I want to treat my mom to a great vacation (Sonoma vineyards)

I am not asking for much and this is not an emergency.
My mom is a poor single lady with health problems living in the midwest. She never gets to do anything or go anywhere. She is a sweetie and goes to church. She recently lost a bunch of weight with diet, exercise, and hard work and was able to go off all her diabetes and blood pressure meds!

This coming August 2012, I would like to fly her out here near me (San Francisco) and give her a week of vacation where she does not have to spend a dime, as she has no money. She lives on a farm with nothing around. She has never been to the San Francisco or Sonoma area.

As for me, I am a single young lady here in SF and I work in I.T. for a living but only have enough to pay my rent (i live alone and support myself) and electricity and food. Nothing more.

I would like to bring my mom to the Napa/Sonoma vineyards on a wine tour. Maybe the wine train tour? Also to Fishermans' Wharf and do all the touristy things. Also a brunch cruise. The Aquarium. California Academy of Sciences. Ripley's Wax Museum. Fine Dining, a concert (maybe Yanni). And I dont know what else.

Plus, her airfare ($500) to get here and back.

This is a dream that I want to fulfill with my mom. You never know how long you are going to have your mom around, and I want to make this vacation spectacular for her! Nothing I want to do with my mom is all that expensive. But I want it to be MEANINGFUL, heartfelt, and a trip she wont forget.

(I originally wanted to give her a trip to Hawaii, but there is no way I can afford that.)

This is no emergency. I do not want to compete with the people out there needing heart surgery. This is just a vacation with my mom.
But you never know unless you have the courage to ask, right?
Any amount will help. I'm going to put every penny into a Chase Savings account and save until August when Mom gets here for a week of vacation; August is also my birthday. (if we can afford it).

If you contribute to this, I will send you all kinds of photos from mine and my momma's vacation in August!!

Help Us Start Over

My daughter and I are in need of finding a place of our own. These past couple months have been extremely hard because of the death of my mother. We were all living together and my mom was splitting the rent with me and I was working to take care of her. She was sick with Cancer and she had the operation and we all thought she was going to be okay. She did not recover like we expected and she ended up going in a Rehabilitation Center and we visited her often until she came home. I am the youngest of her children. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister and we are called the Berry 5. We were allways known as the Berry Family from the time we were little. My mom started to do better and we were so happy to have her home. It came time for her to Start Chemotherapy and Radiation. She was scared but I and my sister talked her into it because we knew the doctors had told us that she needed it because the cancer had spread to her lymp nodes and when they did the surgery they were not able to get everything. My mom had done one week of Radiation and she went in for one session of Chemo. The same day she had Chemo she seemed fine and then 2 days later she was having fevers, throwing up and so extremely weak. I thought it was because of the Chemo because that is what was explained to us. My concern was she couldn't keep anything down. I needed to give her medication for her Diabetes and High Blood Pressure but everytime I gave her anything, it all came up and so I was so scared because her blood sugar was high and I didn't want it to get any higher. She began to complain of stomach pain and I thought it was another side effect of the Chemo. For a couple days of her vomiting and having diarrhea, I was able to get some fluids down her and it seemed to stay. Little by little we both thought she was doing better. Her strength was not there though, it was difficult for her to even get up to go to the bathroom. The following day she continued to vomit and I was scared so I told her she needed to go to the hospital, because I felt that they could help her more. They could give her medications through an IV and they could find out why she was so weak and everything. She was scared and did not want to go but I convinced her. The ambulance came and took her to the hospital. I tried to follow her but I had to pick up my 11 year old daughter from school. I did go and they would not let me go back right away. I told them my mom had been brought in and they told me she wasn't checked in yet. About 20 minutes passed and I went back up to the window and they told me they would see if the doctor would let me back there and they were saying my daughter couldn't come back there because she wasn't 14, I told them she is only 11 years old and I'm not leaving her in the waiting room with strangers and that she was coming back there with me. They finally let us in and we went back to see my mom. I couldn't believe they had her hooked up to so many machines and she was on morphine and so out of it. I walked up to her and I said Ma, I'm here and she turned and looked at me. She was happy to see me, but then she told me that they told her, they found blood in her stools. I told her it was probably just do to her Hemorrhoids. but she said they told her it was positive for something. I asked her for what and she didn't know. I began looking for the doctor so I could ask questions but he wasn't around and everyone I talked to told me the doctor would be in soon to go over my mom's condition. I stayed with my mom, just holding her hand, telling her I loved her and that she was going to be okay. They came in to take her to have an ultrasound and my daughter and I waited. The doctor finally came in and told me that my mom had an abcess in her stomach that had burst. I said what are you talking about? He said that she had a condition called peridonitis and that the abcess burst and was releasing all this poison inside her stomach and her blood pressure was dropping dramatically. He then told me it was too dangerous for them to operate at that time because her INR level to to high. My mom had been taking Cumadin for a blood clot that she previously had and the cumadin made her INR level extremely high and her blood was not clotting so they said if they did surgery, she would bleed out. They said they needed to correct it by giving her lots of blood products and they gave her all kinds of strong antibiotics and blood and plasma. They were pumping so much stuff into her, I didn't know what to do. Her blood pressure was like 85/60 and then like 76/40 and it was getting lower and lower. They had her hooked up to so many IVs and then they told me that she was the sickest person they had in the ER. So many doctors and interns and students and nurses overcrowded my mom's room. I called my sister and told her what was going on and she came down to be with me and my daughter. They told us they would do all they could for my mom but that it didn't look good. I began to pray, my mom had always taught me to pray and give things over to god. As the night went on, they decided to put an IV in my moms neck, they said it was more direct and if and when she went to surgery it would be better to have that in place. They made us leave the room and they had like 10 people in there with there machines and cameras and equipment to help guide them where to put the IV at. I had never gone through this before and I was so scared but I was keeping my faith. One doctor wanted to talk to me and my sister alone and I didn't want to hear him telling me anything negative. He asked us a lot of questions concerning my mom's health and history. He then told us that she was in acute renal failure and that her colon was damaged where the abcess bursts and fecal was being released into her abdomen. This is the last thing I wanted to hear. I asked him if they could fix it, he said they would do all they could but that their main focus was trying to bring her INR levels down because they were dangerously high. She was also anemic and that is why she was so weak, her blood level was extremely low. They were continuously giving her blood products, antibiotics and plasma. My sister decided to take my daughter home with her. I told her I would call her when I knew when they were going to do surgery. The surgeon had spoken to us and said that it was a good chance, and that operating was her only chance and once her blood level was corrected that they would go in and repair the damage. I felt some what relieved but as the night went on she was in a fight for her life. The main doctor working on my mom's case came and told me that her breathing was not getting any better and that he needed to put her to sleep so he could intubate her and put a breathing tube down her throat. He said it would be good to have anyways so that she would be ready when they went to surgery. There was nothing I could do except walk out of the room and wait. I continued to pray and wait and pray and wait. Hours went by and I would walk and peek inside the room and see my mom's blood pressure increasing some, this gave me hope but then the doctor would come and tell me it wasn't looking like she was improving and that we needed to prepare that she might not make it through the night. i couldn't believe what he was telling me. I called my sister and my brother and told them , they were praying as well. I didn't know who to listen to, one doctor is telling me it's hopeless and the surgeon is telling me it's a good chance she would be okay once taken to surgery. I sat in the hall because they wouldn't let me back in and they stayed with her at all times, monitoring her and giving her medicine and all the blood and stuff back to back. Then they came out in the hall and told me they were ready to take her to surgery. They said she might not hear you but you can still talk to her. I walked up to her lying there, so still and I told her how much I loved her and i told her to fight and that we would do it togther and that I would be here when she woke up and that I was not leaving her. The surgeon put me in the OR waiting room. I was all alone in there by myself. I waited and waited and only 20 mins went by and a security guard told me there was a cafe there and if I wanted to go grab a cup of coffee that I could. I went downstairs and got the coffee, as soon as I reached the OR floor I saw the surgeon standing there, he walked over to me and he said, I'm sorry but your mom's heart stopped during surgery and we revived her but then it stopped again and he said I don't we can get it back. My whole world just crumbled, I began screaming and crying and I fell to the floor. I was just askig God why. Why is this happening? This security lady came over to comfort me and began telling me how sorry she was and asked me if I had any family I could call. I called my sister and told her and she said she was on her way down. She lived in another city about 45 mins away. I was still on the ground just broken and this lady began to tell me that God would help me and give me the strength to go on. She asked me if I had any children, I told her I had a daughter, and she told me I needed to be strong for her. I wasn't trying to hear all that. My whole world was ripped right from under me. A couple of doctors and this lady helped me off the floor and the surgeon that came out , came out again and told me they would take me back to see her. They brought out a wheelchair and wheeled me back there and when they opened the door, my god I just saw them on top of her doing chest compressions and I was just screaming and then the surgeon is telling me I need to make a decision because everytime they do that, they are hurting her and he said, you don't want her to suffer anymore. I was just waiting on my sister4. I didn't want to make that call but I didn't want them pounding her chest in so I told them to stop. It killed in me inside. They wheeled me over to her and I just cried. My mom was only 60 years old and she had her whole life ahead of her and I don't understand why any of this happened. She was such a beautiful person and she had been a christian for 33 years. SHe loved the lord and she raised me and my siblings up in the church. I couldn't believe that she was gone because I had prayed and prayed and I just knew that God would spare her life. I lost my real father at the age of 16 and even then I didn't know him. I always had my mom and she remarried when I was 11 years old. She had been married for 19 years and my step father passed away in July of 2008. He was a sickly person and she took care of him and nursed him for all those years. He had diabetes, high blood pressure, prostate cancer, he was on dialysis for kidney failure, he had a four by pass surgery and he was in and out of the hospitals for years. She suffered so much seeing him suffer and taking care of him, he took what little strength she had. But because he was her husband she did all she could to help him and she loved him so much. So now all remains is just me and my siblings. It's hard because my mom was my best friend. I can't remember a time when she wasn't around. We did everything together and we lived together for years and I took care of her. I wanted so bad for her to be okay and to make it through surgery, I had been taught for years about the love of Jesus and I couldn't understand what he chose to take her away from her children and grandchildren. We had a two bedroom apartment and she had her room and my daughter and I shared a room. After she died, I went home that morning with my sister and I stayed over there for the remainder of the day. The whole day was just hurting, crying and calling the rest of the family. I felt so bad because my youngest brother, say youngest because he is the youngest of my 3 brothers, even though they are all older than me. He came to the hospital to see my mom but he thought she was still alive and the doctors didn't tell him, they let him in the room and she was already covered up and he walked in and was like, it's over ?? he couldn't believe it , he just broke down. One of the nurses that was in the OR called my sister and he was crying, apologizing to us because he thought my brother already knew. He told us how sorry he was. Now my family is broken, my mom was the rock that held us all together. We didn't have money growing up, we didn't have a lot of the finer things in life but we had love. She loved us like no one could. She did it all for her children and most importantly she taught us about God. She lived her life for Jesus, she would pray on a regular basis, read her bible daily, go to church often as she could and when things looked hopeless she took them to god in prayer. She prayed not only for her children, grandchildren and siblings but for people all over the world, she would pray for all the countries and for the sick and homeless and anyone she could pray for. She gave over the years endlessly to Trinity Broadcasting Network, Feed the children, CBN, David Terrell Ministries, Boys Town, Children International, Food For All and to so many others. Month after month, year after year she was giving. She taught us how to give and there were times when we would just make food and take it to the park to give to the homeless, bottled water, sandwiches, noodles, chicken or whatever we could. She would never turn down a person needing help or asking for spare change, she would give freely. She would tell me all the time, it's better to give than to receive and that god would bless me. So I began giving as well, I would call and donate and try to help whenever I could. My mom was also a big giver to the goodwill. Over the years we gave so much, and everytime they would ask if we wanted a donation paper for a tax write off she would say no. she didn't want that, she was giving freely and she didn't want anything in return. That's who she was, she was the person who would mentor you and talk to you about Jesus and how over the years he brought her and our family through so many trials and tribulations. SHe praised god for everything, for the good times and the bad. She used to always tell me to be thankful and to praise god. Now there were times when i was suffering so much and I didn't want to praise god, I wanted god to help me and at the time it seemed like he wasn't. My mom was always there to tell me baby, hold on.. give your burdens over to the lord and he will help you and supply all your needs. I realized that he did just that. I remember when she had surgery for the cancer and she was wondering why god allowed her to come down with that. It was hard for her because her faith was shaken then. She couldn't believe after she was faithful to him for so many years that he would allow her to suffer so horribly and there my sister and I were telling her that she would be okay, that God loved her still and he had not forsaken her and that he would bring her through this. She was so discouraged at the time but we would not let up. She couldn't believe this was her children mentoring and encouragiing her as she had done for us over the years. She told me, she was happy and she felt relieved that her living and everything she had taught us was not in vain. She was thankful to God that we were listening to her and by example we followed her footsteps. She began to get better and we thought she would be okay. My mom was a pure Christian, she didn't drink, didn't smoke, didn't do drugs, didn't curse. She would make you turn the tv channel if you were watching something that cursed. She loved her cowboys though. Her favorites were Bonanza, The rifle man, High Chapparal, Wagon Train, The Virginian and so many others. She also loved the old shows, the clean shows, the original dennis the menace, columbo, family affair, petticoat junction, I married joan, hawai five o, the streets of san francisco, i spy, murder she wrote, in the heat of the night, matlock, the big vally, dr quinn, little house on the prairie, family ties, good times, 227, what's happening, the jeffersons, the brady bunch and so many others. Her favorite game shows were The price is right, deal or no deal, let's make a deal, the newlywed game, match game and who wants to be a millionaire. I loved spending time with my mom, she was someone I could always talk to and she would never judge me, she would tell me how much she loved me and how proud she was of me. She taught me how to carry myself as a lady and she taught me how to stand up for myself and I owe her so much. I felt like I let her down that night she was in the hospital and I told her she would be okay and that I would be waiting for her when she woke up but she never woke up. I felt that made me a liar. I had been taking care of my mom for months and I was preparing her meals, giving her medications on schedule and was taking her to her appointments and running errands for her. My mom had been weak for so long because before she found out she had cancer she was bleeding perfusely having vaginal bleeding and they made her very anemic. Before surgery she had 4 transfusions and then after surgery she had 2 more. She never got all her strength back and after she had the first surgery, she was too weak that they sent her to Ballard Rehabilitation and they were working on getting her strength back and getting her up and walking. She did so much better when she was in there and when she came home, they sent out a home health nurse, a physcialy therapist and an occupational therapist. They began doing exercises with her and the physical therapist thought it would benefit my mom to have some help with getting around. So she ordered her an walker , the kind that had a seat on it, she ordered her a wheel chair, a raised toilet seat with the rails and a shower chair and shower bench. So when my mom started walking more better she was using her walker all the time, it was helping her because she had the support to keep her from falling and when she got tired , she could just sit down. I did all I could to take care of her, on a daily basis. She was not strong enough to shower herself, so I bought the shower hose and I began to shower her daily, dress her and do everything for her but I loved her so much and I didn't care what I had to do, she was my mom. There were days when she thought she was a burden to me and she would tell me, that I work to hard and that she was sorry she was not able to do things for herself and i would immediately tell her to stop talking like that. I would tell her, she was my mom, I loved her and wanted to look after her and that she wasn't a burden on me. That she took care of me when I was little and over the years and now it was my turn to take care of her. She told me a couple weeks before she passed away , you said, you really stood by your mom, when all the others went on their way. you stood by your mom. She said, I don't know what I would have done with out you. She said I don't know how I would have made it and she said god is really going to bless you and he will remember everything you did for your mother. She told me how special I was and now that she is gone , I remember everything she ever told me. It has been so hard, going through all her things and seeing all the cards and letters she gave me over the years. Everybody keeps telling me it will get better but I don't see that happening. I can't go one day without crying for missing her so much. I am grateful because she is not in any more pain but I am hurting so badly without her. I have a big sister but we have never been that close, she seems to want to spend more time with me now but nobody could ever feel that empty space inside my heart for my mother. I recently moved in with my brother and I want so desperately for me and my daughter to be able to get a place of our own. It costs so much to pay for first and last months rent and I have this old 1994 car that has been giving me so much trouble and I am barely scraping along , just trying to make it. I would appreciate any help I am given. If anyone can find it in their heart to help me and my daughter move out and get our own place or simply help us with the day to day necessities, it would be greatly appreciated.

Help Us Start Over

If anyone can find it in their heart to help me and my daughter move out and get our own place or simply help us with the day to day necessities, it would be greatly appreciated.
i have a wonderful testimony to share. i was raped at 13 years of age. my life was turned upside down. i looked above and said to God, "i am going to go through some things in life arn't i?" He said "yes" then i said "and i'm going to help a bunch of people some day?" He said "yes"! i clearly know it was from God! i have gone through some things like He said, and He has been getting me ready to do the help part of my testimony... i was lead to this site in which i hope someone will see my story and want to help me get my teeth to fit my jaw line, due to my jaw being broken several times. i had my mouth wired shut for 8 months/ 5 months/...and some serious surgeries! i can not eat with people, talk confidently [as my teeth actually pop out!] I AM IN PAIN ALL THE TIME BECAUSE THEY SLIDE AROUND!!! it is my calling to share all that i have learned from Jesus through my experiences so others can come to a place of peace beyond all understanding! maybe someone could help me get some kind of screws that would fasten my dentures to my
jaw line/// or a special set of dentures that works with my wavy jaw line? i give my word on everything i say is true! i can set it up that you could talk to people who have known me all my life, and the progress that has been made with the help of the Holy Spirit! it is an awesome testimony! i hope that someone hears from God in their heart to help me/ help others!!! ps, help me: eat normal, talk with confidence, be pain free as opposed to pain constantly...! thank you for this oppurtunity to ask for help! it is my prayer that i will be able to do the same for someone else! much love, robbin.

Home Repairs

Posted by Asus54 on 2012-03-05 08:58:16

Hello
My wife and I bought an old house needing repairs. We thought we could fix it up ourselves because it looks so easy on tv. Anyway everything keeps falling apart on it. I have had my pipes burst twice, ac is out, foundation has cracked all the walls, electrical system shoots fireballs out of the breaker box.
I just want it all fixed. I need about 20k to live I. Safety. If everyone could just give me a bunch of small donations that would be great. Or if someone wants to give me 20 grand that would also be great. Lol. Thanks

I want money for a house payment. :)

Hello, I am a recently graduated college student from UC Davis. I have had to suffer through the recent economy, and as such, I am extremely fed up with the current situation. My ultimate goal is to buy my own house, however, I am short of the funds necessary to make such a purchase. Therefore, I am making my heartfelt ask to any and all out there to donate money to me, for my benefit. I would appreciate any and all donation. Ten bucks would be a good start, but a hundred would be grand. Thanks a bunch!

I want to Treat My Mum.

Posted by MissyM on 2012-01-25 08:58:41

My Mum has been receiving Treatment for Bladder Cancer for over 10 years.Approximately 5 years ago it came back with a vengeance and spread to one of her kidneys. My mum had to have it removed and was in hospital for 10 days.Due to all the chemotherapy my mum has received over the years, her bladder is weak. She has not had a decent nights sleep for years as she has to keep going to the Toilet through out the night.

My mum never complains about the pain,Always puts others before her own needs. She is always rushing about trying to help anyone who needs her help.

I would like to treat my mum to the biggest bunch of flowers anyone can make up for her.She loves Roses and Carnations. She used to love Gardening but has had to give this up due to her illness.I do try to help her as much as I can.
I am struggling to find the money to pay for the flowers because I am on a very limited Income.I have 3 children and only work part time.I have been raising them myself as Their father passed away 3 years ago.

Any help would be very much appreciated.I Do not expect Much, even if it is 50 pence. It would be very much appreciated and If I raise enough then the first thing I am going to do is go to the Florist and get them to make her a beautiful bunch of flowers.
It is my way of saying Thank you for all she has done for me and the Grandchildren because she really is a Wonderful Mother.

Save a Home for Christmas

Posted by Mimzy on 2011-12-14 15:58:14

I'm trying to get up donations, any amount to help out a friend that is losing her home after Christmas. I've contacted a few places to help, I've put up a webpage on my site and I've hit the social network sites as well as online friends to help.

She needs $5k to stop the bank from foreclosing. She's a good person & I don't want her family to be homeless after the Holidays. I have to do all I can to help her, I just can't give up and do nothing.
The page I made is at www.viviti.me/starrweaver/donation.html - if you want to know more go there. She doesn't have a Paypal account, so I'm collecting all the money for her. Also try not to use donation buttons, Paypal charges a fee for donations. Use send money and gift instead, then it won't take out the fees.

Also if you have a business, you can give gifts up to $20 for the Holidays and write it off on your taxes. Also for those trying to find work, if you can't get a job, create a business. Employ yourself, it isn't difficult & making an online business is less costly. Think about it and take a good look at what hobbies, skills & talents you have. Invest in yourself, check out some sites for freelance work or even fiverr.com to see what others are doing for $5.

Think of metal scrapping, recycle & get paid at scrap yards. Dead batteries can be taken in for money too. Think out of the box - brainstorm and come up with something you can do. It's better than nothing...right?

If you go to my aidpage.com site I've listed a bunch of resources. There are others that can help give more resources too. It's a supportive and helpful site to find information.

Please help if you can, She doesn't have much time left. Any amount would be a big help.

Getting a divorce from habitual liar. HELP!

Posted by ThisFamilyNeedsHelp on 2011-12-06 13:58:11

Please help! 37 year old mother of a 5 yr old and a 12 yr old is getting a divorce from my habitual liar husband. I thought I married the man I would spend the rest of my life with, I had planned on only doing it once. I do not work right now. I was doing hair when we met and he wanted me to quit and stay home with our son until he started school. I saw that our relationship was heading downhill and not getting any better and decided I need to go back to school to finish my Bachelor degree in Business Management. I am hoping to finish up by July or October of next year, 2012. I want to open my own business so I can support my wonderful children and give them the things they need and some of the things they want. My 2 children and I, along with our 2 small dogs, had to move in with my mother, uncle, grandmother, and brother. We have been here for a year on Dec 10th and have been separated from my husband that long. He has given me very little money for support in the past year, spent all the tax return, took out a loan on my previously paid off vehicle and spent that money, and ended up getting me in trouble with a bad check to our previous landlord. We had a 2007 Dodge Ram Quad cab, I was primary on the loan, he was secondary, and he said he was trading it in for a Chevy Equinox, better gas mileage and cheaper payments. this was 3 months ago. I am now realizing, how can you trade in a vehicle when the other person on the loan never signed the papers? So now I have people calling me saying they are coming after me for the Dodge truck. I have no clue what I'm going to have to or be able to do on that.

He put a bunch of our stuff in storage when we separated, we moved to Missouri with my mom and he moved in with a friend in Iowa and then LOST it, so I don't have a lot of stuff I've worked for and had before we even met. The list of stuff he lost...5 seat sectional with chaise lounger, 37" flat screen tv, PS2 and about 12 games, Wii and 2 games, new surround sound, 5 disc stereo system, new bluray player, box of my season dvds like Smallville, Friends, One Tree Hill and ER, a huge box of my Disney VHS that I had been collecting since high school, nice new short entertainment center, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, washer and dryer, refrigerator, tall dining table with chairs, vacuum, electric can opener, butcher block knife set, corelware dishes, stainless steel pots and pan set, toaster, king bed, bookcase, desk, riding lawnmower, 2 weed eaters, etc. I probably could keep going.

I'm living on the good will and love my family offers and my small student loan refunds. I get NO child support. I am looking to pay off $15,000 in student loans, the $6200 loan on my Tahoe, the $1100 bad check and a couple hundred in lawyer fees, and the $1,400 Target Visa he ran up and let go bad. I need 4 new tires, an alignment, and a new windshield on the Tahoe. I would like to build my children and I a house in the next 3-4 years.

My goals...
~ Finish my BSBA in Management, end of 2012.
~ Thinking about getting my MBA.
~ Open my business, if you are interested I can tell you about it. Looking for potential investors. Working toward fall of 2012, may have to be fall of 2013.
~ Build my kids and I a house, which my mother will eventually come live with us. Right now she is taking care of my grandmother. If my business takes off like I foresee, I would like to build as I have the money so I don't have a mortgage, or put 50% down and get a loan for the rest.
~Be happy in life!

I am an honest Christian woman and I believe that the bills should be paid first BEFORE you go out and blow any money on luxuries such as eating out. He eats out a lot!

If you find it in your heart to help me out, please send me a note with how you would like for me to use the money, 3 choices as there will hopefully be others who can help me, and I can send you proof that that bill was paid. This is new to me and my first attempt at "cyberbegging", which has taken all I have. I am proud and have done many things on my own, so it is very humiliating for me to have to take this route.

I would assume your donation is tax deductible, but you will have to check on that.

If this works for me, I will give back and help out others who need it.

God Bless you and your family. Happy Holidays!

Organized crime trying to get my children to be prostitutes.

Posted by Winner99 on 2011-10-30 13:58:55

Some illegal aliens took my children and they work for state agencies. They are trying to sell them as prostitutes and have done a bunch of illegal things. They made false allegations against me. They also made one of my children lie. They want to fund World War 3 by stealing property and by taking advantage of children. They are communist Nazis. They are trying to get me to commit suicide and steal from my relatives. Please help this is true. They do everything illegal and are terrorists. They put children with child molesters and are the scum of the earth. I was not arrested due to the fact I did nothing wrong or illegal. They made felony false allegations. They have stolen all I have. Thanks for your kindness. God bless you. We must stop them now.

The true definition of hell is not a lake of fire where you get stuck by devils with pitch forks and get all burned up and such ! Its holding a sign that says {got wife @ 3 kids} in the very very rural N.GA mountains. This is the true original birth place of the word REDNECK. Try to imagine dodging beer bottles, old ladies giving you the finger, people screaming get a job with so much force and volume that you would think they would strangle to death on their own vocal cords. Not to mention the periodic deer rifle or pistol to the face and the death threats that goes along with the [if i ever see you here again] bullshit !!! I have been out of work since the 3rd week of march 2007 with a good wife and 3 really good kids {boy15-girl14-boy13}. I'm not gonna go into a bunch of pages of boring wants and whys, but we do need some financial help please ??? Thank you sincerily...

Posted by GoodHearted on 2011-09-13 23:58:34

Hello,
I'm a good person who desperately needs a helping hand. I need $5000 to get back on my feet and be in a position to carry myself again and be back in the position to help my family. I've lost everything due to too many misfortunes in a row. I couldn't afford my car so I gave it away to a needy family. I could of sold it for a $1000 and help myself but that's not the way my heart works. I now ride a bicycle, but no one takes me serious riding a bike to a job. I have been ran off the road and had bottles thrown at me as I rode along the road. It stinks but I must do what I have to. I ride 25 miles round trip to volunteer at an animal shelter.
All my life I've thought about and helped others. In the past months I've really had some bad luck with finding work. I am now facing being homeless and barely can put food on the table.

It takes allot for me to ask for help, but I did. I went around to all my friends and family before considering asking strangers here on the internet. I have the greatest bunch of friends and family but they are in no position to help me. It hurts me to even be in this position and the mental weight is taking it's toll.

I'm used to being the person who gives out the help. I feel embarrassed but have none to ask for this kind of help. Being a Dad I feel I'm failing and it's killing my heart not to be able to be their for others like I used to be when I had work.

I've been praying to the Lord that he brings me help. $5000 would turn my life around. Your generosity can give me a new lease on life and put me in a position where I can carry myself again and get back to helping others. $5000 will help me catch up on back rent, pay some bills, buy some food and buy a car so I can help my family again. I'm asking for a miracle. I know many people look down on those asking for help. They think were lazy or it's a scam. I'm here to tell you that there ARE good people like me who are genuine and need a helping hand and not a hand out.
If you can help me I would be so grateful. Whatever you can afford to give will greatly be appreciated.

50 Yr Old Newly Divorced Single Mom Drowning in Divorce Debt

Posted by Zana on 2011-08-11 19:58:53

I'm a kind, generous, caring person who tries to give back and always pay-it-forward.

In my divorce fog I hired the world's worse divorce lawyer and got screwed.

I'm left with ALL marital debt($125,000; my house needs a bunch of work; my bills are higher than my alimony and despite intense effort to find a job (all day everyday)I'm not even getting interviews.

I'm so stressed out my heart constantly pounds and I, typically healthy, am afraid I'll have a heart attack which is of particular concern since I have a 10 year old daughter who depends on me.

I have tried everything else to get out of this mess but nothing's working.

At the end of our rope & not sure what else to do....

Hi there. My boyfriend of 11 years and I are struggling more than we ever have. We have a 1 year old daughter that is the light of our life and about the only thing keeping us going at the moment. My boyfriend lost his job in May. I am only working about 20 hours per week. We haven't been able to pay our rent since June and the bank called our landlord threatening foreclosure. The last rent payment we made we had to write a bad check and now the checking account will be closed on the 15th. This month, I has to take out a title loan on my car just to pay the electric bill and get some groceries. I'm considering applying for food stamps but have always been too proud. I'm a college grad and still cannot find a full time job. Our credit is completely ruined from when we were younger and we have unfortunately learned our lesson the hard way. If anyone could help it would be sooo greatly appreciated. If anyone has any ideas that would help us that would be amazing as well. Thanks a bunch!

Single Mother Stricken by Illness

Posted by sarahestatha on 2011-07-13 11:58:26

I don't know where else to turn. I'm hoping that there are people out there kind enough and in a position to help me in my desperate situation. Let me give you a bit of a look into my life.....I have two beautiful sons, 9 and 11.They are absolutely wonderful and they mean the world to me. Unfortunately I am dealing with an unbearable amount of hardships and I cannot give them any of the things they deserve.

I lost my job due to the business unexpectedly closing and soon after, fell VERY ill. I am trying to get the proper care and diagnoses that I so desperately need in order to properly care for my children but cannot seem to find anyone to help me. I have state insurance and it is next to impossible to find a doctor who is actually willing to invest some time into finding out what is wrong with me.

I cannot work a regular job because of being so ill. I have skills in computers and websites, but the job market for that is not very good. I also have college degrees in IT and administration. I am willing to work from home, but there again, no work is available that I can find, but I put in applications daily. We are receiving food stamps, but we are not eligible for anything else. I have no credit card debt or bank loans, but my medical expenses are well into the thousands.

I have tried to get on disability but was denied because I don't have a proper diagnoses from a doctor. It is believed by some of the doctors I have spoken to that I may have severe epilepsy, but in order to get a diagnoses I would need to see a bunch of different specialists and undergo several tests, which my insurance will not cover and I do not have the money for.

I'm a single mom, which makes all of this so much more difficult to deal with. I don't have any friends or family who can help me. I am reaching out hoping to find any kind of help possible. I just don't know what else to do. I feel so helpless, all I want is to be here for my children and be able to provide the things they need. I'm the only one they have in the whole world and I feel like I'm failing them.

I pray every day that I have the strength to keep pressing on but I'm getting really scared because my health is quickly deteriorating. Any donations to help me and my children, be able to afford proper health care, and pay off my debts, would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read. God bless!
I am hoping to find someone with a big enough heart to help us out here. We have two children, 9 and 6, myself and my husband, and my step-mother. My husband hurt his arm in 2007 at work, and we are still in court with his former employer, because he lost use of his right arm. So he is unable to work, and we receive welfare money. I am a really bad type 1 diabetic and have been since I was 5, and am unable to maintain proper employment, so I am on on SSD. We also have my father's (he passed away at Christmas in 2010) fiance, who is may as well be a step-mother to me who lives with us, who has 3 types of cancer, all stage 4, and she is bedridden, and very very sick. (and she is only 57) We lost our baby son to SIDS in 2009, and things have just kept up being really difficult for us, everytime we almost catch up on bills, somebody dies or gets sick, or the car breaks, and then we end up borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. We have a really old house (pre-civil war) which is hard to keep heated in the winter, and hard to keep cool in the summer, and cant afford to fix the furnace, the water tanks, or the windows. Our car is a '99 van thats falling apart worse every day, and alls we do is drive to doctors and the grocery store. I am at the end of the rope here with being able to sell off any collectibles or music, or electronics that we have, I've been recycling bottles from family members, and saving up all the change we find, but it just isn't enough. My kids, I can't even afford them new summer clothes, and they're both growing like weeds. I have been lucky that I always prepare for the worst, and so I have a bunch of canned food, and we have a few chickens that give us eggs, but we are on our way to sinking beyond the point of saving. Please, we are good God-fearing people, we aren't out to buy ourselves some tv or motorcycle, we have no credit card debt, cuz we think its bad to do that, we just have nothing left to give. I would like to be able to fix our furnace, and insulate our hotwater tank, and maybe be able to fix our car better than we've been doing with metal tape and putty. I would like to be able to get a bag of fresh vegetables and fruit for the kids to stay healthy, and I would like to be able to pay our bills this month.

Need some help to get things back to normal for my son

Posted by Angelsmama on 2011-04-30 03:58:17

I am a 38 year old single mom of a 3 year old boy. The last year has been super difficult for us, and it seems like the rain is never going to stop. I have been off work on disability since June 26, 2010, due to heart problems. I was born with a heart defect and had to have open heart surger at 3 1/2 years old. Last year, scar tissue from the surgery began causing serious heart issues. During the course of figuring out what excactly was wrong with my heart, I had 2 different two day trips to the hospital, 3 emergency room visits, numerous doctor appointments, copays, prescriptions, changed prescriptions etc that have costed several hundred dollars in copays (almost $1000). In addition to that, due to paperwork problems at work, my disability was delayed by almost three months, so I fell behind on my rent and utilities.

During the time I had no income, I borrowed $3000 from my Mother to pay my rent and bills. Unfortunately, due to a loss of income herself, she is no longer able to help me. I also ended up borrowing $400 from my Grandparents to repair the head gasket on my only vehicle. I ended up moving to a cheaper place because the utilities were included and after living there 3 months, the owner of the house decided not to pay the utilities and let the power get shut off and refused to have them turned back on, even though I have sleep apnea and have to use a CPAP machine at night. I had a cardiac ablation done on March 25, 2011. The power was turned off 3 days later, on March 28th. It has been a full month and the power is still off. I cannot turn the utilities on in my name because there are two houses on the same meter, so if I got the utilities in my name, I would have to pay for both houses.

I found another place to move to, but spent hundreds of dollars in gas, moving truck rental fees, storage unit fees and moving help. On one of my moving trips, the drive line snapped on my Ford Explorer. I had to pay $250 to get it repaired. Eight days later the altenator went out and I had to get that replaced, which cost me $175. The mechanic told me that my battery was also bad, so I had to pay another $45 for a new battery.

On top of that, the house that I am moving out of was broken into yesterday and several items were stolen. I am a Certified Massage Therapist and my Massage Chair was stolen, along with a weedeater, my mothers Hoover carpet cleaner, my vacuum cleaner, my kodak printer, various household goods, about 35 old nintendo games, a bunch of art supplies for my son and almost all of my son's toys were stolen. 3 large moving boxes full of toys were taken out of his room. I have been working on moving all month long, but I had no one to help me and after just having surgery I was only able to do so much every day. I still have more to move this weekend.

I am sorry this is so long, I am just don't know where else to go. The kicker is, I have renter's insurance, but my work stopped paying the premiums 3 months ago and I was only notified on Wednesday, the 27th of April. So, since my premiums haven't been paid, I am not covered. I am looking to get some help so I can pay back my Grandparents, pay back my Mom and replace my sons toys and my massage chair. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

HOMELESS SINGLE MOTHER WITH FIVE CHILDREN

Posted by summerdawnmoore on 2011-04-23 12:58:58

Well my story started with my childrens father leaving without a trace which I think had alot to do with the stress of living day to day. A week after he left my trucks motor blew up, and we live nearly twenty miles from town so walking to work was out of the question. Being a mother of five since I was fifteen yrs old n on my own didnt leave me with much time on my hands to make friends. And without there father to help with bills, and getting fired from my job within two weeks because I couldnt get to work ,or anywhere for that matter, lead to us losing our home and land within a matter of weeks. It didnt help that when there dad left he left us with a bunch of unpaid bills, so it didnt take long at all before we were out on the streets. Sure we've by The Grace of God somehow found a place to lay our heads and food to eat, but it has been an awful situation for my kids and myself. People we have known for years MAY let us stay for a day or to and maybe even a week or so if we're really lucky, but it seems as if no one is truely intrested in helping us to get back on our feet. Its a shame this world we live in has come to this point. I have worked my whole live to provide for my family, and along the way helped everyone I possibilty could, but it dosent seem like people care at all any more. I mean all we need is a place to stay for about a month and someone who is willing to take me back and forth to work until I can get a pay check. In some cases I can understand why people cant help because times are so hard on everyone right now they just cant afford the gas. In the last five months I have changed my kids schools 7 times. That is so much stress for a child to go through my girls are 15, 13, 10, 9, and 5. And they are wonderful very deserving children who DO NOT DESERVE THIS they are failing in school and having to worry day to day about where will be sleeping the next day. Of course I went to the government for help and it was shocking to find out it was no help at all... after working my whole life they said all we could draw was 600 dollars a month which would have been great, had I been able to draw it without working 30 hrs per week community service, that I am more than willing to do, if they would only help me with transportation. I signed up on this and begged everyone I knew and even ppl I didnt know to give me a ride to their predetermined place to work, only to work 20 hrs that week and lose out on the check altogether. Its terrible that Im willing and ready to work and cant find the transportation or a place suitable for my children to stay while im there. We are currently staying with the 1 person that I would call a friend, and have been here a steady two weeks, but thats not without tons of problems. I do recieve food stamps but they do not last all month with so many mouths to feed, and my friend that we are staying with is on a set income and in a wheelchair. He has told me several times that we need to find somewhere else to go, but I am completely out of options. Even the homeless shelters in our area do not have room for us all, so I have no idea what tomorrow holds for my family. If anyone out there has the means and heart to help us even a little we would be very greatful. I do know The Lord, and know what His Word says about giving. And I can assure you that it will not go unnoticed by Him, He will bless you for helping his people, and even return your donation to you in ways you cant possibly immagine. I can also promise that we will pray for you to be blessed and for you and your loved ones to be watched over and protected. If its in your ability and in your heart to help us God Bless you and your family, if you can not afford to help financially I ask that you would please keep us in your prayers, thanks to anyone who took the time just to listen. If you would like to contact me please call (606) 878-8725, or write to me at 123 Bentely Rd. London KY 40744. Even if we leave this residence I will be able to get messages and mail
