My little dog recently suffered with vertigo, i took him to our local vet & they flushed out his ears but while they were doing it discovered a tumour in his ear canal. He was referred to a specialist to have m.r.i scan & inner ear removal.The specialist vets also advised us to have his larynx operated on at the same time, so we took their advice. The ear operation went well but throat op caused problems & now our fit little dog has been left with a nasty cough for life that needs to be controlled with medication. We expected the pet insurance we had to pay for the treatment but as the tumour turned out to be a polyp he is not covered as he was prescribed ear drops for an infection 3 yrs ago.So now i have put a £6000 vet bill on my credit card that i am struggling to pay off. Any help would be greatly apprieciated Thank you

When my daughter was born in January of 2011 she had to be extracted via a fast emergency c-section. She had been engaged in the birth canal but she disengaged herself and the umbilical cord came out. The doctor was concerned that the cord was strangling her and took my wife to emergency surgery. My daughter survived and is now healthy. My wife developed an infection from the procedure and spent three months with a wound vac and endured two more procedures to try and remove the infection. In the time since I have changed jobs and moved my family back to where I grew up so we could get help with child care for both the baby and her 6 year old half sister from my parents because of the costs of day care. My wife can no longer work. I tried for several months to sell my home. When the opportunity presented itself I moved my family and ceased making the payments on the home I was trying to sell. It is now being foreclosed on. We are covered up with medical bills both from her past before we were married and also from the procedures to stop her infection and also credit card bills that are partially thanks to my ex-wife. After reading through this site I have decided that I guess I am not too proud to ask for help from compassionate people. Please contact me if you have any questions or thoughts on my situation.

We have no insurance and are a 1 income family (this because of childcare costs-it cost more to work than stay at home with the children). I have 6 teeth that are in desparate need of attention. I have already had to have 1 pulled because we could not afford a root canal. All of these teeth are my front teeth. Now I need these other 6 fixed and either a partial or a bridge put in to replace the one I lost. They are starting to hurt and I have no options right now except to be in pain, because we don't have the money to even get them pulled right now. We work hard for what we do get, but it takes everything just to pay the everyday bills, we have no extra money at all. If someone can please help me with this one thing I would be eternally grateful!

Hi I'm 20 years old and I am currently a Vet Student. I worked really hard to ge.t in and I'm really trying to do well for myself as I grew up with my mum who is on the sickness benfit. My fees are $12000 a year and I have a loan that is getting up to $40000. I went to the dentist because I was in a lot of pain to discover I needed fillings replaced and a gold crown. This comes to about $2000. As I was getting the fillings replaced, the dentist found that one of my nerves were bleeding and now I need a root canal that will add $1500 to the already massive bill. I am a poor student who is already in debt and has no family members who can help me. Can you please help me? Anything would be really really appreciated. I put myself through college on my own dime, but had to stop after I received my associates degree because I ran out of money. I have always tried to do the right thing in life, but always seemed to have a rough time of it. Finally, my luck started to change a few years ago when I met the man who I thought was the one. I fell madly in love. I would do anything for him, and it seemed he would do the same for me. While he did not make a lot of money, with our finances combined life was much easier than I had ever experienced. We decided to move to Florida from up north because his family was here, and he wanted to be close to his aging parents. I had always wanted to live in warmer weather, and I would follow him anywhere, so we packed up our lives and moved south. Now, two years later, my world is upside down. My fiance had a child with another woman and has now dropped me like a bad habit. That alone, devastated me so badly that I didn't know if I wanted to live anymore. But I tried to pull myself together. I still wake up in the mornings and feel like someone died. Four days after the breakup, I lost my job because the office I worked for shut its doors. I have never had to accept unemployment, or any other kind of assistance in my life, but I had to file. I am still waiting to be approved for unemployment. And then, today I went to the dentist with the intention of taking care of a long-standing dental problem that I have been saving for about a year. I found out that another tooth is decaying under a crown and I need a total of $5,450 of dental work done. This is after I have already lost a tooth (a back one, thank God) because of another failed root canal and crown a past dentist had done. And I was unable to sue her because I found out two weeks after the dental malpractice statute of limitations had expired. I am just so sickened and saddened by the turn of events my life has taken. I know that everyone always says that what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger, and that may be true. But I can't help but feel so hopeless and helpless in my own life right now. I have already sold almost everything I own to try to put money together to move back to my home state. Because I am also getting kicked out by my ex fiance. He acts like he doesn't even care. It makes me feel stupid and used that I ever cared about someone who obviously never cared about me. I am begging for help. I know times are hard out there for everyone right now. But I have no one else to rely on. Any donation that you are able or willing to give would be immensely appreciated. I am a real person. This is my life right now. I know this may sound ridiculous to some, but anyone who has ever been in a situation like mine can identify with what I am going through. I have no one else to rely on. I have no pride left. I do not have rotten teeth, I eat healthy and don't drink pop. I'm a beautiful woman and an artist.
I was told that I grind my teeth and they became hollowed out and began to shorten. I took out a loan for 3000.00 a couple of years ago to finish a root canal and put caps on two teeth but the dentists office pulled a weird twist on me and said I needed an emergency bone graft. They did that, spending the money I had to fix my mouth so nothing was really done. They messed up the side of my mouth I was chewing on. Now, I'm in really bad shape.
This problem has been going on way too long for me...I hope this (begging) helps. I understand that if enough people just even gave a dollar it could really add up and save my mouth.

I've spent over $7,000 on root canals & extractions over the past few years, and I'm almost done with the necessary work. Then I can move on to what my dentist sees as the best solution for someone in their 20's- 4 dental implants supported by partial dentures. I have 3 empty spots in the front of my mouth, and I'm so self-conscious about them that when I smile/laugh, I cover my mouth with my hand and feel very silly. I don't have any molars or the teeth right in front of them, so I chew with my front teeth only. I turn down any invitation that involves eating, and it's very depressing.

I have 1 more root canal to go- on a tooth that hurts every day. I've reached the allowed outstanding balance with my dentist, so he can't perform the work until I pay my bill. I can't take pain medication other than at bedtime because I have a full-time job, a part-time job and a son who needs me to be alert when I'm home. I have an existing loan for a car repair that was done so I don't have that avenue. I am literally begging for any help that you can offer. I always told my son that if I ran into a pile of money I would find people who really need help & donate some of it to them. I will keep my word that some day when I have extra money (it has to be in the near future, right?!) I will come back to this site and donate to others who are in difficult situations. Due to a new baby and money issues, my root canal was left unfinished. I am uninsured (mainly because I don't have the money to pay for it), and now my unfinished tooth has recently begun to become infected.
