I have been asking for help from this predatory lender Rochester Home Equity which no one heard of this company. I have filed a complaint against RHE with Department of Financial Services and the reply was I can not get any help from them because my case is in court yes I know that it's been in court for 2 Years and i am not getting anywhere, I know that Jay Gelb the owner of Rochester Home equity is a millionaire, I just can't bet this lender and it's not fair that Mr. Gelb is going to take my houses and won't do a modification, and it's so sad that Mr. Gelb from Rochester Home Equity taking advance of low income people, I just want to know how many other victims is out there and couldn't get any help from anyone to help them before it was to late and everything they work for is GONE. My problem is I am being counsel by my lawyer but again it's has been a on gowning problem with Rochester Home Equity, all we been asking is for Rochester Home equity to TAKE my mother house off the lien that didn't have any mortgage on the 48 Homewood Ave my mother left me and my brother and do modification my house on 43 Twiller St. Rochester Home Equity is just giving us a hard time. As of right now I am debt with my lawyer for $10,000.00 that money I don't have because going to court and trying to do modification and we are not getting anywhere with this lender. I am so tried that Rochester Home Equity want reply to any thing that my lawyer is asking. I just want RHE this predatory lender just take my mother home that she left me and my brother off the lien that didn't have any mortgage on the home and work with my home that is worth $136,000.00 I brought the house I live in for $130,000.00 and my rate is 12.5 percent don't you think that a very HIGH rate. Yes I am bennig counsel by a lawyer as i stated my lawyer is not getting anywhere with this Rochester Home Equity. All I am asking you for help and step in because what RHE is doing is wrong and like I stated NO one cares what happen to me and other people that the lender is doing to us and hurting people too. Now I will be going into Chapter 13 because I don't want to lose my homes, and RHE this Predatory Lender just don't care ONLY wants both houses. So can you PLEASE step into this matter! It's a big problem as you see what have happen to me. Me and my lawyer just want Rochester Home Equity is take my mother home off the lien and work with the new modification and redo my loan, but that's not going to happen so that is why I am pleading with you ASAP to save my houses. Again Please take a close look at me statement again.
I am also going to email you all the my document to you. And hope you can find out that i have been taking advance of all i am asking if you can take your time and read what i am sending you, and again i am just asking for this lender to take my mother house off the lien and let me do modifcation as i been trying to do. I've been out of work since October of last year, and I have run out of places to turn in order to pay my bills. While I actively send out multiple resumes per day to prospective employers, I ave only had a handful of interviews and no offers as of yet. I am at risk of having my (overdrawn) bank account closed, my electricity shut off, and eviction from my apartment if I am unable to get the money I need in a very short period of time.

My mother,Delores Chavez,was diagnosed with bladder cancer in January 2011. It was a late stage diagnosis which she lost the battle on August 30th 2011. This is a very difficult time for us, not only are we grieved with loss of our wonderful mom but it's harder to lay her to rest due to our financial difficulties. Thru the process of her illness we the family thought the insurance payments were being deducted directly from mom's account but it was not. We lost our baby brother 3 yrs ago and he also had no insurance to cover cost of his burial and mom had not recovered mentally from that loss. This is what caused mom more illness and forgetfulness of insurance payments. Our family is having serious financial problems and no insurance. Many times death is a sudden event and we are certaintly experiencing suffering thru this. She lost her business in 2004 and we then worked togeather to save our family home now my mom takes care of one disabled daughter and her 4 children and another grandchild that has disabilities with her son in law that was just released from prison to 3 of his children and one that was born while incarcerated to clear his record and become a dad to all, the loan servicer and bank refuse to work with them even though they begged them for one yr. now the servicer has found a program but its to late they want 10,000 in order to stop the auction. please

Hi I've been out on medical leave from work since 3/07/11 for my right foot. The middle bone was so far out I needed surgery for the terrible pain. Well my foot doctor and personal doctor both agreed, but the hold up was Met Life Insurance. At first they wanted to see it as a simple bunion repair, but it is not. In fact, the Podiatrist after consulting her peer specialists decided to place a cast around foot for a few weeks to avoid amputation of other toes later.So then I had to appeal for review, because all paperwork was not received by doctors on time. I went on 4/28/11 to Podiatrist for a return to work while waiting on surgery and because I lie upstairs and ave to hop down I missed the last step. My motor scooter is parked at bottom which i bumped into fell on ground and motor scooter fell giving me a spiral fracture on my right leg. I was rushed to ER..laid up 14 days trying to come up with $1000 deductible for surgery. The doctor worked with me, because the surgery could not wait. I just had the surgery last Friday. I am two months behind rent, which I pay $650 per month plus late fees. My car note and insurance is behind, which I owe $800 for car and $400 for insurance. I was ale to get emergency food stamps, but I have no funds. Now I will be out 6 weeks with my broken leg which required plates in the crushed tibia. All this is documented. I am still waiting for the review, but I will be evicted on 4/24/11. Please I really need an Angel bad. I never thought I would have to beg. I work Technical Support with one of the big wireless carriers and we aren't protected either from situations like these. Please someone find it in their hearts to help. All through my life I've help others...sure wish I could find an Angel of my own now...Thank You!!!

I have a fiancee who lives in the Philippines. I have known her for the list three years.
About two years ago she hurt her eye when she ran into a metal object. There was bleeding inside her eye and they had to operate to get the blood out. And after that she had medicine to take to keep from to getting infected. And she took it for one month and then she stoped taking to for the next month and got an infection in it and I had to buy medicine again for her to stop the infection or she would go blind.
She has had trouble with that eye on and off ever sence she hurt her eye. I payed for all her medical expences,the operation,medicine everything with what was left over form my college loans and credit cards and other loans.Now I have no more money to help her and my credit score is so low that I can get no more loans.And the Philippine government is such a poor country that you can only get help if you are almost dead and by the time it goes through it would be to late any way.And I can ask the U.S. government for help because she doesn't live in the US and is not a citizen.
She is in pain from her eyes again and I she can't get medicine in time she will lose her eye sight.
This has all been very hard on me because I have no way to help her any more and I will have to be the one that will have to set over here and watch her go blind and there would be nothing I can do about. And adding to my stress is the fact that most of the people I talk to about it don't seen to care.

Help me please! I am a college student and have been trying to find work for this summer but it's hard to find a job. My friend invited to work in Hawaii with her where she stays with her sister. My basement is filling up with water, (it put out the water heater pilot light yesterday) and the water is rising at a dramatic rate. We've had the roto rooter guys out three times and they said last time that we would probably have to replace the pipes going from the house out to the main line... that's gonna run a couple thousand at least.
On top of all this the car needs new shocks, struts, brakes, and rotors... as well as needing insurance so we can get new plates in november.
The bills are also piling up...
We are very low income... weekly income averages only $180 a week after a garnishment for a car that was repossessed ten years ago, and we just got a letter saying that the check is getting garnished again for old student loans...
I don't know how we're going to pay all this... I need to find at least $5000 to do all this at the very least... so that's why I'm turning to here.
I'm begging, literally begging, if someone out there could please help me.
