I have never begged for money or help and to be completely honest I hate that I am sitting writing this now, I am normally the kind of person that just gets on and deals with a situation.

I have slipped into a seriously bad financial situation, I lost my job and have got myself into a cycle of payday loans I just cant control the situation anymore. I really need help and quickly.

I am becoming very depressed and have pretty much sold every thing I own to try and raise extra money, it is effecting my relationship and my family are starting to become effected too.

I need around $1000, this is to cover fuel and car expenses so I can get out and work when I can also hunt for a job as well as general living, any money I do get is given straight to payday lenders.

in a couple of weeks i will be homeless. after becoming unemployed two years ago i was living off money which i had from cashing in my retirement account. after taking a couple of months for leisure ( i hadn't had an actual vacation, aside from a long weekend here or there, for the past 12 years) i was in the beginning phase of starting a small business. then i had a heart attack. i had surgery to place a stent in one of my arteries. it seems that i was born with a twisted artery and had been living with it all my life suffering no ill effects. according to my doctor artery walls are fairly thin and pliable when one is young, but as a person ages the walls thicken and become less pliant. when you combine these two factors with the twist of the artery, the result is a cutoff of the flow of blood to the heart. my doctor said that had i waited another day to come into the hospital, i would have died. while the surgery left me weak, it was the anti-rejection medication that i was on which was the problem. it left me so tired and weak, that after a walk to and from the local bodega just two blocks from my apartment , after i walked in the door i had to lay the bags down and sit and rest for a half hour or more, before i could put groceries away or even thinking about standing up and preparing food. quite a change from when i was biking 5 miles a day/ five days a week and lifting weights several times a week. my bank account was swiftly drained due to the cost of the hospital stay/surgery, and to the cost of medications ($130/month).
once i was off the anti-rejection meds and feeling well enough to work, i began searching for a job seeing as my hope of starting a business drained away with the money in my bank account. but unfortunately, with the economy the way it is, i have been unsuccessful in my search. i am now virtually penniless and am being evicted from my apartment. i am have sold off what few possessions i have in order to have some cash to buy the things i need for living on the streets, but the accumulated amount came to less than $100.

I have made many bad financial choices over the years and have been trying to turn things around. Unfortunately, I am now so far behind on my bills that the possibility of becoming current is very slim without some help. I want so much to be current on my bills, but when you can't even see the light at the end of the tunnel, it is hard to even try. I just don't know what to do anymore. My familiy and I have been struggling for some months now. I have an 18 month old son, and another boy on the way.

With work hours becoming short, and a lay-off soon on the way, I have fell short on paying for my bills, and haven't been able to put any money into my rent. This week I wasn't even ablet to afford putting gas in my vehivle to get to work!!

My landlord is threatening to evict me if I don't give him money ASAP. He's going to be stopping by tomorrow (Friday) night to take the keys...

I'm normally not the one to beg, and while I can make do being homeless, I know my son can't. He is the one and only reason I'm on here, BEGGING for help.

My rent, plus late fees, is $1,010. Go ahead and say it... it's a lot, I should find a different place... etc. But I don't have any money at all to go anywhere else, and if I could just get help getting through this month.. I know I could find another/better job and fix everything. I know because I've already got interviews lined up... but I need money now to keep my home!

I'm an actor. I've known this all my life but didn't take it seriously. For years I thought only vain, shallow people went into acting. Or people who were a lot better looking than I am.

Well, now I'm 41 years old and not vain about my looks. I have no illusions about becoming a Hollywood A-lister. I just love the craft, the art of acting and am going back to school for it.

There are very few grants available to acting students. Although I've registered for classes and have been cast in next fall's University production, I'm not sure I'll be able to afford tuition, books and housing.

After losing my job in October of 2009, I am now losing my home in June of 2012. I need a place to rent in a safe area in the Detroit Metro Area. I have been offered a couple of places but would be about $200 short a month. I am so afraid of becoming homeless and so very sad about having to lose my cat that I have had for 8 years. Can anyone offer advice or help. I am willing to work or trade for some help.

I currently have $165,000 in student loan debt. I am out of school, and working as many jobs, side jobs, and gigs I can find to pay off this massive debt. It is very discouraging to have spent 5 hard years of my life becoming an educated individual, when I have nothing to show for it. I will be paying this debt off for over 25-30 years, by this time I will be 54 years old. I would love to be able to have a life before I turn 54... Owning a house someday would be a dream come true, but I'm not sure it will be since I already owe enough money for one.

P.S. These are private loans mainly, so I cannot go on income based repayments like I would be able to if they were federal. I did not receive any federal money or FAFSA money. I wish I could go on income based repayments, because life is very hard at the moment.

Hi, My name is Melissa and Im currently out of work. While things are tough my little dog a poodle named Little Bit has been my constant companion. She is the light in my dark world. But its becoming harder to keep her feed and I don't want to have to give her up to the pound. I love her and want to keep her. Injured on my job 8/16/2005, fighting with SSA since Jan 2006 for SDI which is currently at the appeals court and I have 8 more months before they will decide. Husband passed away at a young age of 49 in 2009. I have no one to ask for help. Been living on less than three hundred a month and food stamps since injury. I am on section 8 housing. I have always managed to get the money to pay my bills through light cleaning or selling stuff at swap meets or on craigslist. No longer have a means to get stuff and take to swap meet and no sales or cleaning calls from craigslist. I am way behind on my bills and if utilities get disconnected I can lose my housing aid. I need new glasses as I can no longer see properly out of mine and I need a truck to be able to go to the swap meet again so I can earn the money to pay my own bills. As of now I need 2500.00 dollars to get caught up and get glasses and 3000.00 to 5000.00 to purchase a truck tag it and insure it. I am not even asking for money. I just need a cosigner for my GraduatePLUS loan for med school and don't have anyone. I have been accepted to Ross University for September, 2012. I am getting the standard Direct loan from the government but that does not even come close to covering the cost of med school so I also need the government PLUS loan, which requires a credit check. I have OK credit, but it's not great and I know I won't qualify.

I know that this is a huge undertaking, especially for a stranger. I also realize the added risk to you, given the fact that I will be attending a foreign medical school. However, I am an incredibly driven and responsible person who will (obviously) stop at nothing to realize my dream of becoming a doctor. If you are considering helping me, please make yourself aware of how this might affect your credit until I can release you from the loan (because I am not even 100% aware of what all of the implications might be. I was a biology major, not a finance major). Best case scenario: you have enough money and good enough credit that this will never affect you; you can sign it and forget about me as I promise I will never cause you any trouble. One thing is for sure: if you do this for me, I will certainly never forget you. Please have some faith in the human race and help me help others. Thank you.

Please help! This is a last resort to keep a roof over my 2 year old baby girl's head. I am thirty years old and have owned a small condo for the past 6 years with no problems until we lost our jobs of many years due to the economy. We are currently at about six thousand dollars behind in mortgage payments and received notice that we have went into foreclosure. We still have a chance to pay our delinquent amount in full to keep it from actually being foreclosed and becoming homeless. We have no place to go if we lose our home. It is all we have to our name. I feel like such a failure as a mother that it has come to this and really can not bare having to take my baby girl to live in a homeless shelter. To make matters worse, her birthday is in a few days on April 3rd and we have no money at all to be able to have a party for her or to get her a gift. I've never asked or begged for help from strangers before but it's our only hope. We have no one who can help us so hoping to find kind hearted people that know what it’s like to get down on your luck and kicked while you’re down who are able and willing to help a family get back up.
