CANNOT COUNT ON FAMILY
Posted by jasond on 2012-05-22 15:58:53
I work full time and also do side jobs on weekends to make ends meet, my wife has been out of work on disability (she will return full time in the next 3 weeks) due to the birth of our son, which should be the happiest time of our life, and yet I get to go home and see my children upset wondering why there uncle is acting the way he is, I get to see my wife cry over the fact that we have been basically reminded that even though we pay the bill and we fix this home and have made it what it never was for me growing up an actual home, that it is not ours and we should have no say over what happens.
My brother who at one time made hundreds of thousands of dollars a year an selfish heartless drug addict, who even though has never treated me or my family with any respect I have always dropped what I am doing regardless of time or place to go âÂÂsave himâÂÂ, and by save usually picking his drug addict ass up and making sure he gets home, or dropping what IâÂÂm doing to take him to the hospital cause he is so sick from whatever he has taken this time. Now that brother has decided to move in with us, not ask, not offer to help, but blatantly tell me and my wife, âÂÂitâÂÂs not your house , I am not asking permission to stay hereâÂÂ, and my parents who told me this home was a âÂÂWedding giftâ seem to agree. They feel itâÂÂs okay for a drug addict to be living among children, that itâÂÂs okay that slowly one by one pieces of my wifeâÂÂs jewelry are disappearing, or that since he came has literally taken over my infant sons nursery with his disgusting belongings that I found my wife sitting on the floor of the living room trying to feed the baby because heâÂÂs asleep on the sofa passed out cold and his belonging are strewn all over the house.
My only options are to buy this home that I and my wife have built a great life in so I can say who stays and goes, or to uproot my children and move as far from these selfish disgusting people as possible.
In order to purchase this home I would need a deposit upwards of 12000 which due to me draining my accounts my sons accounts and my wifeâÂÂs to âÂÂsaveâ my brother from jail, drug dealers, etc., we have nothing left. Which has led me here, led me to the point where I feel more dependent on asking strangers for help than my own family because they canâÂÂt even help themselves? I am the little brother (youngest of four) who has always had to be the big brother, I am the one one whose entire family drops there problems in my lap as if to say deal with it. I have been the pillar supporting every single family member I have for the last 28 years, the pillar has finally cracked and canâÂÂt hold up the weight of the world anymore. I am begging on my hands and knees for help from completer strangers so I can continue to give my children the life I never had, and offer them some stability instead of having to tear them from the home they have come to love, that my wife has come to love, that I love. I want to give my children the world but my family continues to assure that wonâÂÂt happen under there watch. Please I beg of you with everything I am I need help. Please donâÂÂt make us just another statistic, I found my calling and made a life for my wife and children, I have put aside pride, because they are all that matters to me. Thank You for taking the time to read this and thank you for any support or help you can provide.

I've been making payments up till now, I'm not currently working although I'm deligiantley looking. I have not make my payment of 165.00 per mth for april and may and now june is approaching quickly. I really need my furniture when things pull together for us, and losing them for 500.00 dollars hurts deeply. If there is anyone who can make this payment for me the storage company is cypress self storage acct. 4153, their number is 239 287-2566. they accept pymnt by phone as well. I thank you in advance

If you could kindly help me I would be forever grateful...
Posted by eternally_grateful on 2012-04-25 04:58:44
Things are really dire lately and I would love to be able to support myself where my own hard work = the business hopefully does well. My short term goal is to open a small jewellery stand. I have researched suppliers and am close to choosing a suitable one or two. My total start up costs are around the figure of £3200 and I currently have £900. I would be amazed if anyone kindly donated any some of money to me it would show there are some amazing people left in the world. I would be genuinely grateful for any amount from 1p its your hard earned money so thank you! I am absolutely not trying to fund the whole project from this and will continue to work as hard as I can to save however at the rate I'm going with all my rent and bills its going to take a looooong time.
My future goals are to work very hard to build the business so hopefully one day it will not only be able to support me fully but I would love to become a small employer. With so few jobs around, I realise its a drop in the ocean but every little helps as they say. I can truly promise that if I am lucky enough to do well in my new business and have more money than bills I will absolutely help others, both in time and money.
To anyone who has or will contribute to anyone at all on this site or other charity sites you are truly an amazing person and you give me faith in the good people left in the world.

Young and no money for food or rent

Me and my boyfriend are both 21 years old. We just recently moved out to colorado together to pursue our lives. We arrived with a set amount of money and had a specific plan to buy a car and get into a house, but things turned upside down. We have been forced to spend what little money we have in a motel 6 with our whole life in suite cases. We have been here for almost a month now and we have no more money to give to them. We have been living day to day for the and struggling to eat. We are very scared and see no other outcome but to be forced out on the streets. We have looked for jobs but it could be weeks before either one of us can get paid. We have pawned most of the belongings we arrived with and have been left with only our clothes. We have searched and searched for someone with an available room but it's hard for a couple, a gay couple at that, to find an opportunity, much less a safe opportunity. We had a life and we are both living examples of how your life can be turned upside down in no time at all. We have no family to help out and we are in a new area that we are not familiar with at all. We don't know what to do and are beginning to think that our future, no matter how much of a drastic change and shock, lies in the streets starving for food. We only need enough to get us into a safe and steady home. We are both very kind people and have helped others as much as we can. Now we hope that we can receive the same kindness from others in our time of need. Please help us if you can and we will accept anything you can give, we can use every penny offered.
Thank you very much for your time, interest, and donations.

If Only I Saw It Coming!!
Posted by Ashamaaus on 2012-03-29 22:58:53
I am a single mother who's been truly blessed with 4, beautiful, healthy children; 3 biological & a foster son that joined our family when he was 12â¦..he is now 23. My kids are the reason I continue to battle through what has been the most challenging, darkest phase of my 50 years on this Earth.
In the summer of 2011, life, as my family knew it, was forever changed. My son got off the school bus & proceeded to enter a crime scene upon opening the front door of the house we call home. It was immediately clear that we were victims of a daytime home invasion and robbery. A trail of splinters led straight to my bedroom door, which had been demolished in the process of gaining entrance & access to my personal belongings. Robbers took my box of trash bags & proceeded to fill them with anything that could be sold or traded. I came home to find that they had stolen everything of value that I had worked for in my 50 years of existence & everything of value that my kids cherished as well.
It didn't happen often, but on the occasion that I had a few extra dollars to spend on myself, I found pleasure in buying nice jewelry. Through the years, I had managed to accumulate a nice collection. Also, as a child, my father & I shared an interest in coin collecting. I had managed to hold on to several interesting coins my dad & I found. Weekly, he also, gave me & my brothers our allowance of a fifty cent piece each. I had somehow managed to hold on to many of these as well. I stored my coin collection in the bottom portion of my large armoire. This area is what my family referred to as "the safe." Anything of value, particularly sentimental, was given to me to be protected in the safe. A couple good examples are my, then, 10 year old son's game ball for hitting the Championship game winning grand slam home run & my daughter's horse riding medals, show jewelry & accessories, as well as a silver handled knife & sheathâ¦â¦.the only personal possession my foster son owned from his childhood. I carry a tremendous amount of guilt for not doing a better job of safe guarding my family's precious & dear possessions.
In addition to the lingering guilt, the robbery also resulted in life altering psychological effects to me & my family. I continue to wonder if & when I will ever fully recover & be the secure, self confident person I was before the robbery. Immediately following the break-in, I was consumed by finding out who was responsible & ways of obtaining this informationâ¦..I could think of nothing else. After several weeks of frantic guessing & running wild goose chases, I started to realize that regaining possession of my property was less likely as each day went by. I could feel myself falling into a dark, lonely place with deep despairâ¦..& unfortunately, I was content to be there. For the next several months, I could not work, did not eat or sleep & rarely came out of my bedroom. There was a film in my head that ran & reran the events leading up to & immediately following the robberyâ¦..filled with the "I should've"s, "I could've"s and "what ifs." I am plagued with distrust & no longer find interest in much of anything. I was robbed of far more than just pieces of propertyâ¦..they stole my trust in mankind, my desire to thrive, my faith in the world & my sanity.
I have worked as a medical school curriculum manager for 21 years. As a result of my mental decline, I was unable to work for over three months which, consequentially, made it difficult to pay all of the bills. I managed to rob Peter to pay Paul for several months & kept up with everything except for my house payment. It is now in arrears nearly $5,000.00 & I am out of resources. For the first time in my life, I am facing foreclosure. It is embarrassing & humiliating & I don't know how to tell my kids that they are likely to have no place to call home in the very near future. I feel like such a failure! Even though I've been an exemplary employee for many years, as a consequence of the self doubting & tremendous stress, I am now faced with the strong potential of losing my job due to my inability to focus & my lack of desire to face each day, As if this wasn't enough for one person to handle, I am also witnessing the daily decline of my father & my hero due to end stage Parkinson's & Alzheimer's.
I'm not sure how this begging website works but if there is someone out there that is willing to make me a loan & work out a payment arrangement, I promise not to let you down.....you will be repaid! I am working hard to battle the persisting PTSD symptoms that continue to plague me. I just worry that facing homelessness may be more than I can handle. Lord, I hand it over to You coz I come to You a broken, wounded angel. I thank you for any consideration and appreciate all prayers. May God bless you many times & in many ways for your generosity & kindness!

2 scared kids

Me and my boyfriend are both 21 years old. We just recently moved out to colorado together to pursue our lives. We arrived with a set amount of money and had a specific plan to buy a car and get into a house. We have been waiting on our tax refunds to come in but they have been late for about 2 weeks now and the IRS has informed us that we will not see anything for at least 60 days. We have been forced to spend what little money we have in a motel 6 with our whole life in suite cases. We have been here for almost a month now and we have no more money to give to them. We have been living day to day for the past week and struggling to eat. Safety deposit and first months rent along with bills. One month and we can both be back on our feet. We just need some help. We are both very kind people and have helped others as much as we can. Now we hope that we can receive the same kindness from others in our time of need. Please help us if you can and we will accept anything you can give, we can use every penny offered.
Thank you very much for your time, interest, and donations.

Need help getting over the hump...
Posted by OrgPh on 2012-03-08 21:58:09
Stated Goal: $2,000.00 (by March 21st, 2012) for tuition, books and some new pants to get my academic career going... Breakdown of $1,288.33 for tuition/fees, approximately $400.00 in textbooks/supplies for the quarter, and the remainder for some pants and necessary travel expenditures for the first month of school.
I know you have many options with where your hard-earned money goes - some may make you feel GREAT about shedding a few pounds in the wallet, and others will leave you feeling downright dirty. I know this, because I was once in your shoes; money in my wallet, left only to my vices as to where to spend it. I never felt right about just handing it over to someone who, in my opinion, would merely go drink it away, drug it away, etc. It's funny how life throws these things all back into your face sometimes, and as such I find myself in need and hoping that the right person(s) will have the faith to invest in me - that's right, I said INVEST.
I don't believe in a handout, but I DO believe that sometimes we fall a bit harder than we are prepared to do and as such are put into situations that we neither expected nor are comfortable with. I opened a business that was going rather well for its first 7 months of operation. Then, through an anonymous post from someone online that "appeared" to be from my company, me and my business partner got black-balled from the industry (VERY political/bureaucratic in that particular industry). When this went under, though, it took me and everything I own with it - my vehicle, my home and much of my personal belongings. Prior to that, I spent 11 years on active duty military status in order to protect and serve this country. Yes, I've earned the G.I. Bill and fully intend to use it for its designed purpose. TheMy defining issue, however, is that the Bill pays for school on a month-to-month basis, at the END of each month of training. For example, my school begins this April 2nd so I cannot claim my benefits until the end of April, which will cause my first G.I. bill payment to get sent out in early May. The school, however, requires payment up-front and as explained above, I currently do not have the capital to get started. Once I've started, the Bill will sustain me, therefore I merely ask for assistance in getting the first quarter of classes paid, including books. I have a great academic history, and this is truly where I excel. My purpose is to some day acquire a PhD in pharmaceutics and do research to find new and improved medications for the benefit of the masses.
As for the pants, I have two pairs remaining and both have holes in the legs and crotch. While these DO technically work for all intents and purposes, it gets a bit breezy on these cold days and nights, and is probably unsightly (at best) to any of my would-be professors who may not appreciate an instructor's-eye-view of these things. As such, I figure I might like to buy a couple of pairs prior to matriculation.
Thank you, in advance, to any and all who assist me on this endeavor.
