at least $4000 to get back in business. Thank you for reading my story and God bless! Any amount you could send would be so appreciated.

Getting a divorce from habitual liar. HELP!

Posted by ThisFamilyNeedsHelp on 2011-12-06 13:58:11

Please help! 37 year old mother of a 5 yr old and a 12 yr old is getting a divorce from my habitual liar husband. I thought I married the man I would spend the rest of my life with, I had planned on only doing it once. I do not work right now. I was doing hair when we met and he wanted me to quit and stay home with our son until he started school. I saw that our relationship was heading downhill and not getting any better and decided I need to go back to school to finish my Bachelor degree in Business Management. I am hoping to finish up by July or October of next year, 2012. I want to open my own business so I can support my wonderful children and give them the things they need and some of the things they want. My 2 children and I, along with our 2 small dogs, had to move in with my mother, uncle, grandmother, and brother. We have been here for a year on Dec 10th and have been separated from my husband that long. He has given me very little money for support in the past year, spent all the tax return, took out a loan on my previously paid off vehicle and spent that money, and ended up getting me in trouble with a bad check to our previous landlord. We had a 2007 Dodge Ram Quad cab, I was primary on the loan, he was secondary, and he said he was trading it in for a Chevy Equinox, better gas mileage and cheaper payments. this was 3 months ago. I am now realizing, how can you trade in a vehicle when the other person on the loan never signed the papers? So now I have people calling me saying they are coming after me for the Dodge truck. I have no clue what I'm going to have to or be able to do on that.

He put a bunch of our stuff in storage when we separated, we moved to Missouri with my mom and he moved in with a friend in Iowa and then LOST it, so I don't have a lot of stuff I've worked for and had before we even met. The list of stuff he lost...5 seat sectional with chaise lounger, 37" flat screen tv, PS2 and about 12 games, Wii and 2 games, new surround sound, 5 disc stereo system, new bluray player, box of my season dvds like Smallville, Friends, One Tree Hill and ER, a huge box of my Disney VHS that I had been collecting since high school, nice new short entertainment center, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, washer and dryer, refrigerator, tall dining table with chairs, vacuum, electric can opener, butcher block knife set, corelware dishes, stainless steel pots and pan set, toaster, king bed, bookcase, desk, riding lawnmower, 2 weed eaters, etc. I probably could keep going.

I'm living on the good will and love my family offers and my small student loan refunds. I get NO child support. I am looking to pay off $15,000 in student loans, the $6200 loan on my Tahoe, the $1100 bad check and a couple hundred in lawyer fees, and the $1,400 Target Visa he ran up and let go bad. I need 4 new tires, an alignment, and a new windshield on the Tahoe. I would like to build my children and I a house in the next 3-4 years.

My goals...
~ Finish my BSBA in Management, end of 2012.
~ Thinking about getting my MBA.
~ Open my business, if you are interested I can tell you about it. Looking for potential investors. Working toward fall of 2012, may have to be fall of 2013.
~ Build my kids and I a house, which my mother will eventually come live with us. Right now she is taking care of my grandmother. If my business takes off like I foresee, I would like to build as I have the money so I don't have a mortgage, or put 50% down and get a loan for the rest.
~Be happy in life!

I am an honest Christian woman and I believe that the bills should be paid first BEFORE you go out and blow any money on luxuries such as eating out. He eats out a lot!

If you find it in your heart to help me out, please send me a note with how you would like for me to use the money, 3 choices as there will hopefully be others who can help me, and I can send you proof that that bill was paid. This is new to me and my first attempt at "cyberbegging", which has taken all I have. I am proud and have done many things on my own, so it is very humiliating for me to have to take this route.

I would assume your donation is tax deductible, but you will have to check on that.

If this works for me, I will give back and help out others who need it.

God Bless you and your family. Happy Holidays!

Family in need... House Fire!

Posted by chcump on 2011-11-29 10:58:57

Family of 8 in need, we need everything. We live in Oklahoma and would be willing to drive to pick up things we have lost. Please help out we have five kids, 4 boys 18, 13, 12, 9 and one girl 10. My husband works and I am on disability, my sister in law lives with us, because my brother is in a nursing home. We just found a home that we will hopefully be able to move in to in a few days. The deposits and rent will take up all of our money and we will not have anything left over. We need beds, dressers table and chairs, linens, and much more. If you have a tree or any toys or games that I can stick under it for the younger two it would be great. The older boys understand, but the younger two would not understand why Santa did not come. Thank you in advance.

wanting to create a juice bar/gourmet food sevice. Promoting enzyme integrity foods prepared fresh exposing the alternative in dinning. the motto, sobriety thru dinning because cooked food is drug. wanting to promote alternative energy products like solar and wind through the same business, need food dryers, food processors, green life juicers, solar refridgerators, solar hot water heaters, building, glass display refridgerator, solar panels, tables and chairs and so much more. this is a new style of food service that most people would not be capable of understanding and with that insight is the understanding of what it might take to introduce this concept in dinning, therefore the start up fees on a adventure with this scope of design are to be unforseen in many aspects of the dreamscape of it all. thank you.

Between a Rock n Hard Place

Posted by RocknHardPlace on 2011-09-19 09:58:45

I met my wife in October of 2001 at a Mexican restaurant when we both lived in Mesa, Arizona. It was love at first sight; I knew she was the only one for me. And I was bold enough to ask her to marry me just 6 hours after we met. She is my cheerleader and keeps me going, even on my worse days. She persists until she can make me laugh. We were married March of 2003 and have been together everyday since. We volunteered in pet rescue adopts, Pat Tillman walks, Cancer and Alzheimer walks. Like most people in these times of struggle, have lost our jobs and place to live while in Arizona. We took a few belongings packed into boxes and our 2 cats. We spent our last dime to drive back to Michigan and be with family.

The plan was to live with my wife's parents, while we rebuild our finances and get out on our own again. However, that plan crashed and burned within one week of being there. The step-father decided he changed his mind about the whole thing and asked us to leave. Fortunately, my sister and her husband also lived in Michigan and took us in. It was to be for a short term as they are also struggling, but is close to becoming a year. Also during this time our car was repossessed, we picked up an almost 20 year old car cheap. My wife was lucky and was able to find a temporary work program right away and that will last until spring of 2012.

I was not so lucky; I applied to every company in a 60 mile radius. I have went between several temp jobs and no work for the last 9 months, while waiting for full-time work. Finally in August, I landed a full-time job 60 miles from home; this of course is hard on the used car we picked up and draining all our funds on gas money. We have now been told that we have to move out by November 1st of this year. The problem is that we have spent any money coming in on gas for the car to get us back to forth to work and what little is left over on food we contribute to the house.

We have been approved on an apartment very close to my job and still 25 miles to my wife's job. It is $1,200.00 just for the apartment, we also need to rent a small truck and get the boxes up north from storage and connect utilities and buy some food. We anticipate this costing us $3,000.00 to complete the goal. If we save hard and only spend money on gas and car insurance and no food we may have a 1/3 of what we need by Nov. 1st. We would still need to get a bed, couch, and table and 2 chairs to eat our meals at. That will come in time as long as we are together, I don’t care if we sleep on the floor. We have never been in need before and have prolonged asking for help. I just do not see another way and I am asking for help now. Please help us in getting the funds to move on with our lives. I am sure that once we are, things will continue to get better.

I thank you for your time in reading this. Whatever funds you can afford to donate will be forever appreciated.
My name is Kimberly, I am a single mom that works and I am attending school full-time. Unfortunately, I have encountered some hard times. I have had numerous health issues the past several months, which caused me to miss a lot of work. I therefore got behind in my rent, utilities, insurance payments...it is a struggle to keep gas in my vehicle, food in the fridge...I am not able to purchase all of my prescribed medication. I don't like asking for assistance but I need the opportunity to obtain a few cash gifts from understanding angels, so that I can catch up on my rent and expenses. The stress of worrying about keeping a place to stay, not having my medication, and providing food and clothes for my son and other needs is killing me. In addition, I would like to help other single parents in some way. I would like to care for infants in the evenings and on weekends. I would charge reasonable prices for evening care and on weekends when the parent needs a break, go shopping or for appointments. In order to get started I need 2 cribs, 2 high chairs, play pen, baby monitor. I also need to take 4 childcare provider classes. Any assistance would be appreciated. My email/pay pal account is lovefaithhopepeacekd@gmail.com. Thank you very much.

Trying to help my family

Posted by mommy3 on 2011-04-11 14:58:55

I am a mother of three who stays home to watch my small children. I am married and my husband works 16 hour days sometimes just so we can pay the rent ( late). I never see him and the kids miss him so much. I have tried to sell avon, mary kay and all other sorts of internet jobs. ( secret shopping etc.) I have sold our couch, our bed, our arm chairs. Ive taken almost all of my clothes to consignment stores and even tapped into my childrens piggy banks to pay for gas. My car is breaking down and our rented apt is falling apart. I have applied to cash aid and food stamps and we were denied because of the amount of hours my husband works. We have no family to help us and we are very good parents. I try to involve my kids in activities that are free and we meet friends at the park because we have no furniture or yard for the kids friends to come here. This site is literally the last resort. I will take extra change! 10 cents, a quarter, anything helps even if its just so i can get gas to take my oldest child ( 6) to school. Thank you and god bless
