I've been battling a mysterious illness for over a year. I can't keep food down. I've had a boat load of tests, ultrasounds, endoscopies and blood work and everything came back normal. All I have now are a ton of medical bills and no answers. To make things worse I'm generally able to work a lot of overtime at work. Ever since this illness set in I'm lucky if I can make through my entire shift. Please help me. I will be forever grateful.

I was laid off from my job a couple years ago in that time frame I was collecting unemployment and return back to school. In the midst of everything I separated from my live in boyfriend at the time and found myself in a jam. I seek help frm social service for housing and everything was going according to plan, I found a location who agreed to take me in with state assistance rent. I moved in with the landlord permission and assumption that she would be paid accordingly;however, because I was finally blesse with a reliable job the state ended up not persuing what was said and never paid the landlord... When the landlord advise me of this I immediately seeked answers. Social service said basically I have a job. Could pay and so I did, Ive paid my rent every month but now landlord wants to evict me for the amount owed from social service I've done everything possible to work something out with the landlord and nothing. I have no place to go and I am a single mother and can't afford in one sum what the landlord is seeking, Im asking for any financial assistance, donation ANYTHING to come up with the amount of $3,500 ASAP... Wow , Where do I start? Okay, first of all I was collecting unemployment after being laid off. Anyway apparently this quarter does not have enough in it because last year I was out of work for eight weeks following a major surgery. That's what lowered my quarter fro unemployment. I live in a rural area in Wisconsin and I have gone everywhere for help. All of the churches(which won't help), Human services which only helped with food stamps after making me wait over a month. I had to feed my kids from the food pantries which I am grateful for but they have limited items. My utilities and rent and car are all at risk right now. If I don't have a car I can't continue my job search as there is no public transportation.
To further make everything unbearable my youngest brother passed away on November 1st and we have no answers to his death. I just need someone willing to help me get back on my feet. I have taken the only job I could find for now. The pay is terrible and it's only part-time but I thought it would be easier to get a job if I were working. The pay won't cover my rent and utilities and car. I just need a break, Please help!! Please

My problems started when I was hurt at work. I did not get paid for the time I was out until 3 years later. By that time, creditors had started levying my account and then I got behind in my mortgage. I have worked since I was 13 and never imagined I would ever been in this situation. I then got laid off from the same job in October, I have applied to the government programs for help but so far no answers. I am desperate, I sit everyday and fear I will be thrown out, and I fight off suicide everyday. Please if any one has a heart, please help me. I am an honest, hard working person that has fallen on incredibly hard times.

I want to start something special. I want to start a "pay it forward" kind of collaborative for homeowners that are in trouble. I lost my home 3 years ago and have been saving homes ever since. I have worked to shady loan mod companies but now work for a great law firm stopping sale dates and negotiating with lenders all day. I love it. I would like to begin with a website and blog with real life experiences and answers. I would also process loan modifications and apply for principle reductions, negotiate with lenders, stop sale dates for a small sliding scale fee. Before I will begin my letter I will first introduce myself. My name is Mike, I am 16 years old and from the Netherlands, if you are a millionaire or just someone that can afford it to give away money I encourage you to continue reading. I know it already sounds it will be like a ''begging letter''. And yes it kinda will be like that. There are people that will need money more than I am, but I am bold enough to ask for it. I would like to have a starting capital, so I don't have to work that hard anymore to achieve things. Life is just about working hard so after some time if you have saved some money you can do or buy that one thing you would like to have. But unfortunately you can't because there are to many rules in the way and don't forget about the money you will need to do this. My mother schedule dates at a rating agency, she is working 3 days a week, to sustain us and do the payments for the house. 99%? What about the 49%?

I do not believe I have any dedicated followers to this blog that I started about a week ago. I have added to the end of my blogs a donate button and I feel I need to justify the decision to do so. That is what this blog is about, and it probably should have been my first post.

It seems like there are three groups of people in America.

There is the rich. They get tax breaks simply for being rich. The philosophy is that if they spend less on taxes then they will invest it into production and buying stuff and it will “trickle down.” I am all for it if it works. But it doesn’t. They have had their tax breaks for about ten years and there isn’t anything trickling down my way.

Then there is the very poor. They claim to be incapable of working 40 hours a week because of mental or physical issues. They don’t get up very early in the morning, they don’t worry about the way they look. They collect social security, food stamps, unemployment and whatever else they can get for free. I know there are some people that legitimately can not work but I think there are a great deal of people that can and choose not to.

Instead of the 99% movement lets start a 49% movement.1% is uber-wealthy. About 50% pay no taxes and/or are a drain on our society. So that leaves 49%. I am the 49 percent and that fucking sucks! We can’t get ahead and we can’t get a hand.

Let me tell you a little more about myself. I work 60+ hours as a salesperson, which is non-commission based position. There are some things we can sell and if we sell it at a certain margin we can get a “spiff.” Unfortunately I sell building materials and not a lot of people are building right now. Also the the things that you can get a spiff on are high-end items that are difficult to sell in a good economy. I still try like hell though. In the interest of getting as many hours as possible there is no job I will not do or that is too menial. I will sell, I will work out in the yard and drive a forklift, do deliveries, stack lumber, shovel snow, sweep, empty trash, stock shelves, answer the phone,work the register or anything else that will keep me from getting sent home or laid off.

I started this blog about a week ago. I was looking for another way to make money doing something I enjoyed in my “spare” time. As well as working 60 hours a week I am also a divorced dad that takes his kids every weekend. So there isn’t a whole lot of time for a second job. I looked into the Ebay thing and realized I really don’t have anything left to sell.

Also looked into doing surveys. On average you can get a dollar for each 45-60 minute survey you take. I still do this occasionally. If I have time and can find a few that I feel are worth my time. Any little amount helps.

I thought I might eventually be able to monetize this blog by putting up enough content to get advertisers interested. It will probably take several months and a lot of writing before this might be possible. Until then I will keep the donate button on here.

My point here is that I started looking for a way to get my head back above water a week ago and things have gotten far worse since then. I went to the grocery store yesterday and in my estimation prices have gone up close to 25% on most of the things I buy. In a week!

And the price of gas....

My job is about a 25 minute commute from where I live. There is no public transportation where I live and I do not think a 25 minute commute is unreasonable. But even with a car that gets 28 miles to the gallon and gas prices being what they are it is a huge strain on the wallet. They are talking about the price of gas going up twenty cents over one weekend! I topped off yesterday in the hopes of saving two bucks.


I don’t have the answers but it seems like this system of government and politics doesn’t work. We elect a Republican for 4-8 years and when they fail to fix everything we elect a Democrat. They don’t make our problems go away either and in another 4-8 years we try another Republican and so on. Its like having two cartons of milk in the refrigerator. You take a sip of one carton and its sour, you take a sip from the other carton and it is sour too. So you try the first carton again. What? It’s still sour? Weird. Maybe we should try the second carton again....

Come on people! Can’t we get together? We need to throw out the rotten fucking milk, get off our dead asses and get down to the store and buy some fresh fucking milk!

I was already falling behind. Then it only took one small medical emergency and one car repair to put me even further in the hole. Between money I had to put up for office visits, medical procedures that had to be done, car repairs, and lost time at work it cost me over a thousand dollars that I did not have to spend. Now I am possibly facing eviction.

And I know there are people out there that need the money far more than I do. I don’t have cancer, my kids do not need a life-saving medical procedure and I am not living on the streets yet. All I am asking is that if you understand where I am coming from and you like what I have to say help me out and donate a couple of bucks. I am not asking you to “give until it hurts,” and if you don’t have it to give then I don’t want it.

If you can’t help me out by donating money, then help me out by sounding off in the comments and telling me how I can make this blog better or what I should do different. I openly welcome harsh criticism and all opposing viewpoints.

I am not looking for millions of dollars, thousands of dollars or even hundreds of dollars. I would be very happy with tens of dollars. Ten bucks accumulated over a week from several people would be a huge shot in the arm right now. If I made an extra ten bucks from donations it would buy me enough gas to get back and forth to work for two days. Or it would cover the rising cost of my grocery bill. Right now that would be huge.

Give what you can. Every penny counts. Or offer your suggestions or both. Donate some obscure amount and put that same amount in the comments or send me an email telling me the obscure amount you donated and I will reply personally to those comments and emails. I have a strong faith in God and have been praying for some answers to my circumstances. If you could find it in your heart to help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Any amount will do that would help ease our current pressing financial need and the rest will go toward relieving our overall debt and start the savings needed for the medical treatment that will save my life and offer our entire family a new life.

I'm a 31 year old male, oh and my 4 year old kitty. Life has not been easy but I always did my best to keep moving forward. From dealing with childhood abuse to climbing the corporate/social latter and falling.. I've always tried to "handle it" and do everything the right way, all on my own and helping everyone I could in anyway I could along the way.

I've worked very hard and instead of being out there in the world stealing or making babies I can't afford I got a good job, car, and bought my first home at age 20. I'm the kinda friend you know has his own issues and he don't wanna bum you out with them but you can say "Hey James, I can't make my rent, can I borrow this.." or "James my house burned down can I come live wit you?" or "my boyfriend is about to be deported can you buy his old car so we can afford the lawyers?" and my answers are as follows; How much you need?, how long Can you stay + here's $2000 come buy a co-op in my building I'll put in a good word for you, and will it pass inspection?? All this before I was even 25 and these people were older than me! Grown men coming up to my desk at work tell me "I'm hungry" or even just a simple "Feed me" while perched atop my cubicle like a starving pigeon and we'd laugh and joke and sure enough I would buy or bring in something good to eat. I'm the kind of friend that for your birthday from me your most likely to get something we saw in a store window months ago, just to surprise you and make you happy cause it was meaningful to you. Also very kind to those I don't know who seem to be in need, even when we didn't speak the same language, they were drunk and I didn't know if I was walking into trouble.

Somewhere between then and now my life has turned completely upside down. The weight of what I had previously survived (praise God) and what I am now going through don't balance anymore. I lost that home and car and job due to a disability and even though by now you must think me a generally upbeat, diligent, resourceful, praise his name in wrong or right soul I'm lost and I need to rebuild. My entire support system was slowly picked off by my family and close friends life circumstances. I hate telling people how it all happened because to me it sounds like I'm saying I'm cursed and horrible things just keep happening to me. I accept my responsibility for my end and do self checks constantly. Even when thrown into situations far beyond my years, or no one should expect and try to deal with careful thought, civility and grace.

The one last thing I had to hold on to, that was keeping me strong and helping me grow as a person was the love I thought I had but apparently I did not. Lying, fear, cheating, HIV, emotional abuse, sneakiness, poverty, hurt, uncertainty, finding out the person who was the love of your life gave him HIV on purpose but still didn't want him!, cancer and treatments, severely persistent and mental illnesses, self-centeredness, the loss of friends and family acting shady and all that was just my relationship with my EX! So of course me being me for the most part stowed my problems.. "as usual" even if it left me in a bad spot financially, emotionally or physically and I was there! Loving and Supportive even after I was almost attacked. It's a fine line between being a damn fool and doing the right thing, I know but now I'm all on my own. I'm on medicare but the co-pays and deductible are killing me, I can't stay where I am, I'm fat, unhappy and depressed but still thanking God for all the blessing, some time's I feel like asking for more would be an exercise in futility But I'm here. I recently learned that it's ok for me to ask for help. What I'm begging for is to please, please, say a prayer for one another and me! be good to one another and if you could please help me reach my $2,000 goal to a new begining of self sufficiency so I can stop being a broken person and go back to helping others, me and kitty would be forever in your debt and pray for you as well. My home is turning two months behind as of the Dec.1.and they tell me payment needs to be made on one of the monthes before dec.10. I work a full time job and hold insurance for my children. I provide them with food but things are so bad I sold about everything I have to pay for my vehicle,and kids lunches,and exterminator. I can not sell the vehicle because I do not live on a bus line and the kids are in cardio club,and basketball.(Which the car payment is behind one month.) I have nothing for my children for christmas and keep on praying for a miricale but no answers yet. I recently went through a bed bug problem in my daughters room, that I think it came from school. I pay for childcare while I'm at my fulltime job and cant afford to get a part time job because daycare prices are so high and a pt job only pays so little. My heat is shut off and I am heating a house that is only 10 yrs old with a cerosian heater because I don't have the 278. to pay the old bill. This stinks. Please help me figure something out. I have an elementary school, middle school and a high schooler that is to young to get a job still.I feel like throwing my hands in the air and saying just take my kids to a warm home and put me in jail. I feel like I have let my children down. I am a devoted mother and super hard worker. ( Receiving Clerk) I have never been so low in my 38 years of life. Yes hundred dollar differnce but I have 10 years invested in the home. I know things will get easier if I could just get caught up. Anything will be apprecaited.

Starting at the beginning is going to be tough since I really don't know where all of my troubles started, but I am pretty sure it started when the company went bad. Here is what I do know. I can't find a good paying, full time job to save myself. Literally.

A little about me. I have three kids at home. They are all in school. I work part-time in Jax Beach at a well known world wide retailer. I make $7.75 and hour and work around 20 hours a week. I have two college degrees and I am taking classes in accounting because I can't find work in my field. Most of the temp agencies told me if I knew Quick Books and bookkeeping the would have a job for me. Now that I know QB and learning bookkeeping they have no job. I have been on two interviews with the same company in the last month with a "we will hire you, but not right now." My husband is working out of town, so we have to maintain two house holds.He sends what he can. We are both working. We Are Trying.

My family has had a ruff couple of years!!..in September 2008 a tree fell on
our rental house and we lost everything all while my wife was 6 months
pregnant two years later while still rebuilding our lives we lost our second
house to fire. our debt has gotten out of control , my wife is a chemical
dependancy therapist with the student loans to prove it and i have now lost

my job...we are now afraid to answer our phones due to being behind on
everything......i just want to get our lives back to normal and would also
like for my family to have real furniture instead of air mattress ...any
help from anyone would be a blessing.....i have always been the problem
solver of my family and now i have run out of answers and have no one to
turn to....our savings is long gone and we cant pay our rent any longer while paying other monthly bills and buying food
