Post a Beg Now!

$5 - I cannot afford to drive to work tomorrow.

Posted by Jameson90 on 2012-05-21 19:58:56

I'm on bended knee asking for a very small sum of money, $5.00. I work as a produce assistant at a grocery store. I drive an older car with terrible gas mileage.

I'm in need $5.00 so I can buy enough gas to get to work in the morning. Once I'm there, I can pick up my pay and buy gas for the ride home.

I would be so appreciative if someone could just provide me with a few dollars to put gas in my car.

This is my last chance, if I'm unable to show to work again, I will lose my job. I've never missed work for any reason other than not having the funds for gasoline.

Anything you can spare will be forever remembered and I will pay it forward.

Thank You,

-Jameson

Can someone please help?

Hello,

I am in hopes that I can find some assistance in paying my rent for the month of June. I am a single father of 3 children currently going though a divorce. I work 50-60 hours a week to try and keep up on the bills. However, our van broke down two weeks ago and I am still recovering financially from the cost of repairs which was over $1300.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciative. My rent is $689/mo. I will have a total of $165 and still need $524.

Thanks

help with family of special needs kid

Posted by specialneedsmom on 2012-05-16 16:58:00

Hi I am a mom of 3 children, 1 a special needs child. I work as a nurse assistant but it only covers about half of our needs. I work hard and do my best every day and try to keep a smile and a good attitude but sometimes your best just isn't good enough. My special needs baby is 8 years old and is speech impaired, deaf in one ear, severely asthmatic, and has ADHD. Medicaid pays for most of the meds and specialists but not all. I pay for some of his meds and specialists and then there's the gas to go to and from. All in all I'm spending about $800 per month that medicaid is refusing. I haven't been able to get an answer why as of yet. I've applied for social security for him but have been denied twice and now am awaiting a hearing which I am told could be anywhere between 18 and 21 months just to get a hearing date. I only make about $1500 per month so simple things like even a trip to the laundromat is a challenge. Apart from my son's problems I also have 2 baby girls aged 9 and 6 to take care of. Thanks be to God they are healthy. All of my family has passed away due to various forms of cancer so it's just my children and my husband and self. He is out of a job presently and has been seeking work since being laid off from his last job (about 7 months). I have applied for a pell grant and registered for LPN classes at the local community college to try to help myself but it will take about 15 months to finish school let alone get a job. I've managed to pay rent but am 2 months behind on the internet bill (used for school) am 5 months behind in car payments and am at risk of a repo any day. If I lose my car then how am I going to be able to go to work, school, take the kids to school, take the kids to the doctor, grocery shop, do laundry, or anything else? I currently do not have auto insurance because I can't afford it.(was cancelled for nonpayment 2 days ago.) I managed to pay my water and cell(about $100) to keep that going. I am almost a month behind on my electricity but have managed to keep it going by paying about half the bill per month. As of now, I have a balance of $150. I don't know what to do. If anyone would please help us I would be forever grateful and appreciative.

Embarrassed to ask, I want to take my kids on a holiday

Hello, my name is James, im 26 have 3 children, and working hard to get no where in this economy, Paying the bills and everything else leaves my family with a little money to spend at the end of the week, unfortunatly not enough to take us away on a holiday.
My children have not left the state and i myself have not been on a holiday for a decent 8 years, my 8 year old son would like to go to the gold coast so that is our ambition, but just finding it hard to keep the funds there, as it is we save up and than an unexpected bill comes in and half of it is gone, I guess im asking if anyone out there could please make a donation to help me take my kids and myself on a holiday.
many thanks in advance if you can, our family would be greatly appreciative, even if it were a dollar...

Thanks again

I just want to go home...

Posted by AlwaysQuestions on 2012-04-24 10:58:36

I recently had to move away from my fiancee as I was unable to find work where we were living. I have not been home in almost 6 months. The only job I've been able to find while living in another state is minimum wage, and I've been working long hours and not making enough to even save 100 dollars a month... I typically make just enough for gas and a little food.

If I am not able to save even just a little money, I don't know if I'll be able to see him again. I'll be stuck here. In a dead end job that won't allow me to ever save enough to finally go home.

I just want to go home... even just for a visit... If anyone can help even a little, I'd be very appreciative. Thank you for reading my post... And thank you if you choose to donate... I hope I can repay the kindness to another someday when I am solidly on my feet.

I am a 50 year old man.I take care of my mom as to shes been a tempamental diabetic since she was 31.She also has severe neropathy. After my fiancee had paseed away in 2004,I was left to sell our house and to start a business so I take care of my mom and work. The idea I had was to do lawn care,painting-interior and exterior homes, haul unwanted items to the dump for customers I acquired from my business I started after selling my house.I was able to persue my dream business in LawnCare ,and was able to provide my mom with the assitence she needed. Since 2006 I have saved her life more times than I have fingers and toes. This job is also conveinent because if my mom or someone calls me with an medical or any kind of accident emergency I can leave my job to help, return to finish it after I am done.My customers are aware of that precedure since I informed them when I acquired them as customers.Since 2006 when I started my business and purchashed all my equipment needed for the lawn care business, some of the important pieces of equipment had stopped working such as my lawn tractor and weed eater. I still have my pick-up truck and trailer, blower, hedge trimmers, and push lawn mower.I am behind on my property tax due to not being able to work as well.I still have all my customer contacts and willing to get more when I can advertise again, but I'm sure I have lost some since I have'nt been able to work.I hope someone can help me get back on my feet I will be much appreciative to them as I will offer you free service due from my greatfulness ! Thanks for your time and have a blessed day ! John

Bed to Sleep In

Posted by HelpingOthers on 2012-03-23 02:58:11

I'm helping a friend who is overcoming agoraphobia. I recently helped move him to a home where he can live with supportive people who are getting him the proper medical care, and slowly getting him back on his feet. Our problem is...he has no bed. He is so very appreciative of all of our help, but truly I cannot afford to buy him one. He is sleeping on the floor on a comforter now, and waking up stiff and sore. He'll be starting work soon, and needs good sleep! I'm a single mom raising two boys, so my only to help at this point...is to find resources. Please help! We'll seek out a used bed or Futon on Craigslist or thrift stores, just to get him off of the floor!

Need donations to help my disabled mother

Posted by wallygt on 2012-03-07 14:58:35

Hello, my mother suffers from mental illness and also has stage three kidney disease. She is on Disability and I help take care of her. She receives a small amount of money from her disability check for daily needs.

I currently help clean her, administer her meds, go to appointments with her. I would like a donation of $500 to help pay for groceries, clothing, help with her bills. after her rent and bills are paid she doesn't have much left over for groceries and daily necessities.

This amount would help very much, but any donation is very appreciative. Thank you very much.

Promising PhD student & Mom- almost done!

Posted by peace24 on 2012-03-05 12:58:08

Dear Good Samaritan,
I am a single mother and I'm currently a PhD student. I am *so* close to finishing my dissertation...I need about 8-12 months to finish writing. I am seeking people to sponsor through any amount of dollars, this last year of tuition.
Even though I’ve always been a very hard worker, volunteer, loyal employee and dedicated student, my life circumstances have changed dramatically now that I am a single mother and I fear I will not be able to finish school. I *know* that if I could be sponsored to pay this last year’s tuition and help with my bills I would be able to successfully defend my thesis, apply for a job and become an ever-contributing member of society through helping to educate our future generation. I want to teach.
If you are in a position to help me get this PhD, I would be most appreciative, and I will undoubtedly “pay it forward” to others once I get back on my feet. Even if it's only a couple dollars, you will have my sincerest gratitude. Anything you can help me with, big or small will be so appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Best wishes to all.

HELP!!!!!!

I am a single mother of 4 girls ages 3,9,12,14. We moved from a city where I had a job & a great church family to a place I know no 1. All becuase my husband lied & said he had a great job. I was denied unemployment benefits cause he lied about the job. I was offered a job (Im an LPN) @ the VA but they need my transcripts which I cant get cause I got behind and now owe the school 1800. I've applied at other places and they all want my transcripts which i cannot get without paying off my school. If you can help I can give you copies of the letters from my work and school to verify my story. I would even be appreciative if you could pay the school itself! If I dont get the school paid off I will lose the job opportunity and will be thrown out of my house by the end of March.

Please if you can help me I would really appreciate it. I am even willing to accept a loan from someone and I would be willing to sign a contract for repayment, I am not looking for a handout but just someone who is willing to help me and my 4 girls. They have no idea how bad things are and Im not sure how much longer I can hold out. I wished i never moved from my church and my family. I am so alone now.

University fees & house repairs

Posted by student_in_need on 2012-03-02 08:58:32

Hello. I am a 2nd year student, although this is now my third year at university. The reason for this is that I live with my mum, and she was going through some major finance troubles. I stopped studying for a while and started working full time to help with bills. Things are still hard, but at least we are not at risk of losing the house anymore! I am returning to University, and had planned my finances as I am working part time to pay for my studies. However, with so many bills, a hole, yes a hole, in the floor of my kitchen (the fault of my sister who overloaded the fridge plug, and caused the freezer to melt), medical bills, a broken car (again), and the ever growing cost of living, I have only saved $600 of the required $2700 needed for my fees to be paid by the end of the month. On top of this, the hole is required to be fixed immediately ,as the longer it’s not fixed, the more the rotting will spread further, therefore needing a bigger job to fix it. This has a quote of $4000 - mind you that is just one quote; I have heard it's a couple of thousand depending on how big the area is (from 3-4 thousand), but he said because it has effected such a large area, that they need to cut out beyond the floor boards to ensure the rot is gone. I have never done this before, so I am a little ashamed to say the least that it has come to asking complete strangers for help. I have really tried to save for as long as possible, but things keep coming up that have cause me to only save a portion of what is needed. However they need to be paid so quickly that I am asking for help to get the $6100 so I can pay them before deadlines/further damage. If anybody has any means of helping I would be so very appreciative; I really am almost in tears at this moment to even think that somebody could be so kind and generous to even consider helping me, like winning the lottery. It would be so amazing if anybody could help. I want to continue to express my gratitude, but I think I would run out of words! Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a nice day.

Could really use some extra money

Posted by helpchloe on 2012-02-29 18:58:04

I don't have a sob story to tell, just could really use some extra money. I'm trying to improve myself in a few ways and everything (school, fitness training - to name two) costs $$$. So if you have a dollar (or a few) to share with me I would be very grateful and appreciative beyond words. If you donate and like banana bread, I'd be happy to email you my favorite recipe as a thank you!

starting school again

Posted by sadirablue on 2012-02-29 05:58:36

I dropped out of school in '03 went back to a technical school in '09 where I got on the Dean's list with a 4.0 GPA in pharmacy but now I want to take it a step further and go back to the University of Texas and get a pharmacist doctorate. The thing is I have a past school bill I didn't even know existed! I thought I had paid it off but it was so long ago I can't remember. So it's $773 and if I can get small contributions towards that and to start off my new school year I'd be completely appreciative forever! Plus I'm paying off my technical school loan myself which is making things hard. Thanks for listening :-)

In need of a vehicle

Posted by panic92 on 2012-02-11 22:58:22

I'm 20 years old, and I live in Oklahoma. I moved here for college in 2010, but was only able to complete a year before financial difficulties forced me to take a break. I decided to stay and get a full-time job at a fast food restaurant, hoping that eventually I would be able to find the resources to get back into school. I love my job and it pays my bills and keeps a roof over my head, but I am in dire need of a vehicle. I walk 3 miles to work every day and 3 miles back, finding transportation only a small percentage of the time. Not only that, I'm not able to see most of my family, and I haven't seen a majority of them in nearing TWO years, including my grandmother, who we aren't expecting to make it much longer. I wish I had the resources to save up for a vehicle, but I use up all of my paycheck on bills and living in general, and it seems like I'm just stuck here forever. I would be greatly appreciative of any kind of help, thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hello,
I am disabled due to a neurological condition and unable to work since March of 2011. I have drained my bank account paying medical bills.
My son is graduating from Army boot camp in March. I need financial help to get there. He will be deployed immediately after graduation. I need to travel about 800 miles from Northern Ohio to Fort Benning, GA and return trip home. My son's goal is to be an airborne ranger and I am very proud of him for unselfishly serving his country! Thank you for any help you can donate. I am very greatful and very much appreciative.

I am working 2 jobs and getting a third. I am 3 months behind in my rent and have borrowed as much as I can from what little friends I have, due to working ridiculous hours to be home for my children. My rent is 895 a month. so that would be 2685 I am behind.I would be so appreciative if you would help me and my kids out by helping us keep a roof over our heads. Thanks in advance. Anything helps.

In Need Of A Guardian Angel!

Posted by NeedGuardianAngel on 2011-12-11 23:58:31

I am in need of a Guardian Angel. I am asking for help. I am in need of financial assistance.
In May 2011, I had a job loss. This was a devastating blow to me, my self-worth, my life was now turned upside down.
So why do I need a Guardian Angel you ask?
Unexpected finances. I have been served with divorce papers, fuel gauge has gone out in my truck, and partial rent for this month of December 2011. I also dealt with vandalism to my truck. In November, I had to go to the doctor for depression because I had an anxiety attack and fell into a depression.
With Christmas around the corner, it is hard to talk to family and telling them what I want or what they want, because I really don’t have the money. Sometimes, I just ignore the phone and work up the courage to speak with them. This Christmas I have no decorations up at home. I tend to avoid the malls, stores, and shopping areas, just so I won’t be remind that it is the Christmas Season.
This is my last resort. Typing this letter and asking help, real help, from people like yourselves that want to lend a helping hand to a person, who is experiencing financial difficulties and really make a difference in someone else’s life. With divorce, job loss, truck problems, rent past due and Christmas around the corner, it has really taken its’ financial stress on me.
I need $3500. $2500 for an Attorney (Retaining fee), $475 for truck repair, and $525 for rent.
As I said before, I need a Guardian Angel right now to help me through this tough time in my life. I am very much appreciative for you taking your time to read this and to help someone like me.
Thank you for being my Guardian Angel this year. Words will not be able to express how I truly feel in saying THANK YOU!

I'm in a lot of pain.

Just trying to work up enough money to see my doctor.

I have a spinal disease that causes my spine to twist in on itself. It is very painful and disabling. I have been without my medicine all day and it is looking like I have a long road ahead of my until I can make the kind of money needed to get to pain management.

I am trying to work up the $500 needed to see the PM doctor so I can get relief from this pain. I am scared of what the next few days will bring without any kind of pain meds. Thus I am willing to try anything at this point.

I have been out of work for over 3 years dealing with this condition, I was hoping that it would improve with bracing, medicine, and therapy--however it continues to twist further. I am in serious need of help to get to the doctor, so if anyone would like to help me out, I would be more than appreciative.

Thanks.

My Partner and I

We are a gay male couple. If you find this wrong, offensive, or anything else, please just find another listing on this website.

I will now go on. My partner has full-blown AIDS. I have watched his health decline severely over the years. It is quite heartbreaking. His last CD-4 count was 146, but luckily still with an undetectable viral load. My partner was a maintenance technician for apartment complexes for years and I have consistently been in the hospitality industry.

At this time, we are now trying to make it on my 40-hour per week front desk job which pays a whopping $8.00 per hour.

I ask for anyone's help. Please visit our blog, which I do the majority of the posting there. Again, any assistance will be appreciative.
