I have been saving money $50 at a time for ten months in an effort to build some emergency funds. I was able to save $2000.00. It took me 20 months. I finally had enough to file bankruptcy and make a new start. Last Wednesday I lost the envelope containing the cash. I don't know whether I lost it or if it was stolen- but when I got to my attorney's office it was gone. I am heartbroken!!! I work almost 60 hours a week- I don't spend frivolously- I just can't make ends meet!!! I am so frustrated and feel like I am at the end of my rope. I have a son who I can't get tutoring or braces or even afford insurance for him so he can learn to drive. I feel like a failure! I don't want or need a million dollars, I need $2,000.00. Any help will be appreciated. God Bless those who read this and help!!!

Hi im a 41 year old single mother.My husband of 20 years decided that he doesnt wanted to be married anymore and left he is not paying any child support.I started work about 6 weeks ago but are on a very low income.My daughter need braces urgently and I can't afford it she is very depress and is trying to find part time work but is unsuccesfull,the braces will cost $6000+ I dont have enough money in a week to feed us.I realy want to help my child she was diagnose about a year ago as clinicaly depress and this situation with her dad leaving and now the braces is making everything worse.I don't know what else to do but ask someone for help.Please if you have a spair dolar I would be very thankfull.I know there is people out there with much worse problems than me but Im a parent I love my children with all my hart and would do anything for them.Please help me help my child.

Well. Like many on here, I have to swallow my pride because I'm suffering and can't make ends meat. Back in December. I learned I had a leak on my pipes. When I rcd a $498 water bill, needless to say I was shocked. I work only part-time at a school helping special need kids and have one at home myself. They cut back my hours. there looking for ways to cur back schools budget. I was sacraficed. I get about 250 every 2 weeks. One month I will pay electric then next another. I'm always behind. My son has pdd Nos and is a joy but he suffers cause I. Can't take him anywhere or feed him foods he likes due to our low income. I have to pick him up every other Sundays 2 nhour drive from his fathers so food gets pasted so u can get my child. Oh I can't afford car insurance. I don't know what else to for. I would like to pay off KY divorce lawyer and get insurance and braces fir Michael and get rid of my bills. Water iou. $498. Rent $500. Lawyer. $2,000. I.surance. approximately 50 per month. Braces and dental for me: 10,000 which is asking a lot. Better smile to move on with my life would help me and my child. God bless good people who care and want to help. My wife was recienty killed in a car accident by some one with no car insurance.I have 2 children and no mother.I'm disabled as well .neck curvical injury.Leaving me partialy parralized right side.MY wife worked before accident,but wasn't there long enough to get insurance. so we have no insurance for me or kids.My children need dental work. braces for one and check ups.I also have medical Bills from one of them having to go to the hospital for pnemonia and fallow up treatments.One needs glasses as well.I have applied for federal dissability help, but was told it can take a year to hear from them.my children need winter clothing.My rent is behind as i used some of it to pay for food and heating & electric bills, so we won't get shut off.We have no place to go when we get evicted. no relatives to relie on as well.can you please help me any way you can.Im 2 months rent behind at $1075 per month.No savings and my only credit card is maxed out at $2500 because of no more income.Iwas always a hard worker. never thought any thing like this could happen. can you please help us? i love my kids.

Help my daughter please! I have not had any waork for several months, I am applying every day for work, and I know I will get a jog soon, but after months of having to live on my student loan checks alone, I have bills piled up, 2 weeks late with rent and four months late with payment for my daughters braces. The orthodontist will not see her unless monthly payments are made!! She hasn't been there for four months :( I am desperate, so I am posting here. I have to give the orthodontist $400 befor he will see her, and that is soon going to be $500... Any help would help! I have no family here that can help us. I am alone with two children, and I see no other way out than to ask for help.

Cyber Panhandling? I had never heard of such a thing until I saw a post about Karyn Bosnak last month. She starts a website and asks for $20,000 to help her pay off her credit cards. And she does it!! When I read about it I thought you've got to be kidding me, who would actually believe this girl's story? But then I saw it with my own eyes. All I can say is WOW, who would have thought? I don't have the money to start my own website nor do I have the $9.95 to have my post rotated here and frankly begging for money is making my stomach hurt. But here I am. Am I the only one who is sitting here staring at the screen not knowing how to do this, where to start or thinking do I really have the courage? The thing is, I really don't know what else to do. So here goes.

Wow, this is hard. How do I start? "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up"? Well that's true in a way I guess. I think my problem is I'm afraid to tell you my story because I don't want you to think I'm telling you it because I want you to feel sorry for me because I really don't but how will you know why I am where I am because of it. Ok I just deleted my story and will just say that I had open heart surgery a couple of years ago at the age of 39 for a tumor so you can imagine the medical bills racked up from that. I suffer from depression and PTSD (post tramatic stress disorder)and major anxiety so I've been in the hospital for that...more hospital bills. My husband was laid off from work for 9 months and finally landed a job in a different state and while we were driving up for a week of his training we flipped over twice on black ice. By the grace of God my husband, myself and our 13 year old daughter walked away. But we didn't have insurance because we couldn't afford it. We are so far behind on our bills, our cell phones are turned off, the electricity is next, my daughter needs a bed, she needs her braces put back on (we had to have them taken off when we lost our insurance). We have sold anything of value on craigslist. Our refrigerator is empty, I can't get a job because I don't have a car. If it was just me I'd live in a box, I truly don't want anything for me. But I don't want my daughter to suffer. Trying to hide our financial problems has been so hard but luckily she doesn't know the extent. She's such a good kid. Gets good grades, has the biggest heart and doesn't ask for much. It is killing me because I don't want her to suffer like we are.

Ok, I have to stop now. Please help me if you can. I meant what I said, if you want to know my story, I will tell you. Please know that I am being completely honest. Asking for help is hard but I just don't know what else to do.

Hello I'm a 38 year old man from Colorado. Late september of 2009 I caught the flu and, became very sick.The flu turned into double pnumonia and on October 3rd 09 I was admitted into I.C.U. and, placed on life support for two months in a coma.During that time I had died several times and, my girlfreind was faced with the decions each time wether or not to have me unplugged and, just let me pass(lucky for me even after she was told I'd possibly be brain damaged, she decided to keep me alive!).A few days after awaking I started to notice severe pain and, tingeling in my feet and,lower legs.I was told this pain would pass as I learned how to walk again,that was FAR from true.I spent months in bed unable to bare pressure on my feet.Then I progreessed a little and, somewhat got around with a walker,then with help of A.F.O. braces,then with a cane and finaly, with orthopedic shoe inserts.Never fully recovering.I've since been diagnosed with Peripherial Neuropathy.I have spent all my savings and monies on medical proceedures,specialty doctors ,medications, supplements,physical therapy,accupuncture,just to name a few.I'm still very sick and,unable to work.I receive Social Security payment but,(although I appriciate it grately and,could not get by witout it)thats not the same as working and the money barely covers my living expenses.I still need lots more medical attention but have no way to pay for it and, my other bills are falling behind as well.I would like to aquire enough funds to pay my bills and,possibly buy some exersise equipment to try and improve my health.I am not the kind of man to ask for help but, I'm desperate and, really don't know what else to do.If anyone who reads this is compelled to help I'd be so very gratefull.Weather or not you decide to help Thank You for taking the time to read my story,And may God bless you all.

My fiancé and I have started to struggle lately. He is a British citizen and is waiting for his immigration docs to come so he can legally work here. It's going to take another year for his documents to be finalized. He has run out of his savings and have had to rely on my credit cards to buy groceries. My sister Lisa needs braces, but they are going to cost $4200. She is 16 and has always been self conscious about her teeth. She is beautiful, but just doesn't see it because she only focuses on her 'crooked smile' and hardly smiles or covers her mouth when she does smile. Im a single mom of a special needs child struggling to pay for therapy equipment for our home. My son, Kaden, will be 2 next month and his life has never been easy. Just a short quick timeline to give you an idea...

*Born with torticollis- had physical therapy twice a week for 15 months
*Diagnosed with severe allergies at 5 months- have to avoid milk, eggs, soy, dogs, cats, dust, pollen, mold and use a breathing machine up to 3 times a day
*Diagnosed with macrocephaly at 6 months- extra fluid on his brain
*Diagnosed with hypotonia at 6 months- low muscle tone- wears leg braces

Just when I thought I had a handle on all these therapies and treatments, his behavior prgressively bacame very strange, he would curl up to sleep in his toy box, he was constantly hitting his head on walls or the floor, jumping or purposely falling off tall objects, stuffing his mouth, wanting food and eating as much as an adult... after months of trying to get a diagnosis we finally got a therapist that understood it all.
*Diagnosed with Sensory Integration Dsfunction at 23 months- hypo and hyper sensitive to all senses- needed extra pressure to feel being touched, and couldnt tell if he is hungry or full...

In order to provide him with sensory outlets to keep him calm and able to function in daily life we need to have some things at home that are safe for him to get that kind of stimulation he needs (rather than falling or banging his head). What has been reccomended to me is a therapy swing ($1500) and a sensory ball pit ($200) those are just two things that could help him among many many other things but this is all I could see as being reasonable to purchase.

I work and go to college full time in hopes that I one day wont be living paycheck to paycheck, however at this time I am in desperate need of some help to get these things for my son to help him function day to day. I save what I can from paychecks but its never much since some months I can barely afford the bills. Anything you can help with would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading our story.

my name is Reina. i need help getting braces. i was 9 when my teeth started to grow in on top of themselves. my family couldn't afford to get me braces. since then i have had to deal with nasty remarks about how ugly and gross my teeth look which really have shattered my confidence. i have missed out on a lot of things because i couldn't bare to bring attention to my teeth. i missed yearbook pictures, my own wedding pictures, and i always opt out of anything to do with smiling. i have tried recently to enter a study but couldn't afford the startup cost. since i am adult now treatment is quite expensive they quoted me at $8000.
