I'm India... I'm now a student & stay-at-home mom of 6 month old twins. I previously worked as a make-up artist, but due to overwhelmingly high daycare costs i've decided to stay home their first year. I also have a set of six year old twins. Before my 1st set was born I weighed 118 pounds, after weight after they were born stayed a steady 125. So, when I found out I was having a SECOND set I immediately wasn't worried one bit about it because I'd dropped all of the weight before. Well, unfortunately this time it wasn't so easy. The second set left my body a mess. Due to a c-section my doctor told me to not exercise for six weeks. As soon as I got home from the hospital I began dieting. Running twice a day & sit-ups EVERY morning & night. Well, it's been six MONTHS & my stomach is STILL flabby due to loose DEAD skin that will NEVER re-gain it's elasticity. So unless I get the surgery, i'll FOREVER have this pooch. My insurance doesn't cover, obviously because it's cosmetic & I just don't see plastic surgery being in my immediate future. I just want to feel good about myself & look great in my clothes again. For someone who's had a nice body ALL of her life, THIS is NOT ideal. I know this might be a LONG shot, but if you can... PLEASE help! I'll gladly send you pics, if needed.

Hi, my name is Steven I decided to quit my job and pursue my music full-time. I have the opportunity to move from Cleveland to Chicago, possibly work with some more experienced artist, and learn more about the business. I do have plans on getting a job but everything seems to be moving really slow. So what asking for here is about $600 so I'm not a complete burden on the people who are kind enough to let stay with them temporarily.

I have worked as a dog groomer for 15 years. The economy has been hard on the field (a lot of people are doing it themselves), and even though I supplement my income with private grooming, going to people's homes, I still make about $400.00 less a month than it takes to pay my minimal bills. I constantly borrow on my direct deposit advance. My 16 year old car needs more work than I can afford. Most of my private clients are elderly so I don't charge as much as most groomers would. I'm also a pet portrait artist and cannot afford the colored pencils and paper I need to draw. The company my boss uses for payroll accidentally put $2,000.00 extra into my account (I nearly fainted). I was honest and told my boss. The money was withdrawn and now I'm back to juggeling my bills. I need enough to buy a decent used car and pay my bills, buy new grooming tools and advertise my business. So tired of struggeling. Thank you.

I am disabled, and like most folks, unable to make ends meet. But I'm hopeful I can sell my art and get past the hard times. I make beautiful paper collage art on glass and have received much positive feedback from friends and family. The usual response when I show finished pieces to someone is, "Wow, those are beautiful...you should sell them!" So, that's what I want to do, but right now I need money to cover my living expenses for the month. I am confident I can sell art to supplement my disability check, but I need to get past crisis mode so I can focus on the tasks necessary to be successful. My home is my studio; I have some supplies to get started and a modest computer set-up to sell online. Can you please help an honest artist get a hand up by donating $1,000? honestly, I am just struggling to eat and pay my bills. I have only been able to find temporary work off and on in the last 5 months, noone seems to want to hire full time. Ive sold and pawned nearly anything i had that had somewhat value. I don't have a long story. Spent a long time in a womens shelter, moved out 5 months ago to rebuild my life and doing everything I can possibly think of to keep my head above water. I don't expect much, just thought I should give this a shot. I am also an artist who is having pretty much the worst luck. I try to sell as much as I can but yea, I'm sure you guessed things arent going so well at the moment.

I am an artist who has written a one woman show. I made this work to engage the church--particularly the African American Church, in a dialogue about homophobia. The work details the struggles of my best friend and brother, a black gay man, for acceptance in the religious community.

I believe the time is right for this dialogue and seek donations to mount a production of the work in my city and other cities.

I am a hungarian artist who is creating beautiful artworks from recyclable materials. I never throw away any newspapers, flyers, advertisement papers because I try to recycle all of that. I am creating wonderful objects, gifts and even sculptures from paper mache. This is a very versatile material, very strong and durable objects can be made from it. It is suitable not just for creating artworks, but even for creating everyday-use objects. Not to speak of that the use of recycled materials helps to save our environment.

My plan is that I am going to establish a workshop. I would like to make a living by working as an independent paper mache artist. But I need a little help for it. As a matter of fact my financial situation is not too good and I do not have enough money to start my own workshop. I have to rent a workshop space, I have to buy a lot of paints, lacquers and glues. So I need an initial push to start this project.

I am a stage 4 cancer patient (lymph nodes, liver, and lung) I have been receiving treatment for the last 14 months, and I am now completely out of money. I am divorced, I have 2 kids which my exwife has custody of. A few months ago I decided to go back to work, and that just is not working to the fullest. I cant make it a full day without getting so run down that i have to leave. I try and go every day, but realistically, i get about 20 hours in a week at a time, which is enough to cover my insurance copays.
The bills are piling up, the medicine is expensive.
Between my hospital stays, i also need the care for my son who has a disease called NF1 (Neurofibromitosis)IT is a neurological disorder that among his speech delay (he is 9) he is also required to take blood pressure medicine, and the risk of a heart attack in quite high.

I am an unemployed mother of a disabled 13 month old child. She has a very rare disease called methylmalonic acidemia, which has landed her in the hospital 16 times in her short life. Due to all of her hospitalizations, I was terminated from my job of almost 2 years. Now I am left with piling up bills and my utilities are going to be shut off soon if I do not get them paid. Hello to all the kind-hearted, generous Begslist Donors. I am here asking for help with my family crisis. I have been out of work for just over a year, with many, many unsuccessful applications. I am a single mother of a beautiful son. I am a visual artist with a Fine Arts degree. I hope to pursue post-graduate studies in the near future. I am a hard worker and am determined to find work. 4 weeks ago I broke my ankle and had to have surgery. I am recovering well, though it has been difficult. As a consequence of not working for a year, my financial situation is utterly dire. I am seriously behind in all my amenities bills with disconnection pending notices, and every 2nd week this past year, there is virtually no food in my fridge or pantry, which causes much distress and anxiety for my son and I. My washing machine is dying and I have no means to replace it. We are so worn down by this and my broken ankle was like the last straw! I m an 3D artist. I got admission in one of the most prestigious schools of USA. But unfortunately i dont have enough money to cover the tuition. I need 25000 USD to cover the tuition. I have worked since I was 14 years old. My father became terminally ill when I was 11. My mother left him for a scam artist who was out to destroy my family and nothing more. She had his child and he never gave her a cent. He took all we had including our house. My father stayed anyway and was always a good man. He was a hard worker too. Unfortunatly, I have had to sit back for years and years and watch this situation unfold. My parents are 3 bankruptcys in and now in serious limbo with the all mighty IRS. My dad in mid 60's still working his butt off. He is the hardest working, most delightful man you will ever know. Poor guy is in such distress now and you can see it all over his face. Makes my cry. My mom works along side him at his job helping in any way she can be in assistance.

After handing over their 100K retirement to my brother (starving artist) to get his career up and moving, they took a 30K hit from early withdrawl. The 30K on top of taxes previously owed has now increased to a 80K back tax owed to the IRS.

Well, they levied my dad's paycheck yesterday and took everything except $200!! How does anyone live on that? Their electricity bill is $500!

If i had any money to give them, i most absoultly would. They would do anything for my brothers, grandbabies and I. It stinks that i can;t financially float them til they come up with a agreement with the IRS.

Well, now i am at a point where I dont know what I can do for them. I have offered to help sell of some of their valubles to get them some fast cash but they really dont have much of any value.

So, this is a last ditch effort to see if anyone out their has soft place in their heart for 2 grandparents with big hearts but bigger problems!

I figured it's worth a try, right? Any amount could help them buy groceries or pay a bill. Anything!

My Story
This campaign is to help me achieve my goal of attending college at Ringling College of Art & Design.

I am an artist that loves to paint, digital paint, draw, and be creative. Since I was in elementary school I was interested in art. In high school I was in Art Honor Society, Business Professionals of the World, DECA, and Art Club. After high school my dream was to attend an art college for Game Art & Design. I applied to Ringling and got accepted which was the best thing that ever happened to me. So that I can better myself and become a professional in the Game Industry. Coming from a family that is low on funds it is hard for me to attend school and pay for supplies for each class. I apply for financial aid but I always have a huge gap left over that needs to be payed. I want to continue my studies at Ringling college and become something great so that I can help my family and be successful. Both my parents do not have good enough credit to take out huge loans for school which is why I am making this campaign to help me on my path to becoming a professional artist. Please help by donating anything you can. Even a dollar can help and it will add up!

I'm working two jobs right now, but I don't make nearly enough to pay our bills. I work as a math instructor and at a fast food restaurant. Once the fall semester starts, I will be making even less.

We have rent, student loans, and utilities to pay. In addition, I have over $1000 in medical bills due to an insurance goof that left me without insurance during a one evening stay in the ER.

A little bit more about us: I'm going to a small private liberal arts institution to get my B.S. in Biology and a license to teach middle and high school science. Teaching is my passion in life and I can't imagine doing anything else. My fiancee is an aspiring artist and writer. If we weren't struggling so much, he'd be able to self-publish his first book.
