Posted by mjc102853 on 2012-05-14 14:58:40

Please help me I am in a really bad spot. In 2006 husband died..we owned an internet cafe. In 2007 I closed cafe & started looking for another IT job...no luck even for data entry or help desk (still looking but am told I don't have current skills & no money to get update/education). Tried to sell off all store stock & in 2009 Ebay/Craig's list sales became slim. Cashed in bonds/savings acts/401k/stocks to make ends meet. Eventually in 2010 no more corners to take from & part-time jobs just not meeting all obligations. Now son-in-law in AZ has health problems & daughter+2 grandaughters need help desperately. He had gall bladder removed a year ago & he is one of a few that cannot easily live without it...having really tough time with digestion & weight loss. No time to sell everything. WILL DONATE ALL NON-PERSONAL ITEMS TO CHARITY(s) OF YOUR CHOICE. ONLY WANT TO KEEP LIVING ROOM FURNITURE, 2 DRESSERS, CARD/TRAY TABLES & PERSONAL CLOTHES/KITCHEN/FAMILY ITEMS & COMPUTER. Hi there generous people,

My wife and I are young we had a child and got married at 21. Our daughter is now three. Things were seemingly going well untill last year when my wife had to have emergency gall bladder surgery and from there things have spirled out of control. My daughter has been in and out of the hospital and doctor with stomach issues and now i tore 4 ligiments in my ankle. We arnt asking to help pay the medical bills those we can probably handle. We are looking for 10000 to replenish our savings so we can get back in the process of buying a home again. We both dont have credit cards and are pretty financially saavy but we are at our wits in. With me in school and an internship and also working and her working and taking care of the little one we are stretched so thin we are using this as a last resort. Thank you for your generoisty in advance it is greatly appreciated and goes along way.

THANK YOU ALL

I am a single mother and just underwent a hysterectomy and gall bladder surgery. I returned to work within 5 days of the procedure. I couldn't afford to be off work in the first place. Well, It was a mistake. I ended up tearing my bladder, and getting an infection. We live on a very tight budget, and each paycheck is allocated to a specific bill. When I lost 4 paychecks, everything has fallen behind. I need help to catch up my bills please. I don’t wanna lose everything or force my son to stay somewhere else because I can't afford us. Please does anyone have any extra to apply to my bills?

Please help me LIVE a little bit longer.

Thank You so very much for your help. Heres my story. I am in my early 30s. I am a mother of two loving kids ages 4 and 9. My husband moved out a year ago after a bout of depression, stating "I love you thats why I cant stand to stay here n watch you die like this!" And it is true anyone who has watched a loved one waste away before thier eyes can tell you it eats your soul. In a way I cant blame him. I have hopes we will someday get our family back together. Untill then I am in this alone, and now find my self here asking you for help.
I have several cronic illnesses. Including scoliosis:Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. While scoliosis can be caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, the cause of most scoliosis is unknown. My scoliosis curve got worse, the spine rotated and twisted, in addition to curving side to side. This caused the ribs on one side of the body to stick out farther than on the other side. Severe scoliosis can caused back pain and difficulty breathing. In my case In severe scoliosis, the rib cage may press against the lungs and heart, making it more difficult to breathe and harder for the heart to pump.I also experience harsh neurological affects of Muscle weakness, Numbness and Abnormal reflexes. To save my life I had to have surgery.
Surgery involves correcting the curve (although not all the way) and fusing the bones in the curve together. The surgeon lays bone grafts across the exposed surface of each vertebra. These grafts will regenerate, grow into the bone, and fuse the vertebrae together. The bones are held in place with one or two metal rods held down with hooks and screws, helping to support the fusion of the vertebrae.I went through all this at age 13. But now with the onset of sevral more cronic illness complication from the surgery that once saved my life now slowly kill me.
Years later I began getting sicker and sicker by the time I was 20 my spine was degenerating causing horrible pain, I had to have my appendix removed, then gallblader went bad. We never dreamed these all had a common factor. Doctors just shook their head proclaiming :you are just so young for your body to be failing like this". Eventually it was discovered I have Lupus and severe arthritus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease, meaning that the body' s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy organs and tissue. Lupus can affect any part of the body, causing inflammation and damage in joints, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs, blood vessels, or the brain. More than 90% of people with lupus have skin rashes, often triggered by exposure to the sun, and about half have kidney and lung problems. Because lupus affects the joints, it is considered a rheumatic (arthritis) disease.
Upon this discovery things began to make sense. So doctors now knowing why began a body wide check up to see what all has been affected. One test was A bone mineral density (BMD) test measures how much calcium and other types of minerals are present in a section of your bone. Your health care provider uses this test, along with other risk factors, to predict your risk of bone fractures in the future and detect osteoporosis. Bone fracture risk is highest in people with osteoporosis. They found I indeed had osteoporosis at the age of 22. SO now My bones are weaking causing damage areas all over my body, but the most serious being in my spine. Now comes the arthritis/lupus, they see these damaged areas and my own imune system attacks. Eating at the damaged areas creating even more damage, which increases the area the lupus attacks. It is a vicious circle. I have now been treated with medication over 10 yrs. But they can only slow the illness there is no cure, and dure to my scoliosis and the metal rods in my back surgical treatment options are very limited.
The damage is so severe I was decared legally disabled by the age of 23. My only income is SSI. I have to support my children and I on 658.00 a month. Thank God the court issued my ex to pay my rent in lue of child support. I am asking for help to cover upcoming medical bills. In the last 14 months I have had 5 seperate kidney surgery. My right kidney is damaged and I will soon be having a 6th surgery. This one to remove damaged section of the tube that leads from the kidney to bladder. then they will reattach at a higher section of bladder. I will aslo be having several Jaw surgeries. Due to exposure to radiation, osteoperosis a excessive vomiting of stomache acid my teeth are breaking and falling out. The doctor needs to repair what they can and put in inplants for what they cant. This will slow the degineration of my jaw. Without this treatment my jaw is going to cave in. Currently I am only able to eat mushy foods. I have drastically lost weight and my body is stuggling to heal due to the stress, pain and infection. So I hunbly beg of you to help me 1.00 or 50.00 anything would help. These procedures will not only improve my quality of life but aslo help extend my time here on earth just a little ehile longer. I just want to be with my kids as long as I can.Whith each dollar you donate its like adding an hour to my life.....What would you give for a few more hours with the ones you love?

Please help me LIVE a little bit longer.

medical bills

Posted by SandraM30 on 2012-04-02 16:58:45

Hi, my name is Sandra and I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease in December. I have IC of the bladder and have to get weekly treatments.I have had three surgeries the last year and the medical bills are adding up and I can't pay them, but if I can't pay then I can't get the treatments I need once a week. I live in pain everyday, but the treatments do help. They compare my pain to cancer. So,some relief I get helps a lot. I have never had to beg of borrow money before. I have tried loans and other things, but can not get approved. I could use any help I can get. So,far my bills are over $6000.

thanks for taking the time to read this.

SAVE MY DOG!

Posted by SeanArc on 2012-03-29 08:58:39

Hi everyone! My name is Sean Arcand and I am 11 years old. My very bestest friend Maya is our family Golden Retriever mix and she just came back from the vet yesterday.

My mom says Maya needs surgery and her bladder is not working right. I asked my mom if Maya will have her surgery soon but Mom told me she doesn't have the money to pay for the bills.

I cried last night. All night because I knew I wouldn't see Maya for long.

Then Maya came into my room and nuzzled my tummy. I love her so much. But I know without help I will lose her.

This morning Mom told me that if I could find a way to pay for the bills then she will take Maya to the vet for a trantsplant.

The cost is $5105.

I am asking anyone out there from the bottom of my little heart to help Maya. She is the greatest friend I could ever have. When I was sick with the chicken pox she was sleeping in my bed all night and all morning looking over me.

If you have donated anything I am thanking you with all my soul for your genarosety. Thank you thank you thank you and god bless you for helping me save my bestest friend.

Hello, after battling with my medical discharge on the 9th June 2011, I found myself unemployed and struggling to adjust in 'Civvie' street, although I found it hard I just couldn't cope with the bills and ended up putting my wife and 4 young children in jepody, I am a proud man and have since found a job, but the debts continued to mount up and we found out a little while ago that the landlord wants to take the house back to do it up and sell. on top of this my georgeous and loving wife has had a major operation on her bladder and a hysterectomy, and as a result I have to take a cut in hours worked, We have a good church community that have provided us with 'meals on wheels' please help us by donating a little just so I can help us get out of this rut, I am working and am trying to get out of this, but please feel free to donate.

I want to Treat My Mum.

Posted by MissyM on 2012-01-25 08:58:41

My Mum has been receiving Treatment for Bladder Cancer for over 10 years.Approximately 5 years ago it came back with a vengeance and spread to one of her kidneys. My mum had to have it removed and was in hospital for 10 days.Due to all the chemotherapy my mum has received over the years, her bladder is weak. She has not had a decent nights sleep for years as she has to keep going to the Toilet through out the night.

My mum never complains about the pain,Always puts others before her own needs. She is always rushing about trying to help anyone who needs her help.

I would like to treat my mum to the biggest bunch of flowers anyone can make up for her.She loves Roses and Carnations. She used to love Gardening but has had to give this up due to her illness.I do try to help her as much as I can.
I am struggling to find the money to pay for the flowers because I am on a very limited Income.I have 3 children and only work part time.I have been raising them myself as Their father passed away 3 years ago.

Any help would be very much appreciated.I Do not expect Much, even if it is 50 pence. It would be very much appreciated and If I raise enough then the first thing I am going to do is go to the Florist and get them to make her a beautiful bunch of flowers.
It is my way of saying Thank you for all she has done for me and the Grandchildren because she really is a Wonderful Mother.

I am 38 yr old mother of 3 married for 17 yrs. Been with spouse 19 yrs total. Spouse is an alcoholic. I'm a disabled high school drop out with a GED. This past year spouse destroyed our marriage yet I'm stuck in this hell with no way out. I can't get disability or SSI. I have no income, savings or any way to support my kids. When I told spouse I wanted a divorce he was going to walk away & leave me with no way to pay the rent or utilities. Can't afford an attorney can't afford anything to be honest. I depend upon him for income. My list of health problems began at age 17 & have continued to compile since. Can not be treated for my medical conditions due to my hypersensitivity to prescription medications & allergies to opiates & codeine. My existence is utterly miserable!! I need a way out of this hell. Everyone deserves to be happy even me. I have to provide stability to my children so I live a lie day to day pretending to be his partner friend & lover. Honestly it is enough to make one have no desire to live. I am trapped in hell with 3 kids. I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome, herniated T11-12, chronic tendinitis of the groin, eczema. I have very bad allergies with frequent allergic reactions to things in my environment and have no idea what they are. I will be allergy tested next week. The week after I start testing for lupus & kidney disease if nothing is found on scope test of my bladder. I stay sick get many things at one time & it takes me much longer to recover than normal people. There has to be a way out of this with some dignity. I was told by an SSI rep that I am one of those people that just falls through the cracks. There has to be hope for us down here for Christ sake there has to be

Medical Emergency - Bills - out of control

Posted by Medicalurgent on 2011-11-18 21:58:18

Medical bills are topping $60,000.00. I am negotiating with the hospital, Dr.'s, Surgens, etc.

I am unemployed, with no insurance. Have never been sick and suddenly had a Gall Bladder attack. I have already exhausted my savings. I am not looking for a free ride, but need some serious help.

We already lost our home and jobs to the economy and are living in our camper. We travel looking for work in parks, or during municipal events (directing traffic, trash pick up, etc.) We have been getting by up to this point, however, this is a real set back.

Please dig deep into your heart and help a Vet that has worked hard for the past 30 years.

I don't know how to do this properly, but I will be honest.

My husband's teeth are really bad, he had his jaw broken 10 years ago and has since lost all of his top teeth and his bottoms are all broken. He has an infection in his jaw that could go to his heart but we can't afford to get his bottom teeth pulled. He is currently 20+ lbs underweight and malnourished. He also has a mass in his bladder that we can't afford to have biopsied, even though he has a referral.

We have no income because he is unable to work and I am disabled but still fighting Social Security for any assistance, with little success.

Neither of us use drugs or alcohol, though we do have a few friends that will smoke marijuana with us occasionally.

I try to donate plasma as often as I am able, but I have to go on days that my disability isn't apparent to them, so they don't ban me, as I, technically, can't afford the loss of white blood cells.

We have sold everything of value in our home and at this point we will be losing electric and internet on Wed, Sept 14th, 2011. My daughter is 18 but can't get a job due to the fact that we cannot afford the $10 to get a copy of her original birth certificate, so she cannot get an i.d.

We have no vehicle and take a rolling suitcase to the grocery when our foodstamps come, but due to bus fare, this is becoming increasingly difficult.

There are a lot of things that I, personally, need and go without, but I am genuinely most concerned with my husband and I growing old together, which won't happen if his health continues to decline. He is 39, I am 36, we have been together 16 years.

I don't know if this rant will do any good, but for the love of all that is holy, I hope someone, somewhere, sees it and feels compelled to investigate the reality of our situation.

Most sincerely,
Lori, Nick, and Brit

Funeral Donations

My mother,Delores Chavez, was diagnosed with bladder cancer in January 2011. It was a late stage diagnosis which she lost the battle on August 30th 2011. This is a very difficult time for us, not only are we grieved with loss of our wonderful mom but it's harder to lay her to rest due to our financial difficulties. Thru the process of her illness we the family thought the insurance payments were being deducted directly from mom's account but it was not. We lost our baby brother 3 yrs ago and he also had no insurance to cover cost of his burial and mom had not recovered mentally from that loss. This is what caused mom more illness and forgetfulness of insurance payments. Our family is having serious financial problems and no insurance. Many times death is a sudden event and we are certaintly experiencing suffering thru this. If anyone with a kind heart would like to make monetary donations to help bury my mom it can be sent to the White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave.,Burnsville,MN. 55337.

Thank you and God Bless
The Chavez Family

You make lemonade right? Well frankly, I'm tired of lemonade. My entire life has been a struggle. I grew up in a low income family. My mother has suffered with her health since before I can remember, and my father worked so hard to make sure that my siblings and I had what we needed...and occasionally what we really wanted. It really taught me the value of a buck earned. I thought I could escape tragedy by moving far away... but I fell in love and married a man who's family has just as many health problems as mine does. My father in law has undergone 5 bypasses, he has a stoma, he had his gall bladder and appendix removed, he has had bowel cancer and to top that kidney stones. My mother in law is a 60 year old who works in retail... trying so hard to make ends meet. I feel so horrible watching this little woman hauling boxes to and fro. My father in law is most likely on his last couple of lives and I really want her to be home, with him. I would give her the shirt of my back if I could. Sitting inside an empty apartment - because i sold everything of any value - with the one thing that keeps me connected (my ancient laptop), and all I can do is wonder if someone wants this crappy thing for a buck or two. If I could afford college I would go... but being a part of the majority... I'm stuck in a dead-end minimum wage job. So I guess you're wondering why my husband and I can barely survive on 2 incomes right? Well, it's possible that two minimum wage jobs equal debt none the less.

I'm not asking for thousands of dollars, because frankly... I know that there are more people in my position than there are people who would probably even run across this posting. But I will never loose hope that someday I will find myself in a better position... the kind of position that will allow me to help others.... someday.

Feel free to donate -- and if you find yourself in my position -- God Bless You, never give up faith!

We are in need of 3 thousand to dollars to catch up on our mortgage. If we can catch up we can pay our mortgage. Our credit is bad cannot get a loan. My husband has been out of work and is on disability. I am the only one working and I have been sick lately and may have bladder Cancer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Need Help Paying for Medical Equipment

I am writing on behalf of my mother, she is a 62 year old woman who worked hard all of her life with the belief that her government would be there to help her when she was in need.

That hasn't turned out to be the case. She is in desperate need of a prosthetic leg, she has been essentially cut off and told that she can't have a replacement leg or shoes because "it's too expensive". Her health has been failing over the years (she now has to have a cathether because her bladder has stopped working). She has very poor vision, can no longer drive and poor hearing and can't afford the cost of a $3,000 hearing aid. Other than myself (I am not able to afford these things for her), she has no family to help her and she wants so much to see her young granddaughter grow up.

She receives minimal disability and all she would like is to have the things she needs to survive.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Life is Crumbling

I lost my job 7 months ago. I need blood pressure, anti-depressants and bladder medicine. I'm losing insurance because I can't pay for it anymore. I have applied for 65 jobs in the last 30 days. I don't know where to turn. I need 160,000.00 to keep my home and money to pay for my medicine. If I can keep a roof over my head and maintain my health I can keep trying. If I don't get some help I will die. I'm not strong enough to live on the street and without medicine. When I get back on my feet, I promise to make as generous of a donation as I can every week for the rest of my life to someone like me who had to humble themselves to beg for help. GOD BLESS
