I am a single father, a good man and I am endanger of loosing my home. I am a corrections officer for the state of Nevada (I realize that's sounds like I make good money) but as most people are shocked to find out I protect the and do not even make 40,000 a year. The state has cut our pay mandated us to take furloughs and we will not see a pay increase for atleast the next two years. This can all be verified on the Nevada state web site. Hi, I find it emarassing to have to resort to this but things are now getting desperate.A failed business venture has left me in a large amount of debt.The business did work, but too much was being used to replenish stock and paying creditors.
Loans are at a maximum and it is now getting to the stage where I will be unable to find the repayments.
This could lead to foreclosure by the bank and loss of the house.
I just need to boost my finances to get me back on track.
My wife and I both work but the outgoings are exceeding the income.
For those that do help I would hope to return the favour over the next few months, either by returning any donations or helping others in need.

I have been previously taking 20mg depression tablet, then it was increased to 50 and now I am taking depression tablet of 150mg. I have been looking for a job for a year and half and filled so many application forms but was never called for interview. I am now very disappointed, lost all my confidence and have been very down, exhausted, have so much pain on my body and I am unable to do anything. This is due to depression. Could you please donate to my however much money you would be willing to donate and assist me to pass my current crises. Your support would mean so much to me and would change my life. A few years ago, I was a few thousand dollars in debt but it was a more manageable debt then, but a family friend got us into a pyramid scheme. Having been inexperienced and her having a business degree and owned a business herself, I trusted her and went along. I ended up maxing out my credit cards and my line of credit due to this scam/motivational organisation/juice company, and being pressured to stay in to "become successful". For the past 2 years I organised a tight budget, and have been steadily paying down the principle of my debt each month (with the exception of a month here and there). Problem is, I'm on disability income assistance and my husband works only part time, and have 2 children. The amount of time which will take me to pay it down to a reasonable amount will still in the long run cost me more thousands of dollars. I don't buy alcohol or cigarettes, makeup, jewellery, new clothing, or any extra luxury like that. I'm at my wit's end. I just need a boost to get my debt down and hopefully cut down the interest a bit as well.

Hi...We have never done this before and thought we would give this a try. My husband works for a school district and isnt on salary like teachers. So when the kids are out of school he is off work,which shortens the paycheck every month. I have my own cleaning business and have lost 4 clients since October and we are sinking farther and farther each day. I have been cut off from further help by the church and friends are tired of helping. I was laid off over 2 years ago and have been unable to find a job even though I have filled out many applications. I never hear back from anyone. I just turned 60 so am too young to retire. I am not eligable for unemployment pay and have no savings left. I am going to try and start my own one woman cleaning/yard work business in january but need help until I get it going. Hello, I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan. I was laid off my job here and I still have many expenses such as rent, books next semester, and my tuition bills to consider. I could really use some help until I find a replacement job.

Due to my family's financial situation, I did receive quite a bit of help from FAFSA, but it failed to cover around $6,000 of my costs this year. In addition to this, rent on campus is outrageous. I am forced to pay $800 a month to live in a rinky-dink apartment that smells like dying cats and usually floods from the sewage tank every other month. I just need a little boost for a month until I can get up on my feet again.

Unfortunately, 86% of the strays we've helped save are emaciated- they require vet care (which is very costly), special high quality diet, vitamins and supplements to boost their immune system, and so much more!

All volunteers are unpaid and contribute their own money to our rescue's operation. Since we fund all of our expenses ourselves we often require donations from the public to help us out. As always, 100% of the donations go towards the benefit of the animals in our care.

We gladly accept all new, gently used, canine, and feline supplies, as well as monetary donations- which can be sent by PayPal.

We will be homeless August 31, 2011. There are 2 adults, including myself. We have a 12 year old special needs son which makes it difficult to get full time employment or any employment.

My husband has cancer and has a difficult time with every day living. And does not qualify for disability nor does our son qualify for Social Security. We don't qualify for TANF either only foodstamps.

We are flat broke, the last bit of our money, which was going to go for the rent and utilities was stolen.
If anyone could help us we would appreciate it. We both want to work but can't find work.

Please help us before we are out in the street. How do you tell a child who has Aspergers Syndrome he doesn't have a home any longer? It just breaks my heart this is our last few days here unless we get help with our rent and utilities.

We tried all the charities and churches, they are all out of funds right now.

Another sad update: my husband and son drove 600 miles to FL on Thursday and it was dreadful, the car was packed to the max. We have a small car it it was totally over loaded. What else was he to do? Our son has Aspergers, the only way he can survive a crisis such as this is is some sense of normalcy, meaning he needs his things, things that mean a lot to him even if they seem trivial to use they are not to him. So we loaded up the car with books, games, dvds, what have you.
Well, they get to my husband's mother's house in South FLA and instead of a loving welcome they get the worst from her. She is all over my husband and calling him all kinds of terrible things. She's down on her grandson, all over him. These 2 came 600 miles away and this is the welcome they got. Needless to say they are leaving FLA and returning to GA. Out of shear desperation. We will have to go into a shelter. We have no where to go. Noone has donated a dime to us. Just advice. Advice is nice but it doesn't pay the rent or utilities.

Does anyone even read these posts besides us who post them? I would love to hear from success stories that came from here. It would be a huge confidence boost. Rescent success stories within the last 6 months to a year.

My faith in God has increased within me, however my faith in humanity is failing.

We are no different than most of those also posting on here. Our needs are no more in demand. We all have a common bound, we are desperatly trying to keep our families together, through this crisis that seems to keep getting worse.

My cell phone is a pay-as-you-go, I only pay 25.00 a month for 300 mins, unlimited texting & net usage. 25.00 is an awesome deal if you have 25.00. I don't have it. So now I can't even talk with my husband to find out when he's coming to ATL (my service will be over September 7) or even post on here or check my paypal if some kind soul donated anything. We didn't really have it last month but we figured it was worth it, especially since we haven't had a pc for years. This is our only link to the internet - this and the library.
Some would say a cell phone is a luxury, not if you don't have a landline, we haven't had a landline in 2 years. Its become an absolute nessisity.

We don't smoke or drink, take illegal drugs or spend money on frivilous things. My clothes are beging to get shabby as are my shoes.

If anyone can donate a cell phone card of 25.00 it would be most welcome. I feel terrible asking but its my only link to my family in FL. Without it I have no phone. Forget the net I can live without it but not to be able to call my husband is terrible. its scary not having a phone.

My husband has a Safelink cell phone - a Welfare pay-as-you-go they only allow one per house hold. He gets a set amount of mins for free a month, you can chose to roll over your mins too on some of their plans. So mine is the only paid cell phone.
