Mine is a long story, so I am going to try to keep it on the short side.

When my wife and I got married she had twin daughters, both with severe handicaps. After we were married for about 5 years Ashley passed away. We were living about 7 hours from where my wife was from and she wanted her final resting place to be near her "home". We moved here to be closer to my wifes family and nearer to Ashley. Shortly after we moved here, I was taken out of work for health reasons. Then Courtney passed away. After paying for 2 funerals in a short time and not working, hard times hit us hard. I got a job against my doctors wishes. My wife got a job for a short time until she was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, now she can't work. So for the past year we have some how been getting by with my income (barely over minimum wage).

So now with some unexpected bills for car trouble and medical bills, we are in need of help for our rent.

There is more to our story and if you want to know more, feel free to ask. But that is the basic part of it.

The amount that I need is $560, but anything would help right now

This is very hard to do, and I hate to say I believe it is just something I am doing out of desperation & deep down inside I think it doesn't matter & I will not be helped but here it goes .... It seems like whatever we do we cannot catch up on what's past due. Due to me handing over my paychecks so they don't get evicted I have now fallen behind myself. I received a letter in the mail the other day that my truck is going to be reposed because I have fallen 3 payments behind. If I could just get 3,000.00 dollars I can pay their rent they are behind on & pay at-least 2 of my truck payments so we can survive. I was hospitalized frequently and lost my sales job because I could not produce. While in the hospital they found I had non-drinkers cirrhosis of the liver (a family illness which killed my cousin recently).

I also have painful cirrhotic arthritis, diabetes, and now a serious heart condition from stress. My ribs are fracturing and I may have bone cancer.  It seems like every week I have another diagnosis, most of which can kill me.

I am Raising a Disabled Child

My daughter Ashley is 19 and and has a 16 month old son Kingston. She became extremely unstable after his birth. Ashley has struggled with physical and mental illness on and off since her childhood and has been in 10 institutions since the baby was born. She gets overwhelmed easy and is afraid of losing me so she has begun to have small mental breakdowns that land her in the psychiatric ward.

The stress of raising Ashley alone has taken a toll on me over the years and now I am primary caregiver for the baby who exhausts me and I fear we will have to give him up.

We live week to week on gifts from friends and family, always fearing eviction. Our family has said they have no more to give. We have no car and my daughter cannot get to her treatment program so we are stuck inside most of the time as it is very hot here.

I applied for disability and Ashley also has a strong disability case. Will be able to support ourselves then but we don't know when it will happen.

In the meantime, we are living hand to mouth running out of diapers and food and almost got evicted last month. I am exhausted and terrified. We are afraid we will have to give up the baby and move to a shelter. I don't know how my life got this bad but it did.

My name is Ashley and I am a mom to 3 young children and also step mom to 4 additional children. His 4 are ages 13, 11, 8 and 7. And then our 3 are ages 5, 3 and 15 months.

My husband has a good job and works very hard but with the cost of living and his child support that he pays we just aren't making it. I myself have just gotten a job, but wont be starting until Monday. I had been a stay at home mom mostly due to the high cost of child care.

Anyway, my husband doesn't get paid until tomorrow. We have shut off notices for everything and I have absolutly no food in the house for dinner tonight. My children are right now eating lunch which thankfully I had just enough bread for PB&J, but after lunch I have nothing more to give them. I don't have eggs, I don't have cereal, I don't have any meat and I don't have any money at all.
And I have my 4 step children coming tonight - so even if I could scrap a little something to eat together it wont be nearlt enough for 7 children.
We do get food stamps but only $100 a month and it wont come until the 16th. I am trying to sell anything and everything on craigslist in hopes to get some cash for food but so far nothing is selling.
My kids had gotten a wii a couple of christmas' ago, I'm trying to sell that, my sewing machine etc. but nothing is selling!
I don't want a hand out, but if you would like to buy something I have to sell then that would be a huge blessing!

I don't mind if I have nothing to eat - but how do I explain to my children? Yesterday was my daughter's 3rd birthday and not only did they not have anything good to eat but not even so much as a card!

Obviously, whatever I raise here will go straight to my college tuition. As you all may know college is expensive. I hate that you pretty much have to go IN debt with student loans and such, in order to better yourself so that you can get a nice career. It's all a fucked up system and unfortunately it's unavoidable.

Any contributions are very much appreciated- no matter if you send $1 or $100. I know the economy sucks and many people's finances are tight. Gas prices are reaching $5.00 and above. What kind of shit is that?! I predict a huge boom in bicycle sales this summer.

What I also predict is a lot of negative feedback about this. I am already anticipating getting spammed with hate emails. They'll probably sound similar to this: "Why don't you try going out and finding a job? What makes you think you deserve free handouts? YOU SUCK!" blah blah blah... go ahead and hit me with all of those punches. I won't blame you... I know how frustrating it can be to see someone get a little help while doing absolutely nothing while others are out there putting in concrete effort, struggling, making things happen. My response to all of that is, I love the internet. Do you know why I love the internet? Because anything goes. Make your own little chip in page. Do what I'm doing for yourself.

I know my goal of $10,000 is pretty out there but my rationale for this is that- there are billions of millions of thousands of hundreds of people in the world. If 10,000 people could manage to get to this page and donate just $1 each then boom, goal reached. We'll see...

My name is Ashley and i am the mother of two wonderful boys, and the wife of an amazing and hard working man. We have not been blessed financially or with good health. I am currently awaiting Social Security, as I recently had a life changing and dibilitating surgery on my right leg to repair an artery that never formed properly. The doctors tell me when the graft occludes the only other option is amputation. My son, who is 4 was born with a cleft lip and pallate. Both these condition require multiple doctors visits, and for my son multiple surgeries. These are all very fiancially draining. Especialy for us when we struggle already just to provided the necessities, and to keep the lights on. Any help would be a blessing and very much appreciated. Hi everyone. My name is Ashley and I'm 20 years old. The past few months, I have been struggling to juggle the demands of going to school full time and working full time just to hardly get by. I have also been battling numerous health issues, including a recent hospitalization without health insurance for a MRSA infection, and then later a severe allergic reaction to the medication. I became depressed and hardly able to get out of bed in the morning. I was forced to withdraw from school so that I could work more hours to be able to maintain my apartment and keep my car. I sold my television, laptop (I'm posting this from the public library), cell phone, bed frame and mattress, and the small bit of jewelry I had acquired as gifts from family over the years.

My depression got so bad and I felt so alone that I switched to a new medication. Because of my age, I ended up having adverse effects that left me worse off than I was before. I am perpetually behind and received a notice that if I don't pay $500 in a week, I will be evicted from my apartment. I have nowhere to go, and I can't think of anything worse. I've already had to give up school (at least for right now. I fully intend on continuing my education), but I cannot just give up my home.

Please, please help me. I am young, scared, and just trying to get by. They say young people are the future, but society makes it so hard for us to survive. I am begging for someone to understand.
