I have been invited by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) to play in the World Championships this year. I am currently registered but now I am worried about not having enough money to make it there. The tournament is in North Carolina and I am from Michigan. This is the first year that I have been invited and would be devastated if a lack of funds prevented me from playing.

My husband has been out of a job for over a year now and we've been struggling to pay mortgage and electric enough as is. I work full time but it's not easy to live off one income. Until he finds a job, for which he is constantly searching, I don't have any extra money in my budget for extras like tournaments but this is such a great opportunity for me.

I need all the help I can get and every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated! I am going to be fundraising locally to help cover the cost of hotel accommodations.

Long story short.. my father passed away in 2010 and with tht money i got an apartment in north carolina... not even a month there i was home invaded and robbed... then i found out my job wasn't going to transfer me... i was traumatized by what happened and didn't feel safe with my kids so I came to NY to stay with my gram for a few months. Unfortunately we don't get a long n she doesn't have money to help us move. I was going to go back down to my apartment in NC but found out it was robbed again and my furniture and my kids clothes are gone. The landlady then said I abandoned my apartment(which I didn't). So now I found an apartment but I have no money to put down on the deposit and first months rent. If anyone can help change my bad luck, please help.

My internet is about to be shut off tuesday because we are barley paying our rent and car payment. I owe 147 due to overdraft fees tacked onto my bill. I am currently a self employed hair stylist who is going back to school in may for Marketing but without my internet i can not cont to work and also go to school because i am going to school online at our local community college. I plan to attend East carolina university after i finish the transfer program at wayne. Anything would help.

I'm a sophomore in college in North Carolina. I have 3.7 GPA but still do not get nearly enough financial aid to cover my costs for school. I work part time as a waitress, but the money I earn is used for groceries and bills. Both of my parents have drug issues and I have lived with my grandparents since I was about 7 but they barely can afford to take care of themselves, let alone myself and my brother. I am a hard working person. I worked very hard to get into college. I hope this isn't my last year. I would like to make something out of myself. All donations are greatly appreciated. Please if you can help it would be greatly appreciated, In 2010 my twin brother passed away due too post traumatic problems he lived alone and no one knew that he had died in his sleep thus it took a while before his body was discovered his remains had to be cremated and ever since the funeral home in South Carolina send his ashes back to our hometown his ashes have been resting in a garage. I feel his remains deserves a proper burial at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC he had been awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. I would like to drive home this coming summer and take his ashes to Arlington but I need money for traveling expenses(Gas,Lodging and Food).

Well, my parents of course…. Going to make this clear! I don’t need money to get high on street drugs or go bar hopping. That is not the Man I am and the Man that I would want my son to see me as. That’s why I’m asking for any help you might be able to provide. If you’re in a position to hire a good working honest and loyal person then I’m your guy! Please just leave me an email address and I can email you one right over. I can also fax one to if requested. If you would like to help me raise some relocating funds so I can relocate back to South Carolina to be able to see my son more often and seek out better employment! I’d really appreciate it with all my heart!

I had to move back with my parents after having been divorced from my wife of 12 years. It’s really been hard on me because I gave up our car and house to my ex-wife and son who will be five Dec 31th. I figured it would be easier for me to start over because it was just me. My ex had full custody and wanted to make sure they both had a roof over their head and a car to meet her career and child care needs. The saddest and hardest part for me was that I could not afford to live on my own and keep my truck and the house for my ex to live in. I ended doing the right thing and surrendered my truck and moved back home with my parents.
I now been living in Gothenburg, Ne for over 2 years with my parents and I’m really having a hard time keeping a good job without getting laid off or your hours cut due to not enough demand for what we were making or services we provided. I live in a town of 3,500 so the jobs are slim and few by far between. I owe my parents a lot for letting me stay with them but I’m a grown man now and need to get out on my own.
It’s really been discouraging because I’ve been trying to get things together and money saved up so that I can be able to move back to South Carolina to be closer to my son. I have not seen him in over a year. I feel like the worst father in the world! There is no other place I rather be then closer to him or be able to find a job that can pay me a decent wage that would allow me to afford to fly out and see him as much as possible.
The bottom line is that since there are no jobs here I would like to relocate back to South Carolina and get back into my work field as Cable TV/ Collections/ Disconnections. Again thanks for reading my post even though how shameful I feel about it.

Greetings everyone, I am a 28 m from South Carolina, I am in need of help to pay bills. I am unemployed and have been for the past 4 years. I can not find a job in the place I stay. I have no car to go outside the town I stay for a job either. I currently stay with my dad helping him out around the house with cooking and cleaning. I have never resorted to begging in my life so this is a first time for me. I know these are hard times for everyone but anything will help out. I thank any/everyone for their time in reading this.

Hello, I found myself in a bad spot. I have a 12 week old baby and we just moved to Arkansas from North Carolina in Sept of 2011 because of Hurricane Irene. My car made the drive here and we have been doing ok, I have a place to stay now and working and paying the bills, but now my car broke down and I did find someone who can fix my car but it will cost about 900 dollars to fix, but I dont have that kind of money and I dont have anyone I can turn to, to ask for help. I need to have my car because my baby has shots and dr appointments as well as myself have dr appointments. Any help would be great!

I have been in the need for money for a long time now. I have looked and looked for ways to get help, various odds and end jobs, the works, but now I have to resort to the pity and kindness of others to hopefully gain some of the ground that I have had swept out from under me. I am a father with a toddler and a fiancé, and all the medical bills that followed her because she suffers from Crohn’s Disease. (The Story of my wreck…) My fiancé and I lived in North Carolina for two years, life was decent and there was nothing wrong but we just couldn’t get enough money saved up to get married like we wanted. We were OK with that until God blessed us with our first child, we knew life would take more scarifies, and I began looking for better work. Then my prayers were answered with a fantastic job out west, but we had to come to terms with the fact that I would not be able to take my family with me…
I would have to take the job out west, go there, save enough money to move them after I found a house and gotten settled in… Well, all was well for the first month, I just about had enough to finally bring my family with me and live comfortably for the amount of time it would take for my fiancé to find work herself. Then the worst trial I have ever faced hit me… My wonderful management level job outsourced to India, leaving me with a meager severance (enough to cover my bills and help my Fiancé) So now I’m stuck in Washington paying for two rents, a car (I take the public transportations), and all the overflow finances my fiancé cannot cover on her smaller salary. I began to wonder how it could not get any worse, and I was shown how much worse it really could get. My Fiancé was stricken with a terrible Crohn’s flare that put her out of work and in the hospital for two months… They had to give up the house, move in with my parents, and all the while, I am 3000 miles away picking up lousy manual and clerical work to make ends meet as best I can.
I’ve run over my finances over and over again. Now I’m not homeless, nor are my fiancé and son, but I cannot get them here without some extra help. After looking over all I owe and all that I would need to make life livable for them is just around $10,000. Roughly $2000 to ship the rest of our belongings out here to the home I’m currently renting, more or less $4000 to keep the medical bills from going to collections, $1245 to cover the cost of breaking our lease(The house my fiancé was living in) $1200 to make the car payment current(Insurance included), and $1500 to give us some safety room for her recovery until she is able to work again. I am not looking for large amounts of money from people; I just would like to get the sympathy of as many people as I can so that I can see them again… With your help to get me to my goal I can finally pick up the pieces and make my family whole again…

I lost my job a few months ago due to budget cuts and am desperate right now. I am a single mother of the sweetest 10 year old daughter. She just got accepted to be Safety Patrol at her school next year and is so happy!
I am facing eviction and am trying everything to try to stay in my apartment. The good thing is that I have gotten hired, but it doesn't start until June 20. I am a preschool teacher in South Carolina.
Please help! I can pay money back as soon as I get my first pay check and start getting stable again.

So managed to pay for my undergraduate education all on my own. I did not get in to medical school my first go around. So I entered into a Masters program to boost my resume (even though my MCAT and GPA are above that of my friends). Everyone I talk to questions me "how are you NOT in medical school right now?" It doesn't really bother me too much.

I live in a dingy graduate student dormitory, gas is nearly $4 a gallon here in New Orleans. I don't have enough money to go home to my family in South Carolina.

The only job I could find in this city is bussing tables..... I am a 22 year old highly intelligent man with a Masters Degree... and I am bussing tables.

I take orders from 18 year old waitresses.

But I don't mind, it helps me get by.... but barely. I live paycheck to paycheck and am scraping by.

I am incredibly driven and know that one day I will be a doctor taking care of people's problems and managing a practice. It is who I am. I am an extremely type A person...

I just tell myself that this struggling portion in my life is a character building phase--- this is when those who really want to succeed rise to the occasion, and those without the work ethic fall behind.

my husband and i need enough money for a house in either alaska or noth carolina,from 80,000 to 120,000. we live in washington state right now and we are trying to get a place free and clear and go to a state that isn't going to tax us to death. we have picked a house in each state and it depends on how much money we get to which state we go to. my husband has been sick and between medicne and hospital stays there isn't enough money to go around. i lost my job last aug. and no job yet. he gets social security and that check goes for house payment. any amount will help.

My Story starts about 4-5 months ago. My husband Left me and he took my kids. We are trying to work things out. I haven't seen my kids in about 5 months because when he left me he went to his mothers house were I'm not able to go because she don't like. My husband and I have a 9 month old, and I am 5 months pregnant with our 2nd child. We just found out that the place where my husband works is shutting down right after labor day. We both have been endlessly looking for jobs while his mom watches our daughter. We take Kim to his mom at 8 am and pick her up at 4 pm. We are trying to make looking for work just like a job. So far we have had no luck. I am desperate. Our rent is due on the 1st of September. We pay $600 a month. If anyone could send anything it would help so much. Help me please. I have a great job opportunity as an Aircraft Mechanic in Craig, Alaska. It's a great place with decent pay and they even provide use of a house. However, I have recently relied heavily on payday loans, and am barely getting by where I am. In order to move, I need to pay off these loans so I can pay for the move from North Carolina to Alaska (not cheap). Please help.

Do any of you have children that play Rec Sports or Optimist Sports? Well, at first I was just a parent that did not understand all of the ins and outs of our Optimist Club, however, two years later I am now the President of our local area Optimist Club and have learned that we have no money, and now do not have enough money to even pay for some of our field equipment that is financed much less new jerseys. I have tried some of the local merchants in our area for donations, but times are tough for everyone. We have 100+ kids at Claremont Optimist Club and are now into full swing of baseball season. We have t-ball, coach pitch baseball, machine pitch baseball, and kid pitch baseball.....We also have softball in all of the above categories. We need money, equipment, baseballs, softballs, jerseys, field equipment, basically anything to do with sports. We also have a football program that is very good for our community, and we are possibly at risk of not being able to run it because of our lack of funds. On top of that, it costs money to do many fundraisers, and we don't have it to get one started. Any money is some money for us so please help us out. We are in the heart of North Carolina and in a hard sruck county in need of whatever we can get.
