Family Help

Posted by mama1971 on 2012-05-21 10:58:17

Our problems began in 2010. My husband was injured on the job that he was doing although he has severe health issues. After getting injured he was later fired. At this time he is pursuing disability and we have workers comp suit in place. In the mean time we are currently living day by day. I work part time and have been trying so hard to get a full time position. My daughter in a freshman in college and my son a freshman in high school. My daughter made an adult decision and got pregnant. She is an awesome girl and abortion isn't an option for her. We are doing everything we can to add room to our home. We had an unfinished bonus room that we would like to complete for the baby since her room is only a 10 by 10. We are very simple people with a real need. We just want to get caught up or ahead somewhat on our bills. What makes this different is we would like to pay it back to anyone who is willing to give us a break. The disability takes time as does the workers comp suit. We are hard working people who only want what is best for our family. We are looking at around 3 to $5,000. As I said If the lender is someone local I can work for it also. I can clean or cook. We will take anything that is offered. We just need a little help. Thanks so much for reading.

Everytime I stand tall my so called friends watch me fall

I hate that I'm here begging for help! I need some financial assistance badly. My mother is very ill and my husband is disabled to the point that I have to take care of him as well. I have 6 children in my care. Im struggling badly. Everyday I wake up crying. I don't know how to do this anymore. I will never quit loving and trying to provide for my loved ones, but honesty I have absolutely nothing left. I'm only 27 and I'm doing what any mother/daughter would do, but now I'm out of means to do so. Please help me. I don't know who else to ask ... I swear if someone helps me so help me God I will pay it forward. I love my family and I fear everyday that my spirit will break
Hi, I was recently living in Cancun working and studying. Somebody starting stalking me and would break into my apartment whenever I was out. They stole my cameras, my computer, my clothes, my ipod. The last night that I was there they went in to try to do something to me. It was a traumatic experience and I decided to go home to Canada. However, now that I am here I have no job and no computer. I am job hunting but would really appreciate a donation to help me replace some of the stolen items. I also need to pay to have some of my stuff that is at a friends house in Mexico shipped to me here in Canada. Please help me! It would be greatly appreciated.

help paying past due rent

Posted by plm-n-need on 2012-05-15 08:58:09

Hello. Im writing this with my pride put aside because i've let the love of my life down as far as im concerned and need help in order to pay the remaining past due rent for this month. This is not easy for me to do because of the overwhelming feeling of failure that just eats me up inside. We have been together for more than 12 yrs now and we have always managed somehow to make it through some extremely difficult times. This women is an Angel of Mercy for those who know her and to her family she is simply the rock. She is 1 of 5 sisters, all having 2 children a piece, and to which all 10 children she has taken in under our roof for extended periods through all the years i've known her. She is the most positive and giving person I have ever met! I LIVE FOR THIS WOMEN and have always reassured her that I could never at any cost, no matter how tough things got, give her reason for serious concern or not be able to get us past any finacial issues no matter how bad it looks. Yes im feeling very sorry for myself because I was a truck driver and lost my job because of an accident that was my fault and where knowone was injured, resulted in a dollar amount that was too high for my company to retain insurance in order for me to continue in thier employment. Week to week we got by and then back in December the freight slowed and my checks that the bulk of our bills and all the rent came out of, was now barely making the household bills. We fell behind Dec and Jan rent and was given such a break from an understanding landlord and we caught up in Feb with every dime of our tax refund given to a thankful landlord but one that stated, from that point on, we must be on time. After all the struggle we went through and the extreme patients and understanding of our landlord....now i've lost my job! We have spent the first half of this month calling and talking to and submitting applications to so many programs for assistance but getting turned away with no solutions. We have no more time and if forced to moved i will have let down the last person on earth that deserves it. Our rent is $675 a month and sent $300 yesterday and it was everything we had. we need $375 and nothing more. if anyone can help, you will find knowone more greatful beyond words can trully express and any additional info needed for your consideration can be provided if requested. Thanks to all that take the time to consider any possibility for help.

About to lose my childhood home!!!!

Posted by MOMosa28 on 2012-05-14 10:58:44

I am a single mother of one 7yr old that is more than a gift!! I had to step down from college for a little while when I got pregnant to earn money. I cant afford it as long as im trying to save my home. I have went through health issues, lost my job, depression, struggles and a lot of spirit breaking situations, but surprisingly im still standing and fighting! This house was the only house that I have ever known as well as my son. I bought the house from my parents when they were going through a divorce that forced the hand of them selling the house so in an effort to save my best memories and something thats been in the family since '82 I took the responsibility. I've been trying to fight against the odds my whole life so in my last effort against defeat I've came here to try and save my home!! I have court on Thursday to find out how much time I have before they completely forclose, but if anybody and I mean anybody out there can help please!!!! Every dollar counts because I have no where to turn and I need approximately $10,000 to save my home!! I dont know how much fight I have left in me and im trying to keep strong in front of my son since we have nowhere to go or no help!! Pride aside thanks in advance for anything that u can give and I will humble myself dramatically to protect my son. I just found a new job and praying its not too late!!

I just need a break

Posted by juststartingover on 2012-05-12 17:58:13

I am a sophomore at a local community college. I am currently staying with a family member, since I lost my job 2 years ago. We are about to lose our electric because my sister is the only one working and her income barely covers rent. We have no cable etc at home. I can not start my next semester of college because I owe the school 600 dollars after having to drop 2 classes this past semester because my mother became very ill early in the semester. I was left with her final bills as well. So I just need a break, and anything would be greatly appreciated

A short break

Posted by darcys_mommy on 2012-05-12 11:58:57

Hi, I am a 21 year old woman... in December my daughter was born via emergency c-section at 27 week weighing just 495g.. She survived for 71 days and fought through so much, 4 operations, gaining weight, battling infection however in the end her tiny heart stopped... she weighed 3lb 3oz by then... My daughter died in the February to my suprise i found out i was pregnant again in April only to miscarry at 6 weeks... My family disowned me because i buried my daughter in her fathers hometown even though my 'family' did not visit her in her 71 beautiful days of life.. i never left my daughter and even argued with a registrar one night after being admitted to hospital that he was to let me away for 2 hours to say good night...I need a short break and would greatly appreciate any donations...

i have a solid plan

Posted by glhunt68 on 2012-05-11 19:58:54

i have experienced a major loss of income and an increased living expense and have fallen behind on my bills so bad that i can not even dream of a future. i know what i need to do, i am determined to do it but i am unable to afford the cuurrent bills and find it difficult to even dream of fulfilling my plans for a secure future for myself and my children. my plan is to catch up on the current bills, get out of the car loan that i currently have and purchase a vehicle that has less expensive payments, repair my credit,my taxes and enroll in courses for real estate and/or bookkeeping. i have 2 children who have suffered and lost out on so much due to the finances, the job requirements and insecurity. i really need help to follow through and i promise to pay it forward when i am able. i will appreciate any help i can get and will keep all donors posted on the progress if they are interested. i have worked hard my whole life and have never caught a lucky break. unfortunately i have chosen a career that requires skills that i either do not have or that i am getting too old for. i have been in this business since i left home at 17 and have worked in every facet of the business but the job i am best at is for younger people and i am quickly approaching the age where i will no longer be able to comprete or will find employment less likely. i am looking for a better life. an easier life and the opportunities that i deserve but i am unable to obtain in my current situation, job and finances. please help me. i need approximatly $15-20000 but anything will help , be very appreciated and well invested. thank you

Family in Desperation

My name is Nick and my family is having an incredible amount of problems. In late august last year we lost our house. My father left us a few years ago so its me (19), my sister (20), my mother, and my little sister (8). For months after my family stayed at a Days Inn trying to get back on track but it was a failure. No matter what we did we couldn't get out of our slump. Because of this we were forced to move into our cousins house in Brooklyn in late October to help catch up. This was bad because my sister and I work and go to college in New Jersey and my little sister goes to school there too so we were forced to drive back and forth every day. My mother works with the Board of ED in the city so it wasn't that bad. My cousins are truly terrible people for they non-stop pestered when we would be leaving and basically kicked us out a week before christmas because and I quote "they needed room to put up their tree". After we went back to New Jersey and stayed at a hotel in point pleasant which is where we are now. With much trying and hard work my mother fixed up her credit and we are now much closer to buying a house. We found the perfect one however we have no money for the initial 1,000 because we need to pay to stay at the hotel and my hours have been cut bad. On top of the at the end of May the rates for the hotel go up to 200 a night. My mother is beginning to think maybe we shouldn't be doing this now but know if we don't then we wont ever move forward. We have had the worst luck with bills, no home of our own, and our family has turned their backs on us with living with us and helping us out financially. I have no idea what to do anymore. Please I am in desperate need of help. I just need to give my family the lucky break we need in order to continue with whats right. Please help me with this, I beg of you. We have had too many people turn their backs on us, don't add to that list.

Please I am in desperate need of help. I just need to give my family the lucky break we need in order to continue with whats right. Please help me with this, I beg of you. We have had too many people turn their backs on us, don't add to that list.
