I'm a single parent, who fleed from domestic violence- having to quickly store my furniture and children items in florida. I've been making payments up till now, I'm not currently working although I'm deligiantley looking. I have not make my payment of 165.00 per mth for april and may and now june is approaching quickly. Ny belongings are up for auction this 25th of May. I will make june payment if the prior are made or they will not accept it and the late fees will continue and of course i lose everything. I really need my furniture when things pull together for us, and losing them for 500.00 dollars hurts deeply. i have experienced a major loss of income and an increased living expense and have fallen behind on my bills so bad that i can not even dream of a future. i know what i need to do, i am determined to do it but i am unable to afford the cuurrent bills and find it difficult to even dream of fulfilling my plans for a secure future for myself and my children. my plan is to catch up on the current bills, get out of the car loan that i currently have and purchase a vehicle that has less expensive payments, repair my credit,my taxes and enroll in courses for real estate and/or bookkeeping. i have 2 children who have suffered and lost out on so much due to the finances, the job requirements and insecurity. i really need help to follow through and i promise to pay it forward when i am able. i will appreciate any help i can get and will keep all donors posted on the progress if they are interested. i have worked hard my whole life and have never caught a lucky break. unfortunately i have chosen a career that requires skills that i either do not have or that i am getting too old for. i have been in this business since i left home at 17 and have worked in every facet of the business but the job i am best at is for younger people and i am quickly approaching the age where i will no longer be able to comprete or will find employment less likely. i am looking for a better life. an easier life and the opportunities that i deserve but i am unable to obtain in my current situation, job and finances. please help me. i need approximatly $15-20000 but anything will help , be very appreciated and well invested. thank you

 I am a 32 yr old mother of 3 who has never been in a situation of desperation such as the one I am about to present to you.  Early last year I worked at a job which paid more than enough money to take care of me and my children.  The problem was that the hours were from 3p-3a, which gave me no time to spend with my kids.  My oldest which is of school age only seen me on tue & Wed, which were my only days off, the rest of her time was spent with my sitter.  My job also had me work holidays and sad to say their birthdays as well.  Soon my daughters grades began to drop and my young children no longer wanted to spend time with me.  They cried for the babysitter and soon started calling me by my first name.  I went to my job and pleaded with them for a schedule change, they declined stating that my personal life wasnt their problem and they have 1000's of people who would love to take my place.  So I was forced to make a decision between money and my kids, I chose my kids.  I quit my job after saving enough money to pay the bills for a couple of months while I search for a job with earlier hours.  I felt this shouldn't be a problem due my previous work experience and my associates degree.  The 3 months I had given my self passed by very quickly without me finding new employment.  Because tax time was approaching and my lease was almost up I decided to use my tax money to find a much cheaper home (unfortunately in a much less appealing neighborhood) and use the rest of the money to pay for rent and utilities for another 3 months.  I have no family who can help me out and my kids father is nowhere around.  I have yet to find employment despite the many interviews and applications I have done.  A truck recently cracked the windshield on my car, my tires are bald, and the engine is going bad.  I cannot afford to fix these things and am now desperate to find a job before I lose my transportation. I would love for a great job lead or even an agency which can help me. A small donation would also help and if you send me your email address, as soon as I get on my feet I am willing to pay it back. Hi. My Name is Robert. I am a 28 year old male who has recently moved to a new state in search of a better life. I have not had the best of luck with jobs. The job lined up for me fell through, and I began working temp jobs to make ends meet. I was staying with family and was out of work from Thanksgiving to New Years. I found a new job in mid January and then was asked to move out of my families house on February 1st. I am doing all that I can (working 70 hours a week) but unfortunately it isn't enough. I am late on rent and need $825 to cover March and April. I am also past due on car payments and approaching 60 days late. I am needing $550 for that. I have tried applying for loans and continue to be denied. I am also stuck in the payday loan cycle and am paying interest every two weeks to refinance. With just $3,000.00 total I will be able to get caught up and take the training courses I need for my job to increase my salary and be able to continue to pay bills in a timely manner.

I know there are others here who need help more than I, I just am at my wits end with phone calls and letters demanding payment. I have considered sleeping in my car just to make the payment. I do not have anyone in my family who can help and I am not an irresponsible kid living beyond my means. I am currently sleeping in an empty bedroom on an air mattress and going hungry 2-3 days a week just to pay what I can.

I humbly ask anyone out there who can help me please do. Once on my feet, I have every intention to give back to others. Anything helps. God Bless.

It's killing me to do this but my fiance and I are in debt and out of money.

With the wedding fast approaching we are realizing that we will not have enough money by the day to take our honeymoon or even to finish paying off all of our vendors.

He studies full time and i've been working multiple jobs to support us for years, but it seems to have finally caved in.

Desperate can't describe how badly I need just a small helping hand! I have nowhere else to turn to. Life has really taken a toll on me and I am slowly sinking deeper into depression that I just can't shake.

Hello, I have never done this but I really need help right now. I am a mother of 4 great boys. I have been in school for 5 years now studying mechanical engineering and will graduate on Dec. 17th. I have been blessed to have assistance (Food Stamps, Medicaid, Section 8) while reaching my goal. But just recently my section 8 has rolled over and I missed the dead line. (All my fault I had two exams the day the lady wanted me to come in and I couldn’t make it.) So now I have paid 1/3 ($250)of my November’s rent (working home football games for the university) and December is approaching. I have a Job as an ME and I start January 1st (thank the lord) but I really need help paying my rent to hold us over till then. If you could help in any way possible I would be so thankful and if you are unable to give please keep my family and I in your prayers.

I am a single mother of two children and as the holidays are approaching my bills are getting the best of me. My rent is due on the 1st of November and I need $650.00. I am currently unemployed but I am actively looking for work. Things are just really hard for us right now, if I didn't get food stamps we wouldn't have money for food so thank God for that. I am a single father of a 5 year old daughter. I lost my job six months ago and have since found part-time work. I am falling behind on my bills and have been cutting corners just to get by. The problem is that there are no more corners left to cut. Over the Summer I had the gas shut off, leaving us with no stove. I cook on the grill for now, but I live in Minnesota and the Winters are cold. I will need to turn the heat back on soon as Winter will be approaching and without gas, we have no heat. My brother is getting married 8,500 miles away this December. My husband, my son and I would love to attend, but we can't save fast enough.

Four years ago, my husband married me even though I was in crushing debt. He's never been in debt -- ever. He took on my liabilities, made them ours. He is helping me dig myself out of that hole. Then he lost his job teaching art in the public school system -- in this economy, these are the jobs that are being cut, and no one's hiring. For someone who's always worked, being un/underemployed just sucks. So we moved in with his mother, just so we had a fighting chance. I do have a job, and he was able to find a part-time job, but we can't support ourselves fully, pay off our debt, and still save fast enough in time for the wedding. We do our best, we have never been extravagant. We were this close to finally climbing out of this hole ... but then, last month, we got hit with this ruthless dental bill.

To make matters worse, my husband and his mother are making each other crazy, and she has given us an ultimatum to get out of her house -- March 2012.

In the meantime, my brother's wedding is fast approaching. We can't afford to attend AND move out if we are still in debt when we get on that plane. Not without your help.

We've tried to do things right -- take personal responsibility, pay off our debt, not take on more, raise our kid ourselves ... but there seems to be some conspiracy against allowing us to get our heads above water. I have never been debt-free in all of my adult life, and I have never begged either.

But it is time. For both.

The airfare is about $1,500 apiece. That's $4500 for the three of us. On Coach. It's not much, but it's more than we can scrape together by December. The balance on my credit cards is down from thirty grand to $4,000. Only with God's grace, my husband's big heart and my commitment to my husband and son have I managed to bring it down that much! But we still need to get rid of it before we can move out.

Anything we receive over $8500 will go towards getting out of my MIL's house. My husband needs a break, and she deserves her house back.

I am at my wit's end. I was laid off two years ago and have not been able to find a job for two years, from which at he same time i also was dealing with ending a failing and physically/mentally abusive marriage needless to say he does not even acknowledge the fact that he has children who are suffering financially, so with no help from my ex husband, i have no friends and family who is willing to financially help or support me in this terrible time in my life and i am a single mother with eight children who range in ages 16yrs- 3yrs I humbly beg whom ever can help me keep my utilites on; which i have recieved notices for interruption and discontinuance as soon as next week; Please help to feed and clothe my family, I have birthday's back to back, the holiday's approaching and i have nothing to give them, I feel alone and like such a failure, i can't seem to stop crying and even considering immoral options in order to make ends meet for my kid's, they didn't ask to be in such an unfair situation. I've never done anything like this & don't intend to make anyone feel sorry for me. Thankfully I have a job but it just seems like I am sinking more & more everyday. I raised my child on my own--and being a single mother I was eligible for public assistance but chose to work 2 jobs instead of depending on that option. My child is now grown, has scruples, a growing family & is a honest contributing citizen in our society.
Now I have a medical condition & finally got my hospital bills paid but even with insurance, a big chunk of each paycheck goes towards medication. I am fighting my heart condition with all my might so I have changed my diet which increases the grocery bill.
I have an opportunity to buy a house for $20,000--doesn't need a lot of work & I can work on the few things that need to be done even with my heart problem. Owner said he will hold it for me for a couple of months because he knows how hard i'm struggling. He has bought another house & the 1 he is selling has been vacant for 5 yrs. Like everyone else, he has felt the pinch & wants to get out from underneath it. Best thing about the house is it is in a neighborhood where an older single woman can feel safe.
If you can donate you will be helping more than me--you will help someone else from having to struggle to keep that house, help a woman fast approaching retirement age & also everyone that pays taxes by helping me having a home & not having to resort to public assistance.
