Post a Beg Now!

Our Home is slipping away... Please HELP now!

Posted by buyahome on 2012-05-17 13:58:58

Just $10-$20 from YOU, could help us make a dream come true, and possibly others on Begslist.com as well!!
As the housing bubble collapsed, my family and I could see the coming recession and its fall out coming. While my wife has a steady and secure job, and I ran a successful public relation business, we could not chance getting caught in the down pour of bad lending and foreclosure we saw coming. That was our last smart move.
As the recession, I might argue depression spread across the country and our town equally, like so many others, we found ourselves affected in ways we didn't see coming. My business began to fail, losing client after client to hard economic times, until those few clients who were left were asking for reduced costs, some even asking to keep services coming though they can not pay at this point. I have tried to oblige. I continue to serve many clients in trying to promote their products and services "pro-bono" so they can eek out a living in these times.
My wife has been great through all this. She works a steady "day job" to barely meet our monthly rent and bills.
We have tapped every credit card, and can't pay their monthly bills and fees. We have ruined our credit, believing if we could hold back the storm, and continue to help those we serve, we would be alright on the other end.
NOW, as home prices are finally in reach, we find that we can no longer qualify for the loan that would get us, and our five sons into a new home. With home costs once nearing and surpassing $200K, we can now buy the perfect home for $50K. That's what we're asking for now: $50K!! Banks, once far too anxious to give loans for over-priced homes to people who could not afford them, now turn us away for a much more reasonable loan that would actually lower our monthly expenses by almost 1/2. We now watch as wealthy investors snatch up the homes once financed by real families and foreclosed on. But in the time it takes to rebuild the credit we need to get financed, these moguls will have all of the properties and be renting them out to all of us who could not hope to own under these terms.
So we turn to YOU! A generous stranger, who can help make our dream come true. YOU can donate a small portion of this expense, and help us to make this dream come true. We are setting a goal of $50K, and hoping to beat the tide of greedy investors from owning what could be our new home. As we get closer to our goal we will use some of the thoughtful contributions we receive to repair the credit we have forfieted, so we might get the funding we need on our own through a bank. IF this happens, and we exceed donations needed, then we will donate the remaining funds to others on Begslist.com, including to the Begslist.com creator to continue to help neighbors help neighbors ... because we all need help sometimes!

Offer Withdrawn

I can't delete any comments I left in response to some people begs, so I'm making a general post. I am no longer offering to pay for referrals on begslist. I don't know if any of you have read my beg but I'm a serious person when it comes to getting money because I need it. My situation does not give me the luxury to pick and choose how I get it.That is the reason I offered the deal that I did. quite a few people have signed up and done nothing. I do understand hat this is begslist but how can you seriously expect people to help you if you don't help yourself. Since I have posted here I received 3 false claims of help all turned out to be scams. So I wish you all many blessings but it is void except that individual that express interest yesterday and to the woman who wanted to participate a couple days ago. the door is always open to you. The only reason I would leave my beg posted on here is because I still have a little faith left that people other than scammers are reading the begs.

Help me fly my girlfriend to Florida (to live)

Posted by Jedi on 2012-05-04 07:58:01

I'm from Mississippi, went to Oklahoma last year to see my mum, sistera, uncle.. started helping out an old friend/employer & one evening while fixing the boss' dad's computer for free, met a girl, love at first sight. Then, my parents got me to come back to MS to try out a job. I got the job, very enjoyable, $10/hr, but couldn't forget the girl, she was going crazy thinking I was ignoring her online, I was working & didn't check my messages frequently enough. So I missed her, she missed me.. I came back to OK the day after my birthday & we started our relationship. Everything was perfect. Then, she started losing it, getting stressed for no apparent reason. It turned out the boss had been feeding her meth.(this was oklahoma, after all) so we move out to be happy together, all december we just spent the money I had accumulated working in MS, then stayed in bed together until about New Years, when the boss came around.. we went to casino with her and started working for the ol' boss again, because my job search attempts during December had been fruitless without a vehicle or $ for transportation. So, living with the boss again, problems/drama came back around, my girlfriend would occasionally disappear for 3 days with no communication. I would worry about her, couldn't sleep, worrying/wondering.. we took off to Kansas to get away from the meth-heads. left everything behind, just took a few clothes & ewch other. Everything was perfect.. then my girlfriends aunt started feeding her lies and meth. Effin' meth. girls really get hooked on the stuff. so my first Valentines day was ruined because my girlfriends aunt fed her drugs and lies (i must be a cop because i wont smoke meth with them) and made her think she hates me. She also broke my phone in half and physically assaulted me, but I don't hit females, no matter how obnoxious.. I went back to Oklahoma to work with the boss. this was okay for awhile, but being depressed and lonely, having nothing else to livs for, i stuck with it, no matter how stressful. I was working(for weak pay, but i had free use of vehicles and a place to stay, this was Meth City, Oklahoma, after all - I was the only licensed, insured driver & trustworthy worker they had. I was hoping to accumulate enough funds to take a trip to KS and rescue her from corruption, or at least get her an android to keep in touch, but that never happens when the boss pays you then borrows it back. eventually, the boss' husband went crazy, thought everybody was supplying his wife drugs, or having sex with her, neither of which was I doing, but he kicked everyone out except his nephew, which turned out to be who the one who had sexted his wife from my phone. They were having a relationship, aunt & nephew, which disgusts me.. Anyway, I w(as kicked out as well, my grandparents wanted me to come to Florida to help, meanwhile, my ex comes back from KS with a boyfriend, i get a greyhound ticket to FL.. then the ex kicks her new bf back to KS, comes over needing a place to sleep & get away from meth. I give her uninterrupted sleep, feed her, etc.. and pretty soon we are together again. Nobody helps me get her a ticket to FL for what happened in KS, and before long, matching tickets are sold out. After a hellish, lonely journey in Greyhound, I end up in what seems like paradise, lonely, depressed. My girlfriend wants to get out of Meth City, and I've been trying to make the money with no luck. its been about a week now. My GF texted me how she is heartbroken and wants me to get her out of there. I need to fly her to Jacksonville airport, get her a ride to the nearest airport, and feed her, and I think it can all be accomplished for about $400. I do have intentions of repaying anyone that helps, once I start making money out here. All i need is about $400 to get her out of that drug infested town and out here to the country where she will be away from it all, distracted by lizards, squirrels, bunnies, etc. This girl means the world to me, she's had a rough life, and I want to make her life better like it should be. $400 will get her here to FL with me and I can take over from there, and when I repay, it will be more than was originally contributed, as it should be. this is "begslist" so: Pleeeeeeeease?

Hard Working Student Mother of 2 No Government Assistance

Posted by N3rdL1fe_WorkHard on 2012-05-03 10:58:50

Thank you for taking the time to read my BegsList post. I am a single mother of two children. I do not receive any government assistance, and I am also a college student. I am ashamed to ask people I do not know for money, but I have no other way to make ends meet right now.

My rent just went up $100, and I currently pay $940 in daycare each month. I was laid off my job in February. And since then, I have been doing temp work until I find another decent job.

I just need some help to keep a roof over my children's heads. My apartments do not accept partial payments and they refuse to work with me on a payment arrangement even though I've been living here for 3 years now and have never been late on rent.

Anything you offer will be greatly appreciated, and all of it will go directly to the light company and to my rent.

Thank you for your help and your prayers.

SCAMMERS GO AWAY!

Posted by Eve2012 on 2012-05-02 10:58:12

I posted a beg online because I need help and so far all i have gotten is two guys offering help(Scams). One wanted my name, address, phone number and wanted to send me checks so i could take out some money for myself and and send the rest to orphanage in Canada. The other took me through a long process of how he could know for sure I needed help. He made me believe he was sincere and genuinely willing to help. at the end of the day all he wanted was my bank account info. He said the only way he helps people is thru chase bank wire transfers and credit cards. When I told him I couldn't get a chase bank account he never contacted me again. If somebody is willing to help you they will donate via PayPal. I have not received any help yet but I hate scammers. I may have just gotten on begslist but to attempt to exploit already down on their luck individuals disgust me and If I am ever contacted by another person attempting to scam me I will make it my personal mission in life to demolish their sorry asses. I sometimes comment on peoples post asking if they want to be a referral for me and make some extra money that way. It is legit and I stand y my word. I do that because I need help too and although I am supposed to keep the money I make I pay some of it out to the person because they need the money and I feel something is better than nothing but there is no tricks or games. I'm starting to believe that nobody helps anybody on here but I have to hope I am wrong. I am trying to pay my past due and current rent before I am evicted as well as take care of my 2 son's. I have a 2yr old and a 4 month old and they keep me busy. my email is ycurry@yahoo.com if you are seriously interested in being a referral for me and completing some free offers(and I will help you understand how to do everything so you get credit) then hit me up. If you are interested in donating to me to help my family that is also my PayPal email address or you can hit the donate button below. If You want to scam me, try your luck and I guarantee it will be the biggest mistake of you've ever made! This is supposed to be about people helping people right?

Please help my best friend be matron at my already-saddened wedding

Posted by PurpleGirl8 on 2012-04-22 19:58:35

All the financial means that would've let my best friend/spirit sister be matron of honor at my wedding have fallen thru, in true Murphy's Law fashion. This is one of MANY snafus all draining joy from my wedding, the worst being my dad passing away. I'd forgo all the gifts on my registry if it meant my best friend could fly here for my wedding! (Please click the headline above for the full story. THANK YOU!)

A family in turmoil.

Posted by elbeecee on 2012-04-06 04:58:09

I am the eldest daughter of two ill parents. I have 2 siblings who have been the caregivers to my parents for several years now. It all started when my father got ill in 2007 with a need of open heart surgery. After that surgery he was never the same. He was a very successful emergency room physician and made very good money. However, he was off for several months from work due to his recovery period. Much of his savings/investments were depleted as he was the only bread winner in the family. My brother and sister had just gotten an apartment and were to start college when my father got ill. They withdrew from school just as quickly as we moved them into their apartment in order to help my mother take care of dad. My father attempted to return to work, but he was still having chest pain and major depression. In September of 2008 he was in the hospital again and needed heart stents to open up blockages. After that situation he physically could not go back to work. He was weak, depressed, and very withdrawn from life. My mother, bless her heart, tried to find ways to make some cash. She sold many pieces of her jewelry to try and pay bills. Regardless of what she profited, she was unable to fulfill the mounting medical bills, credit card bills, car payments, insurance bills, etc.
It wasn't long before she became gravely ill. In the summer of 2010 my mother had succumbed to kidney failure and had to be on kidney dialysis permanently. She had neglected to take care of herself while trying to take care of my father and their financial woes. Along with the financial woes, there were back taxes that were still owed and of course were impossible to pay, their house was falling apart--still is. By the end of Spring 2011, my mother got so ill and was on a ventilator at least 4 times in a 2 week period due to her lungs filling up with fluid. Finally it was discovered that she had endocarditis (infection in heart)that had ravaged one of her heart valves. This required open heart surgery and replacement of the defected valve. The endocarditis stemmed from an infected temporary dialysis catheter. She was in the hospital for over a month and a half or so. Needless to say she was confused, lost tons of weight, and lost the ability to walk or care for herself. She was placed in a nursing home for rehab, but several more stays in the hospital only made her fall several steps back on her rehab and she never has fully recovered. It was discovered that she also had a tumor on one of her kidneys and her kidney was removed in the Fall of 2011 and supposedly it was all contained and it was early stage renal (kidney) carcinoma (cancer). While my mother was in the hospital my father had trouble breathing and I took him to the hospital. It as discovered he was in kidney failure and they both ended up in the hospital at the same time. Now my father is on permanent kidney dialysis.
Now fast forward to present day April 6, 2012. My mother's dialysis shunt would not stop bleeding and she was taken to the emergency room. She also complained of right leg pain and ultimately she ended up with a CT angiogram. This test revealed she not only had some blockage in one of her arteries in her leg, but that she had metastatic cancer to her liver, lungs, and a site near her spleen. Of course we are devastated.
They have no money. The money they do get is always depleted as soon as they get it from Medicare. My mother's social security check went straight to the nursing home and still was not enough to cover her bill. My father would have to pay over $1,000 a month because Medicare would only pay for several weeks. Since she has been in the hospital now for almost 2 weeks, we have pulled her out of the nursing home because the expected us to pay over $180 A DAY to keep her spot at the nursing home.
Now we are faced with a surgery to fix her leg, a plan for cancer treatment, and no suitable place for my mother to live. Their current home is in shambles and I mean SHAMBLES. Roof leaks and is falling apart. I assume there is some black mold lingering. No central air or heat as their units are broke. Plus large amounts of stuff--my mother also was a hoarder. The house is disgusting and it has been hard to clean up with out major assistance and with constant trips to the hospital who has ample time (?). They live in a small town and it is very hard to simply get a dumpster to throw many items away. The house would have to be completely gutted and redone. The floors are sinking in and it is very dangerous. They don't have the funds to fix any of it and nor do I.
I have missed work several times over the last year and more with FMLA, but never have enough PTO to fully cover my own losses.
My siblings have yet to start their lives. They have been with my parents ever since 2007 to help them with everything. Even when my mother was in a nursing home my siblings and my dad would go see my mom every single day--we just didn't trust the care of the nursing home and rightly so because she developed a bed ulcer on her heel after the wound care nurse said it was getting better--not even close! And yes the blocked artery in her leg and her bed ulcer on her heel are related. The wound care nurse and the Dr. for the nursing home should have caught this medical issue.
So life has been tough, but reading about it doesn't even give it justice. We need financial assistance, a new home or help to fix it--we need a lot of help. I want my brother and sister to finally get on their own feet and do what they want to do. I feel bad for them because I was able to finish college and have a career, a husband, and a home. They have yet to accomplish their goals and it makes me sad and sick to see them so depressed. They are in their late 20s and my parents are both 65 y.o.
If anyone has a kind heart, I promise you I'm not lying. I have proof of all I have written about and I swear on everything--my family, my husband, etc. that this is all real. Thank you for your time and interest. If you can't help at least please pray for us.

I'm trying this BegsList as desperation as I don't know what to do. My wish is to get them a nice clean place to live and live their last years worry free.

19 Year Old Abuse Survivor Down On His Luck

Posted by stromboli_johnson on 2012-03-29 20:58:22

Hello BegsList. My name is Chris. I'm 19 years of age, and I live in Philadelphia. At the age of 18, I escaped an abusive household to enter the adult world. I am afflicted with autism and severe ADHD. I don't let those setbacks get to me though- I'm enterprising and constantly looking for employment. I finally had a good place- I found a well-paying position at Walgreens, and they transferred me into the Philadelphia market. Not three months after arriving, I was unexpectedly laid off. Due to some funky requirements in the rules, I was not able to draw unemployment. I have been diligently hunting for jobs ever since that fateful day, but unfortunately my efforts have proven fruitless. I have volunteered most of my time to a small non-profit when I'm not job searching. We're a small interfaith group that hits the streets with a message of love and peace for all, along with participating in several community service projects and education programs. We are currently experiencing a whole host of financial hardships as a whole. My beg is two pronged: On one hand, I am three months behind on my rent and on the verge of eviction. On the other hand, I am devoted to making my community better and making people a little happier through the non-profit. This is a last resort for me, as I've exhausted all other channels. Please help me out. Someone's gotta be out there. I thank you for taking the time to read this.

-Chris

Again, please

Help paying March Rent

Posted by dcusa55 on 2012-02-24 12:58:47

Are there any good samaritans or Christian people out there that can help me out? I am just now starting a new job and will not be paid until March 9. I have only $200.00 of the $600.00 of the rent. I need $400.00. I would be willing to pay the back over 3 months or I can donate the back here on Begslist. I need to tell my landlord by next Monday if I will have the full amount or not. Please let hear from you as soon as possible at dcusa55@hotmail.com. Thank you for reading my beg and God Bless You. (p.s. I do not have a paypal account)

Importance of Education-Help!

Posted by catholic75 on 2012-02-08 19:58:47

Hello everyone,

I have tried everything else in attempts to pull together funds for my daughters education at catholic school. We are catholic and this is of the UTMOST importance to me. I have tried to set up a fundraiser website and raised zero dollars in doing so. I have found a job and began working in hopes to save the money for this coming fall. However, I am barely keeping my head above water even with working. I realize that maybe Catholic quality education is only for the financially well off but I want the absolute best for my daughter just as any parent would. I pleaded with my parish priest to allow me to volunteer to offset tuition cost to no avail. I have tried everything except begslist. I wonder if God will give me a MIRACLE here. I sure hope so. Please help in any way you can if you feel you can. The total cost of tuition is $5,000 but what I need immediately is at least $250 to get her seat secured and registration form in. She already had her assessment and scored above the local and national average! Thank you for reading and God bless.

Please help me clear debt that is drowning me

Posted by George180262 on 2012-02-06 11:58:11

I’ve never asked for any kind of help before, and certainly not from people that I have never met! But my situation has become so desperate that I really do need help.
I have, for the last 15 years, struggled to make ends meet, following periods of ill-health, bad luck and catastrophic decision making. My circumstances are now very desperate indeed, and have even considered suicide.
In 1997 I suffered from a period of depression, that became so severe that I was forced to give up my job, and borrowed money to cover my mortgage and keep my house. Unfortunately the repayments on this ever increasing debt snowballed, and I found myself unable to meet my mortgage and household bills. I had ploughed my life savings into the home, and lost it all.
In 2006 I was approached by a friend, who was concerned for my financial circumstances, and suggested that we buy an old property, renovate it and sell it for a profit. I was desperate to make some money, and trusted my friend. I would refer you to full details of this in my Beg, as the project ended in complete failure having been ripped off by an unscrupulous builder. Work that should have taken 3 months took in excess of 9, and I ended up carrying out all the work myself. I regularly worked at the house from the early hours until well past midnight. The long hours left me exhausted, and in October 2008 I had a breakdown. I simply couldn’t carry on, and collapsed at work. My employer at the time was an unforgiving and vindictive man, and he said that I would be suspended if my work didn’t improve. I was afraid that I would lose my job, and under considerable psychological pressure from my employer I was forced to resign.
Following the failed business venture, which had plunged me into further debt, my breakdown and subsequent loss of my job, I simply couldn’t cope and pushed me into a long period of depression that became so severe that I planned to take my life. At the time I was so ill that I was unable to hold down a job, and this simply added to my woes - whilst out of work and undergoing intensive counselling I borrowed further. By the end of 2009 I was £15,000 ($23,250) in debt. I desperately want to rebuild my life now, but it is difficult to do so when I am saddled with a debt that is crippling me. Between 2009 and December 2010 my debt increased - there is no answer to it, and I will never ever me able to clear the £18,000 ($27,900) that I now owe. It is a debt that cripples me and prevents me from having a normal, happy life. I am 50 in February 2012, but have no future. I am tired of being worried, stressed, unable to sleep, and being depressed. Please, please help me start my life all over again. Please read my full story, and contact me if you have any questions. Thank you.

Please help me bring my wife to Australia.

Posted by Brunsie64 on 2012-02-04 22:58:42

I am a 64yo disability pensioner living in Bayswater, Victoria, Australia. I recently married a Filipino lady in Cebu, Philippines (October 29th 2011). The immigration process is both costly, and takes a long time. I am in a position to bring my wife to Australia on a visitors visa that will allow us to be together until her spouse visa is approved. I have tried to loan $2,000Aus. to pay for the costs of getting her here, but due to me being on a pension no lending organisation will approve me the money. As a last resort I have turned to BegsList to seek help with my crisis. Even if some kind person could loan me this money, I am happy to repay them from earnings from my part time job. I am desperate. I can verify my honesty with documentation and references if needed.

I was on the internet trying to find a charity that would help us, when I came across Begslist. I have a difficult time asking for money, let alone "begging" for it. However, my husband and I are in a desperate situation.
A couple of months ago, we lost our baby son. We were 5 months pregnant. It was the most difficult thing my husband and I ever experienced. The pain hurt to our cores and stung like nothing we had ever experienced. I feel empty (literally and figuratively) and would love to hold our son. We are left with a sadness that we will carry with us the rest of our lives.
Now, as the medical bills have started to arrive, we are forced to relive our loss daily. As I open each envelope, my heart hurts and I long for our son.
On top of being left with such sadness, we have also been left with over $9,000 in medical bills and NO clue as to how we are going to be able to pay them.
That is what brings me to my search for charity and I pray that some kind soul (or souls) out there find this post. I do believe in miracles and know that God is SO faithful.
Any donation amount would greatly help. I would be more than happy to disclose medical bill amounts and names of debtors.
Thank you and God bless.

Education in Holistic Wellness

Posted by SpiritualStudent on 2012-01-04 05:58:16

I'm using BegsList to ask for donations to support my transition from a low-paying sales job to a meaningful career in the healing arts. I was blessed to be accepted into a highly selective program & upon graduation, I will have developed my inherent talents for holistic healing & wellness and begin serving others by offering various natural & organic-based therapies for skin issues & other ailments. While I will receive very limited loans via financial aid, they will not cover over $5000 of my tuition, not to mention living expenses. I am willing to work while in school, but would prefer to focus on my studies and offer my full energy to my clients when I begin my clinicals. I am a deeply spiritual & meditative young man who has earned a golden opportunity. I just need some help from compassionate, like-minded, & generous donors to allow my dream to manifest into reality. I am also a generous spirit who has offered many of my talents... writing, music, cooking, and others... free of charge to many people via blogging & other forums. I vow to use my education to help heal individuals, educate on holistic healing arts, & change the world in the most positive ways I possibly can. I will pay it forward. Of this, you can rest assured. If you have read thus far, thank you! You are likely a very intuitive & health-conscious individual. Please feel the energy of these words & allow my honesty, dedication to my life's purpose, & mostly your own heart- guide you in deciding whether or not to help me in the pursuit of my deepest desire: to truly be of service to others by gaining the expertise required to help them heal themselves. Thank you so much and all the Best for a Prosperous & Peaceful 2012!

Hello fellow BegsList users, I have to admit that I know that I am not a person fully in need (compared to the hungry). I have donated, I have persuaded, I have scarified. Now I need your help to get every cent I can so that I can save up for a Christmas holiday. The one time in the year when I allow my self to really explore the world. Every cent will help. And every donation is considered a powerful and meaningful gift.

Please help

I am in-between jobs. The final payment for my car is way overdue. My phone and internet are due today. Rent was due yesterday. I DO start a new job in two weeks. I just need $1,300 to get through and not lose my car. Hopefully by the end of the day. If you can help me exceed $1,500, I will donate at least $200 to BegsList site and will strive to donate to others in need in the future.

Truck Fire Surviver

Posted by truckfiresurviver on 2011-11-16 09:58:55

Hello. I am a commercial driver in need of financial help. My situation is 100% verifiable. On 9/20/11 I was driving a tractor trailer in Lamar, Pa, delivering a load to New Jersey when my truck caught on fire. To escape certain death I had to jump out of the burning truck, sustaining injuries in the process. A few minutes later the truck exploded and was incinerated. There was no driver error. Everybody who hears my story tells me that I'm lucky to be alive. However, Ive been out of work ever since. I do have legal representation in a workers comp case pending in Pa. My lawyer informed me that it may take up to a year before I start receiving workers comp benefits because my employer failed to have workers comp coverage while operating his business in Pa. I have absolutely no income. I lost my home and is now staying with a relative, sleeping on his couch. My car was towed due to expired tags. My bill to get my car out of the tow yard is now $2500 and rising daily. If I dont get my car out I will lose it in less than two weeks. I'm in serious pain daily from my injuries but cant get medical treatment because I dont have medical insurance and is forced to wait until I begin receiving workers comp benefits before I can get medical treatment. I applied for and was denied public assistance because I have only joint, and not full, custody of my 6 year old daughter. Even though NC Dept Of Social Services sympathized with what happened to me they told me that nc dss policy dont allow a parent with only joint custody of his child to get public assistance despite the fact that the nature of my occupation (over the road commercial transportation)prohibits me from having full custody of my child. I cant work until I receive treatment for my injuries. I dont know what else to do for money while waiting for my workers comp case to go through.I currently cant even provide food for myself and my daughter. Everyday I'm sinking deeper and deeper into destitution, anxiety and depression.I am sincerely hoping that somebody will read my story on Begslist and decide to help me. I am a hard working American citizen that, through no fault of my own, was involved in an on the job incident that left me injured, homeless, carless and destitute. I need help.Again, my situation is 100% verifiable. If you have any questions please call 980-345-7601 and ask for Wayne. Any and all help you can provide me will be truly appreciated.

family crisis

Posted by susannahg on 2011-10-31 02:58:19

Hello to all the kind-hearted, generous Begslist Donors. I am here asking for help with my family crisis. I have been out of work for just over a year, with many, many unsuccessful applications. I am a single mother of a beautiful son. I am a visual artist with a Fine Arts degree. I hope to pursue post-graduate studies in the near future. I am a hard worker and am determined to find work. 4 weeks ago I broke my ankle and had to have surgery. I am recovering well, though it has been difficult. As a consequence of not working for a year, my financial situation is utterly dire. I am seriously behind in all my amenities bills with disconnection pending notices, and every 2nd week this past year, there is virtually no food in my fridge or pantry, which causes much distress and anxiety for my son and I. My washing machine is dying and I have no means to replace it. We are so worn down by this and my broken ankle was like the last straw! I would be forever grateful to anyone who assists me by donating. I am an honest, responsible, resourceful and frugal person. Many thanks.

Seeking Help To Avoid Foreclosure

Posted by povertysuckx on 2011-10-30 22:58:39

I am a handyman/ home improvement specialist who has not been able to find paying work for over 3 years thanks to the deplorable real estate market caused by the greedy banks who screwed this country. I went from earning a good living at about 50K per year and reduced down to washing dishes in a Chinese restaurant for $100.00 a week just to pay for keeping food on the table. My wife is now about to lose her home and we have not able to find work with NO unemployment or other benefits coming in. She was able to be approved for a load modification to a payment that she can afford but needs to come up with $3,500.00 to pay the bank. I accidentally found Begslist and am posting here hoping to find goodhearted people who would be willing to help.
