As I said I am sure you heard someone saying they need help. If you are reading this. It is hopeful that you are here to help someone with a request. AND I am more hopeful you have come to my ad to help me.

You see, I have been waiting for the last four years for what I call my turn. In that I have been waiting to find a job. Not much luck there. For my turn to live in a better home, with stuff that does not have bedbugs because there is no help in the area for beds and that do not come with those little blood suckers. My lags are still littered there bit marks.

It is so depressing because I am gaining way to much weight. AND because I only get food stamps. I cannot really afford the healer stuff. Out side my rent. I get less then $30.00 a month to live on ($29.00). That is $14.50 every two weeks. I barely have enough to buy the essentials. I am more then just struggling. I am almost suffering.

MY past makes it hard for me to get a job. AND I cannot improve my past if I cannot get a job. I have a hard time getting to school to get my GED. Because I have a lack of reliable transportation. AND that is in part of why I am here.

I am asking ANYONE. With the ability to help me with any little bit they can. Your generosity, will go towards helping me pay off my debt, buy a vehicle (and register it and insure it), and with any luck get on my feet.

You see, I have this plan. If I could get as close to $10,000 as possible (I am willing to pay back anyone willing to help me-upward of twice that if you can help with all that at once). To one pay back as much of the $1,000 give or take a few dollars (or close to because I could likely get the company to settle for less. Then I will like to buy me a truck (heavy duty or a former U-Haul) fix it up, register it, and insure it my guess is something like $8,000. The rest will go toward buying a bed that does not have bed bugs. Get a new par of boots (which cost about $50.00 locally). Blankets, pillows (again with out the bugs), and some other little bits and tickets.

But if I could get help with even half that I will make it work some how. (not to sound ungrateful). I appreciate the time it took to read this. AND To read others stories. I wish I could get on my feet it might very well be a day I will return and help someone out on here to. But like everyone else, I am in need to.

Now in closing. I do not know if I am more deserving or not. But if you could help me, perhaps make it my turn. I will not let what you help me with pass me up. Please help where you can. Even if all I get is like $500.00 I could buy me a bed. AND those little twinkets. I was talking about. Every dollars counts. Thanks for helping me, and other people.

I am a student in Northern Europe and I do not have the money to buy the proper jacket and boots needed to get through the bad winter weather we have. Luckily to this point it has been pretty mild so I have survived with sneakers and a short jacket but I am looking for the help to buy the proper winter jackets and boots that most others seem to own as they are pretty expensive.
For boots it is 1300kr and Jacket 850kr - US$380 or £240. My health would greatly appreciate your help

Hi my name is mariana miller and im a proud single mother of two. I do everything for my girls because they both deserve it. Im slightly ashamed to say im struggling financially and i dont have enough money to make ends meet, let alone provide them with a good christmas. Ive been unemployed since january 2011,due to my position being eliminated at work and my unemployment was exhausted this Oct. Since then ive been cleanin houses and I make tamales everyday to try and sell them but at a dollar per tamale it only takes me so far. My food stamps were cut off due to an error at the public aid office and my girls Mia (5) and Alisa (17) had to suffer a bit but all is well thanks to community food pantrys. Ive always thaught my girls how to survive while struggling and my oldest tells me "dont worry mom everythings going to b ok" but it stills breaks my heart that i cant have enough food this month not even to make tamales. Due to this temp. error i cant pay my rent,bills or nessesities, i really dont know where me and my girls are heading but we are all going to stay strong and just pray for the best. All I really want is to provide them with a beautiful decorated tree with presents underneath. my little girl needs clothes,shoes, toys. She has been begging nintendo dsi,she has played with it at doctors office while waiting and just loves it. My teenager wants stuff other teens want, like UGG boots size 7, Northface coat and a laptop. Honestly she really needs the laptop because she just got accepted to northeastern university. Yes Im very PROUD:). But she tells me that she understands my situation and she does cause she is very mature but my heart would be at ease if my girls got the christmas they deserve. I am staying in a Hotel for thanksgiving, which is tomorrow. I have sold what little valubles I have left to pay for my room, and tomorrow is my last night here. I was staying with my boyfriend for awhile but he left me about a week ago due to a drug addiction that was unknown to his family and I. When he left he took just about everything I owned including my clothing, shoes, coat, anything to make a quick buck. My wallet also was taken, so I have no sort of Identifcation to get any help from shelters or churchs or governemt funded foundations, I have three dollars to my name that will be spent on food for thanksgiving. All I am asking is for someone to help me pay for a room, or food, or even a warm outfit w/ boots and shoes. I am very thankful for what I do still have but sometimes a person needs a little help now and then. I have always put others before myself and tried my best to give them what they want and or need, but in my time of need my friends or people whom I thought were my friends are nowhere to be found. I am not from denver, so the few people that are there for me cannot do much more than they already have. I am not a greedy person and I will not give up hope or lose faith that there are still good in people and in todays society. I would be forever greatful for all the help I could get. $30 would be an amazing gift so that we can have a dinner for Thanksgiving. We are frugal. We are not addicts or mean people. It is very tough times and we are really struggling hard. We cannot afford to get a Thanksgiving dinner. It would be very very appreciated. It would really make our whole holiday. It will be used for what we say it will, a dinner. If there are other donations (which I don't really expect), we will use it for coat and boots for my husband. He will be working out in the cold, and has serious health problems. My husband is DIABETIC and NEEDS dental/medical work. We can NOT afford it, and dental work is so important for heart health and diabetics. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE. I'm working on constructing a home using earthbag techniques and I'm short on materials. I need a few hundred dollars for more sandbags, barbed wire as well as chicken wire and concrete to cover the outside of the structure. I'm using recycled doors and windows and lumber for flooring and other structural elements. My goal is to live off the approximately half acre of land I own, including farming wood for heating and cooking as well as food. I also need a new pair of boots, I'm wearing my boots and socks out fast as I'm doing all my digging to fill the bags with a shovel, no power tools or help from other people. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a small array of solar panels for electricity but I have no water storage or collection set up. To set up water storage and collection will take several hundred dollars as well. More solar panels and storage batteries are always desirable. If possible I can submit an Amazon wishlist, as I'd prefer to get assistance in the form of materials and equipment that I need, rather than just money, as I'm trying to get away from the monetary system entirely.

I am looking for any donations I can get to support a lengthy stay in the Joplin Missouri area to help with the Tornado clean up. I just lost my job for not willing to comply with their illegal practices and strive to always do the right thing, no matter what or how it may set me back. Anyway, I have contacted the Red cross,and United way, yet these services are so inundated with what has happened that I think I have gotten lost in their system after letting them know I am available. I also signed up with "show me response" Which is a organization that uses medical professionals that want to volunteer. I am a Licensed EMT and worked on a ambulance service for 8 years so I hope they can utilize me somewhere, yet have had no response from them as of yet either.

After losing my job and the impact of the economy the last few years I have virtually lost everything I have. I currently have nothing, no car, no home (staying in a hotel) and soon no money. Instead of feeling sorry for myself and my situation I want go to Joplin and help those who have lost everything too. I lost mine over time they lost theirs in minuets. In Joplin the still standing hotels are sold out, the remaining people and volunteers are staying in tents in peoples yards. I did make contact with a lady who offered for me to camp in her yard, but I have no tent. So my purpose of being on here is just to ask some kind hearted people who may not have the option of going to Joplin on their own to help, to sponsor me to get there and get the few things I need so I can help the people who need it.

This is not a scam and am not using this disaster for personal gain through this site, and if anyone has done that or trying to do that just remember God and Karma will someday hold you accountable!! Please help me with my cause if you can:) Thank you. PS if I get enough people to sponsor me to go there, I will email them on a weekly basis of my progress there, as well as try to send photos of whats going on with the clean up. (emails will depend on available wifi connections)

Here is what I am needing : 45.00 for bus ticket Kansas City to Joplin (Jefferson Lines). 49.00 for a Tent, 40.00 for steel toed boots (from Walmart), 15.00 for leather gloves, 5.00 for safety glasses, 30.00 for a used hardhat. and any donations for the purchase of food while I am there you can offer.

There may be food available for volunteers but would rather go down there and not deplete any of their resources as some people have gone down to capitalize on others misfortunes according to some news articles I have seen.

These things are the bare bones I need in order to be able to do this. Since I am unemployed I have the time to go and help, I just don't have the above resources and you can help me so I can help others. Thank you for your time in reading about my cause. Please Donate thanks :)

there are probably a million people who are begging for help. My purpose here is not to tell YOU why you should give me some money. I will not share my story, because there is always someone out there with a story worse off.
All I will disclose is this... not eating so my daughter can eat, is a regular occurrence. Not having enough money for boots and a coat in a town where winter is usually -15C. is what I am dealing with. No family to rely on.

Hello my name is James and I am 29 years old. I've never been one to ask for help but over the last year and a half things have got so bad for me that I have no choice but to ask for help. My problems started when I enlisted in the Army in August of 2009. At the time enlisting in the Army was an easy decision for me because I wanted to serve my country as best I could and I also would be able to return to college and work toward my degree. Things didn't go quite ad planned however because during the middle of basic training I started having pain in both of my feet and I wasn't sure why I was given a few pain pills and was told that I might need new boots however that wasn't the problem and I was still in pain. After seeing a foot specialist I was told I was flat footed and had bunions on both feet which would require surgery if I wanted to stay in the Army. The problem with that was the Army considered my injury EPTS(Exsisting Prior To Service) and they would no pay for the surgery and that I would be Medically Discharged. Since I got home in November 2009 I have been trying to find a job while dealing with constant pain in my feet. With the economy what it is jobs are very hard to come by, I never thought it would take me a year to get a job but that's the case. At this point I don't know how many options I have, I can't go back to the Army until I get surgery but I don't have that type of money & with no job I don't have insurance. I can't go back to school because I have student loans that I have to pay back and jobs are getting harder & harder to find. I know things can get better and I'm trying to look for the light at the end if the tunnel but sometimes it gets hard. If there's anyone that can help me with a donation I would greatly appreciate it and will never ever forget it.

The weather is getting much colder than it used to and I would appreciate some help in the form of used clothing or financial support. I could really use any long sleeve shirts, sweaters, hoodies, vests, whatever. I am also needing some boots for the snow.
