We have lived on the Shanandoah mountain for about two years. We found a house cheaper than our three bedroom condo we did have in manassas. Which was a little over a thousand a month. Our three bedroom house now on the mountain is exactly a thousand a mth. Our ultilities aren't rediculous. In febuary my husband lost his job. He made good money. I was just finishing up suceeding CDL endorsment classes. Etc. To become a school bus driver. Which has been the only job for me that's come my way in a year. We absolutely love the schools here. Which my three children are in each this year. Thankfully my husband has qualified for unemployment. The state is helping us with food and medical insurance. We allready surrendered our economical car. Then our only vehicle motor blew up two weeks ago. My husband is great at fixing vehicles. We just don't have the money to do so. He wants to go to an auction because he's not for sure about putting a lot of money into our vehicle. Allthough at the same time. We are behind on our rent. Thankfully we are truely blessed with a patient and very understanding landlord. My husband has been fixing up things that have been going wrong with the house since he's been out of work. He and I both have a good chance at jobs. We just don't have a way to them now. Its mind boggling for the both of us. We only have our cell phones for internet. Fortunately our close friend is letting us use his truck that my husband fixed for him recently to use to get our kids to and from busstop morning and afternoon. This truck though isn't legal. Please send your prayers for us at most. Help

Iraq Vet needs help!
Posted by mwilson75 on 2011-08-26 09:58:10
My name is Mike, I am a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and after coming home, I was diagnosed with PTSD. As is typical with PTSD, I did not seek immidiate treatment for the condition, I was going through a divorce, losing everything, and I was unemployed. I started using alot of drugs and alcohol in an attempt to self medicate and I ended up homeless, addicted and in alot of legal trouble. I have since, remarried,my wife and I have 3 children (2 years, 1 year, and new born) and our 1 year old was born 3 months pre mature and has cerebral palsey as well as several other serious medical conditions. I have over 2 years clean and sober now, and I have not had any new criminal charges in 3 years, i recently turned myself in on the last warrant i had and served my jail time and I no longer have any pending legal charges. My problem is this, due to the warrants I had, my drivers license was suspended in 2008 and now that all charges are resolved, I can not afford my re-instatement fee. I am current on the pay plan for all fines and court costs, but with our limited income, our sons medical issues, and my fine payments, on top of regular living expenses (rent, utilities, diapers, food, etc) there is no way I can pay my reinstatement fee's or get a drivers license. I will worry about getting a car later, but I had a CDL before it was suspended and if I can get it back, I know I will be able to increase our income and achieve self sufficiency. If you can help, please consider doing so, it will not be unappreciated!

NEED A HUGE HELPING HAND!!!! EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY
Posted by ThomasT1 on 2011-05-22 09:58:49
Ok...I've FINALLY found a way to help my family ASAP!! We have been struggling for years. My husband is an EXCELLENT DRIVER with a CDL license. We have an opportunity to start a buisness and have an EXCELLENT return in just 9 weeks. We need $40,000. This will enable us to buy the shuttle buses we need and we could pay that money back by labor day. Trust me....I've done all the figures and it's been proven by other companies. There is MORE THAN ENOUGH buisness for everyone in this work. The summer is here. THE TIME IS NOW!!! Even if $40,000 people give us a $1 i promise to pay each of you back that dollar. Please read this and help.

Well this is our situation. Got out the military in Aug of 2010 and me and my wife had everything planned out for us to start truck driving school in September. Unfortunately we had a bad turn with bills and car problems which set us back...we have been trying to play catch up in order for us to start truck driving school together but every time we take a step forward it feels like we take 2 steps backwards. We are a large family of 6 and have sheltered the children from our financial strain. We are in need of charitable individuals or even someone who can loan us the money and we would be happy to pay it back once we have become secured truck driving. In total we would be financially stable with about 8-10k. That would include getting our bills caught up and maintain our family while in truck school and then getting started on the road. I am a veteran and have spoken to several schools which have guaranteed my and my wife getting a job once we have obtained our CDL's. Thank you to those who have taken the time to read this and may your hearts understand.
