i finally got accepted into pharmacy school and i am broke. i cannot afford to pay bills and school fees at the same time. i got 2 kids and a mother who suffers from clinical depression since my dad left us. i decided to go to school to change my future outlook for my kids, whose father by the way gave up his responsibilty and paternal rights. i have been doing it ALL BY MYSELF! i have lost the weight to prove it. none of my family is here they are mostly in Congo. i am the oldest of 6 children and i am trying my best to assist and be the bread winner of my family. i only make 10.00 an hour and the school i got accepted into, i can not get any loans because i still owe money or i am deliquent on my house bills. i cry EVERYDAY for help!! sometimes i wanna kill my self other times i wallow in a depressive state.....PLEASE HELP ME!! i will take any dime or dollar...thank you

I recently lost my job and was forced to give up my apartment and move back in with my mother, who lives in another state. I had nothing to do with her for a number years, as she was/is extremely abusive, but being unemployed and close to homelessness I was running out of options and she promised she'd changed and would help me get back on my feet. Unfortunately she lied, and my life has been hell ever since. She refuses even to let me leave the house and constantly tells me how worthless I am, and keeps me up half the night screaming at me. I don't have any friends to turn to and at this point I'd rather be homeless than deal with my mother anymore. I understand there are lot of people on here who need help, but all I'm asking for is a Greyhound bus ticket so I can finally escape. I've looked online and a ticket would cost about $200 from where I am to New York, which is where I used to live. But any assistance at all would be greatly appreciated!!! I'd also pay you back as soon as I was able to. Thank you.

I have a family of five in need of financial assistance to make ends meet this month. Our rent is due plus late fees which equals $1500. I recently decided to make a better future for my self and my family and decided to go to nursing school which by the way at the time sounded like a wonderful idea. I now have only 12 months left and we are sinking fast. My husband works his butt off to provide for myself and our three kids but recently work had dropped so we are now about to be evicted. I now have to choose between finishing school or quitting to get a job and help out. I am not a begger by choice and would gladly pay someone back over a monthly payment. PLEASE HELP IF YOU ARE ABLE!!!!!!!!!

I am entering my senior year of college. I have been working full-time throughout my college career to help support my family--my mother, who has been laid off and unable to find a job that pays as high as she needs, my sister and her daughter (my eight month old niece), who I also babysit whenever possible, and my boyfriend, who also lives with us. We all work as much as we can -- my mother works three jobs. We need assistance, to keep our home, to keep necessary hygienic products and food in our home, to pay college debt, etc. Absolutely anything will help.

I am in hopes that I can find some assistance in paying my rent for the month of June. I am a single father of 3 children currently going though a divorce. I work 50-60 hours a week to try and keep up on the bills. However, our van broke down two weeks ago and I am still recovering financially from the cost of repairs which was over $1300.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciative. My rent is $689/mo. I will have a total of $165 and still need $524.

I am trying all that I can do to make ends meet, but have hit a rough patch. I am currently having to reside with a couple who have a child of their own in a 2 bedroom apartment, and am looking for any kind of assistance in getting into a new place for myself, my son and daughter. I am looking for work on a constant basis, but have had no luck in this economy; consequently, without a vehicle it's made it even harder.

I am a single mother of two. I recently just moved and I am having a hard time getting adjusted. I do have a job, but I have been playing catch up on the rent. I did make that a priority so that we would at least have a roof over our heads. But that has left us almost starving. I have been to the local food banks, but they all only run only once a month. I have applied for government assistance, but because I make more than minimum wage they are unwilling to help at all! I am drowning here and I don't want my children to starve! It's so hard to come on this site and ask for assistance, but when you have four small kids you have to do what's best for them. I need prayer and help.
All was well just a year ago. I had a good paying job, a beginning side business, and a blessed life. I left my job to move 2000 miles so my wife and I could care for her mother. I used my savings to rent a home for us and paid months in advance to cover us while I looked for work.
I have been unable to find work, my mother-in-law passed, my wife was diagnosed with cancer and we no longer had good health coverage, and my savings ran out. My small side business can only provide enough to cover the basics and since there is nothing left over, it cannot grow. We are 3-4 months behind our bills and all are getting impatient. The medical care my wife needs is about to end if I can’t make a payment in the next few days.
I am a disabled veteran of Desert Storm and am limited with some of the work I can find. It has been a struggle to try to stay positive and hopeful this past year. The same banks offering loans when times were good are denying any assistance now that times are bad. I pray daily for a change.
As I started in this letter, I need prayer and help.
I know God hears me and has a plan for me and even in our circumstances, I never doubt His love for me. I just need more voices to reach out and let Him know I need Him more than ever at this moment.

I am a 23 year old mother, with a wonderful husband and beautiful 5 year old son. My husband and I have always worked hard to give our son the things that he has needed. Here lately, we have hit a rough spot in our income and are in dire need of financial assistance. We are currently living off 268 dollars a week in unemployment, and cannot cover our bills. We are both full time students and are having a hard time finding new jobs in this economy. Our rent alone is 650 which after that has been paid, leaves barely enough to cover food and household items, let alone the water, gas, and light bill. We are looking for ANY financial assistance. I hate that I'm here begging for help! I need some financial assistance badly. My mother is very ill and my husband is disabled to the point that I have to take care of him as well. I have 6 children in my care. Im struggling badly. Everyday I wake up crying. I don't know how to do this anymore. I will never quit loving and trying to provide for my loved ones, but honesty I have absolutely nothing left. I'm only 27 and I'm doing what any mother/daughter would do, but now I'm out of means to do so. Please help me. I don't know who else to ask ... My wife and I have 3 children with another on the way. A few years ago I was a successful insurance and annuity agent, but the downturns in the economy forced me to get out of that line of work. I am working 3 jobs, putting in as many hours as I can, but with some recent medical bills we have gotten behind. Currently, we are totally broke, and our cabinets are getting pretty empty. We are a month behind on water and electric bills, our phone bill, and our student loans, and it is another week before I can expect any paycheck so I can get to the grocery store and catch up on a few bills. We don't have health insurance, and my work doesn't offer any group plan, so we have had to go on Medicaid for the kids and my wife's pregnancy. We have always been hesitant to seek out government assistance, but last month we found ourselves with no food to eat and behind on all our bills. We applied for SNAP (food stamps), but were told that we make $150 per year too much because of all the jobs I am working. I'm exhausted, but I would work more if I had any hours left in the days to get extra work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was laid off from my job a couple years ago in that time frame I was collecting unemployment and return back to school. In the midst of everything I separated from my live in boyfriend at the time and found myself in a jam. I seek help frm social service for housing and everything was going according to plan, I found a location who agreed to take me in with state assistance rent. I moved in with the landlord permission and assumption that she would be paid accordingly;however, because I was finally blesse with a reliable job the state ended up not persuing what was said and never paid the landlord... When the landlord advise me of this I immediately seeked answers. Social service said basically I have a job. Could pay and so I did, Ive paid my rent every month but now landlord wants to evict me for the amount owed from social service I've done everything possible to work something out with the landlord and nothing. I have no place to go and I am a single mother and can't afford in one sum what the landlord is seeking, Im asking for any financial assistance, donation ANYTHING to come up with the amount of $3,500 ASAP... Single mother of 2, 6 and 7 months and pregnant while unemployed. I am currently living with my mother along with her boyfriend, my brother and 2 children in a small 2 bedroom apartment. I have applied for government assistance but have not been approved because of stupid mistakes I have made in the past, also makes it hard to find a job but I will not stop trying, even though I am currently pregnant and high risk because of already being threatened with a miscarriage. I desperately need help, my family and have been doing what we can to help each other but even with us all together we are still struugling and behind on bills. I never thought that I would be in this position but I am begging and crying for help.

I am a retired military service member, my daughter is a 9 year honorable discharged veteran. We share a home with her 2 daughters.

Due a tax lien I was unable to pay my rent for April and now May.

Neither my daughter nor myself seems to qualify for all the vet assistance programs because we did not deploy to areas such as Iraq or Afganistan. We stayed home and took care of the family members of the personnel that did.

It hurts not to be able to take care of my family as I should.

Is there anyone out there that can please help.

Hello. Im writing this with my pride put aside because i've let the love of my life down as far as im concerned and need help in order to pay the remaining past due rent for this month. This is not easy for me to do because of the overwhelming feeling of failure that just eats me up inside. We have been together for more than 12 yrs now and we have always managed somehow to make it through some extremely difficult times. This women is an Angel of Mercy for those who know her and to her family she is simply the rock. She is 1 of 5 sisters, all having 2 children a piece, and to which all 10 children she has taken in under our roof for extended periods through all the years i've known her. She is the most positive and giving person I have ever met! I LIVE FOR THIS WOMEN and have always reassured her that I could never at any cost, no matter how tough things got, give her reason for serious concern or not be able to get us past any finacial issues no matter how bad it looks. Yes im feeling very sorry for myself because I was a truck driver and lost my job because of an accident that was my fault and where knowone was injured, resulted in a dollar amount that was too high for my company to retain insurance in order for me to continue in thier employment. Week to week we got by and then back in December the freight slowed and my checks that the bulk of our bills and all the rent came out of, was now barely making the household bills. We fell behind Dec and Jan rent and was given such a break from an understanding landlord and we caught up in Feb with every dime of our tax refund given to a thankful landlord but one that stated, from that point on, we must be on time. After all the struggle we went through and the extreme patients and understanding of our landlord....now i've lost my job! We have spent the first half of this month calling and talking to and submitting applications to so many programs for assistance but getting turned away with no solutions. We have no more time and if forced to moved i will have let down the last person on earth that deserves it. Our rent is $675 a month and sent $300 yesterday and it was everything we had. we need $375 and nothing more. if anyone can help, you will find knowone more greatful beyond words can trully express and any additional info needed for your consideration can be provided if requested.
